According to the FAQthe new PoF guild hall will require HoT to claim it.

You must purchase Heart of Thorns to claim the new guild hall released in Path of Fire, and access the Scribe crafting discipline to fully upgrade your guild hall.

Dang dident know that, but they dont say you cant use it.

How a player might have used up 14 bank tabs you mean?

Doing a screen shot asks for your account to be targeted for hacks honestly so I wouldn’t ask the anyone for that. But can give you some examples form various players I know or have discussed this with in the past (and granted some of these peeps are packrats):

1-2 tabs toys, collectibles, ingame novelty items, widgets, seasonal items
1-2 tabs Black Lion Chest drop items
1-3 tabs zone booster, zone pots, WvW/PvP pots, ToKs
1 tab – WvW siege, items, materials, tricks/traps
1 tab – food and utilities for various toons/builds if the player play more than 6 toons
1-6 tabs ascended rings, accessories, amulets
1-6 tabs ascended armor and weapons
1-14 tabs materials that don’t fit in maxed collections
1-3 tabs on craftable pre-cursors items and items needed for various stages
1-14 tabs if the player is a trader or specialty item trader
1-3 tabs for items moving between toons or items collected on one toon but need
opened on another, aka farming toons moving items to salvaging toons
1-14 tabs items for preparing for guild hall expansions in PoF
1-14 tabs loot bags awaiting opening for bag changes/future material needs
1 tab zone currencies/keys
1-14 tabs of things that don’t stack that should (example: salvaging kits)

Just some examples to help picture things.

1. Toys, Tonics, Seasonal Stuff (SAB mostly) taking up 1 Tab.
2. Boosters, Revive Orbs, TP To Friends, Single Use Black Lion Items, etc taking up 1 tab.
3. WvW items (Siege including Superior & Guild), food, reward track pots taking up 2 tabs.
4. Black Lion Salvage Kits.. only 25 charges each.. taking up 3 tabs.
5. Champ Bags stored away for as needed material when necessary. Most of my material is reaching cap so opening the bags would just give me mats that would take up even more space in my bank. This is taking up 3 tabs.
6. Ascended Rings, Accessories, Amulets, and Armor for different builds for different characters. Taking up 4 tabs. (am working on Legendary armor via WvW but that’ll take a while).

I mean I “could” get a character slot and put some stuff on it, but that defeats the purpose if having a permanent bank contract to access your belongings.

Also I do own a personal guild, but only have Treasure Trove unlocked, but not Deep Cave as I didn’t have enough time before HoT came out.. and didn’t even realize you could get more space past Treasure Trove until it was too late. However my entire Trove is filled up with ToT bags.

When PoF releases, we will have 5 maps, and who knows those maps could have each of their own type of items and what not. So it’ll be even worse. More tabs are necessary.

You know you could always sell materials on the tp and buy it back later when needed?

The issue with elite specs is a contradictory one by anet themselves. Now before I get into this I know already the kinda comments i will be getting already saying I’m worng. They never wanted them to be upgrades to the core class, however they clearly were/are clear upgrades to the core classes. The made the elite more powerful then the reagular class. The only ones I see run their core classes anymore are people who don’t own hot, or people who are not level 80. Now this wouldn’t be an issue if the elite spec filled a particular role. Like saying you want to be a support role then you pick an elite spec that centers around that particular. The only problem is that we have to wait another 5 years to get another elite spec before this idea can be made, because they are only going to give us the elite spe with xpacs. So you going to pick the the elite spec over you core class any day of the week.

This won’t stop being an issue till we get a few elite spec release, but the only way thats gonna happen is years years away.

True from the start it was intented to just be a side grade, but that dident happen I guess the investors wanted monies so they put pressure and got it changed to elite spec=more power to sell more boxes.

I got like 3 from ecto gambling about 2k ectos so yea its a super rare drop.

You can add hot as a bundle for 50 at the end when you are buying pof or not.

Buying each at a time will be 30+30

You shouldent do it mate since each time you list there is a fee that you wont get back.

The chromatic ooze you can click for effect from hammer comes to mind

OP if you could do like you say then you would have lost that money used on demo account on your normal account.
And since you can easily go blow all your gold buying materials/items on demo account character and then see you dont have said items/materials and no gold lost on normal account.

You didn’t think dungeon groups that insta kicked all necros was a problem? Or rangers?

What about right when hot came out and we all did swamp of the mists by killing mossman underwater, and anyone who didn’t want to was kicked?

There’s no way this would affect PvE in any way.

What happens if where you are dueling there are mobs around? Or events?

As soon as a third party interferes (mobs) the duel is canceled and both participants are restored to the health they had before the duel and the world keeps on spinning.

Cant see why your health would be restored its not like my health is instantly restored after killing a mob and a new one engage me the second after.

The economical impact is scalable/controlable, because ArenaNet can set the X.
Legendary items are untouched.
And the programmer are happy because they can reuse source code and a given currency.

ArenaNet are using digital river in order to be tax compliant in the countries they operate in. At least they won’t get sued by the EU (and others) that way. I presume they use euro for everyone in Europe outside the UK. Sucks a bit but is easier and more predictable that way.

To the point even of whispering you and insulting you just to get what they want from you. I personally experience this behavior as invasive and abusive.

It’s not something a yes/no button would be able to prevent.

What is stopping someone from stalking and whispering you ingame now? Dueling not gonna add new ways of being a kitten to the game no matter how much you want to believe in that.

I got quite afew exploration achivements aswell left to do havent crafted any of the gen 1 or gen 2 legendaries yet, about 40-50% left of stuff to do in hot yea plenty of stuff to keep me occupide.

Well if your that close you should still be that close if you login to a normal character since the ap you gain in demo dont count for normal.

Really? You feel “scammed”? According to your figures $29.99 is €25.41, right?

If they were to charge you in US dollars they would have to charge 20% VAT on that (which is EU law). 20% of €25.41 would be €5.08.

€25.41 + €5.08 = €30.49. So you’re actually getting a 50c discount.

Regardless, it’s a fairly standard business practice to pick a price point (that includes the relevant taxes) and to stick to it, to not change your products prices constantly just because of some currency exchange rate fluctuation.

Don’t fret, your not actually losing any exp at all, by not getting the mastery system started. When your capped at 80, your xp turns into spirit shards, so it’s still going towards something. Just like when we first started, and hit cap, our exp bar kept going to give us skill points.

As for a clear direction, it might be a bit murky but there is a direction to progress to next “level” that’s why you see that flashing mastery thing. You can still finish your core story first though 4 starting it as you won’t really lose anything since there is tonnes of xp. Specially since once you do start the mastery leveling stuff, it’s account wide so all your other level 80 toons benefit from it too.

It is gw2 though and everytime they change something or come up with a new idea. It’s always confusing at first then once that’s over it gets easier.

No it do not if s/he dont open up masteries it is wasted.

If it worked like you say then why have people been complaining about raid masteries since hot launched they would have gotten spirit shards all along.

Instead they buffed the rewards for doing wvw specificaly.

Dont agree you can already do that in guild arena, spvp private maps and wvw areas like obsidian sanctum for example.

mail is the same risk as peer to peer trading.

Trading post is risk free for a fee.

Mounts are coming and you can duel in the guild arena, spvp or wvw.

You dont have the power of the mist buff anymore that affected extra loot from nodes mate.

Now lets hope they can do the same for revenant legend.

if you want to play hot yes you will have to pay for it 20 bucks and 30 bucks for pof for a total of 50 or just go for 30 on pof.
