Downed state threw me for a loop at first. Granted I had done absolutely no research into game play. I like jumping in and trying to figure things out. My first character was a warrior. I got downed and just started hitting keys. I was amazed because my warrior jumped up and I started running away as I was outnumbered. I thought I had gotten away but suddenly fell over dead, defeated. Ahh, vengeance. What a funny trick. Haha..

He needs to contact support following the support link a the top of the page then the submit a request link located on the top right of that page. Anet will not discuss account issues with anyone but the account owner.

Actually I think many of the human males look young as well. Most look in their lower 20’s.

Find a guild of friendly like minded players to play with that understand your limitations and will work with you.

Are you trying to login with the email address registered to your account and not your display name? If you continue to encounter problems and you are certain you are trying to login with the email address registered to your account and the proper password and still have problems you will have to wait to hear from support.

No, you cannot buy the deluxe edition to upgrade an existing account. Buying the deluxe edition will only give you a second account. The only way to upgrade is through the gem store at the cost of 2,000 gems and it doesn’t come with an extra character slot.

Your game login is the same as the forum login so if you can login here you should be able to login to the game. If you have your password saved in your browser you can normally look it up by going to your browser settings and looking at your saved passwords.

The “welcome” he got was one of the reasons I suggested that they not have a title and that ANet not post their Display names. Imo, the forum specialist would do just as good a job working incognito (since their job is to collect and forward ideas and post responsibly) and wouldn’t have the ire of angry posters focused on them for simply existing.

I agree. I’ve been checking the PvP forums off and on to see if it was announced there yet. I’m interested in the reaction from that forum.

I don’t think most PvE players care about the achievement board. Unless you started from launch and did everything there is no way to catch up. That is why most PvE players don’t care because who cares who has the most PvE achievement points because it is meaningless anyway. It isn’t a sign of skill or great game play. There are only a handful of people that worry about their spots there on the PvE leader board and well, most of us don’t care about them. But if they want to say hey, “Look at me!” then good for them.

Have you ever seen NFL offensive and defensive line players? They are some of the biggest guys in sports. They are very mobile, very active and exercise often. This is one guy who happens to be on the team that just won the Super Bowl. It is his second.

If skinny characters can run around swinging weapons almost the same height as they are a character with a gut can as well, if not even easier thanks to the extra weight.

Make sure you also choose the drop down menu under, “Specific Issue”. It reads as, “[no selection]” until you click it and choose an option. This is often over looked by people and could be the cause of your problem. Not selecting the drop down option will give the error message you described.

If you didn’t do anything wrong nothing will happen. If players abuse the report function to file false reports they are in jeopardy of a suspension themselves.

You can purchase an additional account and it will not overwrite your current one. What you need to do is have your son (or you if you are doing it for him) register the new account under his email address using the serial code provided once purchased. That is the important part as the email address is the account name so it should not be the same email as the one you registered your version with.

If your son is playing on your computer it will not matter as he will enter his account name (the email address it was registered to) and password to login. When he logs in he will be using the version that was purchased, in your case the Heroic edition and it will not affect your version at all. If he is playing on a separate computer he will need to download and install the game and it still will not affect you as long as he uses the account name and password registered to the new account.

Once again the important part is once you buy the game for your son, make sure not to use the serial number using your own account info (your email address you registered your game with). Instead use it to register with a separate email and password.

Yes, you can go to any races starter zone. To do so go to your current races main city which should be right by the starter zone then take the portal to Lions Arch. There you can find portals to all the races main cities and you can then exit the main city of that race into their starter zone.

When an OP deletes their post and no one has posted in it yet it shows a “user does not exist” message under last poster.

He still exists, and it appears he didn’t delete his account (you can’t delete an account anyway), nor does he seem banned. Click on the author name by the thread. My guess is he deleted his post because he posted the same in the main thread on this topic. When an OP deletes their post it shows as empty.

They tried the pvp in pve during silverwastes in the champ bandit area – it soon got kicked to the dustbin as it wasn’t woring as intended and didn’t work as a friendly enviroment for players.

It was a bug and not intended and if I recall correctly the player that took the buff that made them red couldn’t even fight back.

Fixed an issue in which players who paid to safely enter a bandit camp in the Silverwastes were attackable by normal players.

Keg brawl wasn’t removed a month after release. It was still in the game. It is still available but it is part of the activity rotation, so not available every day.

It won’t do any good. Unless the guild leader comes back at least long enough to change leadership the OP is out of luck.

Anet has stated in the past that they do not get involved in guild issues and cannot change or replace guild leaders.

It is fair to be unhappy with support response time, however there is a limited number of support staff and they can only do so much at a time.

I’m a very casual player and I don’t have a problem with combat controls. Moving and dodging makes it fun for me. I don’t think there are a “crazy amount of keys” to keep track of even playing an Ele. Then again I use a gaming mouse where most of my skills are on my thumb buttons. Even before I got my gaming mouse I didn’t find the amount of keys I had to use or follow excessive as opposed to games I have played in the past.. It is better than other games where you are rooted in place while initiating an attack and trying to track a larger number of skill bars.

The search function is broken and Anet has said they cannot fix it. However, I usally find most of the threads I need to reference via google and by typing, “Guild Wars 2 forum (topic I’m looking for here).”

For example Googling, “guild wars 2 forum super adventure box” brings up the thread I linked as the second result just under the wiki for SAB.

For more accurate results you can also use Google and search something like, “site:https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum super adventure box” without the quotes and where super adventure box can be replaced with the topic you are looking for.

^^^ No one said it was a recent development. However, it was becoming more predominate over the last few months. Now we know it is a violation that should clean it up.

I just tested it to verify and if you do not choose that option from the drop down you get the error you described.

What I don’t like is how the more toxic people seem to congregate into these LFGs.

I always start my own LFG usually with, “Path ‘X’, All welcomed.” I’ve never had a problem when doing so and find it fills up fast. That way I don’t have to worry about people that want be jerks. It is a simple and effective way to weed out the people that want to be toxic or dictate how others should play.

For some reason it seems many people that post here about the problem with PUGs and toxicity have some fear of starting their own LFG that meet their game play criteria. I don’t get it. It isn’t hard to do and minimizes the negative aspects of PUGing.
