I have 3 bank guilds, some bank chars and max bank slots. Its not enough.
Another idea I have had is the following:
When “Call of the Mists” buff is active, lost ranked games give +1 to these two achievements and wins +2 or even +3.
Even most “hardcore” guilds in GW2 have barely any shedules.
Why should I not use the most rare and precious trophys I own? Only rare and exclusive items can make you look truly unique.
Haven’t you heard? The GW2 community doesn’t want unique rewards in the game that are “rare”, “exclusive” and “precious”
Probably the same people who vote for communist parties in real life

The person who wrote this Wiki entry … Really?
I created that article, but the builds are outdated now.
I got 1000 skins after 3 years… and i actually put effort into collecting them. More than 1k is credit card or no life
Of course its not easy to get 3k. My wardrobe is worth 110k gold not including gem shop and account bound skins.
So because you have over 3k skins, that means the Achievment needs increasing? I don’t think so, maybe they could just introduce different tiers of the achievement.
Thats what I were suggesting. New tiers with new titles.
I think the “Fashion Forward” title needs to be expanded. 1000 skins is very low, I had that instantly after it was introduced. Currently sitting at over 3k skins. So please add achievements/titles for 2k, 3k and eventually 4k (about 3.5k is maximum possible atm, including retired skins) skins.
The longer it takes to come back the better. No point in using it when its not exclusive anymore.
The thing is banned accounts do not get excluded from the leaderboard. So all the gold sellers, botters, trial accounts, otherwise banned accounts etc ruin the leaderboard below the top 1000
Also defining hardcore that way is useless. GW2 has very few hardcore players because the low difficulty does not appeal to them. Just because you are in top 90% doesnt mean you are hardcore. Some of the most hardcore players have very low AP because they restrict themselves to things like soloing/speedclearing dungeons, pvp or WvW which wont give much AP on itself.

If you arent top 1000 its meaningless anyway. Also 29 of my accounts have around 100 or less AP, so I help dragging the top 90% down :p

Seems like Arenanet needs to come up with another reason we cannot test until some guy breaks into SAB to prove them wrong. So far, it just looks like Arenanet just couldn’t care less about SAB and threw anything that came into their mind as reasons to us.
It looks barely bugged at all. Anet lied to us.
if only those weren’t bugged.. it’s counting less matches for me than what it should. not that i really care but bugs are kinda lame.
For some reason I have more won matches than my stat page suggests. No idea why.
It’s great when there are a few selected long-term achievements for each gamemode. You’ll have to live with a few less achievement points for now.
It is still a very long time achievement for the average pvp player if it were 3-5k wins. Did anyone even make it to 10k without going insane yet? I havent seen a champion brawler so far.
Anet should limit the chests to 100 per week per account
Not sure if serious. You do understand how this would affect prices on the trading post right?
Hint: less supply -> higher price (for crafting materials for example).
High price is nice. I will get more gold for my loot.
Now that the WvW achievements are getting attention, I feel like these two should get attention next. 10,000 win is simply too much.
Lets do some math.
With 50% win rate. You can do about 4 matches per hour if you are medium MMR and got fast queue times. So we are looking at 5000 hours of PvP to do this title.
If you play PvP for 2 hours a day you will win an average of 4 games per day so it takes 2500 days = 6.8 years. If you are more hardcore and play 5 hours a day it would still take 1000 days = 2.7 years.
Sure if you are good and get a higher win rate, you can shave some time off, but your queue time also gets longer and longer as your MMR goes up. Even with an unrealistic 100% win rate you look at at least 2500 hours.
So these achievements should be at 3-4k wins at most unless these 2 achievements are specifically designed for the top 0.05% of players.
Anet should limit the chests to 100 per week per account
I am glad ACs are useless now, they are one of the worst parts of WvW
Too bad. Why did I even try starting to play pvp again. nice timing.
Yes, they got a lot easier. r80 is nothing special anymore
The only time consuming thing is getting 5k/10k wins now
One time events should stay one time events. Anet should rather focus on bringing stuff like SAB and crown pavillon back.
I hope this event never comes back
No. This whole thing should be quickly burried and forgotten forever.
No it doesnt
Please no. I never want to see this kind of event again.
Never apply gem codes or serials where you arent 100% sure of the source.
Yes the sale was very boring. I wish I could have spent more money, but there was almost nothing of interest to me.
No. This sounds like it could ruin guilds and open doors for griefing. If you are unhappy with the leadership in your guild, find a new guild.
When the game was new, I was in such a guild who acted as if democracy was the best thing ever and made leader elections and it always ended terrible so I left the guild.

Been trying to get the drop for the “Jormag Defense Guide” Collection for 428 days (and counting), killing the Claw of Jormag every day (save for a two week vacation). I’ve seen one person get it once during this time. I mean, just to start it, how rare does it have to be?
Considering buying the Jormag Defense guide is just a fraction of the total costs of the collection, I see no reason to complain.
They probably realized how stupid the hero collection is and removed it.
It was very cheap to get a full version of GW2 before, so I am not suprised. If you wanted to try GW2 by now you probably were willing to shell out the 10€ or US$
The chance is very low obviously, or the price of the skins would be dropping fast.
It should be hard to get. It was a lot of work (timegated, it took several days) + 10g when it was first introduced, so why do people expect it to be easier this time.
Sometimes you have to set priorities in life. If you miss an item you should not feel bad about it.
The rewards are too good if you have do not have any of them, but are bad if you have it all already.
I think the low bloom rate is good. Makes sure not everyone unlocks all the rewards and stops them from being devalued.
I am very unhappy about this also. it feels like I wasted gems
You had the skins for over a year, that’s what your gems bought you.
That probably cost you less than what the grind required to earn enough blooms plus the gold to buy them now.
I only bought them for collection purposes and not used them :p
And collection stuff gets devalued by discounts and alternative ways to aquire them. If anything this stuff should get more expensive over time to reward early buyers instead of punishing them.

Got nothing also. Pretty bad event, going back to other stuff in the game.
The event seems to be pretty disappointing. The opponents die way too fast, give no loot or exp. The events itself also give no karma. The NPC only has old stuff I already have.
Event seems bugged. Wasted 24min in brisbane already
No. That would make the historical achievements pointless if they were included in the daily cap. I dont want to see the whole top 1000 with exactly the same AP. Since most achievements are trivial in this game and just require a time investment, the historical achievements are one of the limited ways to stand out on the leaderboard.
How? They still won’t catch-up…and when they do they’d still behind years worth of AP. AP is just as trivial, right now the only value to AP are titles associated to them and for elitist smugs to deny other players from parties.
There should be no reason to deny new players or players who unfortunately missed out on such a significant amount of AP that took seconds to hours to complete prior…when they can take years to get those missed points back.
Those who actually got the historical achievements will still have the items, titles, and whatever rewards granted by them. Those are the only things really showing the historical value.
Again, those AP leaders will still be leaders for plenty of time…literally years of AP ahead already and will continue to do so IF they wish to continue AP hunting, if they don’t: people have a chance to overtake them (albeit, years later)…which is why leaderboards even exist. There should be something that threatens their current spot; it won’t be immediate, it will take years to take a spot from the top achievers.
By the time you see 1000 players with the same AP: GW4 will be out and we’ll all likely be dead. Assuming AP isn’t capped at 60k, top achievers won’t lose their spot even then. However, if it is capped, top achievers still will retain their position and still lead in the amount of time it took to get there and have leads ranging in years.
There is no downside enabling players to get the AP they missed.
Ok let me reword it. The front page of equal AP would be bad enough already.
Not going to happen since the mystic forge destroys your item and makes a new one
Maybe give people on walls a -90% dmg/condition income buff
You could have got about 4,987 AP from historical events Reference" . I feel that new players (or those who missed out) shouldn’t be hindered from such a significant amount of AP from just not being around. A fix would be to add JUST the AP value from the historical achievements to the Daily cap (15,000 + Missed Historical AP). That way there wouldn’t be a need to reintroduce the unique events that gave them, those who missed out just have to that many more dailies, and those who already got the historical achievements don’t gain more AP, but keep their unique rewards from playing at that time.
That being said, since the Daily cap is almost reached by the top AP players which is roughly 50% of the ENTIRE possible achievement list AFTER 3 years of playing. The Daily Cap shouldn’t be raised (rather, doesn’t have to), but newer content should have enough to get the rest of ~30k AP to hit the 60k AP mark a bit faster and get rewarded for their time (since a bulk of it is simply just devoting time).
I apologize if I went a bit off topic. I’m supportive of making those “top achievers feel like they are top achievers”…and I just so happen to be supportive of new and old players ability to join them eventually (if they devote the same time and value AP).
P.S. Or just cap the max AP to 60k, if it isn’t already, and have enough content for everyone to eventually hit that (despite if they missed past events—meaning those who did the events will get 60k sooner).

Always interrupt if it gives +1 to my kill counter

I would pay 2000 gems for a 20+ slot account wide bag
5000 gems for being able to unlock sigils / runes for legendary equipment
