Solo as engineer. I only had 2 problems:
1) Veteran near Faren. Someone hinted me that I needed to kill that 2 normal mobs that are nearby very fast cause the transformed into that veteran. I did this and with a good dps build it was possible to kill the other mobs that got spawned by Scarlet very fast and rescue Faren within 3 minutes.
2) The mob groups after Faren and between the first boss fight. But with the right skills(I always forgot to change my skills a bit) it is easy to just run past them… at a later try when I tried a bit slower I noticed they move in grous and it is possible to “sneak” past them… at least I made it almost until the end when I got aggro… not perfectly sneaking but it was enough to not get downed.
The boss fights itself are easy. Easiest solo boss fights in living story so far(easier then Canach solo mode).
There should be no classes that have 1 killer build that pwns all the others(like the OP rangers atm). Also if all the classes were well balanced there should be at least 2 builds for each class that are played by a lot of players instead of having classes where in 90 percent of cases only 1 build is played(like rangers 90 percent with spirits atm).
Then it’s good.
It will work. In fact there are zerg fights of big zergs in WvW where the zergs sometimes fight only because they need to fight – far away from some objective. That’s not much different from a deathmatch… only that there are tons of players instead of only a few… and you don’t win and then it’ sover. After your zerg wins you move elsewhere and the others need to respawn and lose time.
It would work perfectly for sPvP and be more interesting… cause this way you could have small group fights 5 vs. 5 for people that don’t like the zerg fights in WvW but still want to fight. At the moment it’s boring because of the conquest mode you need to split to more points so it often is 1 vs. more…
A deathmatch were all of each group fight at one place could be interesting here. Could help to train teamplay and fighting together with others against others which also would help in other situations.
If it’s already lost then I also sit at spawn. Especially if it’s boring and the team is like “4 enemies are attacking 1 of our guys and take a long time to kill him before they can take the point and our 4 other guys are not capping the other points for some reason when there should be only 1 enemy left to stop them”.
Depends on the situation. Sometimes you can still win if it’s 150 vs. 350… but that’s rare… and usually you don’t want to play anymore in such cases. Often you already get leaver(now less because of the debuff) and if 1 other person already stops playing then it only makes sense to join instead of doing 4 vs. 5 trying to win what’s already lost.
Spirit Rangers are really annoying. I usually don’t like those classes with tons of pets like Mesmers and Necros… but I got used to it. Even that you sometimes have 2 Necros with full set of minions + rock dog… I got used to it.
But now the ranger with his full set of spirits and his pet(+maybe a rock dog) is really annoying. Especially if you play a lot of single targeted skills and it gets harder to target with all the blinds and invisibility(if other classes are nearby to give more stealth and stuff) cause you lose target and need to retarget.
I hope ArenaNet is going to to something to make Spirits less interesting(or will they buff other stuff like turrets and spirit weapons from guardians next so every class runs with 4-5 pets minimum?)
Also the percentage for buffs is high… when I selected the ranger and saw his buffs I was shocked to see 70% – this is probably traited? I remember this much lower… they must really have buffed it too much. With all that buffs from spirits and then stuff from their pet… some locations they are really impossible to kill with their long range and slowing you and doing a lot of damage and staying alive.
Really one of the easiest bosses. Thanks ArenaNet. I’m usualyl a noob and after the hard stuff I think it is nice to have some easy stuff like this. Even easier than the annoying Canach solo dungeon.
Solod this at first try(but with a bit dying). But was easy to figure out how it works. Going to do another try later solo without dying and then maybe with a group to rescue Faren in 3 minutes(don’t think my current class / build can do this solo).
I got a bug where it seems I completed already the next step… while doing portal invasions. He told me he needs “more components” or stuff like that and after a few sub-events or champs I got the counter to 3 when I only completed 2 at the meta… and still need to to the 5 invasions(seems it already completed the next step while this still is locked).
Is this the bug mentioned that has been fixed now?
So hopping is good? Yeah seems going with the zerg is not good cause they’ll just farm everything too fast. Hopping between others and let the zerg later finish it must be better. I’ll try that later.
At least you are making much more money than you need for WP even if you WP a lot(especially with the still reduced cost).
That’s what I’m doing now. I hope the others can complete the event. Waiting the last minutes somewhere out of combat cause I’m bored of all the zerging.
So is she really low HP or only dead fast cause of all the people zerging her? I mean the champs like champ aetherblade captain need some time to kill and she should have at least their amount of HP… or more cause she is the super boss.
Edit: And failed lol… probably too many people waiting and not doing fighting. Only few seconds left when she spawned and she spawned far away from nearest WP.

For the achievement this is not correct… at least not if you only join the last minutes. It seems you need to to a bit fighting for it to count. At my 4th fail where I only joined at the end I got rewards but no achievement. Still at 2 there.
(But it seems for Vorpp it is a bit bugged and I got messages and the Vorpp meta counting 3 when I still did not complete 5 invasions… seems I completed the next subevent already which is locked still).

For achievement: Also might depend on to which wave you get. The ones that failed for me which didn’t count to achievement I think we did not get too far.

Yeah. I read the blog notes. Only wanted to know what Xae Isareth told me. Did not know this from the blog notes cause you never know how ArenaNet means what they write… could still have meant that YOU needed to be there for some time instead of going there the last minute and gaining full rewards.
Any help on how to do this? Just joined the first time from the beginning of such an invasion. Took a bit to load and then I needed to wait 1-2 minutes at waypoint for the chars around me to load before I could move.
I ran to portals and to the commanders location. And I’m sure I where at least af 5 locations and killed at least 1 mob.
But did not get the achievement… I think because I didn’t get credit for all the portals. Only for 2 or 3…
How do you get credit for the event? Is it not enough to kill 1 mob(is hard to kill more sometimes cause the people are farming too fast and if you don’t get out of combat fast enough to port to the next you are too late). Or do you even need to “finish” these things that pop up after destroying mobs? Even harder with all the people doing it.
I guess this is a thing they could hotfix very fast? Considering it takes that much time to complete the event and it often fails(failed for me 3 of 3 times on Vabbi where I guested to avoid overflows).
I hope they won’t wait too long with the fix.
I also have an overflow problem. I can’t play that game for the whole day only to join the first 10 minutes… but then again it might calm down in a few days and we still have a lot of days to do the achievements.
(But there still might be a lot of people just to farm – so easy to farm there).
Joined to Vabbi – a low population server. There was no overflow and a lot of people… and of course out of 3 events 3 failed… because there were not enough people or many only joined late and it was slow.
Is there a difference in the rewards if you fail or complete the events? Did this 3 times and 3 times the server failed. I got different rewards each time… even though it was failing all the 3 times.
Are rewards different if the server completes instead of failing(other than being able to do Scarlet if you complete all the waves – for Scarlet achievement)?
Are there diminishing returns? Or does it depend on how long you stayed on that map(cause the lower rewards I got were when I only joined the last minutes and barely completey 1 small sub-event).
Also how does it count to the achievements that count the event completion? Is this random? I heard at Dulfy that for some people it counted failed events. Same for me. I did 3 failed and it counted 2. Unfortunately it did not count Fireheart Rise where I only joined the last few minutes(I could have needed this for the other achievement with Frostgorge and Fireheart).
So it might count if you fail… if you stayed there for some time long enough(and did not count for my last one because I only joined the last few minutes and did not complete enough sub-events)?
So they reverted the change and this means lower base Karma but you can use boosters again?
Cause if it only lowered the base Karma but still boosters were blocked it would be worse than before and the other peole that used their Karma items in the past would have had a huge advantage.
No. Only using keyboard to move(WASD). Managed to catch one with luck. But can’t catch more…
Seems it needs like 50-100 tries to catch one. Pretty hard. I’m always a bit near the location where the keg lands and the char does not seem to catch it(and moving directly to the landing location is a bit hard cause you only know it when he is already nearby and then he is landing 0.1 second later already ha ha).
People that manage to catch them often must be pretty good and have trained for hours.
I don’t think anyone can catch 5 in a row without missing one. Ha ha.
Edit: For some reason it worked now… much easier. I don’t know why. It seems you need to be “on the move” I tried to move to where it lands fast and then pressing som key or pressing nothing(I don’t think you need to press a key).
This never worked.
Jumping also didn’t work.
While I kept moving – only moving no jumping or pressing F(not stopping to press the move key) I even catched then when I was a bit more far away from where they landed(moving to far).

How did you get all the other stuff needed? Don’t you need to make lots of gold to get the other stuff for legendaries? And doesn’t this need a lot of dungeon farming(which is also repetitive and even more boring then completing the world cause it is always the same dungeons)?
Personally I try to get all my 8 chars to level 80 and complete the whole world with each of them – just because I like to have all the waypoints unlocked and the hearts to be completed(looks better when you press M to see the map). I think it is getting boring for the 2nd+ char.
But doing it with at least 1 char is good and interesting. Did not do all the JP at the beginning and visited all the maps again with my main much later… also these are very fun. Could be fun while completing the world to also look for them if doing hearts is boring(of course only if you like jumping).
Also from the beginning for every new char I made I tried to complete the level zones while leveling on the way to Lion’s Arch(for human and Norn not that much… for charr also a few norn areas between and for Sylvari and Asura both of that zones cause this completes that western part of the world).
Later moving to Orr and completing the stuff in that direction… always completing a whole map while leveling and doing personal story. So with my main I had human areas sout to Orr.
Did then the western part(sylvari/asura beginner zones)… then moving to eas – not randomly jumping. Looking much better when you press M if you complete maps and complete maps that are next to each other moving in one direction.

So you don’t need to press F key? Cause at the wiki talk page they mentiond pressing F key…
I don’t think anyone is doing this to complete the heart lol? When it just is so much easier to do the other stuff – and faster. Cause that “it takes a while” until you get the hang of it is a bit long… I mean 30+ minutes and not catching a single one is a bit hard.

@Sampo: I too never remembered a spot in the PvP locker for them. Always had them in my inventory because of this.
Going to use them now to free my inventory space and maybe activting one to test it a bit.
Edit: I’m getting quantity of 5 per item used. Meaning 5 for the 1 item I got dropped(thornroot).
Gift and Snowman I still had the 3 items from Wintersday I think. Got “remaining quantity: 15” (each 5). So I think it might give 5 uses… at least for the items I used. Didn’t see a timer but I haven’t activated one yet… maye timers only for other ones or the timer starts once you activate and you need to use your 5 uses from one item within a limited time?
Edit2: Cow and super exlosive go into the locker – limited use items. Also the other old rank finisher items… don’t know what to do with them now that these are permanently unlocked. ha ha.

I played from 5 percent to 70 percent at the old system… solo only. And I think there were a lot of other people that queued solo so I think it should be possible to do the same at the new SoloArena.
It will only take ages for everyone to get a rating. Even if you play a lot now you can still get tons of bad matches after 100 matches played cause the others still don’t have a real rating and trolls might be there(that will drop with the time).
Will take some time. A few months for the majority to have enough matches played. Not everyone is playing every day this is why it will take time.
For me I got some “map of the day”. One day 5-6 times out of 10 it was Kyhlo(and a lot of times also Foefire). Other day it was some other map. 1-2 maps more often.
But that really can be random. It is annoying… if matchmaking first matches 5 vs. 5 and then randomyl chooses the map… it would need you to play 1000+ matches(large number) to have an equal number of matches on every map.
They could just start different queues in the background where it matches you into a different map each time until you played each map at least 1 time and then starting again… but that would make the queue time higher(still not as high as if they let us choose the maps cause then everyone would just choose the favorite map and nobody would play Spirit Watch or Skyhammer).
There is Spirit Watch already. A real CTF I think needs more players. 5 vs. 5 only it would just be killing others instead of capturing the flags if you really have the long way from your base to enemy base and then back… to easy to kill the guy carrying the flag.
Maybe for 10-20 players pear team as a GvG/WvW mechanics.
They should improve it so it matches you into another match if you have playe one map already a lot of times…
Like creating the map first and then queuing people into it instead of matching people and then randomly choosing a map.
Is there a reason why there are suddenly that many spirit rangers? I’m not reading all the patch notes for other classes that I’m not playing. Did spirits get a huge buff in one of the last patches?
Cause I remember that I heard spirits were weak a few months ago and when rangers where op cause of some pet buff all only used wolf for fear and were kiting with their bows and traps but didn’t see spirits back then.
Now every ranger at least 1 spirit and a lot have all of them + their pet + rock dogs. Annoying if there are also necros…
targeting is not that easy. tabbing always selecting spirits and clicking is hard. Makes them really strong 1 vs. 1 if you don’t bring tons of AoE cause the single attacks go just at the spirits lol.
How are top stats awarded? Best from your team or best from the whole match(both teams)?
And do you get it if there is more than 1 person with the same amount(then both persons getting it)?
I’ve never been sure and couldn’t find info about it.
But I’m getting certain top stats pretty often and on Kyhlo with rare stuff like treb destroying I sometimes think enemy team got them more often and at least one of my team got the same amount than me.
So I think it’s best of your team and if 2 or more have the same amount all get it? Is this correct?

I’m also at the dog. Got Deadey by luck when match stopped with a win for me(must have been a bug cause the next one selected the same boss and it ended my fight early and send him in).
Really hard… that guy is throwing the meat too often and the dog is eating it too fast(like not a skill use time for him to eat it). Crippling works a bit… but is not unlimited and he still can outrun me especially if I don’t have additional knockdowns ready and he is far away. Tried everything… this is impossible.
I was lucky to get 3 meat but then he got more and more and was at 4 and 50 percent health. That’s the best I could do.
Yes… that still is okay. Cause it is only a problem with a few people. I think most are casual and only a small percentage is playing professional.
Let’s say 90 percent queued solo and are without rating now(and have a rating at TeamQueue when they never queued as team).
They are hurting us 90 percent by making us play bad matched matches for months now. If they gave us the old rating for SoloQueue it wouldn’t hurt… only a few pro teamers would have wrong rating and they would drop fast then cause they will be really useless without their team ha ha.
It will take 1-2 months of playing a lot for all players to get a real rating again. Of course will only work if the majority is playing at least a few matches every day to get like 100 matches or more in the next 1-2 months.
If only a few play and suddenly 90 percent of the players only start to play in 2 months they all will be unrated and we have crappy matchmaking again.
This all thanks to ArenaNets nice reset instead of taking the old rating and leaderboards for solo queue(where most people already played solo at the old system).
I doubt that a lot will not play and just start in a few months… but there might be a few that don’t have time every day that only start 1 or 2 weeks later after the patch… and then it takes time for everyone to play enough matches… 10-20 are not enogh cause they are your first ones against others that are not ratet at their “real skill” and don’t say anything.
100-200 matches for most of the players. I think it will take 1-2 months until we can get constantly good matches again. Until then constantly unbalanced stuff to be expected… like for me I have had about 10 losses in a row atm… and a lot were not close… got pwned big.
Old system I slowly worked myself up and got to 70 percent and got a lot of wins… good matches and close wins… that how it should be.
Can wait for this to happen again now for a long time thanks to reset/new start.
Atm I need only 1 more win for monthly achievement. Since bad matchmaking(they stole our old ratings which we got by solo queuing at the old system and copied them to TeamArena) I get often losses… atm 10 losses in a row.
Getting boring so I go afk a lot if it seems bad at the beginning already. Only moving the char a bit to not get a penelty.
I’d prefer if for the beginning they just returned our old ratings to us. Cause randomly mixing some people where you often can lose and play with people that were 10 percent at the old sytem against others from top 1000 is boring… and that’s just how it is atm until we all have played a few hundred matches and have a real rating again.
Pretty boring. No real reason to play… and of course not to win.
Give us our old rating so we don’t need to play 2 months of bad balanced matches until everyone gets enough matches for a “real rating”. Cause it groups you against much better people… I’m getting constant losses because of this.
Old system I finally was at the point where I worked myself up to 70% and got a lot of close wins. I think at that point everyone hat a good rating representing their skill. Of course now I have only played 30 matches and most against people that are new without a real rating… will take ages. I think 1-2 months and lots of playing because playing not a lot in a few days won’t help(if the enemies rating is not correct the win or losses can’t accurately change your rating to represent your “real skill”).
ArenaNet ruined it. I want my old rating which is now at TeamQueue… but I built this up playing solo most of the time.

I don’t know about their voice. But I think she worked as announcer for fights and used holograms.
I think we will see more regarding the watchknights with the next update? Isn’t this living story 4 weeks with another story update after 2 weeks?
Maybe they will get dismantled if more Aetherblades are hacking them again and if they aren’t save because enemies can easily gain access and control them.
I agree it is a problem that people love certain zones. But ArenaNet probably won’t be able to do something about it. If they make other and fast respawning champs at other zones the community will just choose the easiest and fastest to kill champs and visit that zone instead of visiting multiple zones.
Only way would be to set diminishing returns per zone(so you would be forced to move zones).
I’m not one of the lazy 80s(I think it is boring to farm that stuff… always thought people only do it because waiting for Behe which can drop precursors at the bonus chest but I’d just use timer websites then and visit the maps only few minutes before boss spawns but also this is boring… – always the same).
Queensdale always a lot of people have been there. Now Dulfy mentions near monastery the place where queen’s champions spawn for achievement and probably a lot of people are waiting for this ones too – takes some time to get all if you have bad luck and one just won’t spawn and only always the others – and then doing other events between.
The problem with chars not being able to level by only doing 1 zone also has been there for some time… I don’t think after completing the whole map and the personal story in that map when you are maybe level 12 it will be fun to just farm event until you are level 15 and can go to the next map…
Just doing other maps as it always has been recommended is much easier… also gives you map completion and world completion(maybe you want legendaries later and so it isn’t a bad thing even on 2nd+ char to complete the whole world). Also more fun than running around looking for events… Queensdale only was easy cause everyone is telling events in chat… if all the 80s left nobody would tell about the events in the chat then you’d have to “run around looking for events” which is boring and just going to another zone would be easier.
(Also place of power is in Queensdale – one of the easy places of power recommended by Dulfy so maybe a lof of people are placing one char there to login for daily charged quartz and then also doing a few events).
Why are you not doing other maps then? If you are a new player then maybe you don’t know… but if you are a veteran player leveling his 2nd+ char there you should know how to level.
You mentiond leveling so I guess it’s only about leveling?
You can just do the renown hearts and discover all the other stuff(complete the map). That’s what I am doing. Then doing the personal story. Usually this is not enough to keep up with the story level requirements. For my 2nd+ chars it’s not much of a problem. I just login every day and try to complete the daily on them and do an event sometimes to level so I don’t need to go to other maps.
For the first char(or if you want to be faster with 2nd+ chars) I’d recommend just to go to other areas. You can use the Asura Gate at Divinity’s Reach to get to Lion’s Arch and then using a portal there to the other major cities. From there you get to other low level zones that you can complete(usually 2 zones should be enough… hearts, vistas, poi, everything is giving XP).
Also you could craft a bit with collected materials while killing mobs(buying stuff only to craft probably not recommended should you be a new player).
It is intended. If it wasn’t intended they would have removed it by now. This has been known and used for a long time now.
Also they mentioned at the blog page for this update that cleverly using and combining the skills could lead to shortcuts.
So I believe they wanted players to find and use this.
Also there are enough of the random annoying shortcut skill items.
I still have some old finishers from events and I just got a new finisher dropped. Apparently they now are named “limited finishers” because you can buy that stuff at the gem store as permanent unlock.
How do the limited versions work?
I want to know cause they take inventory space and there is no collectible at the bank.
So I might use that items to free inventory space.
Is the limit a time limit? Or is it a limited amount of uses? Can the limits be stacked(by using more of the same item to free inventory space if you have 3 items of the same finisher and want to use them all)
If it is a time limit – will time only count down while you have the finisher activated? (so you can still save it by using the item but having another finishser selected)?
Not some serious problem – since I might buy normal bank tabs soon so I can just store the finisher items without using them. But still would be interesting to know how this works.

I got lucky and got him now… but with these low spawn probabilities it is very annoying.
Like 15-20 people came when I posted. One claimed he did that guy already 5 times today… but a lot of the others needed this one. And only this one. That’s why a lot came. He died fast then.
If I had to guess I’d say Whirling guy and Lightning guy about 40 percent probability each.
Hammer guy maybe 10.
And the gunner and shield guy each only 5 percent. Which means 1 out of 20… and of course if you get unlucky it can take hundreds… gunner guy I’ve seen 2 times cause I was lucky. But for the shield guy I had to wait. And this is boring. I hope ArenaNet continues to learn. Even if it’s only about 6 AP.
If they just rotated so each of the 5 one came in one order(and then restarting)… it would be much easier.
There are people that only have a few hours a day and they most likely want to play the game(all parts of the game and other stuff than using the hours for waiting only).
Still takes time…. loading time. And there could be no champ cause someone killed it so you’d have to wait.
I really don’t know why they couldn’t just make them same spawn probability… instead of the whirling guy coming in 80 percent of the cases.
The lighting fireworks was a better grind activity than this one… ha ha. Maybe they thought they made progress and made something more fun. But this really isn’t. Really only good thing is that there is only 1 achievement and the last tier where you need the super rare Stony Shield guy is only 6 achievement points.
Edit: Just tried guesting… Lightning Blade, Lightning Blade, Whirling guy.
Clearly there is something wrong. Not 20 percent probability each of the bosses. Whirling and lightning are more often than the other 3..
With hammer guy out of the other 3 the one that spawns most often… the gunner guy is also a bit rare. Haven’t seem him that often. Shield guy is rarest. Don’t get why they did it like this instead of equal probabilities.

I’m just porting around now… will cost a bit money… if I don’t find him I’ll stay at monastery a bit later again… if not today trying each day an hour or so until it get boring.
Guesting takes too long… logging out and then logging in again at another server… and then you need to check all the maps. Then I can just stay at my server and move to the different waypoints… good that I have a bit money.
Not an event for new players this time(cause you need money and you need to get to higher level zones for all the 30 balloons otherwise there wouldn’t be enough in low level zones only).
I would have preferred if the probabilities for them to spawn were the same for every boss… like everyone 20 percent… not some more often and that Stony Shield guy only very rare.
Hm… okay. Strange that someone else here where I’m waiting also only needed Stony Shield.
So we have to pay wo waypoint to all the balloons and then to pay for waypointing around to find the remaining champions? (Or walk and wait which takes a lot more time). That’s nice ArenaNet. … Only good thing is that this is the only annoying achievement.
Gauntlet stuff is hard but fun and the other stuff for kills where you need to represent the different factions is easy cause in one place. So I guess it’s okay to have this one very annoying and boring… probably not possible for ArenaNet to make it without one of these lol.
Where can I find this guy? I did all the 30 balloons for achievement. Also I got 4 champions killed. I’m missing this one. I heard you should wait Queensdale near the monastery but there are always other champions only.
Are there different champions in different regions(or different probability for them to spawn)?
I haven’t been in Ascalon. Did only the western part of the map for 30 balloons… so maybe that guy spawns more often in Ascalon?
Or is it totally random and everyone has the same probability so I just need to wait hours and hours in Queensdale near monastery? But that would be boring…
I’m not yet there… still need to bead Deadeye. But that next boss with the “Chomper” seems interesting. Is it possible to perma CC him(rifle knockback, big ol bomb, mine and ram)? Cause that’s what I usually like to do and I want to try this when I finally manage do beat Deadeye.
Got yesterday Temple of the Silent Storm very often. Today out of 4 matches I got 3 Spirit Watch…
Is there a “map of the day”? Hate getting grouped 3 times on this map with people that don’t know how to play it(cause usually nobody plays it and nobody wants to play it)… of course every match a loss.
I would prefer it if blocked me for this map until I played all the other maps 1 time and only then giving me Spirit Watch again… cause this way it is boring. Not really helping to have random maps then if you can’t play thousand matches and can get 3 times the same map if you only have time to play 3 matches.
Edit: Definitely something wrong. Of 6 matches 4 Spirit Watch, 2 Foefire. Only 1 time I won… it is prefering certain maps at least today Spirit Watch it seems… this is getting boring… trying to be afk a bit and only move every 1 or 2 minutes the char a bit.

Is it normal that mines sometimes disappear and then reappear? This also seems annoying… always run into a mine because of this…
Really expensive ha ha. All that tries. The mines are really annoying. I might try another class if blind really helps and there is perma ranged blind possible at long range with other classes.
Usually it was always the 3rd boss that was hardest(and other bosses including endboss easier) at tier1 and tier 2. This time it seems boss 3 is easy and that 2nd one now harder and also the endboss from what I have heard.
It does less damage at close range? Did not know this… so I can just stay near him and don’t even need to interrupt him(if all skills should be on CD)?
Might use some speed skills then to try to get near him and a mix with some interrupt and CC skill.
Not going for gambits on this one… the ooze is the easiest for this I think. Only killing to unlock the next boss. I will try to dodge… but seems hard to time… if you do it too early and then he shots when dodge ended it might be a problem ha ha.
Does he sometimes attack “summons”? I could use turrets as engineer. If they take the headshot(and also can do damge) it would be nice.
Hi, playing engineer. I’m having trouble with Deadeye at the moment even without gambits(but asking in the other forums already). I read the headshot is unblockable which seems to be a problem.
Subject 7 – the ooze already seemed easy for me without gambits. Also not killing any other oozes for the achievement(without gambit) was easy with a lot of knockback and doing fast damage(cause you need to kill him fast because of other small oozes healing and damaging).
I think with gambit and if you already have the other achievement it could be easy do just aoe damage him a lot. Bombs and stuff(I prefer bombs over grenades… also using the mines and used this against the pirates… the toolbelt mine skill if used and then directly detonated with the 5 small mines is good for additonal damage to damage fast) (I use damage / rifle build).
