I think all the meta rewards should give at least one for spvp and one for pve. At the least. I mean why not? Why do we have to choose which format we want to have it in? What happens in PVE when you want to switch this to another back skin or helm / glove skin etc?

The tower simply doesn’t scale. My guess as to why it doesn’t is because that takes more time and resources, just a guess though. There have been a few content patches where things either don’t scale at all or scale horribly.

Q: Do a lot of players really expect to only play an MMO for a month or 2? I go in hoping and or thinking that I am going to play for several years. This isn’t always the case but never do I think to myself “going to play this for a month and then move on”

I think there are a ton of nice axe’s already. However for the necro, Majorys is a big win. I plan to get one since I use Axe very often.

Nothing you can do about it. It’s the way it works in this game. I ran that instance 50+ times and never seen it drop. I saved gold and by the time I had 100 it had jumped to 160 then 200+ and it was out of reach.

It’s a great looking skin, (opinion) it’s rare, it’s supply is short. If it’s at 750 then it will only increase as time goes on.

What is it currently that is broken about WVW that needs to change in order to make it more balanced and fun. What is found in other games in reference to WVW that GW2 just doesn’t stack up?

I played rift exclusively long before it went F2P in all it’s aspects so I’d love to know what your view is about this. Honestly asking, no sarcasm intended.

My comment was answering someone above who thought that she and the Toxic hybrid were both supposed to be sellable. My point was that she is not. Thanks for the quick replies though.

I wish she was forgeable. I would much rather mini’s be forgeable than sellable.

GW2 took 5 years to produce. Of course, some of those 5 years will be used to create the engine, learn how to sue it, etc etc, but an expansion will not see as much content as the original because they won’t have enough time to do it.

While this is true; I have found through experience that those expansions seemingly give me more than LS does. This might not be actually true, but it feels true.

This doesn’t seem to hold true in most cases. It took me nearly a year to get bored and or complete most of the current content without living story stuff.

Of course this adds things in like wvw and spvp which with an expansion wouldn’t hold a ton of new value for me. But a real fully fleshed out expansion generally gives a player like me months of new content.

I am sorry but LS just doesn’t do it for me sadly. I want it to work but the story is moving at a snails pace and the content is really just grabbing AP. In game rewards are getting better but are still fairly minimal. There isn’t much to earn or progress your character.

For the record I am not looking forward to any of the new MMOs coming out. I’ve played the 2 big ones announced and both are fairly lacking (opinion), I am not interested in going back to wow ever. EQN will be released when? We don’t know yet and I still am not even close to sold on that game. This is the game I like and want to continue to play, I am just feeling a little stagnant as of late.

More options is better. If you don’t want to do this to get Venom because it’s cheap, then just buy venom.

Queen jenna is also not sellable.

2 of the 3 things you enjoy doing in the game do not even require ascended gear.

The last one does not reward dragonite at all. It doesn’t reward much of anything at all. This is the life of a roamer.

Now this being said if was mentioned a while ago that they are looking into rewarding ascended items at some point but there is no deadline on when that is going to happen.

It would be nice if all mini’s even account bound ones could be forged as to get rid of extras.

the jack in the box is a bit slow compared to the other one. least it feels like it. However I do enjoy it, gave it to my necro along with bone pick.

yeah isn’t that annoying. I understand why it’s there but even when I unload my extra mats at the end of a day I get the error several times.

Do we know if this bar is per server or all severs?
Might be just me but I want to fill that bar as soon as possible. Not because I want to see it go away but because I want to see it filled and do it as quickly as possible.

My current problem is this. Great stuff in the gem store. Not so much in these games or updates, and not multiple ways to earn rewards and or buy them. No expansion talk at all. We get LS which last me 1-2 days and then I sit and wait another 2 weeks.

Sounds great I know, only 2 weeks. In the mean time I am bored and have little to do.
I love this game, I love the lore I just want a full expansion with new fully fleshed out zones, skills, race, perhaps class, etc etc…

at the very least I would like to get an sPVP version and a PvE version. Right now I have to pick. While similar but different can’t the meta rewards give you both, again you have to choose.

Rome was not built in a day. Neither should your ascended armor be. It will be by some mind you but it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Save now if you are interested in this because I have a feeling soon enough we’ll be seeing that armor.

I am assuming that most people who have multiple alts and want to level this way would have a scroll. Poor assumption but it’s still plenty doable. You can craft this way and it’s going to cost you a lot as it should. It is not hard to level at all. 5k achievement points if you have a main to 80 also isn’t too difficult to get, especially if you do your dailies.

I just don’t see this as a priority or out of hand at all. It is an alternate way to level, that doesn’t mean it’s an equal way to level or the best way to level.

You can play how you want, that doesn’t mean that crafting should be cheap to level to 80. It’s boring to go out into the open world but it’s fun to sit for hours and craft to level 80…to each their own.

It’s been one day and you are complaining because you didn’t get enough keys…not everything needs to be instant gratification. I ran flame and frost dungeon 50+ times to never see the back pack, it sucked for sure. But this chest is very different you can open it as many times as you have keys. Keys are RNG but you’ll be able to open it a minimum of once a day.

so 7 levels per profession? plus 20+ scroll and whatever the difference between 400-500 it’s pretty darn close.

Confirm: I did complete this today. I don’t know If it was fixed with the patch or if it was as mentioned above and this mob is able to be kited and killed to tied up somewhere.

love these weapons and I think the price is fair this time. considering what armor and the toxic skins were I was scared these would be pure RNG or even more gems.

I agree with you as I fall into the same minority. However it’s 2.50 USD more or so. I thought it was going to be much worse.

Point is there are many way to get to level 80. If you want to craft to 80, you can. The current TP market is going to make that expensive for you. So it becomes a question of time verse money.

edit: I tired to make my point numbers 1-4 for example and it made them all number 1’s. Thought that was odd.

crafting to lv 80 was always too easy and cheap anyways. I understand why players like it especially after your first lv 80.

It is collecting for sure. Most MMOs though do not allow you to sell your collections. We simply collect for different reasons.

There are skelks all around this area and 1 vet skelk with the turret but no frog.

His cannon is there, but there is no frog. I’ve been trying to complete this as well. You can’t interact with the cannon either it’s greyed out. Please fix so I can complete that map. Thanks

I should have been more clear. I don’t think ICD alone will be the only change to the runes, like you suggested it will probably lose some stacks as well. But I believe we’ll see an ICD added all the same.

Don’t understand this at all. I do not care how much my collection is worth. I am not going to sell it. It’s a little annoying to me that all mini’s aren’t account bound on pickup so you can’t resell them. However trading is fun as well and make getting the collection that much easier. So I understand why it’s there.
