Jaya Voska is an Asura genius. She’s a master elementalist and has traversed every nook of Tyria solo. She was also named the fashion savant, as her style cannot even be explained by the smartest of Asura. It’s too perfect.

She is of the college of Synergetics, and has a major crush on the Asura thief Twitchh, (his fashion might even be as good as her own) and she has a complex about her ears, which led her to receive ear augmentation surgery.

The reason I reply is firstly to educate people on realising that stacking is both not an issue and that if it’s such a major issue they can make no stack lfgs. Secondly, so that if there is an anet reading that they don’t take the OP seriously because they’re whining about a non issue. I don’t really care about the argument you and colesy are having, but it is extremely presumptuous to put “/thread” in a thread where you have actually not put any suggestion or discussion related to the OP.

Lets stick to the OP: collisions in game rather than collisions of polar opposite personalities.

I would not mind collision for players (as long as it wasn’t like, my weapon attack gets blocked because someone in my party is in between myself and the boss). If its only use is to make it so a party cannot stand on a single pixel or something, sure. But I don’t think a group being in melee altogether is a thing that should be discouraged.

Do I think stacking is a problem? No, not at all. And I also think that while a vocal minority keeps crying about it, the player base at large is not okay with making dungeons and other pve content more “difficult”. The issue at hand is that.. well. Let us be really honest here and count in our heads the amount of pugs who still fail the most basic of dungeon strategies with stacking. Hint: it’s most of them.

I have a feeling people are more excited about the other weapon skins so they are just focusing on getting those since imo they look better.

I reset it and it worked fine. I think the bug happened because he knocked me off and I got downed. I self rallied after a while and when I went up it was bugged.

While trying to defeat Aerin (the last part) after dying a couple times and continuing, the sun aspects don’t work to get him out of his bubble. Basically, You either go right through it, or if you force stop yourself in the middle of the bubble, it kicks you right out of it as though you walked into it.

This is EXTREMELY frustrating as I wasted 30 minutes of my time on a story instance I couldn’t finish.

Please fix.

Azura ranger feels like it would fit – I can imagine one of them being in to fossils and figuring out how to recalibrate the aethervolt flux matrix of their <fill in weapon here> to take advantage of one. Or a sylvari guardian/warrior/ranger with a big weapon, to show it off better and have a strength-of-nature feel – plus it seems like it might go nicely with autumn colours.

Edit: and an unrelated question – is it possible to change the lip colour of characters during creation? I’ve tried making human females with mid to dark skin tones, but they ended up looking like they were wearing pale pink lipstick. This was not the look I was going for.

There’s a new face that gives red lips. It’s pretty sexy.

If I played more, I’d be happy to try a tour out (I personally dislike Arah myself) but as I am too busy to play that much, good luck and if you ever see me online and need an extra, I’d be happy to join if I am free. Though when I do get time I generally prefer fractals. Still, dungeons are fungeons!

I understand you’re not happy with the responses but let’s try and be a little more civil and logical here.

You say, “We are both in very good speed clearing guilds but we cannot get a group for speed running reliably.” I think what Tree is trying to point out is that this statement appears to be an oxymoron.

Is it just that you play at a different time than your guild? Is it that your guilds have groups that are already pretty much set so joining them is not an option? Or do you not trust the members of your guild to perform at a level you would like them to?

I think this is what is confusing about this thread. But also the animosity. They tried to help with the guilds thing. If that’s not an option it’s okay.

No… not broken. But I’m remembering the days when people used to complain about precursors and (maybe it was Vol? Maybe someone else sorry Vol if it wasn’t you ^^) people would say “just buy Venom”. I followed that advice and have it as my trident on my main, but realized the other day that my once 10g trident is like… 100. Whoa! Vol was actually trying to get everyone to invest in a really excellent item!

RoyalPredator, I’m looking for a tree elf look for my Sylvari Mesmer (female). It does not at all need to be leafy, but a goal of mine is to make it look more like a medium armored character (almost as though she was NOT a dainty princess). I have all gem store armors so all of those are fair game, and I have access to most other armors.

I’m sure this has been said like 100 times already, but if your class doesn’t have a block/invuln, then stay in melee range the whole fight. Not only will you do more damage (thus making the fight end sooner) but she will never target you with the teleport. A win-win!

If you’re worried about all the other attacks, good news, dodging mitigates 100% of that damage.

Come back again when you dodge her pistol attack 100%. I also never mention anything about dodging because all classes can do that.

This fight requires you to have a block or invulnerbility skill. When a profession doesn’t have access to something require for the fight mechanic then it’s flawed. Both the profession and the fight mechanics. Every other profession has a way to block it, but the necromancer has to take the damage. How is that fair?

It isn’t fair. But if you have an ele, a necro can ask for an earth shield.

Necros need that yes. But honestly… there could be a worse balance issue.

It could be all but one class was useless at a particular fractal (cough dredge thief prepatch cough)

Maybe it was the stealth? As long as there was another viable target on the ground like in Lilith’s case, the cannoneers would cheerfully try to blow that one to pieces, but once that disappeared, they nuked the safespot?
Might happen as well maybe if the single runner gets killed.

That would fit to what Spoj said about everybody needing to get there at once during tha phase transition or the safe spot won’t be very safe either.

Just a thought experiment on my behalf though, I’ve never used that safe spot technique, so I have no actual empiric data to confirm this.

One time on that same run I missed the portal due to lag and ate cannons. No one was running the phase but I was dead where the portal was. As Spoj says. Carry on.

Weth, I’d like to say I would love to help with gw2dungeons but I’m just not confident enough in my guide writing ability. If you’d like a guide on how 2 casual, I can do that lol.

The only classes I’ve seen it on is Elementalist for wvw and I think one guardian I knew used it. But I think typically ele uses it. I’ve never seen a thief use it, but it sounds interesting anyway.

People are under the false impression that they have the highest dps and group support. But it’s also because they’re very easy to play (for most… I can’t get past how boring it is though)

Assuming they have the same drop rate, consider how many people open black lion chests vs how many were opening gauntlet chances (including how numerous those were). I’m not saying whether it drops or not but I had to point that out as it is a factor to consider.

I suppose that’s a factor but the difference is.. well not everyone did the gauntlet (like I didn’t). Not everyone buys keys. But everyone gets them for personal story stuff and map completion occasionally. Plus key farmers. I think that if they existed in the black lion chests we would see a few pop up every week or month even. But we aren’t seeing that.
