Wasn’t bad. Millenium website does not show a big rating loss for us(Underworld). Millers were a bit stronger it seems(they even beat AG which had a little bit more rating than them). Also yesterday was national holiday in Germany and probably a lot are also not working today taking 1 day vacation if it’s a friday between some holiday at thursday and weekend.
I have not played that much… when I was online it often seemed we got pwned. But they just have better coverage even if there is no holiday. That’s why they are even stronger than AG.
Also as usually we often have outnumbered when we could have more players(last week even during week sometimes a short few seconds queue on EB). Players only playing when we are winning(if they still played now we could have even been better – more enemies = more loot if we had the zerg to fight).
Hoping for some good balanced matchup next week again(little bit stronger enemies so there is a kittenallenge – like this week – this is okay).
That would make sense. I think it says 3 chests and we were 1st last week.
Can someone explain why we get bonus chests again? I know back then when rewards were introduced you got bonus chests for the levels you leveld alread before they introduced rewards. Nice and fun. And worked as intended.
But after the recent patch it seems I have a few bonus chests again(not too many) on all my chars… even the ones I played WvW only after chests were introduced.
Some engineer with female char and char name called me hacker when I also played engineer and perma knocked her down or launched her cause I like to use a build that uses all of these possible skills(and we have a lot).
Was fun. But I’d also consider it the worst thing said cause that player should have known about the skills an engineer has and that this was well possible without hacking.
I lol’d.
The enemy could just also run in the water to kill you. Also usually there is no fighting there. Only if the buff appears(which is not that important – just let all the 5 enemies go there and block their movement at the exit to gate so you can recap all the other stuff very fast and they have nothing).
They could just make the water give a buff that stops healing skills or auto heal(if you get out of combat). Would be much better. Then nobody could run into water to heal up and you just can run after them finishing the last 5 percent health.
This is the same issue we have with earning glory and rank points. Revamping the way this works will be part of our rewards restructuring.
Any hint on when that’s coming (roughly)?

I just started to play again after some weeks break(only playing until monthly then waiting for next montha gain) and saw the changed Temple of the Silent Storm for the first time.
Why did the mid area got changed? Was much better before. Not it costs you even more time do fall down.
Before you just fell into the water without taking damage then going up using the crates and walking out. Now with all those platforms it is more annoying and takes more time. I don’t like this. Also it is looking stupid with that wooden bridge down there when there is no water.
Maybe revert the changes or remove that bridge there?
So does anyone know of there will be NO balance patches at all after WvW leagues start for the next 2 months(I think it is about 7 weeks or 2 months that league season 1?)
Or will there still be patches for smaller stuff and only bigger changes be delayed?
I hope the drop rates for WXP items from players are okay and not too bad. Yeah: Players playing a lot will even farm their ranks faster than now soon maxing everything.
But for players not playing that much it is a nice thing to help boost their progress a bit(and if you specialize and don’t try to get everything it might be possible for players not playing too much to max a skill).
Does not seem to interesting with the laurel cost but I guess they needed to limit it cause I’m sure a lot of people have tons of badges at their bank(especially with the badges from achievement chests and now the sieges buyable at trading post – no badges needed → more to farm and save at the bank).
I hope the drop rates for that items that should drop from player loot bags are going to be okay.
Don’t waste your high damage skills whie he is using some defensive skills and make him waste them all first so they are on cd. Of course if someone really is bunker he will be careful with that and it won’t be easy.
I think Moto should sell again other stuff. I think back in April he sold stuff you would get for Karma at some other places so you could save a bit Karma. I hope this will return with the next SAB release.
So you can at least trade som bubble baubles for more useful stuff if you don’t need more skins.

Yes it does. It is even better cause there are no equipment differences and no annoying siege. So go sPvP then and stop complaining here.
This thread should be closed. Wrong forums. This is WvW forums, not GvG. Maybe you could try it in sPvP forums – I know they want people to duel at Custom Arenas(so they can make money selling them). Might be also a solution for some nice 10 vs. 10 GvG to go there.
WvW really is not the place to do GvG. It’s meant for servers to fight each other. Of course you still can try GvG – nobody can stop you. But then you can’t complain about others interferring.
I think everyone of the players should just transfer to the winning server to make that server even stronger and make the queues much longer and then queuing for hours to get the achievements to qualify for rewards.
Will be fun to see this happening. And we all know it will happen – not with all players but with a lof of players. And most people complaining will be from top winning servers about longer queues.
I for myself will stay at my server. Don’t have the money to transfer and I don’t care about some small rewards.
I noticed in WvW that I had to go far to the edge of a wall to use this against people down there while defending. Didn’t use staff that much so far… so I thought this might have been a line of sight requirement or just that it is the range(because of height difference in wall).
Tried this at some other place and it seems it is line of sight requirement.
Isn’t that strange? At some other topic I read about Dragon’s Tooth which apparently has no los requirement?
Why not the same with Meteor Shower? I mean the Meteors appear out of nowere magically from the sky. Why would this need LoS? Will this skill get fixed in the future?
I mean even ACs don’t need LoS and it is enough if you(= not your char – no LoS) can see the target within your client.
If they want a restriction they should make it that you can’t use that skills in caves like pangloss mine or dredges(and then also disable arrow carts – makes no sense for them to be able to shoot there… at least not at that range which requires them to be shot high into the air which isn not possible in such places). I know it is not possible for the skill to detect this automatically because of the engine. But there could be just buffs manually placed at such places by the map designers.
Ha ha okay. I always thought it should go down first… then up later(when no new stuff can be farmed and the remaining ones are selling out and only few left at high price). But it really might be that a ton of people are waiting for price to go up(leading to supply getting low already now and price getting higher with supply higher later when a lot are selling at high price).
Are people manipulating the market? Or could something else explain why the price for pistol went up? I’d thought it would went down nearing the end of SAB with people putting their remaining stuff on the trading post(lowering the price).
But again it is going up… when I checked greatsword at april it also went up near end of april(then down again later).
Seems like someone with lot of gold is buying the cheaper stuff and putting it at higher price at the tp cause he is hoping to make a lot of money when SAB gets removed and people want to buy skins?

I got “rubberbanding” in SAB where I was by myself. Usually only problems with tons of players nearby(where it seems serverside skill lag then).
No disconnects. No crashes. Only that “rubberbanding”.
Not running any other unusual stuff besides the game client(only the usual stuff I’m running all the time without problems or lag).

I censored stuff like my computer name and username with ******. 192.168.10.58 is the IP of my computer in my home network. 192.168.10.5 the internal IP of my router.
At least 300 should be on a map. What is it now? 200 probably is too low if you need 150+ at the Tequatl and if others still want to do map completion(you can’t forbid low lvl guys to complete there maps there) or some people might be afk(staying all the time afk on that map cause they don’t want to get on an overflow and “reserve a spot”… and maybe don’t make it back in time to fight when the event is up).
Afk timers won’t help if people just press some button permanently(they put some weight on that button)… which is not against the rules cause it does not cause an advantage(they can’t farm like that if they only move against a wall).
They would need another system. Like letting you type a random number every 5 minutes.
Best I saw was 90 percent yesterday on an overflow. Still hoping for HP reduce or time increas or that they increase the rewards so it’s worth to stay online 8-9rs waiting only at one map(so you won’t get in an overflow) to be lucky to maybe get one try where he gets defeated or lover than 75 percent.
Edit: And I always leave if af 75 percenf of time(remainint time 11 min 15s) it is only about 2-3 hp damaged and not 25 percent damaged. Then I know it already is fail.

There should be at least guaranteed exos – and not only one(with chance on precursor cause precursors are exo).
And of course every ascended weapon that drops(chance should be lower) should be with the new skin.
Wouldn’t make sense for Tequatl to drop the normal ascended skins you already can craft.
I mean… it takes a lot of time for the casual player: You have to try hundreds of times and guest on servers or stay on your home server and be lucky not go get into an overflow.
Best I saw so far was 90 percent – only 10 percent damaged. Cause I’m only logging in once a day to do one try… I can’t wait the whole day for hours for him to respawn to try 3-4 times a day.
We’re considerign the fact that he’s a World Boss, so he doesn’t take crit dmg, that’s why we prefer classes that can convert a def stats in power and have alot of utility, stun breaker, and satbility.
Interesting. I did not know that. Is this somewhere mentioned that these bosses don’t take critical damage? I know from some mobs where it says they are immune to CC(in the bar where there boons and conditions on them are shown that “defiant” and “unshakable” stuff).
Never noticed such a thing for crit damage. Maybe a lot of people don’t know… of course it would lower the damage per second dramatically if a lot of people in zerg use precision when precision actually can be at minimum and everything focused on power instead.

Is that a reasonable requirement for all servers? Is that an amount of players that most servers would be able to gather for this event?
I heard 130+ top geared people all with teamspeak.. and they needed a few tries to manage it.
Timer needs to be at least 1 hour so maybe some servers can get it to 75 or even 50 percent(50 might be possible for most servers if a lot already can get it to 90 meaning 10 percent damage i 15 mints… 40 percent in 60 minutes).
More than 1 hours would probably make it too easy for the “top servers”.
But 1 hour should be okay. Weaker servers might learn slowly and still can get some success at the beginning when they are able to get him to 75 for next phase…(instead of having to wait and train for a few months stuck at 90)
Best I saw was about 90-95 percent on an overflow. But we had only about 80-100 people and not the required 150+.
Also I think not everyone was full ascended berzerker dps build with level 80. That’s why we can’t damage him enough.
Not every server is like Blackgate with 150 full ascended guys camping the map waiting for him to spawn.
Other servers: Everyone joining maps and also people doing map completion.
Hard to get that many full ascended people there. Even I only have exo and still want some achievements but probably Í’m not helping much cause you need to be top geared.
So far I haven’t seen anything that would qualify as “new content”.
At the start orbs got removed. – No new content.
Then we got some boring and grindy ranks and boring wvw abilities. – No new content. And most casual players won’t get high in ranks and won’t see much of those abilities.
Now the bloodlust buff… – No new content. Buffs are no real content. Map change is nothing huge.
New content: Make a new maps or stuff like that. New sieges and real new mechanics. Not only that small alibi stuff.
1 release of living story pve is more content than WvW got since release.
Maybe instead of making it account bound they could redesign to make it stop being that grindy.
For example just give us 80 wvw levels that we can complete very fast(even if we have more chars and if it is per char).
Then just let us chose a few skills for wvw like the trait system.
Much much better than boring grind where they make thousands or ranks where you need to grind to get every boring new(they are not really interesting) wvw skill. Cause grinding is boring.
For leveling up at 80+ there should be special points that should be used for WvW stuff(upgrading siege only with them for example). Would still be an incentive to buy boosters then if upgraded siege could get rarer that way.
Lol fun. They completely should remove that 50 percent buff.
I can’t use it yet. From the patch notes it seems there is no WvW? Should be included as the bloodlust and capture points now need a lot of small groups probably. Would make it easier if there are no guild groups sometimes and most only running with the main zerg. (and you don’t want a commander only for there to draw away people from mani zerg)

No. Because it’s the only interesting booster in the gem store. They’d lose a lot of money then.
I mean who needs glory booster from gem store when you get hundreds from playing sPvP. Who needs normal XP booster when you get to 80 very fast(fastest MMORPG I know). After that you can even use skill scrolls now if you need a few skill points to buy stuff.
Karma… okay could be interesting with the nerf.
MF certainly not that important that I’d buy a booster (also we have hero banners and stuff).
Only make it give points per finishing. Remove the stats advantage(makes stronger servers even stronger).
Also: Switch garrison with spawn WP location.
Will make it easier for weaker servers to defend while still not making it overpowered cause a few of that points ar more away from garrison.

Actually I think the spawn should be where garrison is… and at spawn location should be the garrison. Wouldn’t that be much better design of the map?
Defender’s WP on garrison at BL should be permanent as long as they hold the garrison. Otherwise the stronger servers will pwn too much cause they easily get the 3 buffs… and Defender’s can’t easily go back there(harder to move there cause of the hills and falling damage – easier from attackers spawn to move to the buff area).
Of course weaker servers won’t have a WP cause they often lose the garrison… so WP needs to be permanently there if they take back the garrison it should auto enabled.
WP is really fast… I noticed. Not that much time to swim and then use those jump platforms.
I just tried this the first time. They often died at the turret so even I could get that achievement and try turret 1 time.
Mabe for some it is hard to target(at lest then it is only using skill 2 and no ground targeting). For me it was easy(I though it was harder to somehow select and target him from that far away).
Can someone from the devs confirm that the dailies you need for the meta will be very easy(like “be there when he attacks”)…
Cause atm it seems stuff like defeating him won’t be possible – which would make the meta achievement impossible.
Definitely the HP are too much. Or not enough time. For this amount of HP at least we should get 60 minutes timer.
Turrets need to be attacked more by 1-hitter attacks so they need to leave and others can take the turret. Aren’t there shockwaves and stuff?
I read fight is only 15 minutes… and since it is hard and can’t be farmed that easily this is how it should be – permanently.
Would allow for better planning so you don’t have to go there and wait for 2 hours just to get your achievements.
I can understand for easy fights where they don’t want them to be farmd.
But for this it would be okay(if not nerf rewards). Much better. I hate this 2-3 hours only and random when I don’t have much time at the day and log in and have to wait 2 hours… and then maybe miss it if I go afk or off doing other stuff.

You have to be in a 500 man guild where you don’t even need the lfg tool.
Ok then that guy trolled ha ha. So how long is that boss? Can this fail early(like if something gets destroyed you need to defend)? Or is it a fixed time after which it fails? (like scarlet invasion is on 45 minutes)
That’s bad… I hope at least normal mobs nearby or spawned during event drop a lot of normal loot… someone in german forums where I asked said they drop NOTHING.

Haven’t tried the boss yet… but I heard atm it fails a lot cause people don’t know yet how to kill it.
How are the rewards on fail? I surely don’t want to waste tons of time for failing and getting nothing.
Is it like Scarlet some tiered rewards (like getting him half dead is already giving good rewards and the best stuff only when you kill him completely)?
Totally okay. I’m not making a lot of gold cause I want to level all chars to 80 and complete the maps with all of them. So not much time to farm.
But still okay and enough to change to gems… or I could buy gems with real money.
I don’t need much guild bank from my 1-man-guild… cause it only stores non-bound stuff and I have a lot of account bound skins and crafting stuff.
The best storage is your own bank… and with the increase of tabs now… this is nice(and I’m not storing like 10 armor sets per char lol…. only wearing 1 armor on each char… so I have a lot of free bank space. only using 4 tabs atm). Bank is worth the 600.
More bag slots only to farm better and not having to go to vendor that often. You don’t really need them for stuff you carry around permanently.
The 400 gems price is fine. Also I think sometimes they are on sale(of course that won’t happen to often and you don’t know it before it is on sale cause they don’t want you to wait and plan to buy cheaper).
Allow me to clear this up.
1. The meta will be available for 2 weeks.
2. The Tequat’l fight is permanent content; Rox and the dragon clue hunts will go away after 2 weeks.
3. “Boss Week” is a Shark Week joke.
