Hi Dayra,

We understood the topic correctly. You say that the zoom hack is being used massively since the AC buff, and that Anet needs to do something about it. As was stated “Also, please remember that posting in the forums about it does not help the team solving the issue”, and this is why this answer was given and the thread was closed. The part about the screenshots was just informative, so that new forum members knew what can and can’t be done.

The zoom Anet sees as legit is, of course, the game’s default zoom. Anything, any other tool or program that allows you to zoom further back, hence providing you with an advantage over other players, is not allowed and considered an exploit.

As a last point, if, as you say, the zoom hack is out of control, then we please need the help of the community to point out who is doing this so the CS team can deal with it, both exploiters and exploits.

I hope this clears out why the mod team posted that and closed the thread.

Devon Carver stated that they are looking into making the W3 colors change not only based on your score, so servers could have different starting positions. This would, in turn, help with the W3 completion problems.

So far we have no further news about this idea, but it is being looked into. As soon as we have something to forward to you we will. Please, have a little patience. Keep an eye on the W3 forums.

Please, understand that the team must be very very careful when dealing with both exploits and exploiters. Then can’t go trigger happy on their job, else it would do more bad than good. Reports are always of use, but they must be done the right way. It’s no use posting about exploits in the forums, as that would only lead to making them common knowledge and more people using them. That is why we ask you to report them.

The team does their best to deal with both exploits and exploiters, so please, have a little bit of patience and keep providing us with evidence. If you have screenshots or videos, please remember to forward them to the CS team -http://en.support.guildwars2.com/-. And remember, under no circumstance post acussing someone of exploiting.

I use the in game reporting tool. Should I mark them as “gold seller” or “botting”? Because those are my gaddamn options. I’ll believe you care when you actually put a “hacking / exploiting” on the report tool. Until then, you’re just blowing smoke up our assets.

It gives the player an unfair advantage over the rest.

You can play as much accounts at the same time as you wish, provided you are ACTIVELY playing them. No third party software, no 1 key for 5 characters. Remember this rule. One key = one action for one character.

As such, multiboxing, in the terms of making several characters act at once with one single key, is not allowed.

We know reporting teleporting bots its very difficult. The best approach for this is to take a screenshot (or as many as needed) and forward them to the CS team http://en.support.guildwars2.com/ so they can deal with it.

If you have been hacked the first thing you must do is to open a ticket, which I see you have already done.
The team might take a bit to answer, so in the meantime, please scan your computer looking for any kind of malicious software.

As you can see here – http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Equipment_acquisition_by_stats – Valkirye stats are only attaibale via crafting. THey don’t drop in dungeons or Karma vendors.

Regarding looks, here you can see all armors by race. Just select your race and click on medium armor and all will be displayed. http://www.gw2armorgallery.com/index.html.

Regardless of stats, all armors look the same.
