I got a ticket on my fourth gem store coffer when I bought a pack of 5. I’m happy. It’s the same thing every time, people complaining about RNG. It’s supposed to be rare, not everyone will have one. One of the sharks I killed there dropped The Legend, that’s like… 590g per 10 seconds, or 3540g per minute. If you keep going, it’s 212,400g an hour.

In cursed shore try the attack and defense of Arah… moldy bags drops there just as before RngNet unleashed their nerfing spree.

I tried to kill around 50 sharks. I dropped few T5 scales and exotic necklace…. no T6 scales… I’m not saying I don’t believe you… I just think something is terribly wrong with your luck or something else in general..

Survivability of guardian in WvW is quite low because when enemies see one, they immediately go to take him down – at least that’s what were happening to me many times. So I geared myself with full soldier equipment and traits and even though damage is low, I do like it quite a lot Pretty awesome feeling to survive InstaDown AoE which downs my entire party in dungeon

Destiny’s Edge as henchmen would actually be pretty great! They would need to increase the party size though.

Actually, I got some cheap exotic vest from the magnificent chest spawned after Karka Queen. I did it only once so far.

Or I could play on my Engi main and have unlimited speed boosts thanks to that amazing trait where simply swapping kits allows it.

I was pointing to teleportation skill on sword (and teleport on utility skill) and leap skill on greatsword Sometimes they are better than speedboosts

If you want to just experience the lore behind GW2 buy Prophecies and EOTN, so you can get some of the Hall of Monuments reward to you GW2 account. As soon as you get into LA, start doing EOTN campaign and get some heroes so you will be able to finish Prophecies storyline without finding help (even in the group with you girlfriend and henchmen it would be ultra hard for casual players). However, if I were you, I would buy all the campaigns and finish all their missions.

It is somehow beautiful game, never played anything like that before. And you will finally understand that long flame threat about “Bring Cantha back” in the forum

hmm, yeah i agree they are often, but not to my taste (my problem :P) i find everything about the updates childish, all the content they add is childish but maybe its because i played gw1 for so long which had a more serious view even on the wintersday event

Unless the jungle dragon is the exact opposite of other dragons, it cannot be in any sort a pale tree because pale tree is like pure goodness. And every dragon looks like a dragon while pale tree does not. Maybe it would be a champion of jungle dragon, but that does not make too much sense either.
Malyck is sylvari from another pale tree and when he decided to travel to Maguuma, it foreshadowed really great story for the future expansions.

Actually, scenario number 1 kind of makes sense When you put 4 items of some rarity, you get back another item of the same quality or better and because Lengedary is the best quality, you will get the same one. So if you put inside 4 legendaries and you get back some cheap offhand like Minstrel, well… /facepalm

Look, this whole thing is silly. I’ve said this in other threads and I’ll say it again now. Why is Crystalline dust so expensive? Because it dropped a lot more in Orr than it does in Southsun and right now, South sun is the place to farm.

In another week, Southsun won’t be the place to farm anymore, and some people will go back to Orr where crystalline dust drops more often. Not TONS more often but more often. And the price will go down.

Just look at blood and armored scales. Blood and armored scales have come down in price since the South Sun event started. Other items that dropped more in Orr went up in price.

The price will go down again when more people are back to farming Orr.

The next event is a party in Lion’s Arch. No one can farm there. So people will be going back to Orr and the price will come down.

People will not return to Orr, it has been nerfed to hell and back, most the mobs drop nothing but porse bones and every once in awile you get heavy moldy bags, I read a post where if you run all of the events in Orr you get between 15-20 Heavy moldy bags, that don’t seem like it’s gonna get a lot of people running back to it to me, especially since 50% of them bags drop silk and leather, and 40% drop T5 mats. Not an exact number, but almost dead on…

Yeah, this one is right and btw. it seems that the only DE chain worth farming is the one with conquering the gates of Arah. I drop moldy bags and rares quite a lot there.

If he got rolled back in his personal story why is it so unbelievable for you that his journal rolled back too? He gave you 2 pieces of evidence, I don’t see a reason why you still don’t believe him. And for the record, I remember some old posts about people who skipped some story steps and with the help from devs they got it fixed, so there are some instances of issues with story continuity.

Do you think that the price will ever go up? When I dropped it I was madly happy because at that time it was worth 75 gold. With the thought of going it up after time I rather deposited it into my bank to sell it later for more that 100g and well, of course it was a big mistake.
I listed that skin for 30g now, because I am starting to think that it will never raise again. When more SAB levels will come, it will be available through grind again, and even if not, I think every player who wanted that sword already has it, and nobody will be willing to pay for it more that it costs now.
So what is your opinion?

No…no it does not at all. Badges do not even mean you have pvp’d since then are mainly farmed via the jp’s. A person can load gw2 and within 1 minute have a legendary if that doesn’t discount the “participation factor” idk what else would.

Yesterday I played WvW for 30 minutes, got 12 Badges… I don’t see a problem.

I thought they changed it do daily account reward, but they did not.. they just completely turn it off and switched it to one-time reward… great, so exploiters got their gold (again) and we got… oh sorry, we got nothing (again). I love your logic Anet, I really do, what shouldnt I love on constant farming nerfs and rng in all corners of the endgame? done with this…

Sorry Regina but I don’t believe you. Salvaging rares for ecto yield almost always only 1 ecto. 2 per salvage are very rare and haven’t got 3 per salvage in months (I salvage every rare I get). I am okay with it since they are cheap, but don’t say someone haven’t done something with it…..

It doesn’t matter which salvage kit you use. If you use BL kits on cheap rares, you are wasting them.

So i was watching the debut trailer from guild wars 2, and i was wondering what happend to some places that were shown in it, but are not in the game. Maybe i missed some of them (almost have world completion) and some places were early concpet so they’re a kittenanged now, but there are still some things that look really awesome and i think should be in the game. I hpe anybody knows more of these missing zones

Completely agree with Vol. Anet, if you don’t want to farmers block events (or are you fighting against bots? if yes, this is wrong way how to do it), just make ALL zones rewarding loot not only by level of the mobs but also by level of players. For example: Ridgeback scale lvl 20: 30% chance on drop T2 mat, 5% chance drop Tx mat, x=varies according to player level.

Even though it is not true, your game seems to be dead for all new players visiting midlevel zones.

If you don’t wanna players to farm easy low level mobs, well… make high level players weaker. Your current scaling down is not enough
