It’ll work just like any consumable. My guess is that it’ll be like the harpy love potion and will display as a buff lasting only 5 min.

I just think it would be nice to know what the item is before I waste time on it… And I think that’s what the OP is asking for… I wish it had a description in it (permanent, endless (so has a duration but you can “turn it on”) etc. it’s kind of strange that they wouldn’t explain the item, because what happens to the first person who grinds for it, gets it, figures it all out, and then sees like, it’s not permanent, it sucks and isn’t worth it.

Anyway, information from a dev would be cool!

I just want so many of these… All of the colors are awesome, but I think I want to red one first but I’ll have to level leather worker first, because there’s no way I’m using damask instead of leather.

• Fractal relics for an ascended back piece (to gear a well-loved alt for sub-31 level fractal) or obsidian shards for a legendary weapons?
• Time is a limit factor.

Obsidian shards…. Because only other methods are either time gated or karma gated, and Karmas a dirty rotten cat.

Oh dear lord, that pvp_bank script is still rampant.

Anyway, I’m not sure where exactly, but I’m fairly sure they are karma weapons in ascalon. Maybe, anyway

I have an excess amount of cows and chickens and I choose to slaughter them with my fists so that they try to run and it’s an actual challenge to kill them. (It makes me feel like I’m pretending to be a pvt staff guard and giving those bad cows a chance to survive because I’m kind)

Maybe that’s why they do it….

I’d love to have legendary armor that gave my characters the juggernaut effect without having the hammer. It sucks for all light and medium armors not being able to be shiny!

But then I think I’d still want rainbows coming out of my every orifice instead. (Because bifrost and dreamer just aren’t enough and can’t be used on one character )

I don’t understand why people aren’t doing dungeons in RP walk. I mean, it is what the devs intended, and I know this because the dungeon NPCs movement. I keep getting kicked from groups for doing it, and I don’t know why!

Ah, the way the aggro range works, sub-80 can pull aggro from miles and miles away. That’s how Spoj had a really bad time trying to skip trash mobs in Arah. I just wonder what experience you have had.

Ooooh. I don’t know. I just stood at the nearest wp, didn’t go anywhere. I was able to dodge a bunch of risen at that one wp where you spawn and they immediately aggro, but I always managed to get away.

Sure, some things are better off merged, but I think their point is that when your thread is merged, because of the terrible forum tech it’s very hard to even see your own posts, thread, responses. It gets muddied and it’s like you never posted anything. They should improve the tech. I think that’s a given.

And occasionally I think it would be better to have more explanations on why something happens. Simply “moderated” just seems so lazy, and something one of my students might write in their daily journal logs.

Anyway, long story short, we need better forum tech!

I got a whole guild of people that RP in dungeons…

I tend to do it all. Fast runs, Full clear runs, either way, I enjoy it. I would love to do more “fast/technical” runs. but my timetable for being able to play is slightly off from the rest of the world it seems, Pity.

I don’t get as much playtime as I would like, either, but when I have time, it’s dungeon time. RP walking is fun in cof, as my warrior gives 0 cats because nothing can hurt her.
We stack, and we start out in our town clothes. So since we are all female humans (my normal cof group, anyway) we look great in our hot pants and bunny ears (and quite friendly as well) before knocking the kitties out of bosses.

For a male, I always adore the t3 cultural armor! Also, the CoE set is really nicely detailed (on the leggings, I like the pattern) if you want something a little frilly though, twilight arbor armor looks simply fabulous on any Asura, even if it looks a little princess-y.

While both fractals and Dungeons are 5 man instances, I don’t think they are nearly the same thing. Lets try a focused CDI topic (just for the variety ) and maybe swing around to a Dungeons-only thread were we don’t have two entirely separate rewards schemes muddying the waters?

I agree with Nike here, despite being an avid dungeoneer AND fractal runner. I think having a more specific topic will be better for all of us, and especially Chris.

I don’t care whether you think people can “play how they want” because that’s what we have been saying to begin with (and something that only the silliest people seem to disagree with). I care about how you implied that your way is better and that we are acting like mindless gamblers just rushing through the stuff so we can get virtual objects. That is what I found offensive. Your bolded section means nothing.

@Kanto, your last paragraph is perhaps the most haughty and elitist I’ve ever seen. Like you’re better than anyone who plays to see as much content and experience as many events a day as they can is a bad person. If my options are, play for 15 minutes and do something as much fun as I can, I’d like to do a speed run of such and such dungeon, rather than not play at all. You seem to think we aren’t finding this fun, or that you are somehow better than those of us who do.

Get off your high horse, and see that you aren’t the standard we should be holding ourselves to, just because you think it’s best.
