Well i knew there was going to be some haters like there is in every thread but i honestly believe in this game its skill>stats and i like being somewhat zerker because it forces me to dodge and avoid damage better.
Because recognizing the problems that the class do suffer from makes me a “hater”.
Gotcha.

Stability is a beautiful thing. Feels like a very warrior-y boon. It’s just a bit of a shame guardians are better at providing it.
If only our big-shot Stability ability (Rampage) didn’t suck so much.
Do you even lift, bro?
Well yesterday I was doing CoE and we were stacking Alpha…one of my rangers was attacking the boss with his Longbow in melee range…I don’t even…someone explain…please…
Its easier to avoid his attacks in melee on most paths. Like his big ice AoE can’t target you if you’re humping him.
I think he’s referring to the ranger’s weapon of choice for the situation as that severely gimps any damage contribution. A shortbow, for example, would be more ideal because its damage is not affected by range and gives an extra dodge on skill 3.
There’s still some logic to his choice.
I guess.
Do you even lift, bro?
Orr wasn’t hard.
It was annoying as kitten.
Do you even lift, bro?
@milk
Stacking armor is not necessary to people who can swiftly disengage and avoid damage.
In zerg fights I jump into the enemy zerg (usually on a flank), down 3-5 people in a second then WA>Rush>Leap away as soon as I am focused.
Then I jump in again, blast some more people to the ground and leap away again.
No point for me in sitting there to take damage and deal none when I can do this.
Against Thieves I just pop EP and their burst is gone then I 3-shot them. You get rooted, knocked down and chained cc’ed before you get out. And we ain’t even talking about the quazillion wells on the ground insta downing everything a bit berserker like. And insta downing 3-5 people? So you are telling me you can solo a party? A full channel of HB does around 1/3th of my health bar.
Thiefs come in, you activate EP, thief pops out and goes stealth waits 3s and does burst. Repeat if you aren’t dead yet.
This is the “sad but true” life of a Warrior in PvP.

Splish splash. One Norn in the bath.

I do not understand why you need this?
Doesn’t the trait trigger when you reach 25% health?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Defy_Pain_
Not every single time you reach 25% Health.
There is a cooldown involved.
Another similar Trait:

(edited by Oglaf.1074)
if that happens then it still did its job, (i also carry balanced stance as a utility)
That makes it even more useless. Balanced Stance triggers the 90 seconds cooldown on Last Stand.
Do you even lift, bro?
Guardians do get that fancy Aegis shield effect though.
Do you even lift, bro?
How is it “not” a need? You need to be able to rely on these Traits!
Do you even lift, bro?
You realize how unlikely that is to happen? It is is a lot more likely some stray CC; perhaps a Catapult or something, blows the whole thing and when you need it you’re waiting for the 90 seconds cooldown.
Do you even lift, bro?
No-one agrees with me? I know I’ll probably get infracted for bumping, but darn it, this is an important feature we need!
Do you even lift, bro?
Male Norn is definitely great. His voice acting is generally top-notch in my opinion. Only problem is that Male Norn Warriors are everywhere!
Do you even lift, bro?
If in doubt, Wiki it.

90 seconds and activating Balanced Stance automatically triggers the cooldown. Pretty stupid and not worth it.
Do you even lift, bro?
… for a lack of a better term. Stuff like “Defy Pain” for Warrior. These are very random when you get them to trigger. Some sort of notification that the Trait is ready to fire would be very nice.
Perhaps a buff icon next to your row of Boons/Signets that only you can see (as to not give out information in PvP fights). You would get an icon that says “Defy Pain is ready.” when mousing over it, otherwise it would display a countdown of how many seconds there are until the effect is ready to be triggered again.

If you Trait Steal to deal damage is one of the more overpowered abilities in the game, really.

There is more passion in Rytlock’s and Logan’s relationship than there is between him and Queen Jennah, truth be told…
Do you even lift, bro?
Soon ppl will say only noobs run FGJ:P
And if you have sig of rage? “kitten l2p or go die now n00b”
5sig – noob war
fgj – noob war
banners – noob warLets all run Kick, Stomp and Bolas in open pve and dungeons:)
I really doubt that. Everyone loves FGJ, not just Warriors.
Do you even lift, bro?
to solo simple supply camp (100/100 -150/150)you need arround 20 seconds with bereker build.
Rush on first scout, do 2 -3 normal hits untill veteran and guard come near you. then use 3 stances (balanced stance / endure pain /frenzy ) and hundred blades. Scout will die and guard will be under 30% hp , he need 2-3 more hits. Whirlwind to the other veteran scout and hundred blades. all mobs will be dead except champion will be arround 20%
Except that the Scout will spam her Blind and you’ll miss most, if not all, attacks…?
Do you even lift, bro?
The spinning camera sucks, there definitely needs to be an option to remove it. If you go down it is annoying having to manually force the spinning to stop if you, for example, want to watch how the rest of your party are doing.
Option to turn it off is a must-have.
Do you even lift, bro?
Magic Find is no “on switch for the good lootz”.
You’re still at the mercy of the RNG devil.
Do you even lift, bro?
Capes suck. Dinky little things. I’d rather want pelts on my Norn Warrior.
Do you even lift, bro?
I dunno. The constant Blind spam from the Scouts always messes it up for me. You really want two guys, or more…
Do you even lift, bro?
here’s to hoping precursors get wound in with the new “guild” quest/mission system for guild play.
I can almost guarantee you it won’t.
Guild quests=rewards affecting your guild.
At least that’s how I read it.
Do you even lift, bro?
4x Incinerators but that is just a plan. I have no intention of finishing it. :P
Are you General Grievous….?
Do you even lift, bro?
With the price of Precursors, Legendaries definitely need less gold sinks. The Icy Runestones should be removed.
Good idea, give players wanting a legendary 100g more to spend on a precursor. That won’t raise the price of precursors at all. /sarcasm
Yeah because supply/demand is how Precursors are priced. Not like you have a few players having monopoly on them or nothing.
Oh wait…
People are buying them at the current price, there is demand there. We also know the drop rate for them is tiny. Whether they are being manipulated or not is irrelevant when the supply is tiny and people are STILL buying them at the current price…still supply/demand, the only thing the possible manipulation does is get it to the max price a buyer will pay (ie the highest demand)
That’s funny. You know who probably buys them? People who buy them out to re-list them for higher prices!
Do you even lift, bro?
Basically there are two types of boons:
1) Those which stack in power, such as Might.
2) Those which stack in duration, such as Fury and Regeneration.
You should never underestimate Fury. Especially if you’re in a party with non-Warriors; they’ll love you for using FGJ.
Do you even lift, bro?
VIGOR
This buff is king against Subject Alpha due to the constant dodging required. When I play my Warrior I use Signet of Stamina+Warhorn (which do stack!).
Greatsword Whirlwind is an extra dodge that comes with a 7-20k damage with it.
Doesn’t really help my party though. The Vigor/Weakness from Warhorn does.
Do you even lift, bro?
Could be 30. I used them for a while, but then promptly replaced them. They’re not worth their cost at all.
Do you even lift, bro?
The time and effort involved getting the Precursor is out of whack in comparison to the rest of the stuff.
Myself and many others have all the ingredients bar the Precursor.
Do you even lift, bro?
The one thing I really hate is the 25 aquatic kills.
That’s far too many and underwater combat is not fun.
Salmon :P takes 2 min to kill 25 Salmons… you can easily one shot them.
It is still tedious.
Do you even lift, bro?
The only one I can’t stand is when Guardians set people on fire.
That blue/yellow light obscures any action the target is taking, and it burns with the light of a thousand suns!
Do you even lift, bro?
You defend it yet you didn’t even know about the big Karka Event raining down Precursors?
L to the OL!
Do you even lift, bro?
The skill has been resting in my 7 slot ever since I first got it way back at launch.
Do you even lift, bro?
you can transmute directly from the bank tab, can’t you?
Can’t transmute soulbound items belonging to another character.
Do you even lift, bro?

Do you even lift, bro?
you cant even have items that are soulbound to one character in another character’s inventory? what??
You can put soulbound stuff in the bank.
Do you even lift, bro?
It would be sorta silly, since in the end all characters are Commander X.
Do you even lift, bro?
Four. I have three already.
I quite simply don’t have the desire to do map completion a 3rd time.
Unless of course they come out with new legendaries…
3 legendaries already? I can’t even grasp how you guys managed to make so many!
They’re good at TP manipulation, or lucked out in the big Karka Lottery.
Do you even lift, bro?
Because you’re fervently defending a broken system. Unless you’re sitting on a Legendary, it makes no sense for you to do so.
And you still miss my point: Legendaries are already everywhere. The Karka Event rained Precursors left and right. All this stupid and obvious price manipulation does is make sure that people who didn’t luck out in the big Karka Lottery will probably never get their hand on a Legendary, despite putting in all the effort to get everything else for their Legendary!
Do you even lift, bro?
The Superior Runes.
Do you even lift, bro?
I guess all in all, this is the final straw.
Time to disband the European Union!
Do you even lift, bro?
Any Charr/Norn.
Norns are too tall which gives you severe camera issues, Charr are too… awkward. Its is difficult telling where exactly they’re gonna land because they pull their feet behind them mid-jump.
Do you even lift, bro?
Gandalf’s sword, Foecleaver, and most likely his staff are definitely Legendaries.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah that doesn’t hold water. Legendaries are already everywhere; Anet dropped the ball with the Karka Event. They’re common as dirt. There are currently two groups of players:
1) Those who got their Legendary around the time of the Karka Event.
2) Those who now will never get them due to Precursors being manipulated to high heavens.
As I said, the ball has been dropped. I see no reason to discriminate against the second group by keeping Precursors as they are.
I have a sneaking suspicion that many of the defenders of the current situation are secretly sitting on Legendarily they got when they were super easy to get, and now don’t want anyone else to have them…
