Not true. Most arguments. All that you said is theorycraft, and actually very far from the truth. First come play the thief, elementalist, engineer, warrior. anyone. And then tell people to stop comparing ranger with them.
For example, do you know that a thief with a short bow is able to do more 15(yea yea) dodges in a row with dealing some damage?
All classes have control. Some better than the Ranger, in my opinion. But no class have is so low damage as ranger. No class has half of useless skills that even a fool would have not set on panel. Why people should not want more damage if they do have nothing special instead?
In short, your idea is: ranger have no damage, half the skills are useless, all possible is bagged, but if you do not like to play with something that is – you suck and you can roll out of here to your warriors.
By the way, do you know who have traps twice better than the ranger? Necromancer!
=>
Well stop dreaming. Back to reality.
First, if refuse to move damage from pets to the ranger, I believe that the ALL ranger’s damage need to be increased all by 5-10 percent. In addition we need to correct some weapons damage, and weapons itself.
Greatsword.
All of it’s damage need to be increased by 7 percent +. Besides, since it’s “deffencive weapon”, remove bleeding from Maul and give something deffencive instead. Like protection or retaliation. Or conversely: add bleeding for the first two autoattack strikes.
Longbow.
Damage in melee and middle distance increased by 10-15%, and the damage at the maximum range for 5-10 percent.
Increase the damage of rapid fire by half. Now it does less than 2 crit of auto attack and have 6 times more cast time… Or raise the damage by 20% and give vulnerability on each tic. Reduce it CD to 8 seconds. And to hunter’s shot, at all, change the functionality. I imagine something like a jump to an arbitrary point, instead. It would be super cool. Longbow immediately becomes 10 times more interesting
Sword. Everyone knows the problem of the sword. We need to remove the jump from the second strike. Replaced with something like the usual punch that gives buff of might to hunter and not pet. And voila! perfect weapon.
Axe.
I like it both but AA damage need to me icreased to. 10-15%
Shortbow
Shortbow, in principle, is good now. I see it as a weapon for the kite, not the main weapon for damage. All it needs it have to have. But the instant damage of poison wolley should be increased by 1/3 or more, then the skill will be usable.
Spirits
Not need to talk much about spirits. They sucks. Need to make them immortal. That’s all. Inactive target. And replace the 50% health trait on something useful. Some healing for a group or improvement invented by us “just-buffing-pets” =P. Ideally it would be good to raise the spirits biff radius. And increase the range of their abilities, in close combat they are not get they’r targets sometimes ).
Next I want to talk about the other utility skills.
Especially shouts. For example, I am absolutely sure that “guard” exists only in order to fill the missing slot for an equal number of other classes… I realy agreed that this skill should be part of pet panel.
I can agree with the idea proposed above that this abilityes should give buffs. At least for the ranger.
Search and rescue shoul to do pet immune to damage for the duration. Or, conversely, do targeted player immune. Or both. Otherwise it would not go to any comparison with the abilities of other classes. For example necromancer’s sigil instantly ress all within radius.
Ah… sigils………………………………………………… o__________O
As I said, all but sigil of reneval is very very bad. Useless. It all should give the same buff ranger and pet. And the effects of use must be given automatically to rangers. And trait must be replace with something new. Passive effects must be impruved. Sigil of hunt must give 25% speed. Or add trait which give 15% more.
While there are no more ideas (Maybe just forgot). Think about how to improve the shouts yet.
I accept constructive criticism.
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Let’s me, fierce hater, also write something.
First, let’s not head in the clouds and thinking like a realist. No one will change frnctional of weapons abilities, delete and add new ones, and even more so, no one will add a new weapon. This will never happends.
Humble with it.
Despair.
Ok.
Think of how to improve what we have. Not “overbuff” as everyone wants. To make class comparable to the others. Need to carefully compare.
I’ll start with the main thing: the class mechanic.
I understand that many people like pet-holders classes, as I understand the fact that many do not like them. So it’s logical conclusion: it’s devoted INORDINATE amount of attention to ranger’s mechanic. The entire class, however, ""shifted" to his mechanic", like no other.
Example: the elementalist can switch element, but can not to switch and play in one. Necromancer can actively use deathshroud, and may even forget about it. A warrior can use the adrenaline and can not to use it, etc.
Ranger CAN’T not use the pet. He is absolutely dependent on him. You might like it. I might like it. But this is not right anyway.
Let’s think about it: ranger, in principle, have just only 2 builds. It’s a glass cannon and beastmaster. Everything else – is just balancing between them. And for a normal game, the mechanics of the class are automatically entices you to its use, that is fundamentally wrong – your damage splited between you and your pet, and to safe your damage, you must reduce your own, in favor of the survival of damage.. emm…. running around nearby. Therefore have N points in beastmaster become almost mandatory. And “each ranger who has no points in BM – a fool.”© In addition, many ranger’s traits give buff only for pet and they are required because simply do not have a decent analogue (like 30% pet crit dmg)
I believe that 80% of pet’s damage should be moved back to the ranger and pet should be a kind of “meat wall” with F2 ability. damage and thickness pet should gain only buy a points in beastmaster traits.
Plus, in addition to (or instead of it) i have some interesting idea. Many people have offered to give the opportunity to remove the pet in return for a buff.
And what about more simple way – the non-active pet that gives this buff.
I imagine something like a natural spirit, walking side by side and giving to rangers, for example, 10% of the damage and -5% of incoming damage and giving some sort of preparation ability (many also wanted). For example F2 and your next “…..” attacks will do “………”.
Just as an option, thos pet modes can be removed altogether and make a simple visual effect on the Rangers instead. Animation like leaves falling from the hands or green glow. Sothing about it.
May be made several of these “pets”. Such kitten for each traits branch, giving relevant abilities. For example some:
spirit of hunt —- +10% damage -5% of incoming damage (F2 your next 5 attacks will push the enemy back)
spirit of summer --- +5% endurance +10% healing ( F2 your next 5 attacks will heal nearby allies).
It would solve a lot of problems at once. For people who do not want to play with pet, but find themselves close to the ranger class. People are annoyed by the constant unwanted pet aggro. People who are miss GW1 ranger and his abilities. And so.

(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Signet of the Wild/Stone: Aggreed. Decrease cooldown so rangers may actually decide to use them
Argeed? Signet of wild heals pet for 125 p/c and ranger for 70(!). Signet of stone give 35(!!!!) thougness!!! U agreed with it? It’s sh…t, m8! It’s… nothing. This is worse than nothing, because it need a slot! And it all buffs only your pet, which useless in many situations. This idea in itself – a spit in ranger’s face. The only good signet – is signet of renewal.
They are. I’ll explain.
Well, if you haven’t noticed, ranger’s support lives only as long as all ignore ranger itself. First random AoE in this video – and the spirit is dead (I would note that no1 does focus ranger itself, just random aoe). In addition, by itself, ranger’s buffs is a proc. Much better would be an option with two warriors, one of which is banners-support.
And This only structured PvP. Imagine WvW. Or dungeon, where everything is strewn with AoE and mobs choose completely randoml targets.
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
After the words “best ranged class” there is no more reason to read.
1)- Spirits and flags are incomparable. Banners have a permanent(!) buff, and spirits have only CHANSE to buff, banners invulnerable, and spirits (even with trait up) die with 2 hits. Ow.. and they have same range. To do so that they will went for a ranger, you must be deep in the natural magic, and then you will have zero damage. Many traps and spirits? Two traps and one spirit. Or two spirits and one trap.
2) In terms of the trap thief is 100 times better than ranger. Plus has 3 times more damage. 3) Want a good support with a ranged damage? This is anyone but not ranger. Elementalist. Engineer. Guardian. Necromancer. Mesmer. Not ranger. And yes, all these classes have more ranged damage and more damage and survival in close combat.
By the way, necromancer has much more a good ability than barrage on scepter.
Who is ranger after that? useless crap.

Here https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/professions/ranger/
Developers told about it themselves. What many people do not get tired to link.
“Rangers rely on a keen eye, a steady hand, and the power of nature itself. Unparalleled archers, rangers are capable of bringing down foes from a distance with their bows. With traps, nature spirits, and a stable of loyal pets at their command, rangers can adapt to any situation.”
The fact that the developers have said that rangers are such but they are NOT, literally mean that rangers are overnerfed.
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
So far i’ve noticed that this game doesn’t have DPS, Heals, and Tanks.
So you mean there is no such thing as doing damage in this game?
I meant, as in your job isn’t to just do damage. If my friend went down, i can send my pet to heal him. If my friend is getting hit too hard, i can pop my greatsword on my back and swoop in, counterattack, hilt bash, auto evade, roll away, pull longbow back out, continue to get my vulns going. Or, I can plant a frost trap, kite him over, than ping him with arrows while he crawls around. In pvp, poison trap, bye bye bunker guardian ultra heals.
You can do so much more than stand back and watch your auto attack. occasionally pressing sharping stone and complaining that your bored.
I’m absolutely sure that you did not play any other class.
longbow
There’s your problem.
Yes. Sure. No one except me use it, after all…
I began to feel that pet is no longer keep aggro as soon as I take out my longbow. I don’t even need shoot out of it. =P
Well, that’s… that’s realy TOO expensive! Especially since the appearance of racial armor usual (will softly tell) is not the most impressive…
In GW2, i guess, the most impressive cities I’ve ever seen in games. Bravo! They are remarkably filled with various interesting places, characters with whom you can communicate, the various dialogues, etc..
But
this all passages one time and no longer makes sense… It’s… terrible… waste! Looking at these cities, I want to stay there forever!
Why not to make events in the cities? Or smth… Maybe I’m wrong, but I think something like this was planned. Like target shooting in divinity’s reach. Well.. I mean, to do something that could kill time and have some kind of profit. Like karma or some unique look armor for example. In general, something than can be always there to engage.
What’s the point of T3 cultural? I thought that cultural armor is an alternative possibility to dress: spent some money, instead of walking through the dungeons or crafting. On 40 and 60 it still make sense. But at 80 … This is a rare(!) equipment, with not very good stats for 120(!!!) gold … I can buy a full exotic set for 25 gold!
I’ll collect all sets from dungeons and still will not save up enough money to T3 set.
Is unique appearance really cost so much?
With my necromancer (I remind you that this class is also considered as nerfed) in yellow equip, I can keep 10-15 bleeding, poison and cripple at all mobs on screen at once. Each bleed ticks for 120, 250 poison, plus every 5 seconds I give AoE crits in 1k and make a point to crit 700-2000.
This means that the yellow necromancer does 1650 damage per second with a huge aoe radius and overdamage ranger on target at the same time. At the same necro absolutely not lose any mobility, he don’t need to hold mobs together or at one place and he keeps all mobs under slowdown every time.
The damage of ranger? Sustained? What are you talking about? Enough to calm yourself. Ranger is pathetic, weak, lopsided, unbalanced sh…t, with one single advantage – pet tanking. Ooo eah!
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Lol maps 1-15 is completely different from higher level maps, regardless of how relative it seems or should be. 1-15 is super easy it’s intended for people’s learning curve… You have a much more difficult time in high level territory with swarms of skill spamming mobs with conditions and knock downs and so forth.
However the point that it is still easier on ranger is indeed true, but it is absolutely not spamming 1 autoattack…. Of course if you up your beast mastery and have ur pet tank everything that’s your build. But I don’t do that I am a heavy dps ranger myself, my pet functions synergistically. As well if u stand there from a distance rooted and press 1… It really doesn’t work on Orr when u have things coming at u from all directions, and they will attack you rather than ur pet aggro ing everything. I don’t know how you have been playing or not been playing in Orr but literally Orr is frustrating stuff when mobs have such huge range and are so aggressive as any level 80 player knows. Especially malchor
Nevertheless with the pet it does increase survivability but I don’t think it is that much a difference. You still die quick when you get overrun, challenging things are challenging things, if ur hitting one thing then no problem.
I have played other classes and they’re fun, super fun, I know what they can do. But I prefer the versatility and what you can do with a ranger, I find myself thinking ALOT more using ranger than other classes where it is mainly reaction based and alot of skill spam since u have the dps to kill them super fast before anything else happens. Else it’s easy to die if you don’t kill them. That to me is more simple than rangers. Other classes well maybe Mesmer thief and warrior mainly takes down things quick, but rangers take a while to kill something. A warrior can one shot kill in 1-15 but it takes my ranger two strikes at least this applies in higher level maps, and I use a lot more strikes an skills before something goes down. This is is true with any build I believe. I have interacted with a lot of rangers and watched them fight. Ranger requires a lot of thinking and is definitely not boring
We both understand you’re just trying to embellish the facts. Take any weapon (yes, yes, absolutely any), gather in orr 3-5 mobs, throw a flame and spike traps and just press auto attack. Do you think there will be many differences in comparison to your “way of playing”? I have no idea what you’re wearing, but I fully equiped for power precision and crit dmg. Even when I use builds without any survivability and 0 in beast mastery I calmly kills 5 + mobs, standing still in one plase and usually even don’t switch pet.
Let’s just no threat. U better just test thoroughly different weapons, such as a short bow. Look at the casting time and damage of abilities, their functionality. And maybe, you notice that the use of something other than AA only reduces your effectiveness.
Yes, you use it, you’re interested. But other players will think “but what for?” And do not find an answer. The class is extremely badly balanced. It still needs to work. Lot of work. And because of people who do not care about this imbalance and argue for those who see the flaws, believing that no one but them just don’t know how play, developers, may, believe that all wonderful.
They’re easy to play in easy situations lol but if you have to go solo a swarm or event, or find your place in a dungeon, trying to stay alive and effective in PvP/WvW, i dont think its any easier than any other class… really gotta be on your feet and use the right stuff at the right time, i.e. evasions, traps/condition, heals/pet swapping, pet skills, switching between melee / off hand skills and long range, there’s a lot in our arsenal that you need to make use of to stay alive in tough spots i believe. Perhaps I’m just seeking challenges all the time and don’t hesitate to go take on a huge swarm or solo a dungeon boss while everyone else was downed and still respawning xD
Ppls try to tell u that ranger so boring, not because he’s so easy to play. He’s so boring because he is just boring. Just in addition to this, he is also easy to play. In our arsenal, can be many things. But in 90% of cases, you use only a “1”. Because almost everything – unbalanced crap. Situations you described above can occur with all other classes. But just believe me, with playing any other class, it’ll seems much more interesting to you.
Paaah. Don’t listen to them. Ranger really REALLY boring. After playing ranger all classes seem varied and fun to me. Even necromancer delights. Ranger has no tacticity as described above. In PvE you just stand behind the mob and drills him with one ability, while your pet tanks. If there are a lot of mobs and pet is not a tank – you throw a trap on the ground and continue to drill em.
Ranger is like a class for those who like… eeem…. “standard” styles of play. Like in WoW or smth. There’s even about not using dodge. Either there is no sense or regret 10% damage. Exactly this, I believe, is meant as pve ease – stand and use “1” when pet tanks. If u like it – this class for you.Oh, and i should mention that the rangers can not be complete support class and has abyss of useless skills.
WOW. lol total hater xD and definitely someone who doesn’t use a ranger well. If that’s all you’re doing then something’s wrong with your build and gear…. Take it to Orr and see if you can still do that… every class gets screwed in there. If that’s still all you need to do then experiment with different builds and weapon sets once again as I’ve said before. Be effective but you can have some fun still. I’m pure melee right now. so much havoc and fun XD. If you go more tactical thats a lot of fun too. But the idea that you just stand there and do nothing … will get you killed.
And you, it turns, ranger-lover? I played a ranger more than 300 hours. I was standing in the one place fighting mobs in locations 1-15, so it continues in the Orr. Not necessary here to tell tales about how it is difficult. All complexity: you spend 30 seconds on mobs pack instead of 15. There are situations when you need to kite, for example, the champion. But that can happens with any other class. Maybe you use a wrong equip or build what you think it is so difficult?
Or better try to play any other class, for comparison. You’ll understand what means “fun” maybe.
Paaah. Don’t listen to them. Ranger really REALLY boring. After playing ranger all classes seem varied and fun to me. Even necromancer delights. Ranger has no tacticity as described above. Why not? I do not understand. Even with the pet damage (which, by the way, has no AoE) ranger’s GS (and not only GS) damage catastrophically far from the other classes. And in exchange of this damage ranger receives …. what? evade? Guardian constantly hanging -33% inc damage, for example. Where is the balance?
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Friends, you probably know little about scale of the problem. Do you have full imagin approximate damage of other classes? Let me sign for exemplary GS crit damage of ranger guardian and warrior, so you can better presented it.
Max damage equip with power, ctit and crit damage. (* – means cone aoe damage):
________Ranger____________Guardian__________Warrior
1- 1100-1100-1700*_____2500-2500-3500*______2100-2100-3000*
2- 1900*_____________1700x5(8.5k) aoe______~15.000*
3- 2000*_____________7000 aoe whirl________~7000 aoe whirl
4- 1900______________3500*_______________~5000k line aoe
5- 700_______________1600 aoe-pull_________~2000*
And you know damage of your pet. In contrast to this, they have all kinds of stacs of protection, power, vulnerability, burn from strikes etc.
In other words: in pvp you and your pet will be demolished within five seconds but you will beat them in a minute with all your evade, stun etc…. eeeeh.. cool, rly?
And in pve they’ll deal with pack of 5-6 mobs by ~3 strikes (~less than 10sec), and you with your pet will tank 5-6 mobs nearly a minute till u’ll kill it (or they’ll kill u, because you are not as thick as you think in comparison with them).
And now a question: do you really think that a minor maul buff will change something?
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Let’s be realistic. Why do you need evade, on class which has tanking pet? But in a real fight, when 100500 mobs on you, this evade “procs” once a year or except under QZ 4 seconds in a row. And shortbow also has stun. Is that tanking weapon? And well… If you will invest point in this two defensive lines, you will have such damage that you can just stand aside while pet beats mobs alone and the efficiency will stay almost unchanged.
Nonsense. What “tanking” in this weapon? Counterattack? That’s all? Then engineer’s wrench also tanking weapon? But it can crits nearly by 5k and ranger’s GS in “tanking” build may not issue more than 1.5K
+1 Damage is nothing. It can be used only for fun. And even this becomes boring because of extremly slow mobs killing.
ranger damage is pathetic. That’s why penalty is so. Whe only way to use haste well – is hang more bleeds with shortbow. Just stand face to ranger and u’ll avoid it.
@Ebs you understand TOO literally.
@Anarri Mesmer illusions spawns right near target and no matter if it will die. Elementalists attunement will nowhere disappear from elementalist and attunements do not need to catch up targets to hit. So u don’t need to choose traits like 30% crit damage, run speed, heal from damage, might to them etc. But this is necessarily fo ranger. Oh.. yes.. i just don’t know how to use three pet buttons….
I’m more sad about absence of options. No customization. No matter whether you like it or not, you must to invest much of attention to pet. Each class has own mechanic, but no one so depend on it as a ranger. You will not say that the necromancer is “death shroud class”, because he have such mechanic, right? He may not use it at all. As well as a thief can not to use steal, warrior can not to use adrenaline etc. But the ranger can’t manage without his pet and moste of his traits oriented only on pet. Ranger itself does not get better with level. Only his pet. Do you feel what i mean? )
Yep. That’s true. But this is weakness of class too. There are situations when pet can not attack or die too quickly. And… well… it’s just boring to see such low numbers of damage. For me, at least. Roughly ranger makes at least 20% percent less damage than any other class.
I do not want to argue, but what class does less damage than a ranger without a pet?
In my opinion the most boring class in the game. In PvE do not need any body movements, because pet tanks. In pvp immediately felt drawdown of damage compared to other classes. Immediately confused very low figure of damage. There is absolutely no freedom of traits choice. Class pet mechanic forces to give it all possible attention. All mandatory traits are those that improve your pet. Because YOU are a pet of your pet. This is the class style. That’s why ranger itself have lowest(!) damage of all.
To be honest, i played a lot by all classes, and ranger is only with which i more want to go vine forum than play game. It creates a sense of the most unfinished class in all game. But some people are even happy with it. So, you should really try. That’s not too long
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
It will not solve WvW problem. Pets can’t attack on walls and from walls, they must stand still to have normal atack and most of F2 abilities casts with 1-2 sec delay. Pet class in an action-oriented game is a failure concept. Damage must be shifted to ranger.
Even with steady focus and 2 procks of opening strike, with full damage gear with 30-45% crit bonus you can’t crit more than 3.5k. This is max longbow damage. This is max ranger crit. your pet can do ~2.5k. Rogue can do 6k crit with shortbow in rather balanced gear, but it’s chain AoE(!). Ranger is damage dealer? Don’t make me laugh. Ranger with pet difficulty overtakes other class damage. But in pvp u can just think that u have no pet at all. So… do you really realize what you’re talking about?
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
I do not understand why so many people are deny the obvious … Maybe they are too like ranger class theme. Fanatically.. I’ve had good play almost all classes. Tried to choose the weakest, according to friends and players in forum. I started with the necromancer, engineer. Tried elementalist. Mesmer. Warrior. I tried to carefully study all abilities and traits to compare.
Well… And I can say with full confidence that the ranger comprehensively WORST and weakest class in the game.
Let’s just think about it. Ranger have weakest signets, the worst social abilities in the form of spirits, miserable class abilities ala “buff pet” or “order pet to guard area” (face-palm), worst traps, most poor set of avoid bilities. Terrible weapon abilities. Do not agree? Almost with all weapons should be used exceptionally “1” abiliti. Other weapons should not be used at all. Seriously, if u not believe me – just compare with necromancer. Even in comparison with his abilities – ranger pathetic!
In addition to this, ranger has lowest damage in the game! Huge proportion of damage is shifted toward the pet. This is the worst idea that could be implemented in this game. If you regularly participate in any form of PvP pet is useless 3/4 of time.
And do not tell me that i just don’t know how to play this class. I’m far from the first time I play so-called “pet-class”. And so i can tell u: in GW2 such class is not sustainable.
The influence of class mechanics on this class is TOO large. Most classes have a minor trait upgraids for class mechanics. Like invisibility after the steal, or movement speed in death shroud. However, the majority required ranger’s traits somehow associated with the pet. For example, 30% critical damage. No matter HOW would you like to play, you have to (and yes, it’s bad) pay most of attention to your pet, not for ranger itself.
Ranger in its current form not sustainable as a class in the game. At any rate, in comparison to other classes. In solo PvE do what you want to do. The only option to correct it – is remove from the pet half of class damage and return it to the character. Change abilities and traits in favor of the ranger, not pet. Otherwise ranger own only veterans in Orr.
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
Woooooooooooot?!?!? TO HELL WITH THIS DRAKE!! Give us another model!
Helos right. Perhaps ranger have many options but not more than other classes. But almost all weapon based only on one usable ability. All other useless trash. Oh… and suppa-duppa funy and interesting gratesword has damage like s….t
but it is UNIQUE! =?
Hehe… Now ranger have no normal pve weapon at all =P
It’s need to be done, i think. This nameplates annoying
No, they has not. What classes you played at 80th lvl? Ranger can only compete with Mesmer and Necromancer. Weakly. Those, on average, have 10-15% more damage without pets. Guardian, Warrior, Elementalist makes triple(!) more damage than a ranger without pet.
Did not understand what’s good in this “interrupt” trait? It just makes it possible to attack while interrupt … no?
4 low damage ability? Do you understand that ranger itself can not reach dps of any other class? And yeah… Both pet can die. And they can not attack in some situations. Then the ranger just a character with a vary little dps. Is it grate? Transfer damage from these abilities on the ranger’s abilities and will be fine.
He is don’t want to use pet at all. Like it was in GW1. This game supposedly offers unprecedented options. Warrior wanted to shoot a bow – got it. Magician wanted to hit in close combat – got it. Ranger wanted to play without a pet ….. He wanted to tank the mobs by his own …….. where is the option?
You bring comparison with only shortbow? Have it your way. Than what will you advise to people who want to play a ranger, but do not want 20% of their damage was the pet? Have you tried to send your pet to attack the player on the wall of the fortress? Or on the rocks, which you can only jump on? -20% Damage. OK?
Hah… The same situation. I love bowman classes independent of pets. After GW1 I was hoping to see the same here. But …
I’m more afraid of scale of this problem. I try to explain that the percentage of pet’s influence is too high, and people answered to me “not as high as you say.” Those who are satisfied with the situation can not understand the problem of absence of options.
I do not know what kind of pet does hits by 400. It is more like on 2×400 shortbow hit against his 1×650. You have dot, he have abilites which hits by 1500. And eah… many rangers believe shortbow is the most powerful ranger weapon.
Hey, are you kidding?! Pet deals HALF of rangers’s damage! We must be play a different games? With beastmaster 10 + it makes 60%. With a short bow you deal a critical by 900 2 times per second, and pet 2000 per 1 second. He’s right – you are just pet of your pet. Any other class doing double-triple damage than a ranger with no pet!
We compared many specs. Most damage for greatsword is 20 \ 30 \ 20 \ 0 \ 0. Equipment we chouse was with maximum power, precision and crit damage. 2k crit – is a limit (from “3”). “1” is about 1.1k crit. one-handed sword can do ~1.2k on average, but 30-40% faster. (For the moment, the critical damage of “1” longbowe we can overclocked up to ~5k and 900-950 for shortbow)
All except bears, i guess ) . The necessary use of the bear is a minus for customization. Don’t your agree? And minus to your damage.
(edited by MeGaZlo.9516)
And what is the maximum critical of your greatsword?
I don’t say “full”. Just glossed sense for more drama ) But yep. If u have 0 in BM – it can. So u have no choise, but spent at least 10 points in BM
