it is also week 1… this was all expected.

que’s are long in T1, have been for a long time. When I am in there I am making significant progress on achievements.

I would say I am fairly unlucky. But even with a mere 110% MF I see an increase in rares drop. I don’t really notice blues / green but probably those as well.

Please take a look at this Anet Devs. All T1 servers should have the same sort of matchups. BG and SoR seem like they have similar schedules but right now JQ is getting a free walk they don’t need.

I start to notice these stealth changes since queen’s pavilion. I am sure they were around long before that. It’s a shame really and I am sure it’s not intentional per se, but it should be noted and adjusted.

If whips are ever introduced into the game (kind of like the open world weapons) I think that would be a decent fit.

Been using a well build for zerg play. Love it. For solo roaming (not too often anymore) I use a terror build.

There are 2 new finishers. They were added the week before.

We have tons and tons of back pieces, I’m happy there is a break this month. There is a perma tonic from last year. Its RNG from the bags.

Also never put too much stock or faith into a data mine. You assumed one thing and then it turned out to be something else. It was never a promise and sometimes things data mined are never even put into the game.

Anet seems to be on a 1 week BL cycle. Meaning we are getting new things to the store every week it seems. I would assume we’ll see the costumes and possible the bag helms next Tuesday. Perhaps not what you were looking for but that is what I expect from it.

Also this is how it was handled last year more or less. They were fine then, I am sure they will be fine now.

I do agree with you, I want more weapon choices, more armor skins. (was really hoping that the princes armor was armor). But there is only so much they can fit into these events it seems. I don’t expect wintersday to be too different. Few new skins, meta with mini, tonic, or back piece, possibly a new node for our instance, etc.

There is a larger problem really. (at least for me) Something like the outfits and or bag helms are fun and I would buy some of them. However, there is no closet to put them in, you get 1 use out of it. I often have to decide between sPVP and PVE. Why not have the unlimited use like the achievement skins for some of these items. Especially for meta event items?

sigh. So quick to be hostel.

Of course I read the other two posts in the thread. Why would you need to have tickets in order to see the items for sale. It doesn’t work that way with any others, and it didn’t work that way for more than a month when they went to that vendor. So why would they change it? Seems like you should be able to view them without having ticket in your inventory, hence a bug.

Is this a bug? Seems like it might be.

I feel like there are some really good story bits in there. What is a shame really is that at some point all stories cease to matter and you get a generic ending.

I think too many players thought this patch in general was going to be a huge trait update. That wasn’t the case.

I love my engi build. Sadly I’ve hit my personal skill cap with it and lose to classes I know I should beat. Sometimes players will simply be better than you but I feel like Engi requires more skills than a good deal of the other classes.

(I am referring to solo roaming in WVW)

wanted to add something else here: I expected a “Pail” icon not some reused bag icon. I know this probably seems like a minor point. But for 15k (or any more reasonable price) you would like it to look different from your other bags.

I suppose that it does look different but it certainly doesn’t look like a pail. Could just be that I envisioned a “pail” and it looks like a bag. Most won’t care I’d imagine.

I’m going to chime in and say that seeing all the character models played a large part last year.

The prince actually made me laugh out loud. Also love the banter between Mad King and his Son.

Generally I don’t mind the mini’s.
I am getting a little annoyed with the 1-2 3 packs per month in which you need to buy 2 if you’d like to get all 4 minis from that set.

Crafted the shield. Rabid. Kinda need Dire now which I am not willing to recraft.

I stated in my post that I use the Rare kit. Either Mystic or Master.

There is nothing wrong with it. On a daily basis I salvage 5-6 rares and get 0-2 ectos at best. Using the rare kit. My RNG luck is terrible. It’s just the way it is.

happy to see gear doesn’t change too much. With ascended weapons and soon armor it’s very hard to replace or re-gear characters over and over.

I don’t believe ranger is useless or dead. This is the general consensus if you read the forums and clearly there are problems with the class. Chris Whiteside himself said that “they” are aware of it and are working on it. (I am paraphrasing)

My post was more directed at players who are taking their last stand with the Oct 15th patch. My point was that the decisions that needed to be made about that patch have been made and are set in stone. We will see Tuesday what those are. Threatening or stating that “I am leaving if X doesn’t happen” isn’t helpful and doesn’t garner proper attention.

Morrigan: Yes 800 gems account bound would be fine with me as well. But they aren’t account bound, hence why I feel it’s a little pricey.

Gorwald: Are you talking about zerging? Because soloing I feel like spirits have a place. All those things you said are true. Spirits can die very easily. But a lot of those skills are interruptible as well.

Don’t have much to add until we see where this goes and how it pans out. I am looking forward to more discussion on many topics.

They were RNG boxes to begin with. It’s always been a smarter investment or buy method to get them from the TP.

I have to agree with many when I say I would much rather have this as armor rather than town clothes.

We really need some sort of town clothes system for storage. I have more than 8 toons and all are nearly wearing some sort of set. This one here will give them all at least 1 set. I am not keen on using my bank to store more of these.

You are using an ascended neck with Pwr/Prec/Vit/Crit D.

Are you using this because you wanted the extra Vitality or because you previously owned it?

I wish they would simple make their mind up on what they want to do. They seem rather indecisive about their decisions on this matter. For quite some time now in interviews it has been, “we haven’t made a decision as to how we are going to release that yet”.

They say they can release all these things in the LS. I sure hope so. More and more games are getting player housing or guild halls. New games will have new areas to explore. etc etc.

please make a decision.

I do not make nearly enough gold in game to spend 44+g on 1 tool. I don’t even have that amount. I am simply bad at making and holding onto gold in this game.

Also semi related: I don’t mind spending real money at all on gems. But on a few items I feel like they are over priced a little. I will probably continue to buy 1 tool every release of new ones.

My only concern with this is If I give Molten pick to character X now, but Angel Pick comes out in a few months and it fits my character better, then I’d like to be able to swap these out and give molten to someone else, and the new one to character X.

Probably not a large concern for most.

I hope so. I like spirits. I use them a lot in sPVP. Doesn’t work so well for me in wvw so I’ve been skipping out on my ranger for quite a while.

I plan on getting one before it expires. 800 gems is a bit steep in my opinion. I’ve also had a lot of complaints from guildies because they bought the other tools and would like to change them to another toon but can not because soul bound.

Some lost sales there. 400 gems seems far more reasonable to me. 5 bucks.

Sadly I assume that the dungeon will be around for the second patch and for 2 weeks like last year. It was a fun mini instance.

While I don’t think that picture is an RNG box I would say it’s safe to assume there will be some.

Possibly the data mined name “spooky packs” will be RNG backs this year. Kinda hope its like dragon bash where you’d get them in game but also could buy better ones from the Gem store.

Hadn’t realized that Carlotta was a pet spider. Makes sense now. I assume both the Carlotta and Prince Thorn will be CC buyable. Wonder if they are account bound?

I also have been thinking that it might be a Zaitaffy situation where X CC makes 1 Corn on the Corn (data mined name). Could be 100% wrong as well.

I am probably going to buy it. However I have the same concern. How long does it take. The animation make it seem slow. One of the great things about the southsun one is it’s quickness. Animation Is ok on it, but the speed is what I love.

In the latest screen shot (the one of the figure with red staff) It looks like a door of coffin upright behind him. Looks just like the “box”

Because of the chains and such I thought it was a box. RNG chest or something.

A friend mentioned he thought it was a coffin.

So what do we think it is. Coffin or Loot Chest?

Expansions almost always sell well. Unless they wait so long players no longer care. Even after Wow’s Cata expac (possibly their worst) players lined up to buy Panda express. I realize that is wow and possibly not a fair comparison but I think an expac would do fine. Problem is they are making a ton of the gem store and don’t need to even think about it. Sucks for us I guess.
