fear not, for the DM title shows the hardship you’ve been through.
atleast it does for me, i have it showing on all my alts and everything.
Can’t you just buy the lodestones?
Depends on the Legendary
for example any Legendary that requires Charged Lodestones prepare to empty your wallet as they are 3G each, and you need 100 of them.
that’s 300g from the Lodestones alone.
add in 100g for the Icy Runestones, 20g for the Gift Recipes, the cost of your precursor ~300g.
i just wish they were Account Bound when used (Currently they are Soulbound on Use, so you could even trade it) so i can could use it and then swap it between my characters.
atleast the bag of gems give’s you something ok’ish with the current loot system, that bag of gold is just an empty promise.
this is actually more relevant to being the 6th Elder Dragons name as the Attack in question is an Earth one, not a water one.
Well hell…….seems weird that they would release the 6th dragon’s name before bubbles’ name, simply because they haven’t even officially confirmed that there’s a 6th dragon at all, it’s all speculation, whereas bubbles’ existence is confirmed.
Although, I can also see them keeping bubbles’ name away from us as long as possible, simply because we’ve made such a big deal out of it lol.
i feel they want the Underwater Dragon to remain a mystery, much like here on Earth the Deep Sea is very mysterious and unknown, im gettin the feeling they will leave that Dragon out of the game to always have an Elder Dragon threat looming over us, and the 6th Elder Dragon is related to the Sylvari and right now the Sylvari really need a lore-bomb as it were as atm they are very Mary-sue which doesnt do them justice as a fictional race.
this is actually more relevant to being the 6th Elder Dragons name as the Attack in question is an Earth one, not a water one.
it’s a string of hits, 9 in total, some will crit others wont the final hit also deals bonus dmg compared to the other 8 so it helps alot when your final strike crits.
in Full Berserker your looking at +70% crit chance then you can factor in other things like 12% crit from traits at full adrenaline and possible Fury boon for another 20%.
actually it is consistent, i dont rely on anything like cooldowns or special combo fields it’s just the damage output from One Hundred Blades that has a 6 1/2s cooldown.
could probably go even higher if i used Ruby Orbs over Runes of Strength, im just providing proof as to why warriors are wanted over other proffesions, but feel free to share screenshots of consistent damage from other proffesions.
you want true suffering?
try HotW Explorable, all 3 bosses are pure boredom to the say the least.
I perfected it by the third run. Never take my armor off anymore. But running past the bombs in CoF path 3 is still a pain in the charr…
i managed to perfect that, so dont give up, you can do it too!
see attachment for why you bring Warriors, it’s simply because no other class can come even close to the damage output, the faster you kill stuff, the faster you get your reward, the less time you have to spend.
the same rule applies to Guardians in that through their supportive buffs/role such as Aegis, Protection from a Hammer, healing etc you spend almost no time with anyone going down or dying i should also mention that Binding Blade is the only AoE pull skill ingame that allows you to group up enemies very easily and barrage them with combo fields and aoe, which makes quick work of enemies and is an excellent way of using abilities as a team.
this is’nt so much an elitist thing as it is simply taking advantage of the current metagame, why spend 1hour in a dungeon if you could get the same reward in 30 minutes.
type [&AgHjdwAA] for the spear and [&AgHpdwAA] for the Speargun into gw2 chat.
note that you will only be able to preview part of the skin, all the Legendaries have a special effect you cannot see in the preview, this will just give you a base idea of what they look like.
and yes the Trident, Kraitkin has already been crafted.
only time DE was remotely useful was Logan in CoF story.
“Watch out for the Fireball!”
and towards the end his massive Sanctuary bubble.
if Anet keep having us working with an npc in each dungeon path i strongly suggest they make them useful like Logan was in CoF, either give them a unique ability for a boss fight or simply give Audio Cue’s for boss attacks albeit please dont make that ability have a short cooldown for the sake of having to put up with a screaming npc.
ye they have had that ability for as long as i remember.
and Warriors can fear anyhow so it’s just the well that’s Unique for them.
but it’s not a win on all fronts, i dont want Guardians n Warriors running around in cloth whilst Necromancers run around in full armour declaring themselves a DeathKnight.

5 points for every 5 dungeon’s you clear, though it works a little oddly, i think it counts individual dungeons rather than each explorable path, so if you do AC explorable 123 it’ll give you 1 point towards your 5.
i’ve never cared enough to find out exactly what counts towards it, but it’s definately not every explorable path be that design or bug.
Giants, because i want the Giant Slayer achievement and there are very very few Giants your able to kill in this game (Risen Giants dont count).
Get the Dungeon Master title, nobody can fault you ever again.
it’ll be added when it’s ready, there are many items in the database that have yet to make it to the current build, for instance there is a Quiver Backitem and even a Polearm.
Armoured Scales come from Krait/Drakes in WvW, best place to farm it if you can take the risk of being in a pvp zone.
otherwise your stuck transforming T5 scales into T6 with the forge.
also Heavy Moldy Bags drop all t6 materials, albeit at a low drop rate.
Both recipe’s have the same 1/3 chance but because you can gamble more often with the x1 recipe than you can with the x10 recipe averages show that you are most likely to reach your goal quicker with the x1 recipe.
out of the 5 times i did the x10 recipe it worked once, i’ve had a 9clover streak with the x1 recipe, it’s just all averages and luck so either go for a big gamble or play it safe.
I’m currently working on crafting a legendary as well (The Dreamer) and the precursor costs more than the rest of the components all together.
While Venom is only at 15 gold. And I can’t really understand why. Is Kraitkin less attractive? Different droprates?
Anyway, I’m not gonna open 531599 chests in Orr, I’m not gonna throw 5135 exotics shortbows in the Mystic Forge and I am not going to buy The Lover for 300 gold. Looks like I’ll have to wait…
because it’s an underwater weapon
Underwater Combat is mostly terrible and a very little part of the actual game.
odd i was considering getting this but i think i’ll stick to my Arah torch for now, love it’s blue glow which is what i expected the Ghastly Torch to have aswell.
no your not alone i dont want new races either, i would rather time spent making new races and everything that comes with it (starter area, personal story, making the armour fit because Charr already have enough clipping issues, etc) be spent on the races already ingame.
Each race has a language but because they had to make sure they could all communicate from a lore pov they wrote in about a new language they call New Krytan that all of the races have since learnt and now naturally speak, similar to English in the real world.
ye sadly this isnt possible unlike in GW1 with the Salvage Kits that would always give a % chance of saving the base item until all upgrades were removed and the Perfect Salvage Kit always having 100% chance to save the item.
the people i play with, just like every other mmo.
Mobs become invulnerable to your attacks if they cannot reach you with their auto-attack.
it is designed this way to prevent exploits of pulling mobs, jumping up a cliff, remember mobs cant jump, and then just sitting there whacking it without it having any chance of fighting back.
if your having trouble with this particular puzzle i would suggest using a Guardian, Stand your Ground is a very short cooldown that grants stability which will prevent any knockbacks.
Aegis will also block the occasional skill thrown at you.
tried it, failed, knew it was a bust as soon as i seen the waves continue to spawn over and over.
hasnt changed much for me since Blossoms were always a 1hit kill-no miss with the Guardian Minesweeping Staff.
i dont so much as mind if they make the current explorables easier, i mean considering many of the dungeons were aimed at lower levels rather than level 80’s despite the downleveling there is still a big difference in power between say a lvl 55 and a lvl 80.
but if they are going for that route, i would very much like a level 80 hard mode for each dungeon, perhaps the new dungeon coming soon may shed light on the direction they are taking towards Dungeon Difficulty.
1 Lodestone per 100 tokens, 1 core per 40 or 45.
2 cores can be transformed into 1 lodestone with a mandatory purchase of Crystals & the Elonian Wine from Miyani which costs ~25s along with t6 dust which is why i’d say make the cost of 2 cores slightly cheaper than 1 complete lodestone.
Sigils like that wont stack, consult the Wiki for useful info on what Sigils Stack with one another.

for those concerned about the Engineers Jump Shot, i’ll bring this video to your attention.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUAGHoZOur4
bug or not, look at how smooth that landing is.
Artificial Difficulty is why.
must be Distracting with all those clones in close proximity, but in a good way.
Engineer Rifle deals really good damage actually, you have to understand that not every weapon has it’s 2-5 skills built for dealing more damage than it’s auto-attack.
it shares this trait with a Guardian’s Hammer in that skills 2-4 are mostly situational.
comes down to personal flavour i feel, some Runes are worth it if your after the special effect mainly from the 6/6 bonus.
for example rune of Strength is 5% damage under the effects of might, thats the same as a Sigil of Force and if you were using such a runeset you are most likely a class/build that is always under the effect of Might in combat.
you can also consider some of the really good 2/2 bonus’ Water & Monk both give 15% Boon Duration, add that to your Boon Duration trait tree for another 30% and throw in some Omnomberry Cream and you can get a whopping 80% bonus to your Boon Duration.
the Ghastly Staff from AC explorable.
one of the best looking staff’s ingame and easy to aquire.
for me it makes more sense to just throw in 4 offhand items that cost 210 tokens and chance at getting 1 of the Offhand precursors, which u can then sell and put the gold towards the precursor you want.
you may also want to consider gambling for more than 1 precursor, if your using random weapons you have a chance at ANY precursor, if only greatswords you only have a chance at 2 although your chances for either will be significantly higher.
just a reskin, similar to how CoE weapons are red versions of Mystic Weapons.
only weapons that have effects are the AC weapons and Arah weapons, Arah torch is one of my favourites as it’s light radius around your character is Blue rather than red.
i have to admit when he said it gets harder as you go through i cant help but think is’nt that the whole point?
more importantly however, will there be new Dungeon Gear/Tokens from this place?
just tried this path in a long time, wow.. just wow.. hope you have atleast 3 walls of Reflection at your disposal
The castle is a perfect example of content they want to hold on too but have never gotten around to using it, they even made sure they wrote in how someone or something moved the castle from it’s previous location which is now the Dominion of Winds, further north.
just above the Home button, 33 minutes to go.
goes up in around 3 hours, talks about the new content incoming.
Get Hype.
Plinx all day every day until your eyes bleed.
you can also opt to run some very fast dungeon routes, CoF path 1 can be completed in around 15 minutes very easily for 1.8k karma (2.1 with guild boost).
probably because they believe you can balance both pve and pvp with the same skills?
which in fact you cant, WoW is proof enough for anybody.
it’s not just dungeons, you can apply this to anywhere but SPvP, i can absolutely 100% say that WvW would be more fun without repair bills, because you wouldnt have to worry about not running around with the zerg.
sadly Repair bills are a goldsink and are an important part of the game in removing gold from players much like many other gold sinks in this game.
when your finally good at dungeons, you wont need to worry about repair bills.
