The real issue is that Immobilize is a CC that is treated like a condition etc. Stacking should not exist in any MMO. CC chaining is something that should utilize player skill not target mark spamming.

Wxp should primarily go to the character you farmed it on. Professions each play differently, if you want to benefit one you should need to level it the same way you level regular xp. Given how easy it is to get wxp I don’t even understand the point of these arguments, it’s like people won’t be happy until GW2 finally becomes so casual that it fully transitions to an amusement park.

A 450 stat advantage (5 stacks of 50 vitality, 5 of 20 each of power and condition damage) over new players or characters is just insane. That’s not much less than the stats provided by an entire set of exotic armor!

Fighting someone who has those stacks in a small group or 1v1 on a fresh alt that lacks them is so one sided it’s just demoralizing. It’s practically just a free win for having more playtime and punishment for trying to use an alt.

You could literally halve those numbers and it would still be a pretty crazy advantage. It really needs to me something much more like 20 vitality and 10 each power and condition damage per stack, and start earlier in the tree with say max 1 stack at skill level 3, 2 stacks at 5, 3 stacks at 8, 4 stacks at 9 and 5 stacks at 10 so the bonus isn’t just one lump of win right at the end with little progression for partial progression.

You have exaggerated this so greatly that your point can not be taken seriously. “it’s practically a free win”. Spend more time in game working on your skills and less time on forums.

They have it in Spvp.
You play and gain glory and its character wide.
You decide you want a change and try another class and you have access to the same level of glory on that toon as well.

I enjoy playing a different class every now and then i get brunt out and want to try something different in WvW. but its a pain in the butt to be useless with no wvw skills on my new level 80 character that just stepped in WvW compared to someone who has the guard buffs and defence against siege. >.>

Also most ppl have enough points to unlock most of the skills so even if the points you invest in one character is carried over i dont see the problem with make the increase damage to gaurds on all characters because you already unlocked it

Poor analogy SPvP and WvW are very separate gametypes. Wxp should never be account bound, though I do feel that the rank you display should be.

I think this is a good case of an ANet employee lying and not confronting the community about it. Not a single NSP user has reported seeing Devon. One person told me he was on SBI, but I cannot confirm that rumour either.

Devon plays in WvW, though a lot of devs are on SBI he is not. I know this because occasionally I am in his party in WvW on NSP. This has happened in Silver League.

Not nerfing the bags, but nerfing their location. champion should spawn randomly and there should be a limit of people killing them. Why so?

1. Too much reward for something that can’t fail. It’s just impossible to fail this, it’s like standing in LA and getting free gold. You can go there gearless at level 1 and nothing will happen to you because there like 50 other people killing the same thing.

2. It’s bad for new players, exemple: he starts at queensdale, gets to level 80 and even at max level he still don’t know how to use his class. Same thing for wvw by the way : if people zerg all day long , they have no idea how to win 1v1 fights, I’ve seen some pathetic things on youtube, people are winning 7v1 in wvw because alot of them simply never learn how to PvP, they just blob up and spam 111.

3. What’s the point of those dynamic events and other zones like Orr ? If people can just stand in the same place and kill the same mobs over and over again? What’s the points of living story then?

4. The economy, people complain about precursors being 800g. If somebody stops playing for a week he is too far behind because people r making hunder of golds per day with this.

So yea, I think the champions should scale with the number of people. Exemple if it’s more than 10, then it could become harder by adding those ‘elite mobs’ . This would make open world harder if there 15 people , they will have to fight 10 elite mobs and 1 champion. Or they could simply spawn randomly on the map to avoid the whole zerg train farming them.

The achivement is probably the biggest ever grind compared to any other living world/dungeon achivements.

So is there a chance there`ll be something worthy? Or it`ll be finishers and some greens again? Though the title alone makes it worth.

WvW achievments are the least grindy of them all. They are things you do during normal play in WvW, assuming you actually play WvW and arent just in there to get acheivements.

Defending competently is also an option.

What if there were alliances?

What if there were an actual guild system?

What if commander tools existed?

What if a child aspired to something greater than what society planned for him?

It’s not fun getting obliterated in WvW, and it seems like no matter what I do, where I go, sooner or later I end up getting steamrolled by groups with perma 25 might stacks, stability, protection, vigor…well you get the idea. It seems like the blob with the best boon stacking wins the fight. I’m not sure if this is promoting organized play, or simply the stacking of boon sharing classes? To be honest, I don’t even fully understand how so many people are getting so many boons.

But rather than nerf boons, could we maybe have a counter? It seems easier to get boons than it is to remove them from your opponent. I know necros and mesmers have AE boon strippers, but they are pulse based and the enemy simply runs across the pulse ignoring all but 1 or 2 ticks. And even then, they just reapply whatever boon they lost.

Could we change the mesmer null field skill to strip a bunch of boons all at once instead of over 5 seconds?

Your angry that organized groups kill you in WvW? Thats all I got from this post.

100% agree that some respawn time limit should be implemented. 10 minutes max imo.

They don’t drop a lot to begin with so i’m not sure how you would notice a nerf versus just simply being unlucky.

For newbies and for people that need karma for legendaries it’s become a pain to gain karma.
Can you tell me why you nerfed it this bad?

I have a specific way of playing this game, I run dungeons and sometimes some world events. So for me there is not much karma to gain. Why you nerfed karma in dungeons? Now I am forced to play other things like events. But why say play the game where you want how you want?? That is off the table as I am forced to leave or play less my dungeons!

I had a long conversation with the helpdesk and they directed me to this forum.

I doubt ANET will read it but I post it anyway as this is the first major thing that bothers me and I start to dislike the game!

After 1500 hours I like a legendary weapon. And yes I play on my own pace this game!

It would suprise me if something will change!

I understand where many of you are coming from with these threads on how to change the queues, but they need to stop. Almost every thread with an idea wouldn’t work and Anet wouldn’t support it.

A queue should simply act like a queue and thats it.

I agree. Because everybody contributes equally to WvW.
