I’m not a fan of these armors at all, but this armor looks really good on your charr.

I had a pug group, we beat it.

The first encounter we did a sort of stack method, we were very close to each other so oil spills were close if not stacked on each other while the ooze person kited threw oil.

The last boss however, what a piece of work that is. We spent half the time figuring out what the stacks ment and how to get them removed. After about 10 times almost to the verge of quitting, we run in guns blazing and take his health to 50% and slowly finish the rest off. With absolutely no coordination other than rezing each other.

I will only do it again when guides are finished to get my full achievements. I do not recommend pugging

Many of the Guild Wars 1 players refuse to use charr because of what they did to Ascalon. I know it sounds silly but seriously, there’s a group of players who decided before the game ever launched they’d never play a charr.

Nope, does not work. You have to do the transmute trick, transmute your desired skin on to a white item (lvl 1-79) (makes it account bound). And if you want the stats you get a transmutation splitter thing for 300gems.

Once something is bound you can only get it account bound.

I agree as well as those small servers, I mean hell, I went to NSP and there was less than 15 people there, WHEN TEQUALT WAS UP! It’s just too big of an event for any low populated to server to ever do it…It needs to be scaled.

The LFG tool is great, except they don’t alert you when you’re in the beta. I mean I just found out on Wednesday by just accidentally click on that tab…I mean come on, no mail nothing…How do you expect people to use it if no one knows they have it!

I think the LFG tool is the best thing about this update, very well done IMO

I love warriors, rangers, engineers and necros. But I do have a feeling that I am being “forced” to play a certain profession, like my warrior, she is lvl 40+ fractals and has full ascended gear that’s available. If every profession was treated the same I would be maining necro or engineer.

PvP and PvE situation for all professions are very different. It is impossible to balance both and make both sections of the community happy. It won’t work, it just won’t.

One guild can’t organize, servers are full and people who don’t know what to do. People should be disconnected after 10 mins if they are inactive. People stay online for 8 hours to get into their main server?

So please increase overflow size or fix so people who are afk for 10 mins get kicked because there are too many afkers when the fight starts and they aren’t kicked for inactivity.

As for people returning to Tequatl, you get 1 gold plus chance for huge rewards for 15 minutes of effort. I’d say it’s worth it.

Slowly but surely more and more worlds are slaying him. We have confirmation of success from Blackgate, Desolation, Tarnished Coast, Eredon Terrace, and even certain overflows. The case for nerfing this looks weaker and weaker every day, just like so many of us predicted.

Eredon Terrace attempt was done by another server (BG?). The same with overflow win (a group of guilds migrated there to avoid filthy casuals). All those other servers that have done it are the top population servers. The chance that any mid to low pop server will ever do it is decreasing from event to event, as fewer and fewer people show up.
So those that have done it will continue doing it for few more days (until they’ll get bored and will be unable to keep up the required level of effort), while those that haven’t done it will not do it. Ever, most likely. The event will end up dead on most servers, and a big guild occasional playground on few others.

By avoiding those filthy casuals they doomed the people who spent hours in an overflow just to get on the home server. They didn’t do it to help another server, they found the server with no overflow and most of them went there and won because their friends were stuck in an overflow queue that would last for hours. BG isn’t a good server to do it on because they’ve only had successful kills with the same people, and those same people aren’t doing it more than once a day.

And yes I agree, after these two weeks, say good bye to Teq. No one will ever do it, it’s not really feasible at all with just a makeshift group that has an idea of what to do. Lets be honest there is no real teaching being done, everyone knows the zerg stacks on the commander, the turrets spam 2 on teq and 345 on the zerg. That’s it, the problem is getting enough eles with conjure weapons to get teq below 75% health. Sad truth.

The biggest issue I see with the content is that in 2 weeks when the new Living Story comes out, many players will move on from Tequatl. As difficult as it may be now, and don’t get me wrong, I like challenging content, imagine how impossible it will be once people get their title and move on. Without some form of balancing, my prediction is that Tequatl will become an abandoned event.

Ele does lots of damage with their conjure weapons, and has good support when using a staff.

Hi John, please give Ranger melee pets a longer range for melee attacks because they will be rooted during the attack and its easy for enemy players to move out of their melee range.

Additionally, Lupicus and Liandri has made it very clear that they can one shot kill our pets and shutdown Ranger’s class mechanic for 45secs/60 secs. Something need to be done about this, either give the ranger a small buff when the pet dies (enrage or something) or reduce the time when the next pet can be up.

For all classes, no. But I’ve always thought this would be really fitting for warriors, as the ‘weapon master’ class. And let’s face it, their current class mechanic sucks like no other, so it could use the addition.

When I was lower level I used a condition based build. Dual daggers and dual pistols, spam death blossom and caltrops and kite the mobs in the trap, it usually kills most enemies. Keep up to date with your armor, it’s important since you are playing a squishy profession.

I gathered some yesterday in Cursed Shore (first character to do so in about a week). I’m not sure your problem, maybe just wait a little longer. Gonna gather some right now to see if I can find some.

I wish they would add the GW1 weapons as skins, I think ANET would probably get swamped if they were put in as skins because they look so much better than 95% of ANY of the GW2 weapons/armors.

I might cry if they introduce tormented weapons in RNG chests. That will be a sad day.

I believe they will add something more than ascended but will it be any time soon? Hell no. I think people want that instant reward for their work, I understand that these new weapons take awhile to get because some of the materials are only rewarded in certain parts of the game that are timed and plus the inflation. You don’t need to have it right now, take 2 steps back, pat yourself on the back for playing this long and getting what you got and enjoy the rest of the ride.

If you want to be effective in PvE scenarios you should probably put it on your warrior. I just recently experimented with my twilight on all professions that could use it, warrior definitely has the best effects across the board (even their downed skills change). If you don’t absolutely love mesmer GS, pick warrior, your team members will thank you for it.

Others professions are better, if you like open world, wvw, or spvp you should pick ranger if you like it the most because it doesn’t really matter what profession you are. But any type of really structured team play, guardian would be your best choice since rangers lack in support and damage especially when ranged.

I love my ranger, I use it for all open world events because longbow is so fun. But when I do dungeons I use my warrior because it contributes so much more, and pets are such a liability in dungeons especially if you don’t micro manage them every second.

I’ve been thinking about retiring my sylvari elementalist for a human or norn ele. I’m just not feeling my sylvari anymore but no way in hell will I delete her (she was made in the head start). It would just be much more beneficial to buy another character slot and make another ele.
