Shatterer breakbar went from very hard to very easy
I hate the requirements for the new legendaries. Will only do the precursor collections for the AP, but no way I will waste time on 250 crystalline bars and HoT map completion for these mediocre skins.
It is pretty normal for MMOs that time consumption or heavy RNG makes things prestigious.
Level 30 in the old system for tribal armor it probably took more time than rank 80 in the new system, since you only got your personal score converted to rank points. So if you scored 100 points you gained 100 rank points. Now you flat out get 1500 (+ bonus for awards or mist buffs) for a (un)ranked win and 1/3rd of it for a loss.
I think despite playing quite a decent amount of pvp I only got rank 54 or 55 before the patch hit.

Right, but he’s saying that some of them aren’t being returned by the authenticated /v2/account/achievements endpoint if you’ve completed them.
What am I missing? They are being returned as completed if I use my API key and return as uncompleted if I use the API key of an account who does not have them completed. So to me it looks like they are working?

Then there are other ways to stroke your ego if it’s that important to you. You can run around with a special title for one, and they even show your PvP rank level next to your name. Appearance customization shouldn’t really be confined to that, in my opinion.

You mean those titles which noone even looks at? GW2 does not have a single prestigious title. I am never wearing any of the GW2 titles. Still using my GW1 titles because the GW2 titles are all too easy (eg Eternal) to get or sound stupid (eg the achievement point titles)
Anet needs to make a proper title track for GW2 like they did with GW1 before we even can consider GW2 titles as prestigious.

Timers are there so you can’t run 10 nomads hammer guardians and tank your way through every fight.
This. Timers are a must have or people could find a way cheese the bosses or to solo this 10 man content.
Ya scaling in the difficulty of raid should have been a priority for Anet. You can’t make a content that will be challenging for everybody.
Too hard and it leave out a portion of the player base. Too easy and it’s become boring like Dungeon became. It’s not even that hard to create an easy mode for raids. Just remove the timers, decrease the numbers needed in the green circle at VG to like 2, add 2 more updraft at Gorseval and make canon fire each minute instead of each 30min at Sabetha and you are a still challenging raid, but easier for players not good enough for the current raid. Rebalance the reward so easy mode isn’t as rewarding as the normal mode and you have something that pugs will have an easier time to do.
It will also allow new players to raid to gain experience with the mechanics before going into the harder raid.
Current raid is easy to medium difficulty. It is what I expected dungeons to be before release. Our guild is neither hardcore nor super elitist but we clear the raid several times per week in around 60-90min per run.
I hope wing 2 will become harder and not go into farm mode this fast.

No. You’ve decided to level scribing. Why would there be any compensation?
I decided to level scribing yes. But ~600g seems like a fair price to max out a crafting discipline. If you make it cheaper everyone can max it (like the other useless crafting professions we can do). If everyone is a maxed crafter there is no profit to be made because everyone will do it themselves. Only way to make some profit if everyone is maxed will be high volume crafting (like mithril greatswords before precursor collections) or heavily time gated stuff like t7 materials.
Anet hugely screwed up when making crafting so easy in this game.
Not everyone needs to have every crafting skill maxed or we might as well delete crafting professions and do everything via the mystic forge.

Or just nerf resonating slivers needed (make them vendor purchasable) and add rare recipes/other high end or vendor scribe components that can only be acquired via guild mission and trading post.
400 scribes got there first, helped the guild/made their gold back on the tp (for the most part) and have been been supported by several other guild members in the process. It doesn’t need a special title.
Oh, and ANet, fix Freshwater Pearl drop rates while you are at it.
I disagree on the part with supported by guild members. Most scribes, including me, paid for it 100% on their own.

The rewards are generous. The competition was low (it should be very hard to have more than 1 team in top 100, yet some people even had several teams in top 10)
There are two event quest lines which bug very often preventing your map to reach t4 during day time:
The event with the 6 vines (one of the last 3 of the pact chain)
The faren event chain (already bugs before unblocking the way point)
Please fix these as soon as possible. Every 2nd T4 day run I organise gets ruined by this. If you cannot fix this fast temporarily lower the amount of events needed to reach T4.
The juggernaut uses the background lightning of the area you are in. That is why is looks weird in many places.
I think for full maps the break bar needs to be 50% less powerful than currently. That would still challenge all the maps I took part in so far.
Too bad you cannot break him at all on pug maps because seemingly 2/3 of the people have no idea what CC and break bars are. Break bars should never be this tough on open world maps with no options for guild spawns. I know people who are at 20+ kills without ever seeing the break bar below 50%.

What some people miss is that many people don’t care if it devalues “real one time achievements”.
Hint: those “real, one time achievements” are nothing to boast about. Try telling someone in or out of game that you got one and see if you get more than a blank look. It’s only the hard core achievement hunters who care even the slightest.
Why would I tell people out of game about ingame achievements? Ingame there are plenty of people congratulating me for my AP.

Same problem here. I did not receive the item too. And i still have the title without achievement and AP. Sent a ticket.
The support only told me that they are aware of the issue and working on a fix. Looks like they wont send me that item to fix it faster
I am glad daily APs got a cap. Gives me more time for the interesting stuff in this game.
If you ask me dailies and monthlies should never have given any AP to begin with, since they are just daily chores and not achievements.

That was the joke; it’s 3 commendation for 3 crystallline ore per day, when you also need the commendation for everything else.
3 commendations for 3 ore is a joke. If it were 50-100 ore it might be worth considering.
I got the item, used it, and now have title and achievement completed. All is right in the world.

The “Vale Guardian Pieces” decoration cannot be removed again after placing it. Very annoying

Glider deployment is definitely being affected by lag.(caused by the high number of people present) In 7 fights so far, I’ve only gotten the glider to deploy in 2 of them. (yet it works properly minutes after, when most of the people have left) This needs to be worked on, but may be fixed by what they’re doing to help the Australia glider/lag issue.
I doubt this. Breaking the CC bar is not needed to beat the fight at all. So people will not do it if they dont care about the achievement at all.
Yes, I did not get the item. Same issue as Asuaka.
1) The break bar is too strong. In 6 kills I never saw the break bar go below 50%. Failing to CC just makes the fight longer and not harder. Coordinating the CC is almost impossible with so many random people on the map who do all whatever they want. Doing a guild spawn is not possible.
Lorewise it also makes no sense that the much larger elder dragon Mordremoth is easier to break the stun bar than this small dragon.
2) It is still too easy (even Tequatl is too easy). It is hard to die unless you go for specific achievements.

One of the new Shatterer achievements, Branded Baned, is bugged. The majority of branded during the fight do not seem to increase your kill counter at all even though you gained exp and loot from them. This makes getting 500 kills take much more time than it should.
On a side note the Shatterer breakbar is way too strong. I was at 6 kills now and we didnt even get the cc bar below 50% at least once during all those kills. This is not good at all for a open world event with no guild spawn opportunity.

you need 8,888 Health Healed for an achievement. there’s the incentive.

The API returns two achievements I havent completed (or even started) as completed:
Zodiac Weapon Collection
Sclerite Weapon Collection
I will pm you my API key incase it helps.
It makes sense to add them to low level fractals.
1) Gives a reason to play low level fractals at all
2) Rewards new / casual players who need the gold the most. Transfers down gold from the rich to the poor players.
So 150g for a collection which rewards a miniature is much? If you want the miniature farm the stuff or pay the price. Stop feeling entitled to get everything cheap. If it is not worth it to you skip the collection.
It is already bad enough that they devalued the “Professor” collection by reworking the fractal encryptions.
The droprates are fine, otherwise it would be too cheap to complete this collection.

How is it a troll post? You can buy these on the trading post for cheap. 14g each is not terribly much and adds valuable drops to fractals to have these.
I lost 6 AP too. Would like to get them back. No point in getting 6 achievement points as reward if it gets removed from your total points every time new season starts, so it must be bug.
