For people with an inclination to spend money, a Naga could solve all these problems… Could.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
All achievements are account-wide, so you can do them using any character. On a related note, achievement rewards can also be shared between characters.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
All sigils share the same internal cooldown, so if an on crit sigil procs and recharges for say, 5 seconds, your on swap sigil will not trigger within this 5 second window.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
It has to be crafted as a pearl weapon, except you need the specific recipe for it from the TP (they no longer drop). For the celestial inscription, you need 5 charged quartz crystals, so that will take you 5 days.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Let’s give him the benefit of doubt, shall we? Although I won’t deny I have an urge to cause trouble… but hey, I’m human.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I didn’t fork out a single cent for this game save for the box copy, and I don’t have any issues with making gold. Like Penguin said, it’s a l2p thing, you haven’t given yourself enough time to really explore this game, have you?
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Transmute it to a white or blue sword to make it account bound, then use a transmutation splitter.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Black Lion kits are guaranteed to return any upgrades from salvaged items.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Stealth only makes one invisible to a player’s eyes, it doesn’t render them invisible to the game engine. Life Transfer will hit targets in stealth if they are in range.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Flesh Golem is the best elite for PvE, partly because it’s easy to force an enemy against a wall and ram them with the golem sequence skill. Your mobility issue can be partly solved by using the Locust Signet, or if you need a stun breaker instead, Spectral Walk.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I made Sunrise two days ago, and well, now I have a heavy debt that’s keeping me in here, along with friends to fund.
So yeah, I’m sticking around for a while
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Well, if it helps, salvaging 113 ectos using only bl kits got me 256 dust and 12140 total luck.
I’m sure someone can provide you with far larger numbers, and I do remember a thread somewhere that does…
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
My guess is that these two maps are the most popular because they are on the extreme ends of the level line (1-17 for Queensdale and 70-80 for Frostgorge). Frostgorge also lacks the annoying Risen present in Orr, which makes it substantially easier to navigate.
It could also have something to do with the champs in these two maps being close to waypoints, but I’m just guessing.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Nope, only back items.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Why don’t you just disable autoattack…
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I think it’s related to the next update, there was a teaser pic on Facebook.
Here it is:
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Sounds like an elementalist to me. D/D specifically.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Just explore. Or join a WvW karma train.
Most importantly, have patience and a will to succeed.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Poison would be pretty handy right about now(fighting the Skeletal Lich) unfortunately nobody is applying that. Boon stripping too …
Well, if you’re zerging it, there’s bound to be several people present who will repeatedly stack poison without even knowing what it really does. Boon stripping can be accomplished by sword mesmers using their auto attack.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Lesson learned: always claim your rewards instead of waiting so long to open them all, it’s not going to increase your rewards any further if you wait.
Chests in this game don’t bite, unlike in some other games.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Condition builds will fare worse than power builds in PvE because there is a limit to how many stacks of bleed and torment you can apply, while poison is horrible against monsters because most don’t heal (which defeats the purpose of poison) and it does mediocre damage at best. Power builds on the other hand do not have a cap and are not overly reliant on duration like condition damage is.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
If you infuse it as it is now, it will produce an infused quiver because the quiver is the base item, whereas the shell is just a skin in this case.
So yes, split them before you infuse, you can retransmute the shell afterwards or upgrade it to ascended.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Try to spawn as many clones as possible before you heal if you’re using Ether Feast, it makes a large difference if you have all 3 clones out.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Both will work, however if one procs, both will go on cooldown.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
It procs on any crit you do, and for bloodlust you only need to have the weapon active when the kill occurs.

The great thing about greatswords (no pun intended) is that they are great for kiting, and can easily tear through groups of mobs in the hands of a skilled mesmer. You have an auto attack that hits up to 1200 units that isn’t a projectile, 2 is an unblockable projectile that bounces and gives might to allies it bounces off of while spawning a clone on the first enemy it hits, 3 is a small AoE that rips a boon off struck enemies while dealing respectable damage, 4 is possibly one of the most dangerous mesmer skills (it’s specially designed to punish moving targets) and 5 is an extremely reliable knockback that can quickly widen the gap between you and a group of mobs.
So yes, greatsword is your best friend when kiting. It doesn’t deal as much damage as a sword/sword setup (offhand sword phantasms hurt like hell to say the least), but for a 1200 range weapon it is particularly damaging compared to most other weapons of that range.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Trinkets cannot be transmuted barring back items, as they don’t display on your model at all.

Pink asura for hire as a pet, services only available in Crystal Desert! :3
Note: Cannibalism not insurable.
PS: Not really for hire, I’m just bored.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I like Brisban Wildlands… I just do. Specifically the western parts where it’s a dry wasteland.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Except you can’t reforge ascended stuff into random stuff.
Just submit a ticket, maybe ANet will refund it. There have been cases where they did.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
A mesmer eh? Good choice, but try not to take on too many mobs at once at early levels until you know how to lead them by their noses.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
hey is EK still in CD? just curious
They’ve returned to BG. Some might have stayed, but none I know of.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
His post history consists of nothing but advertising a site over and over on ancient threads, so yeah.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I think you just answered your own question – they’re there for the looks.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Warrior, berserker. Just what I think. Alternatively you could give the zerker axe to a power necro.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
You have to complete the meta achievement to make it go away.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Whatever you heard is a lie, a legendary is just a glorified ascended weapon with much better looks. You’ll be fine switching out the sigil.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Don’t buy the lodestones direct, it’s cheaper to promote cores instead.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
You get “Join Party” if they are already in one, otherwise it’s invite either by default, or if you are in a party.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
I think the Queensdale champion trains may earn you a fair chunk of karma, since the champs there are the foci of several events, but I may be wrong.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Razer Naga.
You will thank me, and you are welcome.
Seconded. Say goodbye to stretching your left fingers to extremes!
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
It doesn’t matter what you do or what they do, all they get to see is when you’re online and whatnot.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
WvW karma trains.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
FLY, LITTLE THREAD. I COMMAND IT.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Hate to break it to ya, but relying on luck will not get you very far. Go earn some more money, and buy whatever you want off the TP, simple as that. Any special drops you get? Consider them a bonus.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Just give it a shot, you don’t need to capture a structure to access the POI and vista, you simply need to break in. My best friend once waited for an enemy zerg to break down the gate into a tower, then he made a mad dash for the vista and got his world completion. So don’t give up! :3
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
No, it’s a ring.
“Memories are nice, but that’s all they are.”
Rings never had any description to begin with.
