You realize that DPS stands for damage per second, right? /Axe has terrible damage per second. It doesn’t matter if you can hit more mobs for higher total damage when it takes an entire duration of /Axe’s 5 to do it. Low DPS is low.
/Axe is pretty flashy and all, but there are better off-hand solutions.

They need to not only split gear but also the way Skills work and their stats. PvP vs PvE/WvW.
I disagree with PvE and WvW being bunched together. It is also PvP after all.
Do you even lift, bro?
Probably.
Just writing that which I believe is Anet’s reasoning behind it.
Do you even lift, bro?
And no, it’s not only a issue in cof1, it’s a issue in every single dungeon of the game.
I’ve never seen anyone decline another player based on class for anything but CoF1, really.
Do you even lift, bro?
Relatively easy, yes. But not as quick. And lets be frank, the tokens are not the reason why people run CoF1. Its for the completion silver.
Do you even lift, bro?
But if they make it more realistic, how will they defend Warriors/Guardians in full platemail having neutral buoyancy?
Do you even lift, bro?
Doing Ascalonian Catacombs is a good way to get you started. You can do it as early as lvl 35 and start gathering up tokens for when you hit Lv80.
Do you even lift, bro?
I’d like to see you find another dungeon/path that is as lucrative as CoF1.
There isn’t one.
TP is the name of the game.
Do you even lift, bro?
Because your Fractal gear progress obviously isn’t?

You can’t nerf Warriors. We’d be even more useless in WvW/sPvP than we already are.
this is also a very good point, they need to buff the rest not nerf the warrior.
Alternatively they could make dungeons a bit tougher. So that you’ll get punished if you bring only glass cannon ’zerker Warriors because honestly, if they fixed CoF Path 1, would people still complain about Warriors?
I doubt it. It is the worst offender in changing the mentality of players.
Do you even lift, bro?
You can’t nerf Warriors. Our dad owns a dealership. Also, we’d be even more useless in WvW/sPvP than we already are.

Warriors do need a nerf
You’re wrong. Warriors do not need a nerf due to how terrible we are at PvP. CoF1 farming is what needs to be fixed, not Warriors.
Do you even lift, bro?
Agreed. Stating that Axe/Axe has higher DPS than Greatsword gives more credit to /Axe than it deserves.
/Axe is pretty crap. It is all about Axe/.

The HORROR!
Do you even lift, bro?
So how come no one loves to talk about the price of precursors like Storm or Venom?
Oh right, because those precursors are cheap because the market does not want them.
Yet the market loves and wants Dusk, which is justly reflected in it’s price.
All the people complaining about the expensive precursor prices are simply folks who don’t want to pay market price when there are people out there willing to do so. 30 in the last 72 hours, in fact.
Actually, I’ve been following Howl for quite a bit. It too has suffered the fate of being bought up and reposted at a higher price. It was 70g a few weeks ago(35g for about a month ago), now it is nearing 100g despite Howler not rising in popularity.
Do you even lift, bro?
Its friggin Mjölner.
If it wasn’t so friggin’ hard to get, moreso than Juggernaut, I’d get one.
For sure.
Do you even lift, bro?
Any official reply to this would shock the precursor market. All I can say is we’re watching.
You need to do more than watch here, Mr. Smith.
You need to intervene.
Why? To make an “Easy Mode” button?
Because making Precursors obtainable totally makes crafting a Legendary “easy mode”.
Right…?
Oh wait…
Do you even lift, bro?
different professions swing it differently, i play ranger, it looks fine
Really? REALLY? Male Norn ranger using auto-attack looks hilariously bad. Its like a fish flopping around out of water!
Do you even lift, bro?
Hammers is more of a PvP weapon.
Defiant stacks ruin it for me. There are only rare instances when you would ever need CC in dungeons, like knocking a Graveling Scavenger out of “knockdown mode”.
Do you even lift, bro?
Sword makes for a horrible main weapon. I does, however, make for an awesome backup weapon. Sword+Warhorn is an amazing alternative weapon set, with perhaps a Greatsword or Hammer as your main weapon.
Savage Leap and the Burst are amazing for their utility.
Do you even lift, bro?
I still find the Greatsword to be superior to Axe due to Whirlwind Attack. So much mobility with that thing, plus it counts as a dodge.
Do you even lift, bro?
Someone was actually stupid enough to believe it showed the damage from each of the individual hits?
Wow, I’m impressed by the sheer stupidity.
Do you even lift, bro?
You’ll never do that sort of damage to a critter because Hundred Blades is not one single strong blow.
Do you even lift, bro?
Boys, boys.
It is not about the underwear.
It is about what’s inside of them.
Do you even lift, bro?
Why oh why would you make it only to sell it?
Mjolnir deserves better.
Do you even lift, bro?
Again, yes. But I have no problem with Shields. Without a screenshot showing your problem, I can’t really help.
Do you even lift, bro?
What Warriors need is simple:
1) A way to delay multiple opponents from stomping you. A single target Knockdown is essentially worthless.
2) A waaaay shorter charge-up on Vengeance. Combined with our inability to delay multiple opponents and the enormous charge-up time, you’ll never get Vengeance going.
Do you even lift, bro?
The only banner I like is the green one, because it gives you a unique boost: Crit damage. I don’t think you can find many abilities in the game that gives you that, let alone to your entire party.
Do you even lift, bro?
Here’s an interesting suggestion:
MAKE THE kitten THING NOT MISS ITS TARGET IF YOU OR IT MOVE AROUND

Legendary only for a select few? No that is a misconception. Everyone should be able to get one, but the epic effort involved would turn most people off. That was the idea.
Which it didn’t, apparently.
Do you even lift, bro?
I don’t think there are any.
I went through the same problem when I wanted an Engi backpack on my lvl 80 Engi.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah I told you so.
Didn’t I?
But everyone was like “NooooOOooo. Oglaf you’re stupid. There is nobody buying them all and reposting them at higher prices. Are you insane?”.

The majority of the player base have no sympathy for the extent of your resources / time and energy.
Once they start combining pebbles for an obscure shot at getting a Silver Doubloon they will! They’ll see! You’ll all see! You thought Mystic Clovers en mass was bad….!
(maniacal cackle)
Do you even lift, bro?
Please remove this “feature”. When you craft something, and you still have the ingredients used in your inventory, you should NOT have to painstakingly reselect all four ingredients again. They should stay selected so that you can just hit “Forge” over and over for as long as you’d like.
I’m crafting items at a rate of 200 per go. You can imagine how annoying it gets in the long run…

Since cultural armor is bought with gold it is technically already on the gem store. Buy gems, convert them to gold, buy the skins.
Unless I’m misunderstanding something about your post.
Its sooo expensive, I just want the skin in the gem store for 500 gems. Ill even pay 100 gems
Its expensive for a reason. If they made them 500 Gems, what would be the point in still selling them for gold? If they make them available in Gems, the cost would have to be the same.
Do you even lift, bro?
1. Anet in’t making very much off Tier 3 armor through buying gold.
2. Only rich dungeon raiders can afford Tier 3 armor.
3. Rich players don’t buy anything with real money. They may even cost Anet money!Cultural armor could be the next big gem store item. If Anet lowers the price to 20 gold a set.
It has to be 119g worth in Gems, naturally.
Do you even lift, bro?
Ele (They can dodge around with them two daggers all they want, but their damage is lower and their support is not the best either.)
With a Staff, Elementalists are awesome though.
Do you even lift, bro?
Imagine how many gems it would cost, since it costs 119 Gold for a full set of T3.

As a Warrior, I always get a jolt out of partying up with a Guardian.
You know you’re going to have a good time then.

You do realize the complexity involved in Quaggan speech patterns right?
“George is getting VERY angry!”
“Quaggans are unfailingly polite, so much so that they consider most self-reference to be offensive and self-centered. As a result, they rarely use the pronouns “me,” “my,” or “I,” instead preferring to use the general term “quaggan.” As a result, conversations with quaggans may frustrate more direct races. The phrase “I’ve lost my pet fish. I’m sad” becomes “Quaggan has lost quaggan’s pet fish. Quaggan is sad.” This manner of speech leads many to assume the quaggans are childlike or less intelligent. The quaggans are actually quite wise, but in ways that are different from most other races.”

No, not the ugly skin dropped skin, but the Cultist Hammer

The problem with nerfing/buffing Warriors in general is thus:
We’re great at PvE, sure, but we’re horrible in PvP.
Nerf us for our PvE performance and we become even worse at PvP.
Buff us because of our horrible PvP performance and we became even better at PvE.
Do you even lift, bro?
Yeah whatever buddy. All I’m saying is keep watch on the less popular Precursors. They are not getting any more popular (demanding rising), but they keep rising and rising in price.
Why, one wonders. Why does this happen only when someone buys out the stock? The demand and supply remain roughly the same, yet the price skyrockets. Hmm.
Do you even lift, bro?
(edited by Oglaf.1074)
The people willing to pay the price do not use them to craft Legendaries
The same quantity they bought get re-listed for more Gold instead. I’ve been watching Howl for a while (The Howler). It was 35G not long ago. Then someone bought up the stock. Now it’s 75G+, nearing 80G.
