I switched my female warrior to male just because I liked how he wielded GS better. Couple days later I switched because they have the worst longbow auto-attack animation in the world and how they pick up items on the ground! Ugly…

I would like to see Anet address the insane particle effects.

I can never anticipate when to dodge the statue of dwayna attacks because of this. You can barely make out the enemy model. Particle effects are nice and all, but in gw2 they are overly done. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this issue in any mmorpg I’ve played.

Thank you for posting this! Temple of Dwayna event seems bugged because the effects are 1000000000000x it’s normal size and flashes on the screen at an obscene rate, I’m really surprised no one has had a seizure.

There is balancing issues with every MMO, those professions you play are accepted if you don’t camp range, which 99% of rangers and thieves do. It’s a problem for you that you don’t understand the meta in this game. And btw a LFG tool group asking for heavies only doesn’t mean they “kicked” you.

If you want to play bearbow/SB then make your own group. If I want people who contribute on the same level as me, I have the right to make a group asking for high DPS players. There are enough people on each side of this debate so you can party with the people that agree with you.

I switched characters and this was still bugged. I’m pretty sure it’s 200g I need, and I asked a friend to mail me more to see if it would trigger the achievement and still nothing.

You’re complaining about something that is aimed to revitalize WvW in servers that aren’t t1 or t2? This is supposed to be a good thing and give rewards to WvW to make it more appealing to people who want to have some rewards for playing.

And I’m sorry, zerging isn’t “skillful.” Having someone shout over the mic simple commands isn’t skillful. Spamming skills hoping to get some tags isn’t skillful. Following a blue dorito for 2 hours isn’t skillful. Hoping you have the biggest zerg in your zerg vs. zerg battles isn’t skillful. Of course there are people who do the 10 people zerg destroying group, I have yet to encounter a guild that can actually destroy a zerg. I don’t care inb4 a link to some lame video.

2) living world.. stick a cattle prod in it already, it needs more juice, preferable of the permanent variety
3) added traits/utilities and when/how they will be implemented

I loved rodgort’s incovation so much I needed half my skill bar to support the energy spam. I would rather run around and dodge attacks than focus my whole build on energy management.

I agree, I believe weapons shouldn’t be tied to conditions or stuns, etc. I think having the option to chose (even between 2 skills) would greatly increase my combat satisfaction. I would love sword for warrior that is full damage, as well as a hammer that could go DPS instead of stun.

I would rather have choices for my skills than more weapon choices, I want just a little more customization on my skill bar than what we currently have.

Those shoulders are medium cultural tier 3 armor for asura.

No the Heroic Chest is an item that was added to Digital Deluxe and Standard editions of the game bought through the official website from August 2013 onwards.

It contains your choice of Primeval, Krytan or Profane armor, 10 XP boosters and an 18 slot Mithril box.

You’re not supposed to get it unless you bought the game (or the digital deluxe upgrade) after the anniversary. Which is why it’s a bit of a mystery how and why other people are randomly receiving them.

If they are still thinking about polls, why not send something in the mail to each player and if they don’t want to answer the questions they can just delete it. You could obviously make it fit by having someone like Keil/Logan/Caithe etc. write it.

Thanks for writing this, I don’t usually criticize or make any posts about my feelings about the game because I am generally happy with it. But in light of everyone else giving feedback, here is my feedback.

A) Living story, I love the constant updates but there needs to be more lore inside the game instead of on a blog post, maybe a little dialogue with whoever to get the full scope of what is happening and what to do next. I find all the activities really fun and I like how you guys included the daily into the LS too.

B) Something that extremely important to me (and other GW1 vets) is GW1 connections, and I think there should be a lot namely, Cantha and Elona. I also love little tidbits like Carlotta as a mini pet this Halloween. I really love Elona, oh my god if you made an expansion you know how amazing that would be? I used to leave my client up for HOURS just listening to the sound track. I wish that we could still have that abbadon fractal…I was really upset when Evon lost because I would never be able to play one of my favorite parts of GW

C) Account bound/RNG rewards, although I do like having more unique rewards, I think there should be a little more focus on things like precursors. Many people are obsessed (including me) about precursors and the lack there of. I feel the more rewards you put into the game with each living story up date the less chance I’m getting my precursor because I want that limited time item (examples: BLC weapons, TA weapons) but I also want to thank you for putting the TA weapons obtainable outside of the gem store.

Greatsword/sword for necro as a cleave weapon. It’s greatly needed and should be addressed.

I just want ascended armor to be attainable outside of crafting, I think the crafting thing is a lazy design approach. I would rather do actual entertaining content and attain ascended gear than sit at a crafting station, and spend weeks upon weeks getting materials for a piece…Too boring and grindy. Bring back the old philosophy that made this game popular initially, because this approach is the polar opposite of what this game was promised to be, and originally was.

I primarily WvW, and do the living world dungeons or stories. I know that a massive portion of the games populous is basically the same way at this point, so it really only makes sense that they would be made attainable through these methods in addition to the dead-end crafting method.

Someone did ping a Zojja’s Armor Box which gives 1 armor piece with zerker stats that will be in the armor update. But you have to be amazingly lucky to get one from champ loot/fractals. I find crafting extremely annoying as well and it’s not really worth the time/effort.

I think people are mistaking the forum warrior with warrior. Yes, guardians can out dps a warrior but cannot out dps a forum warrior. I hope that clears up the confusion.

It’s called properly advertising your party. Examples:
P1 speed, 80 only, know the run
P1, newbies welcome
P1, any class welcome

And so on.

The thing about that is everyone can still join. For example, I was doing all story modes again and put in an advertisement like “SM lvl 80s, be competent” and for CM I got 4 40-50s that joined. After kicking them, they join right up and I ask are you kittening stupid? I knew CM is easy but it’s the fact they didn’t read the advertisement. Long story short, I’m surprised I haven’t been banned yet for blowing up on so many people, this LFG tool brings out the worst players.

You mean that typing “Guys, you kill the generators by killing the holos, please focus on halos, do not attack gens” was too much of an effort?

I finished this dungeon and we only had one guy rage quit on the oozes. Oddly once replaced, we did the oozes on the second try like a walk in the park.
My issue is that the mechanics are interesting and punishing yet ppl see fit to explain them in two word sentences: “kill holo”, “follow path”, “kite ooze” and then have the expectation that once this direction is given, you will immediately proceed to follow it flawlessly. How am I supposed to know how to kite the ooze if I had no time to see the spring? Where am I supposed to kite the ooze to if I did not get to see the end of the path yet?
And at the end of the day, part of the fun is to understand the mechanics. Sure, I will kite the bloody ooze but you need to first give me 2 mins to check the spring and then walk to the end of the path to see the end point.

A rich guy can make a new char and instantly get an outstanding hair-fashion advantage. Everyone will say “oh! just look at his hair! we’ll kick that unstylish guy from the team and take him”.

That’s why you gotta do it on the first day to know the concepts extremely well without getting kicked. Thankfully Dulfy put up a guide so we don’t have to spend 30 mins talking about the mechanics

I did this with a team less than optimal, ranger, 2 thieves, 2 mesmers. We owned, no problem whatsoever with dps. You just need communication, and it seems a lot of people don’t like to talk to their team mates about strategies and that’s the only reason I’d kick someone.
