Those titels are a joke in every point. There is no way to call you a champion after winning 150 matches. There are ppl doing this in a week.
Some maybe. Others need a whole month to play the ~300 matches. If there is 1 new class and 9 elite specialisations it would be 10 months of effort for them.
I think its save to say after 150 wins you are not totally useless with that class anymore, so it is a good start.

Anet has been very inconsistent when it comes to rare skins. There is now a bunch of 2k+ gold skins on the TP, and only the halloween has been re-released.
Why should the jetpack be the most expensive skin in the game? Why is the fused weapons more expensive than a legendary or a permanent contract?
They need to figure out a consistent way to slowly reintroduce rare skins to the market.
They dont have to. They can just let them go extinct.
Will we be able to get new champion titles for the elite specialisations? Considering these play different than the original class and even got a different icon, it would make sense if they would be able to earn different champion titles, too.
Legends are not trash. Trash is elite status at most. Champion and above are bosses.
Even the trash in a 10 man raid instance should require 5+ people to stand a chance. Ideally each raid should be impossible to complete with less than 10 people so people cannot sell slots.

The first 3 aren’t supposed to be that hard as they’re only mini-bosses. The last one is the only true boss.

the first 3 teach you the mechanics of the 4th boss. Which are not hard at all.
It will end like this: People will pull the first 3 bosses at once and then do the 4th boss, essentially doing the 4th boss twice :p
The bosses were too easy. The only reason we didnt kill the 4th one was because some people had to go. I was hoping for a week of wipes before people even manage to kill the first boss.

Anet are bonkos because they actually REMOVE content from the game. I hate it, always hated it, will always hate it. I didn’t play for a few months here and there so now all I get is empty southsun, chunks of living story season 1 that I can’t do, etc.
I’m not even talking about events they removed in starter maps when they did levelling revamp. That dev shop looks to me more disorganized by the minute.
Thing is, once you make certain things unachievable in the game anymore, person who likes achieving all there’s to achieve/catching up to people who’s done it => will quit. Because there’s no possible way for them to achieve stuff anymore. My main motivation for playing this game since LS season 1 has been constant fear they’ll remove stuff from it so I have to play it now. I think this is what they were going for with LS season 1, good job anet.

They are (legally) forced to close an account if they find out someone younger than 13 plays on it. So just make sure they do not find out.
Because then the AP leaderboard would be pointless and everyone had about the same AP in the top 1000.
Also a reward for veterans because they will reach the AP reward chests earlier.
They also do not show up in undiscovered parts of the map anymore

Everything is tracked via logs, at least, but exposing a queryable API interface to them isn’t very feasible. Filtering, collating and aggregating them is a very non-trivial operation.
I would be suprised if it doesnt get added up somewhere. Otherwise it would have to recalculate it every time for accounts less than 30 days old.
as I said there it is already created.. can see your currencies and how much you can get from material storage.. how many dungeon tokens you have of each and how you could spend it to make profit..
this is not what this topic about, we are talking about lifetime of your account earnings and not your current account value
Why would they nerf it? It’s mostly blues and greens with the odd rare and dragonite ore.
I’m sick of everyone asking for things to be nerfed. Things need to be BUFFED. Loot on the whole is very poor. Nerf burning, nerf Celestial Ele, nerf DD ele, nerf PS Warrior, Nerf WHAO Ranger,

The low quality loot adds up pretty quickly due to the amount of chests you loot per hour. There is something wrong with the game if such an easy task as looting chests is more rewarding than running dungeons or high lvl fractals.
Plus it also devalues crafting materials. I would prefer being able to sell my loot for more.

I think the latest patch fixed it? I was able to get all the skillpoints in silver wastes without crash
Would it be possible to pull the total gold earned on an account? I know Anet tracks this for purposes like increasing the amount of wealth you can send via mail and guildbank when its less than 30 days old.
Would be also nice to have for other currencies, too, incase that is also tracked.
And total amount of exp earned on a character.

Solo content in a MMO is always a bad idea. With the exception of things like the queens gauntlet maybe.
250k kills is pretty much impossible nowadays without Obsidian Sanctum farming. The zergs are usually smaller than in the first year of GW2 and the current meta makes kill farming slower.
I hope they will stay rare/retired. I dont want to see everyone running around with the shield and greatsaw.
This is worse than at release where everyone had to download 16GB instead of a few MB. Did Anet downgrade servers?

Honestly I find this new server population algorithm a big joke. How can SFR still be full after weeks of being full and a lot of known people leaving?
Tbh no server is truly full unless it has 24/7 queues, but the current “full” feels like low pop servers 2 years ago.
It almost feels like an Anet dev played on a server which played against SFR and now wants to take revenge.

No. You need to release your API key with the correct permissions set.

They could disable the API and the site would stop working. So they could do it if they desire.
But without an API key noone can check your account. So simply do not share it if you do not wish that people know about your account.

It is a real shame because some of the bosses had decent mechanics and/or dialogue and now they die before showing them unless you handicap yourself wich is just stupid.
I am not asking things to be super hard since I agree that casuals and bad players should be able to experience the story, but it was already a reasonably low difficulty at release.
I must say the story rework is truly terrible. I gave it a try over the recent days. The difficulty already used to be very low but now it seems to be at the lowest possible level.
Examples: Legend sovereign eye of zhaitan died in 1 meteor shower before it even used any of its mechanic and I didnt even stack might or use buff food or optimal equipment.
The same can be said about any boss in the last instance with Zhaitan. about any boss died about instantly (except the ones where you had to use the cannons). I remember the mouth of zhaitan being quite a lengthy fight. Took me 1 meteor shower this time.
Also all loot and chests were removed.
Conclusion: The personal story is a real borefest now if you already played it once and know the story. Repeating it feels like a chore because nothing interesting is happening at all and fights are meaningless and boring.
Do I need to farm all the heropoints 9x now?

My main who collected all hero points (including the krait obelisc one in home instance and WvW) got 214 hero points leftover after unlocking all the current stuff.
