I’m anti-mount myself but every time we continue to argue with the pro-mount crowd all we do is bump the thread.

It means they are looking into it at a higher level in order to hopefully assist you. It may take more hours or even a day or so before you hear back. If you don’t hear anything back after 72 hours post in the sticky thread Tickets For Review (3 days or older).

The game already runs on OSX. The port to Linux shouldn’t require a complete rework of the game. And ArenaNet could make a statement to support Linux as a gaming platform.

Unfortunately the game doesn’t properly work with WINE very well.

Anet barely supports the OSX beta client which is a port. Have a look at the Mac forum. The Mac forum’s one support specialist is doing it as a side job and has not posted in almost a month. I would not hold much hope for a Linux client.

Not really troll unless you count trolling a bot. Back in the LS when there were those balloons that would take people to DR a bunch of us found a bot in Queensdale. Since bots constantly spam F we gathered some mesmers. We dropped ports on the bot and got it to take the balloon to DR. That was pretty funny.

Super Adventure Box. It was a side game based on old 8bit video games.

I’ve never had a problem with it. Then again I almost always start my own party and usually advertise something like, “All welcome”. Generally I get a pretty good group with the occasional first timer that the group helps learn the dungeon. I’ve never had to deal with elitists because I never join the , “Speed run, 80s 10K+ AP only” type groups.

Make sure you are using your email address you registered the game with to login and not your display name. Your email address is the account name for login.

Sadly I doubt you will get an answer here either. However, considering our Mac specialist is one person doing it in their time from other duties I would not bet on a native client anytime in the foreseeable future.

Your name may have just been recently reported by someone. The length of time you have had the name has nothing to do with it. It all has to do with when the name was reported or seen by a GM.

Nope. One thing about GW2 is it allows players to come and go as they please and take time off. They can come back after that time with no repercussions. You will need to find a different name.

My kite I have now does not really cosmetically alter the state of my avatar. It is holding a kite instead of a weapon. That’s about it.

You are awfully worked up about something we have not even seen yet. Now if the new kites lift the avatar a bit in the air while offering swiftness I’d be more convinced it was a mount. Otherwise it’s just a hand held item that offers swiftness.

An item that a character holds that gives a speed boost is not a mount IMO. It’s just an item with a speed boost. Mounts are something a character rides, sits on.
