I’m fine with your sentiment, OP, but I think that it isn’t really your place to tell people who they have to have in their parties.

Today, I ran a noob through TA. A Ranger. He wasn’t amazing, but he listened and things were fine. But the run would have gone quicker with a better class/player.

I just feel like it might be better form to encourage people to teach noobs in other ways, not telling people that they have to for some reason.

But a thing I found, earth elemental is OP in this fractal. It doesn’t fall through the missing floor tiles. Or it didn’t last time I did it. Lol

I was having this same issue. What seemed to fix it for me was Not checking remember email and remember password on the game launcher.

Also, I always type my emails and passwords in on the forums from my iPad even if it thinks it remembers it.

So far, for the last 3 days, it has solved my issue.

I’m pretty sure any time I guested onto another server to enter cof it always had the dungeon start on my own server anyway. Regardless of where I would guest, when I opened it. I’m also fairly certain that influence is based on your completion of the dungeon and not necessarily where you completed it.

Yeah, I think personal bias may be an issue. It would be like “this person said something I don’t like, let’s make it so nothing they every say is considered” I think that could be detrimental. Anet devs are human too, ya know.

I also see less folks in fractals than before the patch. But this was predicted. Once the meta was no longer doable, fair weather fractal players left, hardcores are all that do them. And now they stick top remade groups, rather than pugs.

Overall, I think that the patch had a negative effect on the community and game. While it was brought out to please the majority of the player base, it actually only positively affected the minority. Things like account bound levels helped some people, who had AR on multiple non leveled characters, but undermined the efforts of those who actually leveled their alts to higher levels. These things are sad. And I think it’s about time more people at least acknowledged that there was a mistake made.

You can, I believe, but you have to transmute it to a white item to make it account bound. But right, like you said, the race and armor class must stay the same. it’ll be account bound and say “requires sylvari race”.

I kind of want a new dungeon. But one that doesn’t involve Scarlet. And is permanent.

He does reset fast. I’ve only duoed the commander, but the first part I usually solo.

The higher cost defensive golem is good because it can provide a short reflect to a class that doesn’t normally have one. But I think the other golem does more damage. Might be a toss up for different situations.

It does stink. I do enjoy the CoE opening events though. Fun to solo/duo

I get that it stinks and stuff, but I don’t understand how it personally affects you. No one can make money off of this… Most people who got them do not even have a use for them. Sure most people would not be affected by the quartz being taken, but I really need to understand what negative impact it has on you.

Not at all trying to be rude, I’m just genuinely curious.

I guess that’s sort of true, Roz, but at the same time so many of the people who come in here looking for help end up getting angry about the build advice, and say things like “I play how I want” and then they start accusing those here in the forum who are amazingly good of doing bad things.

Any thread can start out okay, but they derail because people are generally unwilling to take constructive criticism.

I saw that Arena Net is going to be archiving, or deleting, the wvw matchup forum. I’m just wondering if the dungeon forum might ever receive the same fate?

Things are obviously quite hostile here. Regular forum members and members of the dungeon community are infracted and banned every day here. Is it unlikely to happen, because this sub forum always existed and the match-up forum only existed because of forum members’ request?

This is an honest question of which I would like a discussion. Please keep the thread civil and on topic. I like my threads. I don’t want them deleted.

I want my armor to be bifrost armor. I want legendary dyes that infuse dye slots with rainbows.

This might be a part of the game forgetting password bug. Several of us are experiencing it. No fix yet!

Sometimes it happens if you’ve purchased more than their monthly cap, of, I think, 300$?

This is a bug. It happens with my elementalist in fractals. Until I got full ascended, I had to log out to fix it.

Ps. It started happening when the Fractured patch was released.

I play with zerk armor and soldier trinkets because if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to stay alive cause I’m a bad still on training wheels.
