Support roles are weak and underpowered.

wrong,
support roles are required for most of the dungeons (except maybe COF1)
they are strong, usefull and allow “the mediocre glass cannon wannabe” to finish the dungeon.

There are no control roles.

true:
the CC in the game is inadequate by every parameter, by duration, by high CD of the skills and by the immunity of the opponents. this have to be changed in order to have good encounters in the future.

DAMAGE Warriors is about the only viable build.

wrong:
damage warriors were good only because of consumables abuse. it is fixed now.
they are very viable, but not the only viable build.
they also heavy depend on support classes for condition cleansing, and bring no utility to the group effort.

edit:
forgot the main topic… lol

dungeons are hard the first time for clueless unorganized group.
dungeons are hard for under geared glass cannons as they have no DPS and no survivability

the first time I did subject alpha, i though it is some cruel Anet joke , i wiped maybe seven times, people rage quit in chain until an experienced player joined and explained the fight.
today, by correct positioning and smart use of skills i can keep (as a support guardian) the whole party alive, and they don’t even have to dodge! just stay in one place and DPS

on any server.
1.) what made you choose and stay on the server you’re on?(guilds and friends aren’t a valid reason since transfers were free for four months)
low population, exactly what make us bad at WWW
2.) what will it take for the wvw players to get you into wvw?

its not the www players its the system. it feels as a zerg of individual lemmings running after a blue mark on the map. i know that in WWW oriented guilds its different, but for casual WWWer this is how it feels, also some morons in map chat who give stupid orders… also the badges drop less than 1 on 10 kills, silly. you get more badges jumping on rocks than from killing players or conquering a fort.
though taking a keep or defending tower is fun

3.) wvw benefits your dungeon runs, do you not agree that helping us get the buffs you benefit from is the right thing to do?
not enough reward for big effort
4.)is it the repair bill that scares you out?(i know pve players with upwards of 200g, so the fact that they’re scared of a 10s repair bill is confusing)
dungeon wipe repair bill is higher, so no
5.) why would a risen priestess of milandru be impressed with your Sunrise?
don’t have a legendary and probably never will
6.) to my GOM bros specifically, some of the PvE guilds on our server are upwards of 300+(and active), can you grasp how much of a difference just 1/10 of your guild members would make if they were active in wvw daily?

want more fodder on WWW maps? add t6 nodes spawns around towers that held for more than two hours, each defeated enemy player should reward 50% badge, not 10% badge, squad structure visible for ALL the squad not just the squad leader, organized “break out” event, how many time i went to WWW, and waited near the NPC for fifteen minutes stuck at 2/10 seeing dozens of players just passing by leaving the event inactive, etc…

EDIT:
you see only people who are a spit distance from you.
if enemy zerg is approaching, the only clue is the animations of dead critters (ambients) in the horizon…

agree,

“earth culturals” will be a good start
you can add for leather armor: the ninja armor and the musketeer armor

for light armor add Dumbledore/Gandalf/Merlin suits

for heavy armor add the Samuray battle suit and the “knight of the round table” battle suit..

also the weapons… (thief in ninja suit wakizashi and sai will be awesome… warrior as Samurai with Katana 100B…)

please Explain "Givers" prefix items to me

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: Lalangamena.3694

Lalangamena.3694

Hi all,

there are several item prefixes in the game
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Giver%27s#Triple_attribute

and they tend to stay constant through the items, for example, berserker armor will have power as a main stat and precision and critical damage as a secondary stat, on all gear pieces, and weapons. and it will have a complementary jewelry type that also has the same stats (power as a main stat and precision and critical damage as a secondary stat)

givers armor is different…
armor parts have toughness as main stat and healing power and boon duration as secondary stat.
givers weapons have condition duration as a main stat and precision / vitality as secondary stat

givers jewels (aka snowflake) give
healing as primary stat, then magic find (??? because this game just NEEDS more magic find items isn’t it?) and boon duration as secondary stat
http://www.gw2db.com/recipes/11635-snowflake-orichalcum-amulet

I would like to know what the devs were smoking (if this word offend you please read it as “thinking”) on that night when they decided to create this prefix and give the same name to three different sets of stats…

why cant they have the same stats? if it was intended to be the “classic healer” gear why not give all pieces healing power as main stat, toughness + boon duration as secondary stat?

my second problem with givers prefix is the stats percentage ratio.
- flat 1% boon duration on items? wait, what?
1% boon duration on chest, legs, shoulders etc, for a total of a whooping 6% boon duration for 1:37 ratio…
why it cant be like critical damage ratio?
5% on chest, 3% on legs, 2% on other armors, 5+3+2+2+2+2 =16.
16% boon duration is not more overpowered than 16% critical damage.

same goes with the jewelry…
if we take a whole givers armor and jewelry set that will scale as crit damage.
your total boon duration will be 48%. hardly OP.
if we will take the whole boon duration sources available it will be:

armor and jewelry 48% + runes 2*water 15% + 2*monk 15% +2*major w 10% + 30% from full trait line + Chocolate Omnomberry Cream 20% will give 138% boon duration. nice, but hardly OP if you consider that this character has absolutely no offensive capabilities. even by stacking perma 25 mights and protection. it will never be “flavor of the month” class…
and it will give the PVE healer enthusiasts something to play…

now we reached givers weapons.

yes, condition duration items are needed in order to cultivate any CC viable play… not just the current mindless crit damage zerg.
the current condition duration’s are too low , the CD is too high, and the bosses are immune to half and get only 10% duration from others…
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Unshakable

but even if these weapons were not completely bugged and give flat ZERO condition duration.
(see here: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Giver-s-10-Condition-Duration-doesn-t-work )
why 10% on all weapons? shouldn’t two handed weapons give double the bonus than one handed weapons? like 20% so a two handed weapon will have stats of two one handed like in ALL the other prefixes?
what, are we afraid that we can perma blind bosses with that? with what? (unshakable 10% of 20% is 2%… ) with 2% blind duration increase on bosses?

Lalangamena.3694

I play also a tanky shout “soldier” warrior, but I go 10/0/30/30/0

because the +12% damage on full adrenaline is not something you can easily pass for any content, also can swap it for death from above when I find myself in WWW or doing jumpies.

IMHO if you go into discipline, you must go at least 15 for the fast swap, or these are wasted points.
if you like the hammer, even 10 points in arms will be better for a sure crit on stunned foe.

EDIT:
I started knight armor and cleric accessories,
but switched the accessories to berzerker/cavalier because shouts heal 1150 without any HP and adrenal health which is the MAIN reliable source of healing, (i don’t know if it is a bug but it still working on dwanya statue in ORR when it said healing is blocked…)
is not affected by it at all.

so more damage just worked better for me…

One core flaw in my opinion

Lalangamena.3694

The OP title is " one core flaw"

then in his post he describes three…
which one IS the core flaw? I still don’t know.

point 1- is his personal opinion, i don’t share this sentiment, i like very much the new dailies.
point 2- yes , agree, I don’t like if they will make more gear thread mil,
if they introduce tier higher than ascended me (and maybe some other people) will look for a different game.
Is it THE core flaw?
nah
there is no subscription to GW2, so if from this change they will be able to sell more boxes, they are fine.

we can talk about it and discuss it even more. but this topic was discussed to death since when? November?

point 3
this is also not true.
the devs are always talking and communicating.
just read the latest four parts interview in gw2guru.
go to the devtracker in these forums.
there is a lot of info here, it just probably not what YOU want to hear.

most of the remaining five pages are just tantrums (‘nerf this class…’ and ‘buff this class….’ are just kindergarten level ), very little posts there are properly articulated and have opinion worth reading.

and i will remind you again…
you are not paying subscription…
just to set the perspective
dragon age cost me more than GW2 and I played it for much less than six months, and it has HUGE amount of bugs… even gamebreaking ones that you had to start all over…

the last patch and what they promised about the next big WWW patch (the Ides of March lol) GW2 tells me that they care about the game and it is going somewhere.

Back to the topic

what is the ONE CORE FLAW?
my unprofessional opinion is trying to get the balance between PVP and PVE at the same time, but failing on both…

in PVE, most of the content can be finished by all classes, but some classes can do it better and faster.
the old ‘warrior, guardian, mesmer’ vs all the rest classism..

in PVP, again: thief and mesmer are considered by the player base kings of PVP.

so Anet are trying to balance both, but for their hard work they receiving flack from both sides of the game.
if they state for example that from now on they will be balancing PVP only. and actually do this.
and although i might not like it, the amount of outrage in the forums will be reduced by half…

PvE Shield Warrior build ideas

in Warrior

Posted by: Lalangamena.3694

Lalangamena.3694

And what trait is that ? I’m not aware of any warrior trait that makes reflect on block.
In fact that was my suggestion to improve the skill.

Even if what you say is true, the recharges are still too long to make the shield viable. 16 sec and 24 secs and thats with the recharge reducing trait.

If you wanna go solo and have a very defensive build and still kill things, nothing beats a mace/sword.
You have an 8 sec recharge block/riposte with mace #2 (with recharge trait). You have a 15 sec recharge block/riposte that causes bleeding with sword #5. You have 12 sec recharge interrupt with mace #3 and finally, you have a decently lasting stun with the mace elite.

Any time I wanna be defensive, I carry mace/sword and it beats the hell out of any shield.

the trait is defense V named “missile deflection”
I wholeheartedly agree that mace offhand is superior to shield offhand but this was not the question, the question was if guardian shield is better than warrior shield…

EDIT:
both posters above me made me question the availability of the shield in this game…
feels like other offhands are just better in most of the situations, and shield is just for looks…

If you want to play a warrior with a shield you are out of luck. I would recommend you to play a guardian if you want to use a shield, effectively.

not only this is an exaggeration, this is also not true.

warrior shield skills are better for solo play and when traited properly (reflect on block) are superior to guardian shield.
skill 5 doesn’t root you in place.

EDIT, to the OP.
play what you feel like.
mace/shield = tanky set
mace/mace= double control set
axe/mace = dps/control
axe/warhorn -DPS mobility
axe/shield= dps with block
sword/shield = double mobility
sword/warhorn = double mobility

Lalangamena.3694

you didn’t read the post i suggested, but i will try to answer your concerns anyway.

1- you want 20-30 % crit buffed (consumables, sigils etc)
not for offence but to proc vigor and might from “empowering might” traits, both steady sours of altruistic healing and both are very efficient group support. (more vigor= more dodge== more healing)
the extra damage is just the icing on the cake.
if your goal is DPS, maybe 0/15/30/20/5 build will suit you more.

2- go 30,30,10 get boon duration from runes.
I tried both builds, and in my opinion AH and absolute resolution together are redundant.
take pure of voice, it is very nice since the last patch. also take retributive armor instead of purity.

3- symbols enlargement or length are mostly useless, due to the mobility of the fight center.
except for mace face tanking, which is possible in dungeons but not in fractals.
superior aria is a must for support guardian.

Does anyone know a good PTV build? I don’t really care what weapons are used, but I want to be a little more tanky in the game but still do a significant amount of damage. I currently run a berserkers great sword/staff build, but it is getting old and i want a change of pace, without starting completely over. Can anyone help out a little, like a link, or possibly if they run the same build?

Shard hi,

if you’re asking for a PVT build because you saved karma and it is easy for you to get it,
I would suggest get the PVT armor and magi/cavalier accessories.
knight or berserker weapons.
the armor will give you the power, the magi will give you precision, cavalier will give toughness and crit damage.

go for the standard f1 spam 0/15/30/20/5 build with AH and retributive armor.
you will be able to tank and do medium damage with high crit spikes.

no idea why you defend these runes…
take boon duration (standard 2*water+2*monk+2major water ) and use hold the line, more protection and regen anytime, not just when you hit 50% . (60 seconds internal CD is total b.u.i.l.kitten)
also your mights will stick longer..

sigil of superior air is no good, take superior fire, same chance, same damage but AOE.

two traits that you spend on the silly hammer are waste IMHO, either go spirit weapons all the way, or swap for better traits.

if you still want this build, drop zeal to 15.
raise radiance to 15 (going into radiance and stop on 10 never reach 15 is crime punishable by public humiliation…) f1 spam for offencive build is so OP i’am still puzzled why it wasn’t nerfed with the omnom pie…

change purity for retributive armor as meditations have active condition removal and swap virtues 10 as needed, don’t be fixated on spirit weapons, consecration trait is good with WoR and 25% retaliation is good with stand your ground or save yourselves, unscratched contender is AWESOME in ranged fights with scepter… 20% more damage just for running around and occasional dodging..

I just think it will be more efficient to swap armors and accessories,
armor go knight (more toughness) and accessories berserkers (more crit damage on them).

also, if you are going shouts, i believe that soldier runes have the edge over boon duration. as you can already stack might’s and fury without them, but conditions are the scourge of the warrior and you remove them very easily with soldier runes.

Sure, run with greatsword, spam 1, 2, 3, endure pain, shouts and V key (dodge).

I’m NOT b*tthurt because they nerfed consumable. I AM b*tthurt because they are not doing a proper balance & fixes to warriors to make more builds useful.

no need to run GS,
axe/mace build is very viable, even with the pie balance.
http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/75020-my-final-axemace-dps-dungeon-build/

for pvp you still can use the mace/mace +hammer control build.

rifle (killshot…) build still viable
plenty builds are still viable…

actually warriors have more viable builds than other classes…

you can have two types of support warrior, shouts or banners
that can have tanking variation with mace/shield or DPS variation like sonic boon build.

you can have good ranged build with rifle,
you can have several DPS builds, GS, axe/mace, etc
you can have control build with mace/mace or hammer…

the elementalists that people on these forums like to compare warrior to, have only two viable builds, the bunker/cantrip build and the auramancer build, that’s it…

to say that they have more builds is to say that warrior can go condition build with sword/warhorn and be good …

what i am trying to say, is that every class has its problems, if you think that some class is terribly OP, just play it and see that it has its own weaknesses…

also,

I read the forums and I cant believe I am playing the same class as the posters…
one small balance of obviously overpowered consumable abuse…
and the whine is over nine thousand…

the pie is still good, instead of healing 20K HP in one AOE, it now like second regeneration… 325HP per second, as it was intended to be….

warriors are fine, all glass cannons builds that had huge damage output and imba survivability due to this consumable abuse got balanced.

catering to your tiny “Guild” would be unfair to all the larger guild that actually put the work and time into recruiting the dozens/hundreds of members they have, your not asking for things to be fair, your asking for the game to cater to your special needs and ignoring everyone elses work because your to lazy to work for any of your gear.

in that case, its unfair that i don’t have all my condition damage set, because i don’t like any of the dungeons that can give me the equipment i need, and i dont like gathering materials or gold to earn them. boo hoo.

it is impossible to finish it “the proper” way, the only way that works is stack all party members on the boss (preferably in corner) and zerg him fast before he can activate his abilities many times.

this way he goes down quickly.

I think his ridiculous AOE attacks should be toned down, either on damage or on frequency.
and on other hand he should get hard melee strike with knockback that will not allow the centered zerging…

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Lalangamena.3694

there are some games that have found a good solution for skipping,
for example in DDO (game that i think implement lots of positive MMO features that can be learned by Anet developers)

when you are in the dungeon, you have counters, kill counter, boss counter and chest counter etc..

for each threshold of the counter, the group get bonus.
got 50% of the kills? get 5% xp and reward bonus, got 75% of the kills? get 10% xp and reward bonus, got 100% of the kills? get 15% xp and reward bonus

the same with bosses , chests (in DDO there are hidden chests in dungeons) and traps (in ddo rogues can disable the traps that in the dungeon) etc
so people who want to run speed runs, can, but people who like to complete whole dungeons with max kills and max bosses are rewarded also.

you can easily reach 100% xp and reward bonus if you kill all enemies, all bosses, found all traps and got all chests…

it is easily implemented, and the reward can be in dungeon tokens also, so people will do the whole content because it will be more rewarding.

Ahoy the mates.

This post is not meant to be a flame or whatever.

Its only a small feedback.

I like it that Arena.net trying to find ther own mmorpg way and make something unique. But I realy miss the classic healer and tank class in this game.
I am playing anyways to 95%+ only in the WvW, but that ther arnt any realy tank (taunt) or healer class in this game is the main resson why I dont go on dungeon runs or PvE raids.

just my 2 cents
(sorry about my bad english)

you can run classic healer, six easy steps.

step1- roll guardian
step2- level it to 80
step3- get mix of cleric/magi armor and accesories
step4- get cleric staff, cleric mace, cleric shield
step5- spec into 0/0/10+/30/10+
step6- get boon duration runes.

step1- roll elementalist
step2- level it to 80
step3- get mix of cleric/magi armor and accesories
step4- get cleric staff,
step5- spec into 0/10/0/30/30
step6- get boon duration runes.

there is also a healer engineer build available, never tried though.

you can run classic tank:

step1- roll guardian
step2- level it to 80
step3- get mix of knight/soldier armor and accesories
step4- get knight GS , knight mace, knight shield
step5- spec into 0/?/30/20/?
step6- get soldier runes.

step1- roll warrior
step2- level it to 80
step3- get mix of knight/soldier armor and accessories
step4- get knight sword , knight mace, knight shield, knight warhorn and ranged (bow or rifle).
step5- spec into ?/0/30/30/?
step6- get soldier runes.

the beauty of this game, is that you can, but you don’t have to.

if we are talking about the slave driver boss, then the ONLY way you could suck is that if you attack the stupid effigy instead of the slave driver.

if this was the case, yes your fault.

in all other scenarios it is very hard to call a guardian a “bad” because even if you stand in the corner and just spam “hold the line” and “retreat” on CD attacking nothing, you already did your part.
if you used your staff and also spammed empower as soon as possible, then you contributed to the fight more than anybody else.

so, it is hard to tell because we don’t exactly know how the fight went.

Toughness make much of a difference?

in Guardian

Posted by: Lalangamena.3694

Lalangamena.3694

the difference between 2500 and 3000 armor against opponent with 3000 attack is 20% damage.

which is huge…

very simplified formula: damage= (opponent attack/your defense )*weapon damage

simplified example: enemy attack=3000, weapon damage is 1000 crit damage =1.8 (150%+30%)

in 3000 armor you will receive 3000/3000*1000=1000 damage or 1800 on crit
in 2500 armor you will receive 2500/3000*1000=1200 damage or 2160 on crit

the higher is your opponent attack compared to your armor, the more damage you will get.

64% critchance (with fury 100% uptime)
64% crit damage
18k health
I could easily convert 4% crit chance into more vitality and more crit power if neccessary, i have no valkyries in my build.

No im not talking about his build. im talking about tanking in general in this game and the 0/0/30/20/20 build i use. .

….

I come to these forums to learn, and I would like to learn how can one reach 64% crit and 64% crit damage and 100% protection uptime on a guardian with 0/0/30/20/20 at the same time wearing soldier gear? (18K HP possible only with soldier gear, but then I fail to understand how can you get more than between 5% and 9% crit rate…)

even on full berserker gear we reach only 32% crit rate (though 72% crit damage)

empty build with zerker gear and 0/0/30/20/20 traits (no runes and sigils)
http://gw2buildcraft.com/calculator/guardian/?3|1.1g.0|0.0.0.0.0.0|1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1g.0|1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1g.0.1c.0|0.0.u000.k00.k00|0.0|e

I don’t consider having a warrior friend to grant you fury and might as a part of any build…

EDIT:
if you’re talking about different build, like radiance+valor build with AH for some mitigation, then ok, but your numbers are still off…

you just posted a list of failed games and ask why GW2 don’t use same fail ideas?

we don’t play “decorate interior” MMO… you have SIMS for that…

nobody need player housing.
nobody.
no.

we better have guild halls, guild castles , guild airships…

My Progress With Tanking So Far

I use the same build, 0/0/20/30/20
I have two sets of armor, soldier and cleric and two and a half sets of accessories, knight, cleric and ascended soldier.

you can facetank most of the dungeon bosses. (last boss cof story for example is impossible due to encounter mechanics etc, the rifle boss from CM , etc)
you can facetank almost none of the fractals encounters (even under 20)
some fractal bosses (grawl shaman before he jumps ) are impossible to facetank as he instakills you if you’re still close after the knockout.
some bosses require insane amounts of condition removals (chill, weakness, cripple etc), so you become ineffective and lose aggro. etc, etc.

some fractal non-boss encounters are impossible to facetank at high levels like the big fire svanir at the beginning of the frost fractal.

but, it is possible to keep aggro on bosses.
if you start the encounter and other players give you 2-3 seconds to whack on boss before they start fooling around. (like traditional MMO tanking)
if you block or revive (all bosses hate that)
if you have high toughness and low vitality (like guardians have)

best (not face…) tanking set is scepter / focus. as you can keep aggro and kite the boss without getting hit.

Quick question

all channeled skills are adding up the numbers to confuse you,

so each time you see this:
300,600,900,1200, 1500. your total damage is the LAST number.
that means you did overall 1500 damage and not 4500.

when you see this:
200, 220, 180, 200, 194 – these are individual hits like GS1 chain. your total damage is the sum of all numbers

it is also easy to know by the tooltip.

if you see in the tooltip something like that: damage (8x) 1500 that means you channel eight hits of a total sum 1500 (ofc modified by opponents armor, your crits etc…)
if you see “strike” 250 then it is a single hit.

on warrior HB tooltip you see:
damage (8x) 1500
final strike damage 300

that means you channel 8 hits of total 1500 (i.e. 8 hits of 187) and then one big hit of 300.

disclaimer:
the numbers that I used are for example only and they are not the “real” numbers on lvl 80 char etc…

Offensive Sword and Shield Build

I like very much these “think out of the box” builds and sick of 100b GS spamming masses…

i am kind of puzzled at the following points:
why 30 points in strength and taking physical training only for single bull rush?
you said that you don’t use flurry, and then walk away from another constant 12% damage in favor of some occasional confusion only when you shield bash once in 20 seconds…

I think (might be wrong, as this is on paper and not tested) that going deeper in arms tree will bring you more DPS

something like this 20/25/25/0/0
restorative str, berserkers power
deep cuts, opportunist/blademaster (depend if you use flurry and gain fury but lose regen and 12% damage or always keep adrenaline and stay with flat 10% crit with sword)
missile deflection, shield master.

you lose 100 power from strength tree but gain 10% damage via attack of opportunity. gain and better crit chance (which means more bleeds and more damage)
gain 150 condition damage

you can build your warrior balanced to absorb a lot of damage and still deal a lot DPS
on my warrior i got following stats . ( i regen 360 hp /second cause healing signet /adrenal heal) and i restroe 352 hp/crit/target food 450 from sigil (2 sec CD).
Critical chance also go over 48 % with food/ 68 % with furry.
I can pull hb over 20k damage on low defence on wvwvw.
but since you sayed he used axe +axe is very posible that you got hit by an eviscerate by 12k
damage or even more since your gear is not full exotic

what armor is this?
please don’t say human cultural or my colrabi will cry…

why artificially looking for hard mode?
want one? find two other people who think like you and run the same dungeon/fractal as a trio.
then as duo, then solo it.

It sounds awesome, will def try it out once I hit 80. And Lalangamena, obviously I don’t have much experience at guard since I’m a lower level, but correct me if Im wrong hitting for 3k per mighty blast sounds like pretty good dps.

Right now in WvW I hit for like 300

a) 3K for mighty blast on crit is not that high, if he could reach these numbers on hammer swing, that’s a different story.
also the build he linked has 9% crit, (29 with save yourselves) so you will crit once or twice in ten hits…
b) my suggestion takes his AH over-healing and makes it party wide healing, his attack/crit stays the same, so if he could crit 3K on the original build it will be the same for my suggestion.

for solo running or www the “standard” AH/meditations 0/15/30/20/5 is a better build, in DPS and versatility and it has almost the same minimal group support.
for group content 0/0/20/30/20 or ‘healway’ 0/0/10/30/30 provides better group support, while conserving the same DPS.
that’s it.

:)

the second build is what i like.
superior rune of earth was my mistake also. replace it for 2*major water, or major monk or major sanctuary for another 10% boon duration (10% all boons>>> 20% protection)
also, since mace/shield is face-tanking set from my experience it is better to have writ of the merciful instead of writ of persistence.

Kracin hi,

apologize for the criticism… (but this is what these forums are for…)
as an altruistic build, this build lacks DPS. (medium attack and low crit)
as a group support build, it lacks either battle presence or pure of voice and you over- heal yourself most of the time between AH And dodges with such high healing power.
it is a “safe” build for beginners.

I sincerely think that if you take your build, same armor, same runes, same game play same everything etc
but change the build to 0/0/20/30/20 and take battle presence. you will be more efficient in group content, you will tick for more than 200HP for each of your party members- its like second regeneration. for what you lose in AH self healing you still have your mighty dodges.

p.s. retaliation is not DPS, its extra something to make you feel good when you get smacked by mobs.

Not your usual question.

Become a member of a fitness club ( or whatever they’re called ). Or take up any kind of physical activity, sport, anything. Not because you should get in shape or something, but because your body and mind will be grateful. You’ll start feeling better and more confident. And in turn other people will see you differently.
A good run around the park can do wonders, it doesn’t cost you anything and it takes an hour out of your day at most. But it’s a long term thing so don’t go once or twice and then quit. Find a “lap” and stick to it, push yourself and mark your results so you can check your progress.
And most importantly, when you’re feeling really really lazy and tired for anything because of the weather or whatever excuse you think of at the moment, that’s the perfect time to go for a run. If you don’t feel better after, i’ll give you my address so you can come and punch me in the face.

this one, except punch in the face

women (like all people) find confidence an attractive trait, playing video-games is nice but doesn’t build you much confidence , going to the gym and work out actually gives you plenty. (why? it just will, trust us on this issue, its all about dopamine and serotonin release )

barrels are hard in uncoordinated pug, (it took me and a half french half polish pug five times to try to put the barrels because people refused to speak English… but even we made it eventually) but very easy in people who communicate with each other, it is trivial if you have shadow refuge thief with you.

the last boss (necro) is obnoxious, mainly due his more than 1200 range AOE and his
‘mist form’ invulnerability phases
but basically this is an attrition fight, just jump around, dodge red circles and eventually his HP will reach zero.
(at least this is the tactics we used ^^ if there is a better one I would love to hear/read it)

what bugs me the most in CM is the insane amount of silver mobs that jump on you out of no where…

there is ‘almost’ no skill that drop aggro.

buy ~100 spy kits and if you quick enough you can drop aggro,
also don’t start the fight and reviving seems to draw insane aggro.
