Lets talk about these shall we? They are generally regarded as the worst possible choices in the game. Everything from Norns’ Become The… to Rampage for Warrior are just awful. Poor Necromancer has two out of his three Elites being Transforms; when fighting under water he can only use the worse of the two.

I don’t think there is any Transform in the game right now that is actually good. They don’t grant you enough bonuses to make up for the fact that you lose out on your Healing skill and your three Utility skill.

I really hope Anet is planning on rehauling the Transform mechanic.

The problem with Backbreaker is that

a) The animation takes forever

b) It takes forever for you to “snap out” of the attack and be able to use another attack.

So you’ll never really get the damage bonus from Merciless Hammer.

You want Norn beards? You can’t handle the beardsome, you puny Human!

Warriors are not beasts in teamfights. We’re next to useless in WvW. There is no justification taking a Warrior over a Thief. Or Mesmer. Or Elementalist. That unholy trinity rules WvW.

Nothing it doesn’t already do for Hundred Blades and Whirlwind Attack.

Your point is still invalid because two horrible ways of getting one does not magically make it good.

Really, to me it just sounds like that now that you got your Precursor, you don’t want Anet to implement an easier way for anyone else to get theirs. Sorta… dickish.

They are supposed to be rare, and to achieve this rng is the best choice.
I did not do any market manipulation at all. Most of the people that speak about market manipulation don’t have any idea how it works and what is required to do so.

On the side note, in my opinion SH won’t make it any easier.

As a Warrior, I’m all for it. It would level the playing field between the Protection and non-Protection Professions (a friggin’ Elementalist is more tanky than me!).

Just because both methods of obtaining a Precursor are tremendously bad, they do not somehow justify each other. You either gamble with the RNG (which is bad) or you bend over and take it up the wazoo by the market manipulators (which is also bad).

Two wrongs do not make a right.

As long as you have the ingredients available, you should be able to simply hit “Forge” over and over without having to painstakingly reselect the ingredients over and over and over and over and over again.

Perhaps add it so you can make a selected number of crafting attempts like with the crafting disciplines.

It would deflate these, and they sorely need to be deflated in price. The less the 1% are able to ruin the Legendary crafting materials, the better.

Forget about the AoE Targeting circle. In my experience, the person you’re throwing to has to be in the exact middle of it for it to count. Might as well just think of it as a single-target ability.

When you’re forging 100-200 items per go, it gets really, really annoying to have to re-pick all the ingredients each time. Is there a way to have the Forge save them so you can just click “Forge!” over and over?

Ok. Lets think about Fixed Recepie for precursor.
Imagine what would it be if this recepie required 250 Lodestones from each type and it would be multistage one i.e. you need to craft Colossus shaft and head separately.
Imagine the cost or time required to get precursor this method.
I will take my rng.
Regarding Scavenger Hunt. It won’t necessary means it will be easier to get precursor that way. What if it make it worse to gain?

Your counter argument is laughable. 250 of each Lodestone? That alone puts them over the most expensive Precursor. Why would that make it even stupider than what we have now?

You just refuse to be wrong and make up such ridiculous claims.

I love you you just assume that everyone can just buy it from TP. No. No we can’t because they’ve been manipulated to high heavens when it comes to price.

The whole concept of the Precursor is flawed. There should not be a single item like that upon which all your Legendary progress depends upon. At least stuff like T6 materials and Ectos can’t be manipulated; but since the Precursors are so rare and singular, it is gotten really, really bad.

If they really want to keep this idea, the Precursor should be gotten with a fixed Mystic Forge recipe and none of this RNG gamble nonsense.

This isn’t about using Conditions; it is about stacking the Condition Damage stat through equipment. I also like to see you not use Bleed with the Rifle or Sword.

That’d be impossible.

I hate it on certain encounters, such as the CoF Tribune boss and CoE Destroyer boss. There just isn’t any way for your team to ress you in the lava.

Whats even more annoying is that this stupid thing still exists in the game. When they nerfed the vein, they should’ve removed the Champion babysitter.

Forceful Greatsword should apply to all weapons in order to even the gap between them. It is one of the two major reason why most people use Greatswords.

There are just too many downsides to a Condition build.

Poor stat scaling, you can’t damage objects and you’re useless in group events due to Condition stacks severely limiting you.

a Does the Heal or the Condition removal apply first? i.e if you’re Poisoned, does it remove it before applying the Heal or do you lose 33% of the Healing?

b The Restorative Strength trait removes Crippled, Chilled, Immobilize, and Weakness. Does this trait apply before or after the Condition removal from Mending?

It is useless in PvP/WvW because everyone moves around. Even in PvE it is most often a waste of time because the mob will just move out of range of it.

Gender as a social construct. As they have no sexes, genders don’t make any sense ( at least to me).

Vitality is not a great stat on Warriors because we have one of the highest base Healths in the game already. Toughness is a much better stat to invest in if you want tank.

For the love of peaches, remove the self-root on this thing. It is nearly useless because of it.

Main-hand Axe – An alternative ranged mode, so that you can throw your Axe. Warriors need a one-handed ranged option.

Actually, Warriors suck as condition spec. Our main condition is Bleed which stacks very poorly with Condition Damage. Just go for Power/Precision and let your Bleed/Burns be a nice bonus on the side.

Retaliation is definitely worth-while with all these Berserker builds running around.

Retaliation+Endure Pain/Shield’s Block, ho!

Actually, regarding the icebrood norn that walk on all four – in Snowden Drifts there’s an event chain that focuses on Snowdrift Haven and Jormabakke Stead, where if you fail to destroy the dragon totem in the timelimit a veteran Svanir Shaman performs a ritual on himself and becomes a Champion Icebrood Shaman – using the larger Icebrood Norn (all fours) model.

So there’s at least one case of a norn going from living to large with a face that shows a revealed skull.

In the Priory storyline, the norn who takes the Sanguinary Blade also turns into a different Icebrood that has an exposed skull (shared with that CoE explorable icebrood boss).

Exactly. If you take a look at the higher-ups in the Sons hierarchy they almost always use the model which has started to become covered in corrupted ice (i.e an arm/shoulder). So it is not far-fetched nor unlikely that Icebrood Colossi were Sons who received one too many “gifts” from Dragon.

Ranged classes in general have a hard time hitting these kitten things. I would, as many others in this thread, suggest a Greatsword due to its large cleave radius.

Everything is balanced, don’t worry. Your Asura is just as capable as a Norn when it comes to being a Warrior, despite the absurdity of that from a lore viewpoint.

Erhm, have you taken a look at an Icebrood Colossus? They were Norn at one point; you can see their spine as well as their skulls inside the blocks of Corrupted Ice.

Which is why you should never go full Icebrood.
