Well, you have two choices really.
You’ve got the more tanky Knight type of armour which gives you Power/Precision/Toughness and you’ve got the more suicidal Berserker type of armour which gives you Power/Precision/Critical Damage. Personally I use Knight armour/weapons and use Berserker accessories (they’re called Ruby rather than Berserker).
Also probably should’ve explained the Traits:
10 Strength: Restorative Strength – most of the time when you need to heal, you will be under fire and most likely afflicted by these Conditions. A solid PvP trait in general. If you plan on falling down cliffs, you can replace it with Death From Above for a reduction in fall damage.
20 Strength: Distracting Strikes – Hammer can really interrupt people, and when they see Confusion damage they either have to waste a Condition Removal ability or start to panic and use their abilities less.
10 Defense: Many options here. Sure-Footed is nice, and so is Embrace The Pain. Go with whatever you feel like.
20 Defense: Merciless Hammer. Obvious Choice.
30 Defense: Now here you can either go Spiked Armor or Defy Pain for automatic immortality. I generally use Spiked Armour and use the Endure Pain ability manually, which is a neat combo if you get a lot of people attacking you.
10 Tactics: Leg Specialist. Works wonders with Hammer’s 3 ability to stop everyone in front of you dead in their tracks. Also works with Sword’s 3.
20 Tactics: Quick Breathing: For almost permanent Swiftness with your Warhorn, as well as some extra Condition Removal.

That’s the blackest Norn I’ve ever seen!
Well, except for that Mr. T look-alike.
Do you even lift, bro?
I’d go Son of Svanir but not Icebrood. I prefer to keep my sentience and whatever piece of humanity I have, thank you very much.
Do you even lift, bro?
No Leg Specialist? Both the Hammer and Greatsword benefit greatly from it. I would also take Distracting Strikes as 20 Strength Trait when running with the Hammer. It doesn’t do too much damage, but when people see Confusion damage they kinda start to panic a little.

Go Norn or go home is my opinion. Charr in heavy Cultural are pretty sweet as well, though.
Personally I run a 20/0/30/20/0 build with Sword+Warhorn and Hammer.
Sword+Warhorn for giving your roaming party some Swiftness, Hammer for knocking your victims around.

I see. Also, I lol’d at
I can only congratulate the people who cornered the silver doubloon market. This reminds me of my best pubbie griefing moments on the market of EVE.
As an EVE player, I found that hilariously fitting when talking about GW2’s economy…

It’s a random drop from a certain lvl range of mobs
And what level range might that be?
Do you even lift, bro?
You need 250 of these for Juggie and I haven’t seen a single one, and I’ve been playing some launch. Where/how do I get these? It would cost me a fortune to buy them all..

There is no inconsistencie here. Gun’s don’t people, the people using the gun do. The same goes for undead minion’s. They are the tool, and the technique to raise the dead to be undead can be used for good or bad. The game is saying that Zhaitan is evil.
Except that building and firing a gun is not inherently evil. Putting together an undead abomination and send it shambling off to fight for you is inherently evil, or at the very least immoral.

What the… Ballys? Really? There’s a place called Ballys? And a gym no less?
Hilarious.

Unfortunately Bear Form is by far the worst. It is sad, because it is my favourite Spirit of The Wild.
Whoever came up with the idea of having Knockback tied to a form that can’t move while attack should be… spanked. It counters itself!
Do you even lift, bro?
Bleed will be your main source of Condition damage, and Bleed has a really bad scaling with the stat Condition Damage. I’d go with Power/Precision/Crit damage (Berserker) OR Power/Precision/Toughness(Knight) and let the Bleed/Burning be a nice side-effect rather than the whole focus of your build.

The Flesh Golem seriously needs swimming lessons.
It is so annoying having him despawn and go on cooldown as soon as you dip your pinky in a puddle.
Do you even lift, bro?
If you allow us Warriors to use Pistols.
Pistol+Warhorn would be totally awesome.

Hoelbrak is no different than any of the homesteads you find out in the various Norn areas; in essence it is not a city but rather Knut Whitebear’s home. It might become a proper city soon enough though, with more and more refugees settling there recently.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yo dawg, I heard you like healing so we made your heal into a shout so you can heal when you heal.
Using Vigorous Shouts, of course.
Do you even lift, bro?
Personally, before we discovered how to fool the AI, we just had one person stand and constantly chuck out barrels to the left and right while the rest placed the barrels. The NPCs should be too busy with all the extra barrels.
Alternatively you could just have a two-three people grab a barrel and run away as far as possible, taking all the mobs with them, while the rest line the barrels up at the door.

I’ve always wanted that awesome bucket helm…

Here is my Norn. The cultural armor is just too cool to pass up. I am a little disappointed in the gauntlets however, I dont like the fingers showing.
Fingers showing and the antlers being so tiny are my pet peeves with that set. I bought the entire set, but ended up just using the pants in the end…lol

Regeneration stacks duration, so I believe they would just make the total length of the Boon last longer.

According to the developers it is indeed just a visual bug.
We just have to take their word for it.

My question is why does everyone care so much about horses?
My Little Pony, I guess?
Anyway, there were horses in Tyria once. Alas, the Carr discovered that they tasted good with barbeque sauce. Real good.
Do you even lift, bro?
why does everyone hate on necros there not as bad as you make them out to be i love mine and i can kill anyone thiefs are a bit tricky though
They’re not bad but are they able to have the same impact in WvW as Mesmers and Elementalists?
Hardly.
Do you even lift, bro?
How is it a troll thread?
You asked a question, we gave you replies, you refused them.
Troll thread.
I don’t think trolling means what you think it means.
Do you even lift, bro?
How is it a troll thread? I asked a question based on my observations. I’ve yet to see a post arguing for, for example, the viability of Necromancers. You really don’t need any other classes, heck if it weren’t for porting Golems, Mesmers wouldn’t be vital either.
Do you even lift, bro?
Ranger
Good point. Someone has to spam that AoE arrow rain to Cripple people and set up kills for the Eles/Thieves/Mesmers.
Do you even lift, bro?
Warrior and Guardian can be more front line then other classes. They can take more damage.
Again, this is false. Guardian and Warrior can only face-tank which doesn’t give you great odds at surviving. An D/D Elementalist zipping in and out of the enemy zerg, healing himself repeatedly, will have a much higher survival rate than a Warrior or Guardian.
Thief/Mesmer with their stealth? lol… no contest.
Do you even lift, bro?
Some of the worst minor traits too, sadly.
Do you even lift, bro?
What do I do in WvW? Leech off the Elementalist/Thieves/Mesmers that can actually have an impact there….
Pity badges.
Do you even lift, bro?
Please.
What do these three Professions have in common?
Cheap escapes. They can tank just as well, if not muuuuch better, than a Warrior/Guardian by simply jumping in and out of an enemy zerg unmolested.
Do you even lift, bro?
Why would you ever need any Profession other than these three? Honestly, the balance between the Professions in WvW is so out of whack. You could just run a huge group of these three Professions and you’ve got everything covered.
Go ahead, make me an argument why you should take a Necromancer over an Elementlist or Mesmer… Or why you should bother as a Warrior/Guardian at all?
Do you even lift, bro?
Personally, I never understood how Burning couldn’t affect objects.
Do you even lift, bro?
Going 30 tactics for boon duration is like going with a blonde for an intellectual talk.
Seriously, rune of the monk/sanctuary/water = 45% boon duration = full upkeep of SoR.
And then you can go deep into the real Warrior trees.
But then instead of “sacrificing” Trait points for Boon Duration, you’re “sacrificing” proper Rune slots for Boon Duration, are you not?

Nice try though.

A lot of animals have fur but would never survive in the arctic.
Like Lions.

When you hit lvl 30 you can run Ascalonian Catacombs, the first dungeon. Its a breath of fresh air from running Tasks out in the field. Just make sure you get into a group that can explain everything to you.
Do you even lift, bro?
It is seriously messed up. Your character is either looking up in the sky or at the toes of the thing he is fighting. Look at my character bending over at the middle when fighting the Nightmare Vine.

Her boobs are too big.
They’re too round… Whoever runs the plastic surgery gambit in GW2 must be a richer than the Charr that owns the Trading Post.
Do you even lift, bro?
Looks close to the crafted Banded set.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yes!
Together with a Hide Gloves-option, of course.

Yeah.
How about no?
It is neither a modern day nor sci-fi game.
You do, however, get +1 points for those Klingon blades.

Why does it take four friggin’ logs to make one plank? Compare to Orichalcum which only requires two pieces of ore per ingot.
How is this fair when they are rarer than the Ori? You’re not even guaranteed one lousy plank per Ancient Sapling as it is very common to get three logs.

You can, condition-removal or dodge.
Yeah I can Shake It Off one per 20-25 seconds – which removes one Bleed stack. Too bad you constantly encounter tons of Scouts/Pickpockets who can easily spam this twirl attack and reapply the Conditions again.
Face it, they’re the reason why everyone loathes CM.
Perhaps other dungeons should also have enemies which aren’t complete push-overs.
+ use Mending.
How are you not getting this? There are tons of enemies, and they all spam it. Your puny Condition Removals are not able to keep up.
Do you even lift, bro?
I won’t go into much details for obvious reasons, but you should consider making him reset when he is pulled out of the totem room. There is far too much terrain from which you can attack him without retaliation outside of it.

That’s like 1000×15-20 minutes.

Could have something with the 25 Bleed stacks and Poison the female Bandit mobs inflict with one of their spin attacks.
Do you even lift, bro?
Is it a Corrupted/Icebrood Wolf?
Yeah their Lunge attack gets pretty insane when they are bumped up to, for example, Champion level. That Champion that spawns during the second phase of The Claw of Jormag fight can pretty much one-shot anyone with it’s Lunge as well.
Do you even lift, bro?
It is so over-used these days. I guess everyone is mesmerized by the purdy flames… 99% of Warriors these days use this set dyed Abyss/Blood with Twilight.
