This would allow you to continue to use luck without wasting it, but still allowing others to catch up.

Explain how people will catch up mate if they hit 300% 14 days after you they still need to play 14 days more then you and cap luck to catch up.

Im more with the other person that said you would get a item like star of gratitude or mawdrey II that eat essence of luck and poop out stuff.

On another note what have you guys done to cap mf you bought tons of items and ectos of the tp or what?
If thats the case its kinda your own fault you knew there was a cap you raced to it anyway… tough luck mates

if you suffered through over 1 fractal with a person without kicking, you shouldent be able to remove them if not.
They are offline, clearly havent moved for 10 mins or not inside the fractal/dungeon with you.

they should just up the kick voting to 4 so if you have atleast 1 friend with you dungeon grefing shouldent happen ( if your below 5 people tough luck you cant kick and you shouldent since you want a full group dont you )

I wouldent say you should be able to swap out some of those skills, rather have a diffrent set of 5 you can chose bettwen have the ranged gs or the melee one for example not mix and match what ever you want.

That way the balance would still be there and all that anet would have to do was add 5/3 or less new skills to said weapon (depending on 1her or 2her or thief class for example)…. I for one would love the same thing on ranger sword to get rid of the nasty stick to enemy attack

ofcourse you should get stories done on more then one char get going

I’m very patient player and rarely kick people.Today i had 3 newbies in Arah P4.We finished the run longer than normally but noone was kicked.(The new players actually learned something)A lot of players will teach and explain things.But if you are being a kitten douchbag i will kick you right away.

Also if a thief is just refusing to not use his stealth or guard is not using his reflects or warr not using his banner to ressurect.Everyone of them deserves to be booted out.You play a dungeon where is expected a group support.If you are not pulling your kitten even i will kick you.When i see a newbie between 600-2000AP not using some spells i tell him what,when,how to use.
The same is expected with everyone else.If you are not doing your job as thief which means to stealth people when it is needed and make it in a problem the you will be kicked out right away.

I have done an Arah run with the OP.

It was a zerker only group with ping (which he enforced being the party leader)

He screwed up several stealth attempts, which didn’t get him kicked even though the group had an expected requirement.

What did get him kicked is saying “you can’t kick me I record all my arah run”

That is not a correct quote, it is what you wanted to hear in your fit of rage when you took your time running up to the group. You failed to keep up with the group and my stealths and blamed the ensuing aggro you created that wiped the group in your hissy fit directed solely at me.

What I did say was that if you are thinking about kicking me that I am recording the run. Because of the tone of your rant and the fact that you were speaking lies already about who aggro’d I felt the need to try and defend my position as I am doing now. After which, without hesitation, you (and I can only guess because of the language you expressed in party chat towards me) had me kicked from the party. The only person who was a jerk up to that point was you for playing the blame game and pointing fingers every chance you had.

Playing a thief isn’t even the issue here. I should be allowed to be able to play a thief without being confined to bringing stealth skills. Having stealth is only a luxury. Dungeon runs are 100% completeable without having stealth, what happens if you don’t have a thief in the party? do you kick until you have one? No.

Having dungeon owners and party leaders protects me from people like you who will bad mouth others into thinking like you when you are all heated because of your prejudice towards others, or because you had a bad day at work or school or for what ever other reason. I as a solo dungeon runner have nothing I can even do when people like you go off to protect myself which is why I want some security in this matter.

As an aside to your first accusation about me enforcing the ping gear, which was also wrong by the way. When you joined the party you asked if all gear was pinged, in which i replied simply with “yes” because everybody in the party had pinged the gear. The answer in no way means that if you did not ping all of your gear that I would have kicked. It also does not mean that I am the party leader as there is no such thing hense my creation of this topic. The person who created the LFG left the party earlier on before the dungeon even started.

And to your second paragraph that I screwed up several stealths, again I did no such thing. It is only hearsay and in an experienced group you should be expected to be able to make the runs on your own without stealth anyways, but that is beside the point of this thread which is to bring back instance owners or implement party leaders with the option to opt into joining parties with them leaving the current system as the majority or vice versa so it can appeal to both views.

Well since you recorded the run why dont you post it on youtube let the masses see for themselfs who of you guys thats in the wrong.

Its alot better then the word against word, mud slinging you guys are doing atm.

And I for one dont want party leaders back it protects the wrong people most of the time.

Probably not, no. Especially on the second part. At it’s underlying core the game just feels to never have been designed with “progression” in mind.
They added some systems later which can work in that way, sure. Achievement point rewards, ascended gear, skin bank, WXP levels.

But if you look back at the core of the game, no, the game was designed to be enjoyable for itself, not for some artificial motivation method. Whether it is or not, that’s a different issue ofc. :P

I actually like the game but it’s still not enough over time. If there is no meaningful progression then its just a grind. (not fun)

I like a lot of the content. (not all of it) There needs to be a reward for it or its eventually just tedium.

Oddly enough, I don’t think shortage of maps or DE’s are the problem. There’s a ton of map and events. I don’t even want an expansion. Reward me for what is there.

But you are getting rewarded at every turn with exp and loot so what more do you want man?

I dont see what raising the lvl cap would do when we down level anyway much rather keep going sideways adding more skills weapons and classes

Some suggest that I be more aggressive in filtering or I should forfeit my instance. No one is arguing the need for a plan, yours is just stupid and won’t work! I have never abandoned a run no matter how bad; even if I taste color and feel pain in my head and feet. I see it to the end especially if friends are in group.

I try to be fair and not instigate trouble. If you joined my LFG and do not fit requirements, then I tell you that you’re not real, you can’t be here! I do not insult or reply to insults no matter how frustrating because I don’t let the enemy see me bleed – but it seems like they are getting paid by the word to insult me. I feel that if I just ignore and try my best, I will get what’s coming to me and maybe it will zero-sum this whole diabolical affair.

Sometimes if it’s manageable because I have a friend with me or I waited long and do not want trouble. I’ll ask for things like banners/reflects and even if you did not fit the LFG, no questions will be asked if you comply NOW. But a lot of times they had my head for a bowl ’o soup if I did that. Other times I have trouble convincing friends early on or that they see no problems with exploits/they do not want to spend another hr in LFG, I try to let it go and feels like I trained them to be an officer and they stab me in the back.

As for people I have kicked, if you joined my LFG, clearly had no respect for it and refused the chance I gave you, I am sorry but I will take care of the elimination, starting with you. If I wanted excuses, I’d ask you for them. If you take offense when I merely stated something like “why is the ranger(myself) the only one reflecting when we have 2 guards and a mes” then I am sorry, your weakness makes me laugh! I bear no ill will towards anyone, even those who hijacked. I don’t FEEL your rage as you do when you resorted to insults. Pity you weren’t more clever. Perhaps I would have found a better place for you in my ranks.

When I PUG I do not just dive in! I try to be reasonable and filter well but the current system makes it…ugh…a swamp…Those who do not believe it to be that bad. You don’t see this place through my eyes. A few suggested compromises to the system. This looks veeeery interesting! This looks veeeery interesting! This looks veeeery interesting! However, when it comes to PVE, I cannot help but feel like all of us…abandoned. For any mod reading, I simply ask that the issue be re-examined, I need a little of your expertise. Yes certainly was easier to be a dic-tator when opener was unkickable, not sure what you are doing wrong when people who have played just as long dont have problems at all, might be your teaching methods, your people skills, I dont belive in bad luck only the rng jesus.
Never kicked bad players I have however kicked people who dont respond at all when spoken to, even if you dont speak the language you can say something when you see your char name in the sentence.

I need to chime in that Langrim tends to have a worst luck when it comes to pug roll. I once duo’d Arah with him and we got kicked right off when putting up a giveaway LFG. To make it worse, his quirk doesn’t help :s

yea make a char do all starting citys gain charges to spend, need more redo char from scratch

maybe do a print screen and show us what you mean mate, is the mask a skin in your inventory you have to apply, is it an item you can just click and wear.
Or is it a item you want to unlock to wear over the item you wear now.

Since they added mewdey and carpace armor to my knowlage pretty recently and it aint in the store

They have been repeatedly saying that the games primary focus would be skins only, which is exactly what carapace armor is. There is nothing different about it over any other exotic armor you can buy at the auction or from the dungeon vendor other then the skin, which is bad for the most part anyway, luminescence armor being carapace armor with a horrific sky blue dye which is absolutely hideous. I made an exact copy of the luminescence armor with my carapace armor pieces just by adding dye to all the available color slots. lol

Well my point was it aint all in the gem store as your first point stated bud, the items you buy in gem stor is just skins aswell

Saying that you won’t be compensated just means that you won’t be paid or rewarded in any tangible way. The description makes it clear that this is a volunteer position. There could still be other benefits, such as an indicator below your name on your forum posts, the ability to merge threads, or any number of things.

The legal issues for the US resident and the age requirement is because this is an official site and NOT a fan site.

All the official forums I go to moderated by employees of the parent company in some fashion.

It is a liability thing AND it is Resume filler. These “specialists” will likely be allowed to place their tenure on their resumes as unpaid internships. Therefore, non-US citizens would likely have to get a work-visa since ANet is based in the US.

But they arent moderating anything they are gathering info and passing it on.

I didn’t see the pic that the OP posted, but I have 300% MF, and at least 1.5 million luck essences sitting in storage.

I would also like an answer to this question. Up until a month or two ago, you could at least click it, and keep track of it past 300%. Now, nothing.

I think it’s fair to offer a trader for these….maybe a mini pet?

Why you could have sold all those blue/greens on the tp or vendor trashed them…… Luck was added to the items as a bonus they dident take away any resources from said item when you salvaged them.

It may be something to do with the world wide guild banks, i have two accounts as i was forced to get a separate one to play with other friends in European servers, now, on my american account i can access the guild bank, but on the euro account, i can not access it.

You might have something there the only bank i cant access have a friend who moved over to Na servers from Eu totaly forgot that he was in there and started playing again.

It’s a valid position and I really appreciate the feedback from you and everyone else.

Forum specialists won’t be forwarding directly to specific developers. Perhaps they can post something along the lines of “This topic has been included in this week’s report to the Forum Communications Team.” And then when that same topic appears over and over and… the forum specialist can point to the comment and say “This was included in the report of [date],” With time, I think forum members would gain the understanding that if a topic was forwarded to the FCT, it was then included in the team report and when/if a dev is able to post, s/he will do so.

Does that make sense?
