Mage: To put this is a better light for you I’ve opened more than 40 chests in the last 2 months. I have 2 scraps. Nothing new, the RNG is terrible on these things.

It’s like playing a slot machine, the house wins 99% of the time. 1% someone hits a jackpot. My numbers are made up but you get the idea.

Malediktus: Did you buy it to have in a collection or to resell?

My fear is it will be locked behind RNG temporary content, or BL keys… If neither is true then I will be happy. Even if it’s bad RNG perma content. Let me earn this over time and I’ll be extremely happy.

Been in the zone for more than 2 hours and still none of these spawned, seems slower than any other zone, starting to wonder if bugged? Can someone tell me they’ve seen one?

I don’t see an issue with the armor and for once they look like nice sets. (opinion)

However more data mined RNG dyes, BL skins, which you can save for it you like them but it is still an gamble and or grind gold and buy from TP.

No more RNG dye packs with filler dyes.

Buying levels for most is considered pay to win. Considering you get exp for everything leveling isn’t difficult. In sPVP it’s useless and you level quickly just doing WVW unless you solo roam at a low level which I can’t really see as viable at all.

1 ticket price my guess is Nov 12? Isn’t that when Halloween goes away?

Checked the memory with zero errors. o my memory (RAM) is not the issue. Not as far as I can tell according to memtest86+ 5.01

I ran the repair, will try to get into WVW tonight to see if there is a difference. I also updated my windows 8 to 8.1 although I am positive this has nothing to do with the previous crashes.

do you know whats making you crash. I was just posting about this in the tech forums. I think mine is related to memory.

I believe it’s my hardware (memory) that is the issue. Will try to pinpoint it. However my question is why do I only have this issue with GW2 and only in WVW if this is a bad stick of Ram?

To me this indicates that it couldn’t write to the ram as it states. Can someone answer the questions above and give me some more clarity on this issue. Ram is less than a year old and has no other issues with anything else I run.

Within the last year I’ve seen 6-7 precursors all from the forge. All using exotics in order to get them. Out of those I got lucky once and got the hammer after only 20 Exos. All the others took 450+g to get them out of the forge. Very little if any profit in it for me. That 1 lucky one allowed me to make the rest of them, eventually I lost all of it dumping 700g into making daggers to get that precursor.

I would also assume this upcoming Tuesday, last Halloween patch so that is when I think we’ll see them. Had forgotten about that until you mentioned it here. Still on the fence if I like them or not. If there was an easier way to transmute and change these (unlimited uses like the achievement helms) then they would be more appealing. Kinda like show your mood in a paper bag helm. lol

Had some questions about gear. can you break down what you are using. sigils, wpn stats. etc?

I kind of assumes you were going 3 pieces zerker plus wpns and jewelry and 3 solider armor. But ther ration might be different.

You aren’t meant to be able to buy everything in game with gold. While a lot of players would much rather spend gold than rl money just realize that it’s a bad conversion for a reason.

I couldn’t remember their price from last year. Can anyone else confirm that these costumes were 500gems last year?

Perplexity Engineers are getting nerfed in the near future anyways I wouldn’t worry too much about them.

I would have loved more info on the wizards tower. I am not sure we’ll ever get to set foot in there, which is a shame.

Look up Ascii’s WVW Well build. Might not be 100% what you are looking for but he covers a lot of info and you can take that and tailor to your wants / needs.

well scarlet made some sort of deal with the nightmare court. It’s not a far stretch to say the nightmare court and krait in working together. Just like flame and frost she brought dredge and flame shamans together. Seems plausible.

dDuff is there a PVEish / WVW version of that build? Does it work there? Wife plays a thief but she really prefers P/P.

Been looking for a good P/P build for a while, hard to find.

With all the trees cut down in Kessex hills because of the krait I would speculate that a logging axe is coming in that patch. Just a guess but seems like a sound one.

Etien: No, but you can get them on the TP still if you have the means.

There are new weapons you can give with BL tickets. Might be easier to farm the necessary gold for those though.

While I would love the cost to be less (who wouldn’t), the larger issue for me is still where to store all of them?

A larger crime for me is that I pay for these skins but can only use them in town. Some of them are really fantastic. Especially for my necro. I suppose some of them would look rather silly in the open / wvw world but I would be fine with it.

Do you collect mini’s to have the collection or as an investment to resell later? I do not collect minis that are not account bound because I know I will resell them when they spike sharply. Sold both Logan and Eir when they spiked close to 50g a piece. I want those mini’s but I want 50g more.

How do you deal with Thieves in sPVP? Just started to use this build today and the thieves were really taking it to me.

I am probably positioning wrong for the most part but I can’t seem to escape them. Mesmers were also a pain in my butt. I die very quickly.

Hedix: You could be right. I have no idea how arena net is structured and where they have their resources placed. Adding any feature is a lot of work generally speaking. I assumed that these Mini games we see are designed and developed by those living story teams. I might be wrong on that though.

I was speaking however in a general overview kind of way and not just about lore. I don’t want to get too much into specifics here but features that players ask for that aren’t very high on the priority list often get the response “nothing is off the table” or something to the effect of lack of resources or time, etc…

Chaith mentions using celestial gear though and not berserkers. Also is this just a solo roaming build or can be used in the zerg? Berserkers for sure is a poor idea in the zerg and I thought it was generally a poor idea for even solo roaming.

I might be wrong as I don’t play my engineer as much as I used to. Looking for reasons to come back to it.

Could someone please explain to me (turret noob) what the issue is? I thought they just patched them?

I only ever use healing turret to be honest. The others never interested me.

I already bought mine a long while ago now when it was released. I knew or expected at some point it would stop being for sale. I haven’t bought the sickle yet but plan to. However I log in today and see that the bone pick has 17 hours left to sell before it’s gone. Normally we get a notice to the effect of “5 more days left” and there is a count down from there. I always felt that was reasonable.

I am going to chalk this up to a mistake and someone simply forgot to add a longer timer. I hope that this doesn’t start to become to norm. There are items I buy day 1 and then there are items I wait on. I do not mind they are limited time, and I am not referring to flash sales here.

I am sure somewhere on the forums or website it was posted when the bone pick was going to be removed. I only ask you give us more than 24 hours notice when you get ready to remove items. This seems to be the normal policy on these items, just seems like someone dropped the ball on this one.

I appreciate the response Colin. I look forward to seeing what you guys have in store for the player base. However, this seems to be a recurring theme. Paraphrasing here “We would like to do X, Y, and Z someday but we don’t have the resources.”

It is clear from various interviews that profit is being made, that being said you guys need more resources. I also realize that this isn’t really your call and you make best with what you do have. Me as a fan and a player saying “Get more resources” is very naïve. I know it’s not that simple.

I hope that you guys really can find workable solutions. In game books to read and or collect would be an awesome addition. (as an example) But this takes a lot of time and resources. This makes me nervous for other areas of the game that need expansion and or improvement. Resources just seem to be lacking.
