I see your point, but how about a little icon above your skill set that shows if the trait is off CD, like streamlined kits.
I mean, it’s easy to mess it up you know ? It pops in the middle of a fight and if you used up all your tool belt skills, this trait is wasted for no reason and goes on 40s CD
The most effective application here is to LoS/Block key skills during the first few actions of an encounter and trigger it using a free evade, like Rocket Charge, then follow up with a dodge bait such as Thunderclap. During the 2nd half of their dodge you can hit them with a free Moa; causing many to believe it has been wasted, but leaving a 2nd or even 3rd available to turn many fights in your (team’s) favor.
But that only works at the start of the fight, and then what ? The fight goes on and you can’t just save your skills hoping that KB is recharged

After evading a strike, your next tool belt skill is instantly recharged. 40s CD.
Seems nice but then you notice the 8s timer on it. Can it get buffed just a little bit ? It’s kinda annoying to not have any tool belt skills available when this pops up and it has 40s CD so it’s hard to time it.
If the 8s timer gets removed it’ll be a very good trait and when you got a strong tool belt skill on 6-7 seconds CD and has a 1s cast time or something you won’t miss using that skill twice which could let you escape or win some hard fights.

This elite skill is definitely good but with that CD it’s not really worth using it most of the times.
I stopped playing gw2 since alpine borderlands were removed, I just kept logging in for dailies. IMO desert borderlands are too big and there are almost no open fields

We built our guild with a total of 8-12 people who actively contributed items/gold. Mostly veterans to be honest, but the system not requires a huge 400+ guild to get the job done. And we did not force anyone to contribute – as some other guilds do.
Creating a guildhall for the only purpose of having an arena is … a bit of a waste. I’ve seen several guilds which created an arena and it lies dormant most of the time. If you just want the chance to duel with your 4 other friends, join a guild which already has an arena?
My guild and I don’t play gw2 anymore, I log in daily just for the rewards.
We have dueling sessions once every few months and have nothing to do with gold, items etc. PvP is really holding us back from using our full potential.
It doesn’t matter if the arena wouldn’t be used a lot, it’s just that having it is a good thing for dueling. But it doesn’t matter, really.

It hits twice. And I don’t know about PvP, I haven’t done any of it since HoT dropped. But in WvW with mostly Berserker gear and some Marauders mixed in, Strength runes and Force sigil, I’d regularly hit 7 – 10k on players with Electro-whirl. And that means both hits not just the first hit.
Does it show – 3000 then 4000 or does it show 7000 ? If it shows 3000 then 4000 it doesn’t mean you dealt 7k damage, instead it means you’ve dealt 4k max
Thunderclap deals an insane amount of damage aswell, I don’t think it’s not awesome.
It deals 1.5k to 3k, they just dodge after the stun ends

Unlike Overcharged Shot, you pretty much can’t combo most of your skills with Thunderclap
Ranger VS Engi – Certainly its a pretty balanced matchup and heavily in your favour if you run condis.
Ranger VS Scrapper – You probably have very little chance with a a power build.
Druid VS Scrapper – IF you master your class you have an extremely favourable matchup no matter your build.
Accurate. I’d also like to add, Scrapper is difficult for pretty much any build to deal with. It has a lot of everything so it’s not just Ranger that has a hard time with it.
Save Point Blank Shot for when they try to drop Healing Turret. If you have Beast Mastery slotted, be sure to pop a Taunt on them when they finish their Rocket Charge leap (hammer #3) or right after they cast Thunderclap as 90% of the time they’ll follow up with Rocket Charge. If you’re full melee, keep the Poison pressure on them, space out your applications so you can keep it on them as often as possible. DO NOT tank Electro-whirl ever (the yellowish sphere from hammer they encircle themselves with), it can do between 7 and 15k if you let the full thing hit you. And immediately kill Sneak Gyro when they pop it. The faster it dies the faster they come out of stealth and most times the Gyro won’t be right on top of the Engi anyway.
7-15k ? How the kitten does anyone deal 7-15k with electro whirl ?? You know that let’s say first hit showed 2k and second hit showed 4k, it means TOTAL damage was 4k not 6k. right ?

I just want hammer #5 to be like rifle #4 which is your combo starter
1.25s stun with a high aftercast, there aren’t many skills to combo with. For example Rocket (toolbelt skill), stun wears off before this skill lands

having the AED on for 8 seconds means my opponent will try not to hit me as much so isn’t like a good 8 seconds for me to go full offensive ? By the time AED goes off it is already on 22s CD

Arimas, those were my guesses, too, but so far, on every slot that has a requirement like level or such, there’s been a mouse-over tip telling you. Not with my F5. It’s just grey and not interactive. And, there’s nothing in my Hero panel about it either, so I’m stumped.
