So do you think the basic blue skins will return? I was thinking about this… now they gave us only the new blue skins and the old ones did not return at Moto where you can buy for baubles.
Would be strange if they made only tribulation skins at World 3 and 4…
I also fear the old skins all might return(maybe at World 3 the first set and at World 4 release the 2nd set we have now).
Then really it might be best to sell now.

It seems the drop rate is much higher than last time – at least for me… got 3 skins and last time not even one. But that might just have been luck this time.
I was suprised when I saw price about at 5g for the first 2 skins and at my 3rd skin the pistol it was about 15g and only a very few pistols at the market.
Should I wait or sell now?
It seems pistol is used a lot and some favourite weapon like greatsword – so the price is higher…. but then again people might get more pistos in the next 2 weeks the box still is ingame. And peopel might have some in their inventories that they haven’t put at the market yet. So probably price will drop a bit first?
But do you think it will rise a lot later? (like to about 20-30 where greatswort is now)?

Thanks to the guy that messaged me ingame that offered to help. But I think I prefer to use the forums.
I think if you are carful you can stay alive long with every class and build… and of course if bigger enemy zerg is rushing you you always will die no matter how tanky.
So I looked a bit at the traits and skills and at the moment I’m trying signets + some other combo traits that buff auras and fury stuff + trait which makes signet giving that fire aura thing.
Not like the 20k damage you usually read in forums about but I’m still trying and only using mainly green lvl 80 gear at the moment. The 2-4k damage I’m getting is still fun at the moment(and most classes don’t have that much hp and getting hit by more other enemies and not only me in zerg fights so it is good for the start). Also giving good loot.
You won’t see them prime time,they will all be in bed sleeping so they are fresh for early morning,before anyone else gets on.
In fact they are still playing at other times… at least at EB. I can only explain our high score points from reset where we some time even were 1st… probably a lot of our players stopped because they don’t want to fight stronger enemies.
Again no queue yesterday and today when I played. And it is not night. It is weekend and afternoon….
and at EB it constantly is like 20-30 from us UW getting wiped in 5 seconds by perma 80 man zerg MS.
And I know we could have 60-80 also… if more people played and we had queue(with still doing tons of people other stuff making the zerg smaller but big enough to fight other zergs).
After engineer(main) and guardian(my 2nd char) I want to try my 3rd char – an elementalist – in WvW. I only played him to 80 + personal storyline in PvE… with boring double dagger and some trait that gave might when attacking with fire attunement(so staying like a noob most of the time in fire and not like a pro switching attunements all the time).
Now I want to play a bit different… I heard staff is recommended in WvW(cause of some field that can give swiftness) and Scepter Dragon Tooth is good to hit stuff on walls?
So should I mainly use staff(I only want to run in big zerg and stay behind the zerg ranging… for small group fights I’d prefer to use my engineer) and sometimes a bit scepter?
What equipment recommended? Can I go full berserker then? Or still some toughness or vitality… or even a bit condition damage?
And most important: Which traits are recommended?
Actually it’s much better cause now I’m just playing 1 char. Back then when I played other chars I also wanted to upgrade them with all the items(took some time to buy everything). Now I’m just playing my main.

I only do that stuff with guides. Takes some time and I don’t want to miss baubles. Those achievements are a pain. Would be enough if there were the secret rooms and a few chests but not every single bauble.
So that Josh Foreman guy got removed from ArenaNet’s dev team and now we are not getting any more patches, bugfixes for SAB? (Cause there are a lot of known bugs and there was at least 1 other hotfix only fixing other stuff)
That’s bad… considering it is only temporary content. Should be fixed fast so we all can do it within time. I don’t want them to fix it 1 day before SAB will get removed and then being forced to play exactly at that 1 day.
Several bugs for me in W2, Z2 Tribulation mode(did not check other modes):
Near the end sometimes the infantile cloudes appeared. I could neither jump/touch the clouds nor the rainbows. So not real bug abusing here… did not want to restart and completed it. First I thought this were to mislead you to make you jump to the cloud so you fall to death…
but in Dulfy’s video I did not see clouds.
(Also sometimes in World 1, Zone 1 the traps appear at the beginning from tribulation mode… but only for 1 second shown and then disappearing)
Might be related to which mode you played earlier on that map… I think I played infantile earlier to get all baubles on that Z2.
Then checkpoint bugged as mentioned above. The one after the platforms with the portals. 90 percent it spawns me in traps without kiling me(I just jump forward and proceed – walking out of the traps probably kills). 10 percent it insta kills me.
Also the cloud save after that checkpoint is bugged – spawns you back at that checkpoint always.
I can’t get it to work. 90 percent of the cases it fails… but then again I’m usually double tapping to dodge and have the jump on spacebar. Now walking with w, then pressing v and spacebar seems a bit hard and I’m too lazy to change key mapping. Also I have an old mouse not some gaming mouse with tons of buttons.
I just learned to do all the jumps without dodge jumping. Just completed everything up to World 2, Zone 2 Tribulation Mode without dodge jumping(thanks do Dulfy’s video guides).
Doing Zone 3 tomorrow and then waiting for news on the Master of Baubles.
What really helps while jumping: Try not to look at the location you are jumping to… then often you jump too early… just look at your char… and make sure he is jumping from the very edge.

So is this confirmed bugged? I mean why isn’t it fixed then? There have been other fixes where this was not included. Maybe not a bug but a very well hidden bauble? Maybe a dev should give an answer here.
If there is no official post explaining this I doubt the made those recipes for us to only save some clicks…
There is still so much other stuff ingame where you need tons of clicks. (sPvP opening chests and salvaging is the worst)
Hoping for more recipes in the future that use these essences(maybe some temporary MF potions for a temporary buff to craft with artificer)
I saw at the Wiki that there are recipes to convert lower quality essences of luck into higher quality essences.
But why would anyone want to do this?
Are there other recipes that use essences of luck? (Or maybe will there be some in the future?)
Maybe let us convert essences into karma… since karma got nerfed(and apparently the daily karma got nerfed because of these essences… if we could convert the players could decide what’s more important for them).
In the German forums some guys also couldn only get to 32/33. As mentioned above some cloud in Z3 is bugged. I think it wasn’t bugged before. So most people got 31/33 before the fix and then up to 33… and people that start only now can’t get to 33 because noe what other cloud is bugged and can’t activated(others that tried before the fix got this already and then the 32,33 after the fix).

He also has a screen. You need to go through the bridge with the yeti on that platform(that you can kill or just ignore him) instead.
You don’t need to get all the weapons… underwater lol. Just take 1-2 weapons for each of the 2 or 3 of your most played chars. Takes still a while… but a lot better than making full sets of all weapons for each of the all 8 classes and all the weapons they can use.

Timer on opening of the chest. Problem solved. Only if you opened the chest the timer should start.
Edit: Another question: Can you complete the same zone again at the same day and open the chest if you couldn’t open it the first time? Or does this still count as “opened” for that day and you have to wait 1 day because of the daily restrictions?

Can someone explain how this works with skin items? Like the items you can’t equip that only give a skin for example the ones you get from SAB at the moment.
Does this give you back the skin item you can use on another item then(without having to use a transmutation stone cause skin items always work without stone)?
And is this account bound then? Cause I’d buy the splitter if I could give get some skins(especially limited ones that you can’t get anymore) back and move them to other chars.

I think it is intended. While not mentioned in the description of the achievement I think they want you to complete it in normal mode. Otherwise you could complete all the achievements in infantile mode without every doing 1 full completion each zone in normal mode(cause all the other stuff that isn’t tribulation can be done in infantile mode).
If you care about death count(and I don’t know why anybody would care about this – there are no achievements) then make a new char and never play it. ;-)
I didn’t even get to Liadri. Always died at the boss with the dog eating meat. Also some stuff with 5 gauntlets I did not do.
Clocktower I needed 8 or 9 hours of training before I could do it but then it worked most of the time.
World 1 was fast and easy once you figured out the boss(which was not that hard). Shortcut I only found with guide – this made it even faster.
Baubles collecting needed some time with guide… without guid probably even longer and certainly not only 1-2 hours.
I guess it’s different for everyone. Some also did clocktower pretty fast and some never made it and I’m sure they have needed a different amount of time at SAB and being good at one thing does not mean you are good at other things.
For example the clocktower was only jumping.
World 1 looking for all baubles is also boring searching the whole zone for all the stuff(or use guide if you don’t want to search for hours).
4 weeks from release I think. I asked and a dev said “will stay whole month” so I think 4 weeks from september 3rd.
I know a lot of people hate Skyhammer and hate it even more than Spirit Watch. Back then Spirit Watch was the most hated map.
I think Spirit Watch is worse than Skyhammer…. not because of the map(I like the mechanics).
But it seems most of the time(90 percent losing on this map) the team is kittened…
doing stuff like: 4 of your other guys try killing 2 enemies at orb and take ages do do so. 3 other enemies capture all the points(which lets them tick fast) and 1 of course can’t kill all the 3 guys.
Or stuff like: Enemy capturing orb. Your guys fight somewhere near the orb some other enemies instead of just focusing the orb carrier that usually dies fast.
It’s a really annoying map. Most of the time I want to afk after the first few minutes.
Only thing that is worse is at Temple(which fortunately doesn’t happen often) where 4 of your own people try to kill 1 or 2 enemy guardians at 8:30 bottom buff while the other enemies get all the capture points cause nobody there… and the time it takes until you kill the guys down the enemy is getting a lot of points – I usually run up then if too many own people are down. Even if a lot of enemies are down. Better staying up and fast recap and then stopping all the enemies at gate when they walk out of that area down there.

Had this 1 time in normal mode when I finished the first time. Pain in the kitten . You can’t respawn on checkpoint and no /suicide command unfortunately(they should implement this!)
Happened when I tried to jump forward like in Dulfy’s video. After hitting the log… it was “free” and when I was in the air the log came back while I still was in air from jumping.
From now on I always go left or right before moving… after hitting the log. Not jumping forward.

I’m sure Dulfy will release the last guide soon. Last guide that might take a bit longer to write. Then the other tribulation mode video guides that still need to follow should be faster(just a playthrough and not endless collecting stuff that takes time).
Normal mode collecting all baubles also needs guides if you don’t want to spend endless hours of looking for secret rooms and lots of tries where you think you got all the baubles when you forgot some secret room somewhere.
Health potion "upgrade" is a downgrade...

I don’t care if it’s 25 cause I barely use the potion. Considering there might be future upgrades(probably at least 1 upgrade that fills 3 hearts in world 3) it should be a bit lower but still higher than 10. 15 or 20 would be okay.

After playing a bit I don’t think it is “too hard”. Yes probably without guide it is “too hard” for a lot of players. I only play with guide. Still some hard jumps and not that easy. But okay(the tribulation mode).
It’s more about “too long”. And that is only a problem with collecting baubles and stuff like that(and killing assassins). 1 small disconnect or forgetting 1 bauble and you can do all the stuff again.
But I remember it being harder in world 1 back then when all the guides let you kill all mobs and destroy stuff in shops cause nobody was sure about which baubles counted.
The stuff with secret rooms is okay. Collecting baubles stuff is a bit annoying. Maybe a “visit all secret rooms and open all chests in 1 playthrough” would be okay for future zones.
Just wait for World 4 tribulation mode zone 3. I’m sure they’ll make it hard so even you can’t complete it after 1000 tries. But then probably even you will complain. ;-)
I agree with udiedhowyafeel on the guides. Some people seem to be offended if others use a guide and get the achievement much easier.
But think about it… if nobody used guides then probably only a very small percentage of people would complete this. That’s not what ArenaNet intended.
Even with the guides some jumps are hard doing stuff like collecting baubles takes a lot of time… this is not about being hard or easy. And even Dulfy has a lot of help when making these guides(people helping her and sending her info or telling her of easier ways to get stuff).
A lot of people just don’t have that much time. Yes I know you can do all the stuff in a few hours but I’m not that fast. For Clocktower back then I needed 8-9 hours of training… then I could pass it 60-70 percent of my tries. Others did it in 30 minutes training or just at the first or 2nd try without problems.
On SAB I hear people saying “takes only 20 minutes” when I need 1 hour even with guide. Not everyone is pro and can do the tribulation mode without guide at first try with less then 50 deaths and then at 2nd try immediately without dying and in less then 10 minutes farming per zone.
Also a lot of people work and have other hobbies or other video games to play. Considering it takes a lot of time to complete all this stuff – even with guides – it is totally okay to use these guides.
That’s the fun in MMORPG. People can have fun using guides. Others have fun without guides… and then some people have fun to make these guides and being thanked by thousands of other players that use the guides.
There shouldn’t be a timer. This would solve all problems. I don’t see why there a timer is needed. It’s not WvW or sPvP and most people solo it. Should not be a big problem to the server if the player is spawned back to hub or if he stays there a bit longer.
I usually go afk longer only if I’m in a safe place(shops are best).
I got everything – Bachelor of Secrets and Bachelor of Baubles + the achievement for killing all the ninjas. 1 Playthrough with Dulfy’s guide. Worked for me.

That’s strange. I did not have this bug. And I completed world 1 + bonus level on normal mode in april.
Maybe you also have to wait for bonus level to finish(where it automatically teleported you to 2-1 in april and now it finishes and sends you back to hub).
You did everything on normal mode? (cause if you only did infantile it shouldn’t unlock normal mode of world 2)
I can confirm the bug. I’m at 31/33.
Got 30 when I died near the Yeti. I think going to the Yeti gave it and it was a lag/visual bug. Sometimes there is delay. I already noticed this with other achievements.
31 on killing the endboss.
No 32, 33. Please fix this. Makse sure all the 33 are on the way up and not missable cause if you need to search away from the clouds nobody would find it.
I followed the good and “bad” paths at the clouds and went in the shop with the torch(did not go in other shops cause there weren’t any others on the way where hands pointed to)
Are they only different color(so I can just look for videos from the blue ones to see the animations or for an ingame preview)? Or are animations a bit different for the harder to earn tribulation weapons?
Yeah there are a lot of titles… and I always switch to the next one and newest one. But still it would be nice.
Remember birthday and clockwork invasion and gauntlet? Tons of minis(from gauntlet) and other items for the inventory(krytan torch, mini balloon and the clockwork tonic). Sure it’s nice… but it needs more and more inventory(maybe they want you to buy more bank space for gems lol).
I’d prefered if there were a title… for example for doing all the 13 invasions on the 13 areas. I know it is not “hard”… but titles don’t need to be hard every time. It still was a lot of work to do that stuff. And story titles always are nice. They show you have been there at that time and played the game and did that stuff.
For tribulation mode atm it only is the skins(that I don’t like). I’d prefer more titles for the future… and less items I don’t use. Titles don’t use bank space.
And it feels strange to have titles for easy stuff like wintersday and halloween and later stuff without titles… when you still had to “work” a lot to complete everything.
I think it is required… did this in infantile mode and had to stop there. The direction it shows is directing you into the shop selling the torch and the villager is telling about it(candle not strong enough).
Why aren’t there more titles? Last title I remember was from Sanctum Sprint… and that was only from an activity. Now we have the one from World 2 SAB.
But why weren’t there other titles for Sanctum like for doing the story(I liked this back then when you still got story titles for Halloween and Wintersday for example)?
Nothing for Queen’s Gauntlet and the Clockwork Invasion and birthday.
And now not even for Tribulation mode. What if I don’t like the weapon skins? Then I can only do it for achievement points(which is not that bad – a good thing to be able to get a lot of them here). But I preferred less achievement points + title to show everyone I completed it.
The way it is now I’d need to equip one of the skins to show this.
We need more titles ArenaNet. I don’t think it hurts or is hard to implement. Please more titles.
You aren’t supposed to get all the skins. I think you should choose 1 or 2 weapons you like most for your main or for 1 or 2 chars.

I agree on the bauble nerf. Should be once per day per character again since you need a lot for the hard mode and even for normal mode world 2 at the beginning until you are good enough to do it with less dying.
If they want: The chance on a rare non bound drop you can sell could still be once per account per day to not flood the market… but the bubble bauble and the stuff you can buy for it are account bound. So not a problem if this is farmed even if people delete chars and make new chars to farm more.
Or they could just make the coins non bound so you could sell them at TP(but then probably nobody would buy the unlimited coins for gems anymore).
The way it is at atm I’m not really in the mood to try farming all the stuff. Going for 1 normal playthrough and then skipping all the achieve cause I’m sure I’ll die a lot and I need coins then.
So who is taking a break and skipping SAB?

I’m thinking about skipping SAB. Sure skins are nice… but then again next events there will be other skins and you switch to them. Same with the title. Also there’ll be a lot of other achievements to get AP in the future.
I don’t think it’s worth the trouble. Just tried tribulation and it is really hard and not fun.
Normal mode seems okay… but then personally I already thought it was boring to look hours with a guide for all the small baubles to get all the achivements.
I don’t think this is fun. Fun: Running it 1 time with normal mode just to “complete” it… but spending hours looking for the small baubles… that doesn’t seem fun to me. And the achievement isn’t worth the trouble.
Anyone else thinking the same way?

It is harder than World 1 – at World 2 I died at infantile mode a lot. But I’m sure I’ll get used to the new toads and traps and stuff.
But tribulation mode… tried this world 1 zone 1… too random lol. There should at least be hints so you could find away and not die randomly from some invisible stuff.
Thanks for fixing the rangers. Makes only sense for the CD to start only when the spirits die. A lot of other classes have similar mechanics.
4 weeks again and the other big update at September 17th with the LFG tool and other stuff will be additional? Or will box also be removed then already?

Is it normal to get 10k additional glory per match from the birthday present booster that should increas only by 100 percent? (and 10k seems a lot more than 100 percent)
Noticed this at a lost solo arena match.
No voting. Or people will only vote maps I don’t like.
I only hope gifts for legendaries will stay at 400 and we won’t need to craft tons of useless exos to get to 500.
