i want a pet Gryphon
im kind of envious to Ogres found in some maps, because on of their pets is a gryphon
using real life plant color scheme or inspiration
challenge and mechanics:
attach BOTH the plant picture and your Final Sylvari inspired color scheme
(im tired of using too much dark shades)

i agree with the poster that:
Scaling your stats to your pet is Devastating.
that’s why secondary stats scaling is one of the best way to go to boost some of your pets potential,
eg. my jaguar’s bleed is just = 34 bleeds in 3 sec.
but if you are attuned to condition damage (1500) + condition duration (85% duration)
the resulting product will be higher
the new jaguar’s bleed = 115 bleed in 4+ secs
or if you are attuned to crit damage = you will help your pet to do more damage on top of the major trait +30% in the skirmishing tree,
(but to make it not overpowered only half of the crit damage of the ranger will be shared to your pet, eg the rangers crit damage is 90%, you will only share 45% crit damage + 30% trait of the pet in the skirmishing tree = 75 % crit daamge for the jaguar pet)

i want to see my Sylvari Hounds Healing Howl to scale with my healing stats

eg. condition damage, critical damage, AR, boon duration etc
can be shared to our pets

i thought that they were also adding ascended backpacks to laurel vendors,

i would like to have a tag system like any battle type console games heehheh

as far as i observed regarding underwater battles, all professions have decreased damage output, making the #3 downed underwater outheal all the damages taken.
eg, the thiefs auto attack on land = 2k per hit, thief auto attack on water using long range = 400+bleed, thief auto attack on water using spear is 600
pet #3 on land 1200 per heal, pet #3 on water is still 1200
im a little confused about this trait..
when will the pet gain health,,

Well, maybe Massively’s MMO of the year was a critics choice.
Biggest disappointment was probably player influenced.Sort of how Oscars are sometimes given to artsy movies that did “meh” in box offices as opposed to the movies that consumers actually liked.
If im correct, then the latter actually justifies the former. The more popular the game, the more players it has. The more players it has the more noise people with an agenda will make because they would rather see the game burn than be something other than what they want. Im sure massively GW2 articles and forums are full of misguided comments raging about ascended gear and botched content releases that they got for free.
Secret World didn’t have that kind of noise, because it didn’t have that big of a player base, because it wasn’t that good of a game. Thus not a nominee or winner in either category.
i agree, the playerbase of GW2 is so big, that it has a 2 distinctive community, a double edge sword,
the one who likes it as it is, and the one who wants more improvement,
the one who want more improvement tends to be negative in a sense that they want this game to be perfect, (of course perfect seems better, but in the end they will not be satisfied whatever the updates will come)
knowing that GW2 has a large playerbase (just to have that 2 opposing award to be won), we can safely assume that GW2 population is so large befitting two opposing titles.

Sword is actually one of the Ranger’s best weapons. The root itself is not so bad since it’ll “chase” the target. The problem is we’re unable to dodge during the attack.
Sword is supposed to be our “dodgy” weapon, but it cannot reliably cancel the autoattack to dodge.
That is something I’d like to see fixed instead of root.
i agree, just enable us to use dodge during auto attack, and we will be fine,
i love the sword also, i dont mind the root in place, but at least can they make it possible that we can use dodge easily hehehhe

yeah daggers are not that good in my opinion, but i want to use sword warhorn
since a lot of changes will happen to rangers, like melee pets hitting moving objects/enemies, SotH will be 25% speed, projectile speed of long bow increased

but my point is that they will have max speed just by using signet + dagger traits = 33% movespeed.
i think they are buffing the other classes too much?
i already imagine the horror of uncatchable elementalis at necros, with their 25% signet + dagger training
elementalist + 10% dagger swiftness trait + 25 signet of air speed = perma swiftness =they will reach the cap effortless without the use of swiftness itself,
same status for necro who are using dagger training = perma 33% swiftness without swiftness buff
i think it is totally bad for all signet that gives speed to be on par with thieves signet speed.
i agree that rangers need it,
but for elementalist to have it? soon elementalist will be the new uber mobility profession in game
and i thought that 25% speed passive signet is exclusive to thieves due to the nature of its class

as far as i know, they cannot fix this issue yet, since if they “FIX” obstructed bug, a new bug will arise,
all arrows/projectiles will pass through any wall, like any other MMO’s
it seems like more and more elementalist are getting good at handling their class,
my condition spec thief is left hanging and struggling against good elems,
should I revert back to s/d or d/d spec burst thief?
