I know several guildies who still have tickets. They are unsure if they want a weapon or gold at this point.

Thanks Mistress Ele. I’ve come to the same conclusion as well. None of them seem to fit a recipe. I don’t think It would be random at all.

While the result for the steam Mini’s is random out come of 1 out of 3 the recipe to go into it is set in stone and the same.

Any update on Mr Sparkels? I have a Mini Zojja but lack the golems to see if they fit.

edit: Had a guild check and he says you can’t but the golems from guild coms into the forge. I don’t have a screen shot to prove it though. :/

So I was lucky enough to get one of these from a chest today and like all back pieces I decided to convert it to sPVP. Can’t deposit it. So I went to the mists to check the tab and found there isn’t one for it.

Are you going to add a spot for it A net? Anytime soon? Sitting in my bank until then. Not a huge deal but would be nice If I could deposit it.

I have to echo some others here. I have never had cut scene issues before (some minimal bugs). I did not loose FPS, do not have latency issues, and do not have a mid or lower end PC. Yet there was a clear lip sync issue and I did see the floating gun, which was odd. There was some odd movement in the Queens arms as well if I remember correctly.

I just assumed they were bugs. Anything Is possible and it could be my system but I don’t think so.

Also looking for more info.

Even though they are in the specials tab I think they do drop from the Set 2 RNG packs. No confirmation other than a few LA conversations.

Also looking for info on how to get Mr Sparkles.

While I don’t disagree about some of this being re-skinned content it is still plenty fun. Opinion of course but I do enjoy running with the zerg and I like the new champion chests.

Do I want dungeons reworked? Of course. I’d also like a complete new zone. Not southsun but a real new zone to explore. I imagine those are coming or at least I hope so.

There is still polish to be done in certain areas for sure. Good news you’ll get a new patch in 2 weeks where there is not only something new to do but also little bits of polish here and there.

Vol they want to make hundreds of gold for farming one boss over and over again.

I am with the people above who knew this was coming. I am not sure how you didn’t think this was going to get changed or nerfed. I made a little bit of money, paid for a set of scholar runes and few pieces berserker armor I needed for my guardian. I am more than happy with my results.

I have mine set to High and I still see grey character as I approach them all the time. It’s really annoying to see these place holders honestly. Then again maybe my computer sucks lol

I’ve since played with my settings and was wondering what the culling settings would have been at before we were able to change them?

My computer ran the game beautifully before this patch, with the removal of culling there is a clear difference.

So what were the settings before you allowed me the change them.

Low model count and High details?
or Med model count and med details?

meh I used my extra dragon tickets to use dragon tickets. I kind of wish I didn’t spend 90 USD on RNG chests to get my fusion longbow now. Probably going to much cheap in TP gold then it was in IRL cash.

You didn’t see this nerf incoming? Ran it as much as I wanted yesterday and opened them all. Did a few this morning and opened all them too. While I agree it would have been nice to allow to open what you earned there is probably coding behind the scene that makes this a blanket change to that item.

I am happy there are less exotics in this set actually. I was able to collect all the mini’s but those and to get the achievement and title I need those exotic ones as well. Once the prices stabilize I’ll be more happy about them

something tells me that it was supposed to be 800 gems sadly.

It is a little mind blowing that they don’t have some sort of recovery tools. Perhaps they do but not on a guild scale like this. Sad to hear that happened. I would also be devastated if only for all the influence and merits etc.

I imagine that Anet is backlogged at the moment with verbal abuse tickets. This is common in every farm. Orr happens to be the worse. I had a fellow guildmate and commander get verbally abused for over 2 hours in frostgorge because he didn’t want to do wurm and his tag was on. He was skipping one champion.

Simple solution might simply be to turn off the tag and not have to deal with it. However why give into the bullies? It litterly has to be their way or the highway.

Orr is a bit different as you actually get your life and family members lives threatened or wishes of death, dismemberment, accident etc. I do report such people no matter who it is aimed at and I suggest everyone do the same.

Its a game and it might seem very silly to take such comments with any serious thought (and I don’t) but it doesn’t make it acceptable.

I sort of agree with the OP certainly the attitude is toxic. However as a small guild it’s given us another guild event to do during the week and we get a fantastic turn out.

Might have been silly but I was sitting on about 3k quarts or so that I bought cheap a month ago. Return on investment was good even if it continues to rise in value.

Kept about 800 for myself incase I need them at some point.

just thought I would throw my 2 cents in here and some random numbers from personal experience.

I got lucky once and got a precursor after months of trying from the forge on my last 40g. I was using rares for the longest time with no luck. I switched to 40g worth of exotics a few months ago and got a dawn.

I sold the dawn and for whatever reason tried for hammer. Cost me about 400g or so worth of exotics nearly breaking the bank to get it. I sold it as well.

I took that money and put it back into greatswords. My mindset was that with 2 precursors there was a better chances (probably not). Once again cost me nearly my entire stack to get another dawn.

I repeated this 5-6 times in total. Each time it cost me 400-500g worth of exotics. I did walk away with a Quip for my engineer, (I had many of the mats already just needed some T6, the precursor and some ectos). But in the long run there was no profit to be made doing this.

Eventually I lost my stack trying to get a dagger precursor for my wife. Such are the ways of the casino though. For the record this was at the time of sentinel gear. I spent a good 500g or so in material to make sentinel dagger and forge those. Never seen that precursor.

Anyways thanks for the response. Will I still be able to anchor for the group? It seems the almost depend on it.

can you guys be more specific with runes, sigils etc? link to build? I never really considered strife a beginner or anyone in DnT figured if that is what they are using in their runs then that is one of the top builds.

Zerker weapons except for hammer which is knights as well.
I act as the anchor from my dungeon / fractal team (20s fractal)

Am I wasting potential? If so where and why? It would seem that when I play this style the team does better. We are average players and not super stars but being the anchor or having a guardian seems to let them go wild with all dps builds.

Mirta is spot on. If you even think about success with the event for a sec, or attack the wrong target even by accident this is the kind of backlash that you get. It’s unnecessary, silly and it’s disgusting that the player base treats each other this way. You might say “this is the internet” or “deal with it” but it’s far worse than normal.

I shot the boss at the embers once after someone else had completed it and got more than 3 whispers from different gamers calling me all sorts of names along with wishes of death and dismemberment. That is not acceptable. I hope Anet does look into those reports seriously.

Normally I’d also say its only a few bad apples. But it simply isn’t. Greed has taken over in mass force and it’s disturbing to see.

This x1000. The number of players who openly and privately spew name calling, poor attitude in general, and wishes of bodily harm and death threats is overwhelming now. It’s appalling on my server, more so in the Orr area when the event doesn’t fail on purpose. But across the server it is disturbing.

Again this worries me a lot.

For the poster who says he plays 3 hours a day and makes 300g or so. I have to ask how? Deadeye? just champions? are you getting really lucky? I play 3 hours or so a day maybe less sometimes and I have made nowhere near that amount.

how long per trip foofad? just curious because I feel like I am missing the boat and doing something wrong. sad I feel that way but stories in and out of game are making me feel it, this simply Dev “yes” has me worried. lol

What I am concerned about like I said above is what about the player who haven’t massed farm? Or simply haven’t been lucky. This is a huge gold increase, at least 50-60g myself which is way more than normal but not in the hundreds or thousands as some have been suggesting. I feel like there is a wave coming and whatever the sink is, I won’t be able to keep up at all. I enjoy zerging and the farm for the record, but I do it an hour here and an hour there etc. I am not nearly dedicated enough I suppose.

Had a guildie get the hammer precursor to drop today and I told him to hold onto all that gold for his dear life. lol

And for those of us who haven’t been dedicated farmers are in trouble I assume? 150g a day? That is insane. I haven’t made 150g this patch. I have seen an increase for sure but 150g a day seems insane.

First of all Konig very good responses. For those who don’t like all the quotes and such; well then I am sorry you had to see them but Konig was able to get his point across a lot more clearly. At least to me, not that I am saying anyone has to justify themselves.

At this point though we’ll have to agree to disagree. I have not seen every video so I won’t make claims how he does or doesn’t do X and Y. What I have seen I have enjoyed and has gotten me interested in the lore of GW and excited for the game. The mystery series from what I’ve watch have always had some sort of disclaimer. If other fans or posters here decide not to listen to it or ignore it, well then that is a shame.

If I want to know what the community thinks on these theories and videos then I come here and look at threads and get a deeper understanding. I am not into reading the wiki for lore though and sadly the game (GW2) does not do an amazing job for a casual lore guy like myself to connect all the dots and follow the various bread crumbs.

I guess I really like speculation as well. I am awaiting to see what scarlet does to divinity reach come the 20th.

I have guildies who have wintersday and fusion tickets still sitting in their banks. Not sure why they haven’t made a decision as to what to get yet but they haven’t.

In one case one of them was saving it until his legendary was complete, with the news that there might be new legendaries he is holding on to it still.

Guildies and I were discussing how this one feels like in comparison but the last patch with champion rework and wallet was pretty nice. I am almost ok with it because of the first patch.

These are starting to remind me of intel’s Tic Toc chip schedule. Tic is a new chip normally and Toc’s are upgraded versions of them on same platform.

I believe you are correct Leo. One of the posters on the front page has said as much about collaboration and fact checking etc.

I seem to be having an issue then. WOR seems to do a lot less damage, he is charging the head shot in melee then teleports in instant kills me. Lack of ascended makes that big a difference in dps?

I haven’t made anything really. That is ok though. But some more clarity on actual changes in patch notes would be nice. Not sure why it’s a secret and weren’t told. Again, it’s ok to change it. Some would even say good or great change but better patch notes are needed. This isn’t the first time either when these undocumented changes are made.

I don’t mind and welcome changes they do but tell us what you changed. If you nerf something or buff something just say so. Ninja changes I don’t like. :/

This was one of the speculation videos and the most recent one at that. There is a disclaimer in the video naming it as such. He doesn’t “claim” anything as you like to put it. Clearly there is not info that Kiel is their leader and that she is from the future, it’s about speculation and theorizing. Do I buy that? No I don’t but I didn’t walk away taking any of that as fact either. No sure why you did.

So would you guess that more people got enjoyment from a single sentence / 45 sec cut scene or a detailed video about it and connections made to it? What about all those GW2 players who never experienced GW1? Do you think they will have seen that 45 sec cut scene or read that one line and understood it all?

I agree with people above. This “I’ve finished farming him and now I am done please nerf.”

What class, spec, etc are you using to farm him so well? Share it with people so other can do it and I am sure it will get nerfed. Especially if it’s as easy a farm as you say.

I haven’t found this to be true but it’s highly possible I am not nearly as skilled as I think I am sometimes. lol

I have to ask how many videos you watched today after looking him up to make such an assessment? 2 videos? 3? What is he getting wrong about the lore? Because it’s so fresh I am sure you’ll be able to easily quote some things he is misrepresenting.

Does the games cut scenes really explain enough in 45 secs? I would argue that it does not. I have found myself lost and or confused at launch as to what was sometimes going on or references they were making.

I am not going to go over how I enjoy longer videos because that is a personal thing and I realize many people dislike the length. We are getting way off topic here now but I felt I should respond about the gaming giving you enough information and lore in 45 sec or however long those cut scenes are.

While I like many of them I feel as though they leave much to be desired and many players might be confused or care less because the don’t understand what is happening. Some simply don’t care as well.

I realize at this point I am probably sounding way too fan boyish and that isn’t something I really want to come across as. But for every post here that seems to almost blindingly say YES! There seems to be almost as many or at least some that blindingly say NO!

In the end none of us as players have this say. I have to agree with the post above that said something to the effect of making Dulfy an NPC might have been a mistake.
