The stats look good.
I run a more offensive build.
My stats are always more offensive. I only run just over 1600 toughness and 15.5k health.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I would say there’s little to no reason NOT to go full celestial acended.
I look at it this way. Most people will still be in exotics, and your acended celestial will basically let you have every single stat in acended gear as most people will have minor stat on their exotic gear. That’s in addition to decent crit dmg.
If they keep formulas the same, that’s what I’ll be doing, although I could see points for other gear types, like Cav.
It isn’t so much about the stats but the Defense rating will be higher on asended armor. It is the same with ascended weapons where the weapon strength rating is higher that is the real impact the stat difference is hardly even be noticeable if it was just all about stats. Also there is no way celestial top will get +72 all stats on the coat but you are probably correct on the minor pieces matching exotics minor stats.
Myself will go with my current setup Celestial helm (because the difference from knights is very very small) everything else knights. I think my trinket setup is perfect for me right now. I really hate running guild missions so I’ll leave my 2 accessories as celestial. my rings are cav and ammy is zerk/valk and my backpiece is zerk/valk now thanks to quver of thousand arrows.
I’m not a fan of celestial armor though I know it is a great place to grab it but it doesn’t out dps knights unless you can stay ahead in might stacks by 14+. Knights can have those same might stacks. The critical damage number looks good but the loss in power and precision keeps it behind knights always.
I don’t think the loss will be that much DPS wise, and certainly not 350+ power worth.
I’ll need to see numbers, but my speculation is it’ll be a great set of armor.
I’m sure we’ve arrived at the same conclusions now, (I run knight’s armor) and I’m sure we’ll agree after the patch, too.

I see a possible signet build with 20 fire, 30 earth.
The other builds don’t really appeal to me in duels/roamin.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Yes, a waste.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Are there plans to further increase this?..

This new rune has a lot of potential with signet-aura builds, but I wonder, would that damage loss be worth it?
20 fire, 30 water, 10 air, 10 earth for aura signets, and aura-sharing with fury/ swiftness/ protection. There’s a damage loss here by not picking stone splinters and by going deep into water.
Ignoring aura-share, and considering the possibility of using written in stone, we’d have:
20 fire, 10 air, 30 earth, 10 somewhere else (water or fire). That would give us Stone Splinters, vital striking, enduring damage, and +180 precision from signet of fire. We could go with Signet of Fire, Signet of Air and perhaps Signet of Earth (or just Lightning Hammer). Signet Mastery as the remaining earth trait. Or, by ignoring the points in water, go full fire for the +10% damage (post- 10th dec patch) plus the offensive stats and persisting flames, or five more in fire and the remaining five in air or something. Not the most min-max build out there, but it would have a good balance between dps-maxing and defense.
I don’t know if that’s worth it.
20 in fire is almost a waste. Yes, you’d have access to four theoretical fire shields which would each give you fury, you wouldn’t have enough access to the boon to maintain the boon without at least 5 in arcana.
I’d say drop the 20 in fire if you’re doing a power build.
Now the side of condi build would be quite interesting with 20 in fire, 30 in earth and an aura build.
Consider using dire gear. Every time you get hit, your foe gets stuck with 2k in burning damage, not to mention any other condis you throw on there.
Do some might stacking, and you’ve actually got a decent hitting build going.

Burnfail, as we’ve begun calling him in the ele forums, likes to make posts to try to degrade other classes so as to further his class.
His favorite lines are “justice, freedom, liberty” and other crap he spews.
I’d usually say ignore the troll, but the troll is hard to ignore, as you risk Anet listening to the troll.
Good luck, thieves.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I could see this used really well with some of the signets to create an interesting bunker build.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Gasmic, I’m a quite good D/D ele. Sign me up if you want, but I’ll be on my laptop, which does run a bit slower than my desktop. (Thanksgiving break..)
If the opposite team has a thief, he/she will at least be in doubt whom to target first, haha.
This is super true. I always am targeted first as ele, so enjoy all of our elemental onslaughts!
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I almost always go for the most threatening class first.
I don’t know why you wouldn’t.
Unless the most threatening class is a bunker-type class, then I go for the lower armored people behind it.
If there’s a group of people, I’ll usually go straight for the engineer, then thief when they get bold enough to attack. Necro is also up there, but so is Warrior.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Shock Aura is the best IMO.
Love it for D/D playtime
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I would like to host our first full 5 v 5 Elementalist Skirmish over the next weekend.
Who would be interested in something like that?
Uh of course and undoubtedly me.
When I wrote this I assumed in my home (wvw) but now I’m thinking it is SPvP.
I’m not as great in SPvP, but I can say I’d still like to join. Hit up LordByron as well.

Take into consideration for example the last buff that was made for the ele class “conjured weapons”. Has it made any difference to promote build diversity? Not a kitten difference at all! Everyone just ignores them and runs the same builds as before.
Fire axe still does extremely low damage and people that tried using it to stack might all gave up.
Frost bow has only 1 good aoe skill, the other do not heal enough, do not have enough range and are too slow.
Lightning hammer requires that you change your entire build to a complete squishy to work.
Magnetic shield even if better is still useless and bares little consequence on a battle.I think that we can all agree that when it’s been the time to buff some ele skill Anet has underdone it.
When we think about nerfs however, we all have the memory of the dramatic 60% increased RTL recharge (AND range reduction) and removal of utility skills during Mist-form (while conditions keep destroying us).
So here Anet proposes some buff for “build diversity” (TY for the good intention!). Sounded too good to be true actually. We had reasons to be skeptical but we believed, specially that diamond skin idea… But we look deeper into it (me and some guild friends) and wow, many good builds have been nerfed.
For the sake of what I ask? Because I don’t need diamond skin, in a WvW context your rarely at full health, and my healing cures conditions.
Specifically what build has been nerfed please?
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Oh my gosh… They literally said everything we said.
Yet they won’t return us to what we were.
“They aren’t too OP, they have a lot of things that are weak, too.”
“Some classes just one thing will push it too far.”
We WERE THAT CLASS.

I disagree that it is a crutch going 30 in arcana. Renewing Stamina is the crutch because that is what lets you dodge so much. Everyone takes it including you. EA is a bi-product of Renewing stamina being up so much that it is OK to use a dodge for healing. I had this discussion with a guildy who also ran S/D and was like I don’t need EA. (Of course it isn’t as important on S/D) it isn’t the crutch or bad players use it. Renewing stamina is the trait you should look at if you want to make that claim not Evasive Arcana.
Thats why I didn’t understand their decision to move elemental attunement to master and keep renewing at adept when renewing stamina is more powerful than elemental attunement IMO.
Everyone takes Renewing Stamina in WvW/PvP because it has greater utility than any other trait. With just base endurance regen (no regen food, no vigor), you will not be able to dodge every attack you opponent does, or even just their high-damaging attacks.
The point I want to make is that even WITH Renewing Stamina, you will STILL not be able to dodge all of their attacks, or even just all of their hard-hitting and/or condi-applying attacks. Even with perma-vigor, if you’re fighting against an active opponent who isn’t just sitting their doing nothing, you will NEED every dodge you can get. You can’t afford to waste them, even to proc Cleansing Wave or a blast finisher. THAT is why Evasive Arcana is a crutch. I’ll give an example (PS. these numbers are somewhat fabricated, but they demonstrate the concept soundly):
- Let’s say you have lots of experience playing different classes, so you’re aware enough to notice that 3x clones/phantasms are all running towards you at the same time. You have the split-second thought “oh kitten, that mes is gonna take out 75% of my health with his shatter, I’d better dodge.” So you dodge, and all the shatters miss. Congrats, you’re still at 100% health, and all you expended was enough endurance for a single dodge.
- Let’s say you’re a noob and have no idea what the “tell” is for an imminent shatter, so you don’t dodge at the right moment and get hit by all 3 illusions. Your health goes from 100% to 25%. So what do you do? You swap to water and dodge to proc EA. Your health goes up to 50%. This cost you both a single dodge AND wasting water atunement, but you only have half the health you would have had without EA, had you just need smart enough to dodge at the right moment.
In Scenario 1, you successfully avoided all damage. You did this without wasting an extra 10 points in Arcana for EA, and you can do this in ANY atunement, not just water (and it would still work even if water was on CD). In Scenario 2, you put the extra 10 points in Arcana, but you had to waste a CD on water atune just to proc EA for the heal, and even so, it didn’t heal you nearly enough to compensate for the damage you took. You still ended up worse off than in Scenario 1.
THIS is why EA is a crutch; you’d do better learning WHEN to dodge to AVOID damage than you would dodging after the damage has already been done in order to heal yourself by a comparatively small amount. A good PvP’er knows to make every dodge count; even with Renewing Stamina, you don’t have any extra dodges to waste on proc’ing a trait.
I find your post to be snobby, and I frankly disagree with it.
EA isn’t a crutch. It is a viable difference maker to those who choose to use it right.
Sorry if you don’t see or realize it for its full potential.
Sure, I could see sticking 10 extra points in water, air and 20 in earth if I abandoned arcana all together, but you seem to ignore how good having extra dodges is, how powerful the might stacking, blind, and blast finisher are, and how vital it is to be able to say get protection during swapping to earth.
Having those things isn’t a crutch… A crutch is an automatic skill like “arcane shield pops at 25 percent health” Those are extremely situational skills that take time, knowledge and skill to pull off.
Come duel me some time, I’ll show you what I mean.

I’m assuming we’re using Elementalist as close to “meta” as possible – either the Scepter Fresh Air burst build or CmC’s Rock Solid build, as well as the possible new Diamond Skin build. These are my thoughts…
Elementalist v Guardian – Ele gets the nerf, and Guardian will always either tie or win
Elementalist v Engineer – Engi gets the nerf, but Engi still beats Ele handily
Elementalist v Mesmer – Ele gets the nerf, and loses even more to its natural counter
Elementalist v Necroamancer – Necro gets the nerf, still beats the Ele unless it’s a 1v1 and the Ele has specced with the new Diamond Skin, in which it’s a very long battle, and then the Necro wins
Elementalist v Ranger – Ranger gets the nerf, still beats Ele because it’s the natural counter to the class along with Mesmer
Elementalist v Thief – Thief gets the nerf, still beats them because Larcenous Strike still steals a precious boon from the Ele
Elementalist v Warrior – Warrior gets the nerf, but still wins because Heal Sig wasn’t nerfed
Ele can still win these if the opponent is bad and they use the cheesy Fresh Air burst build, only to be killed by someone else walking by because it’s squishy as hell.
Overall, a pretty good patch for Ele, I’d say.
How in the kittens do you have ele losing ALL 7/7 matchups regardless of nerf or no nerf?
I win most of my encounters.. Almost always and even more if I change my skills up depending on the matchup (Something I don’t usually do.)
I disagree with your “ele loses all” statements.
The only one on there I know I can’t win most of my battles against is well geared mesmer running a stealthy phantasm build.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I know that curry butternut squash soup is better dps for my build but I run lemongrass in WvW because conditions run rampant.
I still use curry&butternut. Lemongrass has too large a hit on DPS, and I’ve noticed my survivability drop only a little.
The turning point was the most recent patch. I noticed a sharp drop in condition builds.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
ThiBash has a good point. I do the same, but I don’t look at it the same way exactly.
I try to hit several goals for my stats on every build I make. These aren’t necessarily the goals, but they fulfill them.
My general fighting build — which I feel like I’ve perfected — uses ~2200 power, ~1600 toughness, ~15,500 health, ~300 healing power, ~30% crit chance and 80% crit dmg.
I use food, stacks, sigils, runes and traits to really balance where I feel stats are inherently weak on the ele.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
This isn’t entirely true aside from runes of perplexity. If a necro decides to run sigil of doom on a weapon he isn’t gaining anything as he already has poison at his disposal, however it gives an ele a new condition. So eventually the playing fields starts to narrow.
It kind of is true for the most part though.
The necro could easily pick a sigil he doesn’t have a condition easily at his fingertips.
I understand what you were saying, but I did contemplate that when I was writing my logic out, I just didn’t want to complicate it.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I’m willing to help out with the workshop. I’ve arguably perfected my D/D fighting build. (Ask Ozii.)

To the people who will come out of the woodwork and criticize anet, shame on you.
Kudos Josh. Thanks for finally getting around to this.

Learn a new spec. Try D/D. I bet once you fall in love with that, you’ll buy a whole new set of ascended gear, and you’ll want incinerators.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Give me 3 seconds and ill load you up with more condis than a necro could dream of. and i can reapply them really fast, every 10s.
Now, probably matching a necros output of condis, i also have more healing, much much more mobility, and 20k health with 3k armor.Lol. Okay man. Necro is condition king. What a nice opinion you got there. And I also have my opinion’s. I disagree completely with you, you can’t change my point of view, and you disagree completely with me, I can’t change your point of view. To say anything else and ‘claim’ you are right and not me is ONLY what you say. Same to be said with me.
I mean disagree all you want, but it doesn’t change that the statement you made is false. Necro delivers all conditions in one button, not to mention corrupts boon hoarders like no tomorrow.
You’re having a hard time accepting that on the basis of conditions alone, you are very wrong.
But listen to logic. Necro base available conditions > ele base available conditions. Necro with runes and sigil = ele with runes and sigil. Necro condition traits > Ele condition traits. Add all that up and yes, necro is much better at conditions.
If you want to make the claim that your condition build can outplay a necro condition build on the basis of elementalist fundamentals like boons and mobility, that’s fine. You can make that claim ALLL day and I won’t bother you for it, but your above statement is so false it just isn’t funny.
I hope you understand.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Good assessment. I’ve said the same thing.
I had a decent idea a while back to give eles access to range, but I believe it was ignored.
This is the reason I use D/D. I find it able to fight range better than range can fight melee, if you know what I’m saying.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Norn elite racial abilities give you escape. This looks over function argument does not compute.
Take a norn female … go with the Phoenix Light armor and Kasmeer’s Staff. You won’t regret it.
This, and forever this.
I’d go with Arah armor. But yes.. Snow leopard gives ele stealth.. That’s no joke.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Two subjects for my post. I love the guild name and the sig tag. I’ll be joining the guild of course. If you get a chance before I do, send me an invite.
And:
Just not a fan of hyperbole. You can’t keep up with a class that has easier and earlier access to it when you have to build just to match it. Runes/Sigils are irrelevant because a necro can put on those same runes and sigils.I never put down condition elementalist build.
TL;DR – A necro can put more pressure, sure, but to say that necro simply blows ele out of the water is foolish.
—

GameSlayer. Necro is the condition king. Please stop arguing. Ozii has a great point. You can’t base a build on runes and sigils. Necros can use the same things.
The thing I’m trying to say is: Necro is inherently better at conditions. There’s no dispute.
You made an outlandish claim and Ozii was just trying to explain, while ele can be viable in conditions — yes he did say they were viable — they aren’t as powerful as necro without supplementation.
I’m an ele who literally bought EVERY gear combination possible. I’ve played ele for a very long time. I know that conditions are quite possible, but they’re not the best of what ele has to offer.

I see some great and some terrible things suggested in these posts here.
I’d really love to see, though, some Dev comments. It’s been over eight pages without a comment one way or another.
Conversation is all over the place, and some comments for us to bounce off of would be nice.

I actually had a pow-wow with a few other eles and we sat around, debated and tested both power, precision and crit dmg.
We decided that anything over 60% crit chance was almost a waste when you could chuck the rest into power.
Eles have it very nice because we have permanent Fury. So we can call 40% crit chance 60% without actually building for that extra 20%.
Therefore, I use power food and bloodlust, with a crit chance sigil.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
The call for urgency is warriors that can all but full zerk while regenerating ~1000 hp/sec.
Burnfall, your drivel isn’t wanted here, but I don’t see your point. Multiply any class by ten and you’ll get a deadly semi-zerg. Its the same across the board.
Each class can get hits higher and stronger than the ele and far easier than the ele can.
Please put your future posts like this in the suggestions forum. Have a nice day..

The only thing D/D eles are guilty of is being underpowered right now.
This forum post made me laugh so hard. My “sentence” can be responding to this post.
Show those numbers on a warrior that has full exotics in a video. They aren’t real. And that’s not to say I can’t hit up to 10k with a fire grab, but the skill and aim and conditions it takes to get that snipe is great.
I vote this topic taken down.

Change
Elementalist’s base Health,
10,805 -> 15,082
And
Mesmer’s base Health,
15,082 -> 10,805
Why:
- Eles have a hard time if not heavily specced in stronger passive defense;
- Mes have an easy time even while in berserker gear
This.. Very much this.
On paper, elementalist is literally the weakest class.. In reality, it isn’t, but you have to work much harder and be far more skilled than any other class.
I have a build or two on my mesmer with which I can handle insane amounts of punishment and not even wince. Phantasms do so much for them.
Ele has to stand still and be hit while dealing our most damaging moves, mesmers can stealth while their most damaging moves move around and hit for them.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Peow Peow stop trolling on forums you don’t belong in.. Click your own post history and yes, feel embarrassed for we can all see it.
BlackBeard, I am not sure of the future of ele. I think their change will not be TOO harmful now that they’ve begun to bounce the ball back and forth. But I would never be opposed to a buff like you’re suggesting.
This whole class is about working for results. If anybody knows it, its you and a handful of others on this forum!
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
I think a lot of eles on this forum, including myself, have made some excellent threads/posts on the elementalist.
Like I said in my post, not all of us agree 100% of the time on anything, so nobody can speak on behalf of us
.
And about DaPheonix, I don’t exactly know how in touch he is with the game. I know you were just joking, but he really isn’t/wasn’t godliness embodied into an ele :P.
He still plays though I havent seen him on in a while. he is usually on for a few days when a new patch comes out.
Good to know. I also haven’t logged in a while. Super busy, but I’ll get on soon. Hopefully our servers connect again soon.

Otaur, I know. I was one of the people calling for compromise in the main thread before he posted it. I’m just hoping they will follow through.
I don’t mind if they reorganize, but LordByron is 100% correct. Those three traits make D/D ele mobile and viable.
(P.S. Whats up Byron? Hope SPvP nuking is going smashingly heh.)

Hey thanks to everybody who replied to this. I was FUMING at the time.
Rightly so, don’t you think? Ele has been nerfed loudly and silently since it was released. Its sickening.
I want to thank Jon for communicating with the community and compromising with us. I hope they continue to do this. The eles that post on this forum are generally the best on their respective servers.. Why?…. Because they’re the only ones left.
To respond to some comments here…
Malcastus, I did do that, but be wary. They’ve said that before and completely ignored people. I think it is encouraging that they’re bouncing the ball with us this time.
DiogoSilvia, always good to hear from you. Yeah, I’m quite encouraged by that. And I appreciate that you and others like Thibash are taking up the torch of advocating for eles while I’m quite busy.
GuildWarsPlayer, my man, I do believe you aren’t an ele fanatic. I feel elementalist is the class that just suits me so well it isn’t funny. I feel like my character embodies me. Do you feel the same? I’m not an altoholoic, but I do possess 6 different lvl 80 characters. Each of which is geared up. I’m also decent at mesmer, but it just isn’t fun like ele is. Ele is a huge part of logging on for me. When I can just tote a lightning whip around and look/feel boss, I’m a happy camper. But if I’m forced away from it, I. am. not.
Avilo, I’ve got a warrior. Boy is it EASY mode >_<. I just don’t have fun on it. It’s like thief back when all you had to do was press 2-2-2-2-2-2 to kill your alive enemy and also kill him without wasting energy to hit F, just continue to hit the 2 key. Good warriors regen 1200 hp/sec. As an ele I deal roughly 1k-1.5k dmg/sec depending on where I’m at in my might cycle. If I’m stunned, I’m low in my might cycle. There’s the whole warrior battle right there. Something is amiss, don’t you think?
Thanks for the discussion guys

Jon,
I wholeheartedly appreciate your responses here. I haven’t logged into the game in two weeks. Why? My favorite class depresses me.
At that, some of these changes bring hope to my heart, and some make me shake my head. I implore you to read this post.
A lot of eles on the elementalist forum have disagreements with one another on how to make the class effective again; but we almost all agree the class is currently very ineffective.
The post below basically summarizes my thoughts.
If they don’t move cleansing wave and arcane precision down the adept tier, eles will be forced to either go full-on kamikaze, or be crappy bunkers (which the bunker already is) – meaning only kamikaze is viable. Why? Because with the proposed changes, the following defensive traits will exist without speccing all the way to master-level in a line.
Adept:
- Lava Tomb (Fire) – terrible, doesn’t prevent death, just go out with a bang
- One with Air (Air) – terrible and useless
- Elemental Shielding (earth) – Useful for d/d only, not new defense, just improves existing defense mechanisms (prot is shorter than auras)
- Earth’s Embrace (earth) – 90s cooldown
- Soothing Disruption (water) – cantrips are just bad, besides lightning flash
- Soothing mist (water, 5 point) – actually pretty good if you can survive
- Final Shielding (arcane) – 60s, often go from >25% —> 0 so it doesn’t proc.As you can see, there is no way you can get any actual improvements in defensive capabilities at the adept level. That means you are forcing speccing to the master level to get survivability on the class that needs it most. Further, when you do spec into defensive trees, you get terrible return on investment b/c you have to waste an adept trait. This makes the choice clear: you are wasting your time to build any defense – just accept that your role is to get in, drop damage, and die.
Look at this another way: you are moving EVERY good trait out of adept. The usable traits left at the adept tier are:
- Fire: None
- Air: Zephyr’s boon (d/d only, which will be dead anyway), Bolt to the Heart
- Earth: Stone Splinters, Elemental Shielding, Earth’s Embrace
- Water: Vital Striking (glass-cannon only)
- Arcana: Blasting staff (staff only), final shielding (and not very good at that)This is very build-crippling b/c you are either forced to pay a tax of taking absolutely useless skills, go into air (glass cannon) and earth (not enough survivability to justify not GC), or play staff.
The only lines that won’t force you take useless skills are:
-Air
-Earth
-Arcana (staff only)To me it seems like you are nerfing survivability, build variety, and support on a class that currently struggles with the first 2 already. Please reconsider.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Simply put: Don’t change the vigor on Ele.
Explanation: Elementalist either takes the most damage in the game period or has access to a reasonable number of dodges.
This ruins two things. Ele might stacking, a large hit to Ele survivability.
If anything, that should have stayed medium tier.
And at the very least, if you’ll move it to grandmaster, move EA to master.
Lastly, the counter: You can’t not change vigor on guardians and mesmers yet nerf Ele vigor.
https://www.youtube.com/user/GW2FearGaming
Original post
Mess with my Vigor.
I promise to uninstall my game if you decide to completely wreck elementalist.
I’ve often thought having permanent vigor a necessity. We have the WEAKEST life pool and armor pool for a class needing to be right in the action.
This can’t be a real idea.. Not when mesmers and guardians can nearly perma vigor just as easily as ele.
I have an idea. Hire me to help you figure out how to release a patch that doesn’t outright nerf Ele builds.
And no, I’m not just a mean person writing an angry post. Check my post history. They’ve progressively gotten more angry.
Your answer to “Lets give ele some more build diversity,” can’t be nerf all builds. You’ve progressively done it, but you’ve also offered NO other options.
Consult with someone about this.. Y’all have to have at least one person who plays a main of an ele.. It’s a mistake and it will 100 percent lose my business.

UPDATE as of Nov. 4…
Appreciate the comments in the thread. Some very constructive ones. I’d also like to thank the Devs. They’ve been really communicating with us in this forum really well.
If they deserve anything its a round of applause. The last thing I have to say is I PRAY they get the update right.
Fight on, dear Ele friends.

Gorni I agree with you 100% and I actually agree with Devs.
I just wish they’d give us a date, stick to it and stop trying to pull the wool over our eyes with patches to shiny conjures and useless traits.
Yes, it is a useless 20 air trait. The things you could take over it are big.
We would be well off in a situation where we aren’t so focused even. I’m not sure if that means giving us evades or stealth or what, but we need something. I’ve suspended gem buying until ele is fixed as well.

With how kitten we are compared to certain things, there should be no defense. We need help. Only the best eles can make the class wok 1v2. But I hop on Mesmer once in a few days and I can 1v3 with it and ALWAYS win.
So there should be no defense for Anet until balance is achieved.

$5 says this will be fixed but known bugs like lingering attunements won’t be.

Almost made an engineer. Then didn’t. Hope they fix this.

A needless nerf for sure, as stuns have become even more prevalent.
I’ve fought daze warriors who late into a fight (yes they go a long time if dueling) they can straight up stun lock me and down me while I sit there and do nothing.
This to the class which is most reliant on movement, most susceptible to daze/immob.
Cheers.

People need to stop saying FOTM and start spelling it out. I see it used as flavor of the month and fractals of the mists. Someone clarify, as there are no contexts to what this guy is asking.
