I don’t care for it but a lot of people do like it. It really is personal preference. If you think you may want to best to find a good WvW server just in case. The top ones are usually full but I think they just opened up more spaces.
Server doesn’t matter much now for PvE due to the megaserver. If you are into WvW you will probably want to look for a good ranking WvW server.

The digital Heroic edition is now the standard edition (lowest price) but comes with a few items. It costs, $39.99. If you already have GW2 there is no upgrade available to the heroic edition. You can however upgrade to the deluxe edition via the gem store and get the items that come with the digital deluxe edition. The cost to do so is 2000 gems.

People would probably use it to troll. They would send the message they are on the way then never go there to rez the downed player. The downed player would be sitting there waiting until they get the clue no one is showing up.

Reply to the emails you received for each ticket and state something like, “I know longer need help with this ticket. This ticket can be closed.”
Glad to hear it. Now if you no longer need help you should close your CS tickets so they can assist the next person in line. 
Submitting multiple tickets actually slows the response time. You should close all but your first ticket. Also, you can post in the ticket for review sticky thread with your ticket number if it has been longer than 3 days.
As far as having your password saved in Chrome you should be able to view it by going to settings > show advanced settings > manage passwords > click the dots next to the Guild Wars 2 forum link and choose ‘show’

You can try submitting a support ticket. I recall seeing a thread not long ago where someone had a similar problem and I think support resolved it for them by exchanging the armor for the one they could use.

They can’t even render players minis on a busy map. I can imagine that would be a big problem with mounts too.

Previously purchased permanent gathering tools can be upgraded to account-bound versions by unequipping them and bringing them to a Black Lion Weapons Specialist.
If they simply wanted to remove key farming it would have been much easier for them to remove the key from the L10 story reward and assign it to a much later story reward. I think there is more to the reason behind this change than just to nuke key farming.

You can transfer for free if you delete all your characters. Make sure you put anything non-soulbound in your bank first. You will keep all your gold and other wallet items as well. Also keep in mind BlackGate is a pretty popular server and it may be full in which case you won’t be able to transfer there. If that is the case you can pick a different NA server and still guest to BlackGate to play with your friends aside from WvW.

I’m fairly certain that ArenaNet has previously stated that game developers do not have any in-game abilities. Only GMs do and all GMs are identified as a GM with “GM” in their name.
As this ArenaNet employee is NOT a GM, there is no way this ArenaNet employee could have caused the OP to disconnect.
