I don’t think anything is wrong with my necro, I mean I do loads of damage and outlast most heavy armored professions but every time there are skill balances, I just go “meh” nothing I wanted or cared about was updated >.>

Brick dye is good for a red, I think it’s pretty cheap as well (only tried on light armor profs)

I like tight fitting clothing on my characters showing off their curves, which happens to be more revealing armor.

Was this armor suppose to be prestigious? I don’t understand the high cost in the first place, it should be karma for all cultural armors (t1,t2,t3) just like the weapons. >.> Give us more use for karma!!!!

I can confirm everyone gets one, I was NOT at the event and NOT logged on, I got the box in the mail.

I like hearing FOR GREAT JUSTICE EVERY 25 seconds…NOT. That’s one of the reasons I use signets, but not all 5 signets kinda dumb wasting utilities for passive stat boosts for reasons you mentioned. I use longbow/axeaxe

I really wish there will be other ways to get ascended gear other than fractals because at the moment I’m stuck on a level because everyone wants to the daily/higher levels. sigh

Bait ‘n switch is the $200 50inch TV on sale, and is mysteriously sold out but there happens to be a $450 50inch TV just like it. Don’t see how that links to GW2.

Nope, the character is on your account and will forever stay there unless you delete it. There most likely will never be a character transfer.

Also, I’m pretty sure it’s against the rules to account share so you might want to be cautious about what you say :P

Perhaps a system could be designed so that if you’ve already gotten yourself a legendary (say, Quip or Kudzu, which do look sweet, but on a male char? really?) and if/when new styles are released, you could “trade-in” your existing legendary for a different one, so long as it was of the same weapon type?

Have you see the dreamer? Much worse than Quip and Kudzu. :P

They could do a similar recipe to Eternity such as: Precursor to the new weapon, Old legendary weapon, 5 T6 mats, and a bloodstone shard. And have a separate recipe to make the legendary from scratch.

I wish there were only overflow servers so we could see more people in maps/cities. There have been many suggestions on just making every map overflow so the player base isn’t so separated, not sure they are looking at that possibility.

I have been in my server since a week after release (Sanctum Of Rall) and I’ve seen an increase in the amount of people in LA because of fractals. Usually when a server is bad at wvw they struggle to keep players in that server because transfers are free, not sure that’s the case in Gunnar’s Hold though.

Tell me your secrets on getting lvl 80 in a week! I really want to level more characters but I think it takes TOO long mostly because I’ve been playing GW1 for 7 years. This level cap is REALLY annoying for me.

I think the story is too short, I would like more endgame when I get to lvl 80, but getting to lvl 80 is just too long imo.

I think they said they are designing more legendaries but I’m not 100% sure of that…There are 3 GS (2 different models), I think there should be 1-3 choices to chose from for each weapon time.

Bolt looks good when it’s alone, but the lightning around your body really frustrates me as well.

I chatted with an enviro dev in game, we talked about maps/jumping puzzles and such. He doesn’t have much reason to go on forums, but I see some posting here and there, especially in the ranger part of the forum… or when there’s a big event. I can give you screens of the convo for proof? :P

I can confirm this as well, It’s really bad this time, my regular merchant is a long ways away from it’s original position…Too bad I can still see the icons on the map :P

Most of the mats will be ‘easy’ to farm, you could make a goal of buying/farming 10 each day. Or something like that, only think I don’t think is realistic is the lodestones/ ectos… You could no life farm fractals,you’ll get quite a few ectos.

Hmm yeah… Aiming for the cooler 250 ecto weapons from the forge will be better if you don’t want to put in the massive effort with little payoff(legendaries)

When a game releases, there is a huge influx of people. Month or two later, people decide they they don’t like the game or finished the story line and decide to quit. People usually go to higher level areas, or what ever yields the most rewards…so not many people play the random level maps. The player base declines till it’s almost steady with hardly any influxes/sharp declines until another release happens. The cycle will continue…

Ele (80): 92 Deaths, 80 Hours-1.15 Deaths/Hour

Other characters have less than 15 hours logged on, all less than lvl 30 (so not important)

Best advice I have to give about the trolls who insult you, don’t ignore them, just report them. Don’t say anything back, because if you respond, it’s just what they wanted from you. Just kindly report them to arena net, and they will hand out a suspension to the person and then after they stopped talking to you then put them on your block list.

I would prefer it to be sold for 250-500 marks. I don’t want it to be permanently disabled outside of WvW because it has use for people rallying to events and so on (and there are events that are held in cities). I want the people that have it to have earned it and be responsible with it.

I would agree with you however, you can always see the events in cities, no matter how far you are away from them. And usually when there is an event in a city it is a pretty big deal.

ANet can fix this by having the icon automatically disabled in all cities and having the icon bought by some other means than gold… I mean seriously… Why gold?

AHH! I found the arms/boots I think it’s a crafted armor piece… Yeah it’s definitely crafted, lvl 150-200 armorsmithing and it’s called “splint”

Those are karma armor pieces, I know they are located in Kessex Hills with heart vendors. So they can’t be on TP.

I love the people implying that D3 was a failure… it sold 3.5 million copies within the first 24 hours… Guild Wars 2 has sold a little over 2 million copies within 2 months?

The only thing the majority of people want that is in GW1 is the “no gear treadmill” which said they would do and they didn’t. (I’m not so against it, since it really won’t make you suck if you don’t have the gear.)

Thank you for posting this, I played engineer in the beta weekends and just got back to playing mine. Thanks for putting your opinion in there as well, I was reading some of the kits/tools and I’m like “ooooh that’s good” and you say don’t use it just to spam 11111…lol

I agree as well, most fights are finished in 60 seconds (not counting legendary bosses) makes our pets just really crappy tanks imo.

I finished fractals up to difficulty scale 5 with a pug group, with no VoiP, only a brain. It’s quite easy when everyone understands the area, we only had I believe, 2 wipes for the entire duration of the time we were together. You don’t need VoiP if you understand the dungeon, sure there will be wipes in the beginning, and lots of confusion but you can easily type what you mean…

Yeah, what Kumu Honua said, you can buy t1, t2, t3 weapons with karma, which are located by the portals to WvW and the dungeon armor vendors. It seems more reasonable to buy with karma instead of commendations since the weapons aren’t max stat anyways.

You can complete the rest of the phases… And I’m pretty sure those NPCs will be there during the rest of the event (hopefully they start working)

As for me, I liked the dungeon looks, the grind…not so much

You didn’t miss much during the one time event which was basically a lag fest where you had to press 111111 (auto attack wasn’t working) and kill karkas then run to the other side and watch a 2 second cut scene of a karka smashing the lighthouse in half. Not much at all :P
