No point in making low lvl equip hard to get. You outlevel it too quickly.
Probably noone crafted them yet. People hate underwater combat mostly
Same here. Finding 2-3x more dyes than usual.
People with 4000+ achievement points abused a bug which gave over 500 points per hour. I think its fixed now.
good idea, but was suggested before. Hopefully they listen
I bet halloween exotics will go up again (at least to 2/3 crafting costs) after people stop panic selling them. But for now its good for me, since I got new skins for my collection for a low price :p
Sounds like price manipulation.
Icy runes are meant as a gold sink. Doing Claw of Jormag 100 times is easy with the help of the player made timer websites.
there is no thing such as democrazy in tyria. Thank the spirits of the wild for it
5 dungeons take less than 2 hours if you just want to complete it for the monthly and you will also make over 2g during it.
No support, making 119g is easy, farming Orr gives like 2.5g an hour.
When a feature gets removed because of hackers you know the fail is epic.
Maybe tie their droprate to the average trading post value (only buy orders). If its worth below 1g, reduce droprate, if it becomes worth more than 1g raise droprate dynamically to keep an equibrilirium.
I think Halloween weapons might be underpriced currently, considering crafting costs several times as much as buying them from the TP. It reminds me to buy a mad moon shield for my guardian and warrior before it goes up.
you can buy a maximum of 7 additional bank tabs I believe
I laugh at people who think buying low and selling high is a honest way to make money. You raise the price for people who want to buy items for personal use and add nothing to the economy, except maybe removing some money by paying the trade taxes.
Its not like in GW1 where there wasnt a worldwide trading post. Traders added to the market there by saving impatient people time. Thats not the case here.
So playing the market = market manipulation.
And dont tell me its like that in real life, too. Thats unfortune enough. Why do we need these silly practices in virtual fantasy worlds?
What I can understand are long term investmens, like you assume rare item xyz will have more uses in future and stock up on it. But buying items with the whole intent of reselling it quickly after it stupid.

What happened to the event ending at 1st nov 19 GMT? Its 2nd nov 0gmt now and still no end to halloween.
No support, there are already many people who bought t3 cultural armor.
I know how scaling works. A lvl 35 in AC is definatly worse than a lvl 80 with full exotics.
There seems to be a lot of market manipulation going around by very rich people with thousands of gold, so I have the following suggeions.
1) Make things you bought on the trading post temporaly account bound (say 24h) and make it impossible to sell old stocks (not account bound) of that item for the same duration.
2) If you sold an item make a cooldown on it until you can buy more of the item.
3) Add an extra 10% listing fee + 5% sale tax for items you previously bought on the trading post (lets say for the last week).
The TP is decided by players, often by panic reactions. I did well over 100 MK runs and not a single halloween exotic dropped for me.
Plus the recipes were avaible a few days (act 1) before they dropped from chests (act 2+3)
Because halloween weapons are severely underpriced currently. They are only so cheap because people managed to find a few from the halloween instance chests.
They will stabilize when crafting them costs roughly the same as buying it from TP.
There were 4h temporary weapons for festivity reasons. If you want halloween whole year, you have to pay for it.
BoA is a horrible idea. There are already too many soulbound items in this game.
Live with the recipe requirements. I dont want to see everyone running around with the weapon I paid a lot of hard earned money for.
No support. Some people actually unlocked the recipes to craft and profit from them when the price went up to a reasonable level.
What about using the search feature? There are already many threads about this.
To answer the question it will turn exotic color, because the item quality is determined by the stats you transmute on it.
Bad luck, maybe more luck next year.
Level 80s makes sense. For one high lvl armor got 3 instead of 2 or 1 stat boosts. Second they got more traits, 3rd they are more likely to not run around in gear 10+ levels behind their actual level and maybe even have full exotic if lucky.

Be proud of yourself. You got rich by dishonest ways of earning money.
I only bought mad king outfit so far, and I wont buy more unless this is implemented, since storage space is limited and comes for a premium.
I am glad people like it, hopefully anet listens. It would even be ok for me if it would cost a small fee of lets say 1s to reclaim gear from the NPC.
I calculated I can earn 200g faster than making 250 skillpoint after map completion. So 100g for 250 skillpoints seems more than fair.
act 4 seems to be the worst act of the halloween event
More and more town clothing is getting added to the game, so it would be nice to have an account wide NPC who collects all the hats and special town clothing pieces from the gem shop, similar to the NPC we had in GW1 for holiday headwear.
bad, what are they thinking to make everything require charged lodestones, but not adding any good way to farm them.
I got 400+ skillpoints, so if you send me mats + a decent amount of money for the skill points I will make it for you or anyone who contacts me.
And no, I am not buying the mats for you, I dont want to sit on them and resell them with a 15% loss if you change your mind.
maybe you can put 4 of them into the MF and hope for an upgraded recipe, not sure
1) MF doesnt work with chests.
2) I did about 10 full CoE runs and only got 2 charged cores, no loadstones.
That explains why the price is so high, chances are horrible.
great idea, support
What about tieing achievement points to precursors? Make precursors account bound, but increase chance to find precursor stuff with each achievement point you earned. Then my 3.2k points finnaly had a use.
it wont turn it into an exotic. It just changes the color of your item description. big deal. Its the skin which matters.
Or you could just keep the awsome stats on it.
Did like 50 runs so far, not a single thing worth more than 50s
Thats because a group of full exotic equipped lvl 80s is much faster in farming this mission.
Why even transmute them? Power vit toughness is awsome.

There are people who have 3000g. Our guild leader got 2500g, not sure how he made them thought.
They didnt confirm anything and I did get exotics with 0% MF. 4 exotics in like 20 runs.
Magic find does not help with loot from chests, mystic forge or anything except monster drops. So stop telling people your silly MF value.
I dont know how he can 1 shot you? I didnt move out of anywhere when I soloed him and never got even close to dieing.
I wonder if anet could finnaly tell us if there are any changes planned. I dont want to gamble 100s of gold now only to find out next week the chances got raised or a fixed recipe appeared.
