@Markoff Your new analogy also doesn’t make sense either. You’re talking about someone who isn’t a completionist, he’s just a good guy helping his guild. If he’s going for a legendary, and he’s already made all the exotics he and his guild needs, why would he turn around and spend his mats on leveling up to make ascended? He’s make a legendary which is already as good as any ascended weapon he could make. It serves him no purpose to do that, and so he wouldn’t.
The only people who are hurt by this are the people who spent exorbitant amounts of gold then didn’t even attempt to make it back after they finished the gear. And honestly, too bad for them.
@Sykper.6583
I sold a few exotics on the trading post, for a substantial loss, but I salvaged most of the exotics for the materials to make new discoveries. I lost well over 200g for those discoveries. In this game, that is no small sum.
Sorry, but that was your choice, and a poor choice at that. It isn’t ANet’s fault that you decided to play that way, and it isn’t ANets responsibility to appease, nor compensate you for having played that way.
No, people are losing intangible recipes out of their precious list of intangible recipes. Recipes they HAVE to make again anyway. This is the point. In order to get to 500, which they have to because they’re crazy and obsessive, they have to make exotics. So better to get there through discovery anyway.
People have to make them again because Anet reset the crafting of exotics in the first place, for “sweet XP”. Horse apples.
No no no. Exotics they would have had to make anyway, reset or not, in order to level up to 500 to make the Ascended that are now missing from their list which they have to refill.
Don’t try to misrepresent the situation. They upped the crafting level. That means things need to be crafted to reach the new level. Whether they make them from the list they have, or they relearn them and refill the list, they still need to make them to reach the new level.
The trouble with the “you’ll have to rediscover them all again anyway” argument is that it fails to acknowledge the gold spent on discovering them the first time around: if we had known in advance that those recipes would get removed, many of us would have waited until this update to spend that gold on discovery, and there would be no problem.
Also: people who enjoy different activities than you do are not stupid or whiny or mentally ill or in any way inferior to you. Why is this a difficult concept to comprehend?
I didn’t spend any gold. I harvested nodes, salvaged rares from drops and acquired fine mats from a variety of places. It cost me nothing and as such was only profit. You just chose a faster, but ultimately poorer path.
You’re last part is true, but: People who take actions that aren’t ideal, despite knowing the alternatives could be considered stupid. People who complain to others about the actions they took, despite knowing the alternatives could be considered whiny. And people who only took those actions because they can’t be satisfied without having a completed list, regardless of the significance of that list would probably be considered OCD. OCD being something of a mental illness.

Not going to happen. Give it up. Instead of looking for ways to get rid of the pet, look for ways to improve it. Not that they haven’t already been expressed ad nauseum
Agree completely. I can’t believe we are unable to stow our pets. My biggest peave is running around at half speed (which is my biggest peeve) because my pet is suddenly in battle with some unknown creature I don’t care about. Or, having to constantly switch the pet from aggressive to passive all the time.
You could always try to actually pay attention to your pet. I know it’s a strange concept to have to micromanage something in a class designed around micromanagement… you know, a pet class. But if you actually paid attention you would know when your pet got hit by something and you can hit F3, maybe jab it a couple time to be sure, and your pet will not get into a fight and will instead continue following you.
If you run with a bird you’ll even get some swiftness out of it, which is nice.
I’m definitely on the search for another game simply because of the ‘in battle running at half speed nonsense.’ It’s just too irritating for me.
You will be on that search for a LONG time. Battle speed is a standard of the genre.

I’m with you for consumables, but not weapons. I also find that design to be far too bulky.
I would like to see 4 slots just above skills, where boons and conditions currently display as a mirror to the class mechanic section.
They can move boons and conditions to just above the health globe.
Print Screen.
I have a folder of every Vista in the game saved my map and region. I even have the great collapse before the pavilion and after.
Again your analogy doesn’t fit the situation. I understand how you are feeling, you put time and money into completing a goal of yours only to have all your work erased. What I am saying is it doesn’t matter.
You have no idea how they feel, don’t act like you do. It’s obvious you don’t cause you are saying “It doesn’t matter”.
It doesn’t matter TO YOU. You are not losing everything you worked hard for. You are not losing all the gold, materials, and time spent. You are losing nothing. You have no idea what it feels like to lose everything you worked hard for and have to do it all over again.
We are losing money, materials, and time that we put into something that we enjoyed. It is how we play the game. You obviously will never understand that cause it doesn’t matter to you.
They aren’t losing EVERYTHING either. They’re losing a handful of exotics.
But guess what! It’s alright. Would you like to know why? Because they would have had to make those recipes over again anyway in order to level up to 500. They have to level up to 500 too because their crazy OCD will require them to have all the Ascended recipes too. This will just allow them to get up to 500 faster because discovery is better for leveling than making orange recipes.
The reason they can’t go into specifics about whether they plan on developing an expansion or not isn’t because they just want to dodge the subject. It’s because they themselves haven’t really decided on whether they want to go ahead with creating one yet. There are still a lot of factors to consider like:
- Whether the level cap will be raised
- Whether crafting will go above 500
- What zones should be added and what level they would be
- What races if any should be added
- What professions if any should be added
They’re probably waiting to the release the game in China before they proceed with any big decisions. The thing with expansions is that they become the center of attention. I’m talking about other MMORPGs of course. All content updates will be exclusive to those expansions so if you haven’t purchased them you’ll be missing out. Factions and Nightfall were actually stand-alone games so you can’t really bring that into the argument.
“So right now we’re not really looking at expansions as an option,” lead content designer Mike Zadorojny told me on his visit to London last week.
“It’s something that’s on the table but it’s not something we’re focused on, because what we want to do is – our idea here is that with Living World, we can do what expansions would have done but do it on a more regular basis.”
I pressed him to tell me whether there would be a Guild Wars 2 expansion this year and he shook his head to indicate no. What about next year, I asked?
“If we do this right,” he answered, “we will probably never do an expansion and everything will be going into this Living World strategy.”This being said, they do not intent to have an expansion; Period. That’s why once again, I am asking if they will continue the main story line, or, ‘Personal Story’ as they call it, despite not using an expansion.
Your personal story is over. It is over. It ended. You beat Zaitan, the end. Well done. From here on out it’s not about you, it’s about the world.
It just seems to me you don’t really understand how the Living Story works. This isn’t your personal story and it’s not intended to be. This is the story of the world and the people in it. You’re just along for the ride.
I would very much like for them to expand on the Personal Story tab to express our actions in the Living World story so we can reminisce but other than that it’s not about us.
I really can’t comprehend what people’s problem is here. I’m failing to understand why in the world you would want to go discover every single recipe if you know for a fact that you know the recipe and can produce the weapon/armor/etc at any given time. He stated that he doesn’t care about the XP, then why go through all the trouble of doing it?
If it’s not on my list, then I don’t know the recipe. If it’s on my list, then I know the recipe and I don’t have to worry about it. It’s as simple as that.
I don’t care about XP either. I do care about my crafting list being ripped away without my permission. I care about my gold and materials being wasted and not returned. I would rather have no crafting professions at all than to have my work, gold and materials negated at the whim of development team.
If your gold and materials got wasted then that’s your own fault. If you were just making the gear to make it you should have been selling the gear too getting compensated for the materials you used. If you bought the materials and the sold the completed item for less, that’s your own fault.
Does anyone really think that they are going to remove the ones that require a recipe? Come on, people. This is just a minor inconvenience at worst, and a way to level your weaponsmithing for everyone.
They stated they are removing all… so until told otherwise, we must assume they are screwing us over.
All DISCOVERIES. You didn’t discover recipes that you learned from a consumable. Therefore the only thing we will lose are basic exotics. Woopy do! They can all be relearned, including Giver’s. If you don’t have any snow flakes just wait until next Wintersday, or try to buy them.
Stop trying to screw up the system because you have an OCD achievement point problem.
It works as intended. It is your own problem that you think you need every last point. You’re mistaken.

Axe – Sigil of Bloodlust, Gain +10 Power each time you kill a foe. (Max 25 stacks; ends on down.)
Longbow – Sigil of Bloodlust, Gain +20 Power each time you kill a foe. (Max 25 stacks; ends on down.)
Here is where the idea of increased value out of two handers fails. On kill sigils don’t stack.
If you have two bloodlust sigils only one of them will buff you. Whether they’re the same or different only one of them will function. So if you gain increased benefit from sigils in a two hander you’re kind of getting kitten with on kill sigils because you can only have the one akittens base value.
I’d rather have two slots on two-handers to choose what I like.
I think they stated somewhere that the higher your account MF, the less frequent it drops from salvaging. Not sure what the curve is gonna look like though
.
Hmm, I don’t think that is the case. Then people can hoard them at the start and have them come rolling in untill they safely can pop them for a very high permanent Magic find boost.
It was either what I said, or it was that they start adding minimal amounts to the total MF (or you need x amount to increase it by 1%). Can’t remember where I read it. I thought it was here on the forums in a redpost.
X amount to increase it sounds right. And they can increase the variable the higher your %
Permanent addition. Pretty sure this has been explained.
My question is not what it will drop from, but the rate of that drop.
I think they stated somewhere that the higher your account MF, the less frequent it drops from salvaging. Not sure what the curve is gonna look like though
.
Also it has been stated that it is salvagable from fine and masterwork, but do you think it is also possible to get them from rares and exotics?
Don’t think they’ve stated where its fine and up, or only fine/masterwork (blues/greens). If it does drop from rares/exos, it better not replace the ecto chance. It should be a separate chance for each, ecto and essence of Luck.
My only fear is that once everyone/alot of people have high MF, and start getting a lot of rares/exos, won’t the price of them drop?
That’s actually a good point. Not the price dropping, I don’t care about that. But the quality. If MF increases your chance of getting rares and exotics I really hope they can’t be used to increase magic find. That would mean that the higher you get your magic find, along with a decreased drop rate, you also decrease the amount of things you can find that allow you to get it at all.

Lots of generalizations and assumptions there. Labeling people “casuals” and telling them how they play is a bit offensive.
This is grossly taken out of context; if you read the rest of the thread maybe you wouldn’t feel this way.
Also as far as I know it is possible every day to complete the daily achievement strictly in WvW so most of your post is invalid.
But as players are now saying, charged quartz will not be an issue so the original topic of this thread has been addressed.
I hope we’ve all learned something
Completely true, there are usually at least 3 WvW specific tasks, plus gathering, and there is usually at least one other task that can be completed without leaving the mists be it Kills, Variety, Veterans, Champions, Events…
Unfortunately there is no legitimate way to gauge that. The best they could do is give people who have MF gear at X time, in which case everyone would make as much MF gear as they can and buy as much as they can fill their bags with to get them.
That’s not ok.
Permanent addition. Pretty sure this has been explained.
My question is not what it will drop from, but the rate of that drop.

They mentioned that 2014 will not have a new gear tier introduced. This gives players ample time to create gear significant to design. I would bet that the only content that actually requires PvE ascended gear will be higher level fractals for a very long time. Casuals aren’t participating in that anyway.
Just because someone has time constraints doesn’t mean they don’t also participate in high end, hardcore content. It just means they have very little time to do it in. But since Fractals are designed to be short, they’re perfect for that situation.
So wait. It’s ok to have to trade a whole skill for another more useful skill just to get speed, but it’s not ok to trade a trait for the same effect? How does that make sense?
You’re supposed to feel like heavy chains dropped on you, because you’re in a fight. This is done to give the mobs a chance to kill you rather than just letting you blast past them without a care.
Your heal problem is a LTP situation. Classes don’t play the same, you need to learn how to take advantage of your class in order to play it best. Just giving all the classes the same basic skills doesn’t improve the game it makes it more generic and boring.
You seem to have a problem with this, but don’t presume to talk for other people. I certainly don’t. I don’t mind that my Guardian and Engineer are slower than my Warrior (who uses the trait) and Necromancer. I choose not to use my speed signet on either of my rangers. You obviously need to work harder on finding the class that best fits your preferred game play style, rather than trying to make them all play the same.

I think time gated gear is a great idea
What’s the weather like in Bizarro World?
Although I am also against, I can see how more casual players can agree with it. In a game that does not promote vertical progression yet trickles it out on rare occasion, it’s important for players to feel like they can engage in content at any time. This is one of the reasons the first Guild Wars was so successful. It’s also a reason that turns people away from traditional MMO models.
Time gating is a method that is respectful to individual players’ time. The downside is that players often feel unrewarded for time invested, which is why the game will offer more immediate rewards of the same quality (ascended gear being offered as drops and rings acquired from fractals). I’m only defending time gating because it seems to be the method we are going to have to live with.
Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that this game is financially dependent on a microtransaction shop. It’s vital to the survival of the game overall for players to log on regularly to perhaps spend money in that shop, and time gating ensures that people actually spend time in the game. I’m grateful that the game doesn’t have a subscription, and I wind up spending significantly more than the standard 15$/mo in the gem shop.
But more on topic, I’m glad to see that people support time gating, even though I and many other players do not. Seeing players in support of time gated content shows that the game has devoted players that plan on being around a long time.
I don’t think it shows anything more than people being happy the other people will be forcibly slowed down to their speed.
Actually neither of these is true. The most reasonable representation of what a casual is, is someone who doesn’t have the time necessary to play consistently or regularly or often. Basically someone with time constraints. Time gating, therefore, can hurt casuals even more than others because if they have an hour to play and they don’t use a portion of that how to do the thing they can only do once a day, they just lost that day for that thing. So while it slows down people without time constraints it can potentially cripple those with them.
The people who are happy with this, or at least don’t mind it, are those like me who just don’t care about it in the first place. Some day I’ll go to the effort of making one of these, if it takes me a month, then it takes me a month, not a big deal. It doesn’t hurt me to not have it immediately, therefore I’m content to let it take a while to complete.
I will say, though, that if Ascended gear requires quartz I’ll be happy I didn’t sell the ones I have. If it doesn’t I’ll be annoyed that I converted as many as I did to charged, cause I’ll never use them.
It would be great, but it will also not likely be something ANet commits to. The reason I say this, is the problem is the event zone out problem. If you zone before an event you participated in completes you don’t get credit for it. Disconnecting is the same as zoning out. Even if you came back before the event completed you still wouldn’t get credit unless you participated more in that time.
Now the reason I don’t think they have any intention of fixing this is the Moa Races in LA. They made it so that you physically can’t leave LA if you bet on a race, to ensure that you will be there when the race finishes. At this point would have been the ideal time to implement a way to save progress in an event to ensure that you get credit when the even completes even if you left or crashed or whatever. Instead they just tried to prevent you from leaving.

It will be open for the month.
Whyyyyyy is your post not red-marked as an Anet dev?
That is SO cheating. I’m going to say because Josh responds to these more than any other Dev, though, so he is trying not to draw people into threads just because he happened to make some random comment.
I think this is worth dragging people into, though, since it is a confirmation.

Shouldn’t that be dungeon tokens for karma? Not karma for dungeon tokens.
Anyway, no, no it would not be a good idea in any way. The point of dungeon tokens is that you get them from doing dungeons and the result is getting the dungeon reward for that dungeon that you want.
Instead of getting some variable reward at the end of the dungeon you get tokens to define what you actually want to receive. This is a good system. Karma is received from everything. I currently have 2 million plus karma sitting around collecting dust with nothing to do with it. Just because it’s worthless, though, doesn’t mean I should be allowed to put it toward collecting something I haven’t earned.
They need to find uses for Karma, this, however, is not one of them.
Sorry, but contrary to the title, I don’t think either of these suggestions make any sense.
That would explain my AoE loot has been spotty at best. It never occurred to be that it might be a different key.
Actually, because of the change they’re making to consumable karma they probably won’t remove them. If they take away consumables and just give us karma directly that karma will probably be influenced by karma % again. By leaving them in consumable form they can ensure that a specific amount of karma is received each time.
On the same note I have no idea why they care. I’m sitting on over two million karma right now because I have absolutely nothing to do with it. I could not care less if I got full value, shorted or extra karma from any one sorce because it never gets used on anything anyway.
How do you define auto loot? For me Auto loot is what we already have. There is loot on the ground and you access it, rather than making you choose how much you want it just puts it all into your inventory automatically.
I tend to suspect we will never have a walk over loot and it is deposited into our inventory without interaction option. Though this option is totally a posibility. They just need to work with the SAB jewel function that allows us to get those blips in our inventory by walking over them.
And here is a tip. If your so kittened about this go play something else. When you play any other mmo you will know exactly what a gear treadmill is
gft
I, at least, read those things and know when I’m not the guy they’re looking for.
gw2lfg.com You can post your own group, with any description you want. Update every few minutes and it will generally fill. No matter the description.
There are even folks that specifically look for those all inclusive groups to join, pretty much everyone in this and other threads opposing /inspect for one example.
I’m guess you didn’t understand this line when I wrote it. I’m already well aware of that site and use it.
For the Fractal people, if you’re grinding to get Agony and Ascended for Fractals.. that’s your choice. You don’t need to do it.
I was with you up to here. Fractals is actually the deviation from the treadmill policy. But you’re still right, of course. Fractals were a concession to the people who actually want this. It was originally an experiment, but it was a successful one. It gave the people who wanted a treadmill, despite it being against the foundations of the game, a way to experience that, without interfering with anyone else.
So if you’re doing this because of Fractals you’re doing it because that’s what you actually want to do and enjoy. So you still have no place to complain.
It also had the effect of causing WvWvW becoming part of the Fractal Treadmill. Ascended should only have fractal resists on them if thats the point. The way ascended is implemented though, they become a NEEDED function for WvWvW, and something that you will always feel you need for PvE since you KNOW you’re not doing as well as you could be if you’re not using ascended.
No they don’t, you’re over stating the actual importance of a small stat boost.
Ever gone from rare to exotic weapon? The difference is immediatly noticable due to the weapon damage difference.
Difference between, say rings, amulets and trinkets is rather small because it’s only a small stat increase. But the weapons have the same stat increase + weapon damage. And that makes all the difference.
I’ve already pointed out my experience with upgrading. The difference is completely negligible and in no way noticeable. It makes no difference at all. You’re making mountains out of imaginary bumps.
Let’s put the gold to exchange ratio in 5g for 100gems (it was around 4 last time I checked), 5 transmutation crystals are 200 gems, so you’re basically paying 2g for each one (or 1.6 if you buy 800 gems and buy 25 crystals).
If tomorrow they were to delete the crystals from the store and add a vendor that offers them for 2g… what would be the difference? Or you just want a cheaper way to obtain them?
If you look at other high end items like this, though, they would probably be 5 silver per in an ingame vendor situation. So I think it’s the latter.
Any example? Just wondering since the only end-game item I’d really compare with a transmutation crystal are the skin rewards, which are usually priced at 5 to 10g + tokens.
Master Salvage Kit would be the best. It’s a high end consumable designed to get high end mats and rune/sigils out of gear. It’s under 2 gold for 25 uses.
Transmutation Crystals aren’t skins, they’re just a way to get high end stats onto the skin you want as long as you already have both pieces.
For the Fractal people, if you’re grinding to get Agony and Ascended for Fractals.. that’s your choice. You don’t need to do it.

For an idea you should look at the now dead game City of Heroes. It had Damage, Support, Control. One of the best support sets was Darkness. It was good because it disabled the mobs ability to actually hit thing. Mobs can’t hit things, group doesn’t get hurt, no healing needed.
The hilarious thing is, we already have a substantial amount of debuffing available to us… it’s just that they do basically nothing to bosses.
Pretty much yeah. Again CoH helps. Rather than giving bosses and better immunity what they did is made it so that you needed to stack effects for them to work. While a single stun would work on your typical mob it would take two simultaneous stuns to stop a boss. Each level up past boss would require twice the effects of the one previous. So an arch villain, the highest type could only be stopped with eight simultaneous effects.
Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure they would have to change how conditions work in this game for them to be able to implement something like that here. Since control effects stack duration it wouldn’t be possible to implement them simultaneously because the system doesn’t see it that way. The simple choice would be to half the duration, or quarter or eighth, but that wouldn’t answer anything either because the point of that system was to coordinate with other players. If you weren’t coordinated you couldn’t lock them down, period.
Let’s put the gold to exchange ratio in 5g for 100gems (it was around 4 last time I checked), 5 transmutation crystals are 200 gems, so you’re basically paying 2g for each one (or 1.6 if you buy 800 gems and buy 25 crystals).

I am excited about SAB coming, because devs only seem to be good at 8bit programming – there isn’t much stuff you can mess up!
Previous SAB was quite stable, while every rushed 2 week living story after has been buggy disaster, with the Queens Gauntlet being the peak of it. Now that they have realized they can’t make quality content and test it in 2 weeks, they have gone back to making cliché 8bit stuff.
So happy, now I might be able to do the content in day 1, not on day 7 after 20 quick fixes.
Yeah, that seems to be in any way legitimate and true.
/sarcasm
Anet said they wanted support control and damage right now its purely damage as seen from the video. Just watch it and don’t accuse me of trying to make this game like WoW. WoW isn’t the only game with a trinity Jesus people. I want to play a support ranger but I cant all I can do is put my hearing spring down and no one even cares they just continue to zerg the bosses. That isn’t engaging or fun. Every class should be able to take hits or help team mates. That isn’t a HOLY trinity where its just people clicking on the group tap spamming their heals.
Think of it as a moba where there are bruisers and there are supports.
You’re right, it’s not, but what you’re asking for in your suggestion IS the Holy Trinity.
Holy Trinity is Damage, Agro Control and Healing. What you asked for is, Toughness score causing increased change of the player being attacked. Toughness is damage resistance and you’re adding agro. That’s a Tank. You are then asking for more AoE healing. That’s pretty straight forward. Support isn’t just healing, not even just buffing. It’s also debuffing.
For an idea you should look at the now dead game City of Heroes. It had Damage, Support, Control. One of the best support sets was Darkness. It was good because it disabled the mobs ability to actually hit thing. Mobs can’t hit things, group doesn’t get hurt, no healing needed.

Actually, both of those things are, in a way, even more true with SAB. Ok, not painterly illustrated, but it is definitely stylized and handcrafted, in a way.
And I can definitely say I’ve never seen anything like that before. An 8-bit thing in a decidedly non-8-bit environment, that is.
In any event, I do actually agree. SAB should be in SAB. I should have to go into the game to experience the game, not just walk around the world.
Also, as for it’s desire. It has the benefit of being limited time recurring content. I honestly feel it wouldn’t be nearly as sought after if that weren’t the case. If it had never been shut down since April it would just be that thing in Rata Sum that was cool for a while, but now it’s dumb.
OMG, it’s not a treadmill. A gear treadmill means that you start with Gear X. You need to be fully done up in Gear X before you can even compete in content to get Gear Y. You need to keep at it until you fully done in Gear Y in order to have a chance at Gear Z. See that? You keep progressing forward using old gear to obtain new gear. That’s the treadmill.
You don’t have that here. You can just make the gear. You’ll get the mats from a variety of places, some of this don’t even involve content. You can do it in level 1 white armor and weapons and instantly jump to level 80 Ascended without ever being in a fight. That’s not a treadmill.
As for rares. Until recently I was running around primarily in sub 80 greens, I even had a blue. I was waiting until I could make my own exotics. Do you know what difference I saw in my gameplay when I jumped, in a single move, to full level 80 exotics? None, not a single bit of difference. The actual difference in stats between qualities is so insignificant as to have no legitimate effect on gameplay.
So no, you don’t need ascended anything. If you want it, then get it. If you think you need it and you also need your current appearance intact, then too bad, you have to pay for that.
I like how you are changing the meaning of things to suit your own needs.
Gear treadmill is increasing effectiveness of newer gears that are better than those before them.
You obviously have not been playing MMOs long enough if that watered down excuse for a definition is the one you use. There is a reason it’s called a treadmill, because you actually have to work at it. It doesn’t just get handed to you. It’s a pain and it’s boring and it just keeps going. This isn’t a treadmill. When you can just make it from nothing, with nothing, it’s not a treadmill, it’s just better gear. Better gear you don’t even actually need to compete.
I have a sneaking suspicion that SAB is going to be a let down like every other sequel in existence.
I don’t see how it could be a let down. The original was made by seven or eight people as a side project with no real support from ANet. It now has a full Living World update level of support and man power, but with the same direction. It can only get better.
I’ve never heard anyone complain about any of this but somehow SAB always sparks these kind of discussions. That is not to discredit anyone’s opinion, just me wondering why.
I think it’s the general disquiet people seem to get by the ever expanding influence of the Asura, a technologically advanced race in a technologically primitive setting.
People aren’t able to handle the concept of holograms and fusion reactors existing alongside swords and sorcery.
Guys really need to read the Dev Blogs more often. This has been covered.
This year was effectively an experiment to figure how to do the content they wanted to do. In the process they made their recurring events, Halloween, Wintersday, Super Adventure Box, Dragon Bash and the Queen’s Jubilee. Those five events will happen every year. They are temporary, but in a way permanent because you should be able to work on things in them every year. They’ll also be changing from year to year, certainly.
Now, this year we got very little legitimately permanent content. And for the rest of the year that isn’t going to change. It is scheduled to change next year though. The world is intended to start expanding next year, with the Living World bring about meaningful change to the game.
So calm down and let it be for a few more months. Then you can start getting annoyed if it continues to not do anything.
lol umad? I hope they have the boxes in pve again so when I can open them and fight all those little 8kittenaracters
(lol how is that a curse word??)
SAB is the best yo. Watchu talkin bout?!?!
The filter doesn’t care about spaces, it just sees bit followed by ch. Which is a legitimate curse.
As stated above – even though I try I always get people like this in my dungeons. I’m considering using the tag " elitist scum only " for my runs. Perhaps that might make it clearer.
I love this idea, but I know it won’t work because people are stupid. I, at least, read those things and know when I’m not the guy they’re looking for. It’s pretty obvious if you do or do not fit the mold, so I don’t know why or how anyone could get confused.
I think the main reason I seem to care so much is because I’m not willing to change my build for anyone, but I still want to complete some of these dungeons. I’m trying to push back, rather than give ground. It’s very hard to actually find a group for some dungeons/paths because they all read like a dating add for elitism. I’m hoping that if I fight the fight that maybe that can turn around and people who just want to do it for fun, not just reward oriented people will become more available and I can tick another one off my list.
The more ground, though, that is given to those who aren’t willing to compromise and who have no interest in my way of playing the harder it is to actually find that group.

Don’t forget MF isn’t just going away, leaving a hole behind. It’s being replaced with something. How about waiting to find out what that is before complaining about choices you made on your own, regardless of the reasoning behind them.
I’m looking for at least 4 consumables that show up on the UI. Also while your adding slots put in a minipet slot.
My human looks like Clint Eastwood. He is not a Ken doll. As for bodies, chubby is always an option. Mine is simply out of shape. Not quite moobs out of shape, but he definitely has no definition.
Yes, this should not have been abandoned. It is supposed to represent the unity of all the races and to abandon it in favor of some cheesy holoprojector is an insult to what Lion’s Arch is supposed to stand for.
