How do we chose quieter worlds?

Right now, there is no point or purpose AT ALL for having a home world, except for WvWvW. And that could be handled a much better way (guild alliances).
no point? ppl had great server communities. we knew which guild is which so we knew how they work, who to avoid. /m chat was useful for any info, now is just spam with “smart” comments and word battles among english speaking players and none english. chat is full of hate most of the time. A LOT gold seller spammers everywhere. trying to make a farm party fails to the point u don’t give a kitten anymore… and so on.
no reward chest ether, gandara server.
Eotm atm is just a karma and xp train farming ground, nothing else. zergs are avoiding other zergs so they can farm in peace. it is a wvw map with the lowest number of the 80 lvl players. its a nature of mixing servers aka megaserver where organization fails.
since boss trains in pve were nerfed, many of those farmers turned to Eotm. and so on…
with megaserver they already nerfed mob farm, almost killed boss trains (still killing wherever they can find such train), respawn times of major bosses etc… its all about nerfing the “gold” drop
all melee minions have the same issue with not attacking.
well aoe loot bind works ok for me. picking up multiple drops around me with 1 keystroke.
Since megaserver was introduced farming t6 materials is almost imposible and big time consumer. Every farm spot is crowded with ppl and 1 or 2 engineers camping with turets (most annoying thing ever). Best example is spark spot on malchor map. I’m wondering if the drop rate of sparks through whole map/world is the same which i doubt cos i don’t get almost any drop at sparks at lyssa or under dwayna as much as I can get at doric’s wp. At doric’s wp u get from all 3 vets 100% drop doesn’t matter what as long as it is a drop, while at lyssa vets rarely drop any. ofc u hardly get any drop from sparks too.
OK so i said scrue charge lodestones/dust and future mjolnir craft and left to farm other t6 mats i need for legendary. As i mentioned before it was the same all over the world. Everywhere ppl are camping as bots. YES i tried to orginize farm with inviting to party and make a run as we were doing before, which worked perfectly and everyone was satisfied, but noooo none is caring for anything or even they don’t understand what i’m saying on chat.
before u could get 5-10 t6 drops in 1-2h, now, u r lucky if you get 1-3 t6 drops in 1-2h if u r fast enough to get that lucky hit.
temples hmmmm i realy don’t remember when i made last temple, cos every time i log i see everything done. why is that so? cos u have so many ppl on the map that any even’t which would start temple pre-event is getting rushed by many.

u have two heavy counters as war/ele for condition necro … so no is not op
yeah it happens with lich form and in DS. in pvp is pain sometimes to hit enemy even when they stud in place (reviving, downed etc). i don’t get any feedback not a miss not a hit. lost many times just due this crap when i was hiting ppl at 10% hp, is just a nightmare.
imo it should be in bug section.
it doesn’t matter if necro sux or is OP as class, it will always be nerfed with any patch
its only good for lvling (tho in EotM is way faster) and doing events. BUT what when u get to lvl80? karma is not an issue. u need to start making gold and collecting mats for crafts. what then? where will you go when u’ll need specific mats? any 80lvl map is crowded with players. most of them not knowing why are they farming for. What will you do when u’ll have to do specific events, lets say for traits, since its made in matter of min’s it started and u can’t afford to camp it? what then? any answers?
if i wanna do some world boss “temples” I need to stay and camp there, can be hours (scrue that!) till event starts. ofc finaly events starts everything become lag fest.
its legit… have it at any mmo game with hard content for ppl who don’t care for pve.
- maps are way to small for that kind of zerg. u can see someone at every mob on the map. it inspires u to camp on spot which will soon lead to boting.
- farming materials is no ending event. since u can get 1-3 t6 per hour if u r lucky to hit mobs in time
- to many random ppl who don’t care for anything but for their benefits
- chat is horible
- making events for traits is just big pain and time consuming since u need to camp for hours, for the event to start, cos ofc u will miss it since there are big trains 24/day
- pve is worst then ever. never have experienced such crapy farm at any mmo i played. even with open pvp maps bassed games having wars with entire server i could gather way more with killing mobs as i can gather now in gw2.
- at the end game have become time consuming game. u have independed modes pve, pvp and wvw. if u wanna do them all it will take half of the day just to get smth out of them.
and so on…
or maybe make a choice on the world map to select server map or megaserver map. In that way larger guilds, groups, individuals etc… would have their own playgrounds. Main cities or at least future “lions arch” should be server sided.
rofl 1 t6 material per day cos of xxx farmers… this will take few years to craft legendary weapons. and prices for materials are getting bigger and bigger every day. GG!
DS can be used as major ally heal, dps, aoe dps, applying burn for condition builds, terror builds etc. it has alot of combos and usable futures
at least those “random” farmers could move/guest on other server and do what they do in piece. And now? Here is my wife all angry cos she can’t play content she like without being called noob, go away scrub etc. and thinking about quiting the game.
I always use DS at aoe. Drop wells, pop DS.
AOE in DS > any AOE u can use on necro, if mobs are not grouped close enough for wells. Pop DS , hit 5 (big burst at the end) and hit 4, mobs are dead. Ofc use highest dmg weapon u have. Traits in soul reaping are more then welcome – vital persistence, unyielding blast and deathly perception is what u need for pve (solo).
trying to farm materials since megaserver went alive, is like wanting to kill everyone around me. Killing 2 mobs out of 20 or more every spawn is just dumb. Before, when some area was crowded, I went into guesting for another server with less players, which today is mission impossible.
Wanting to buy obsidian shards at balthazar. Not gonna happen, even when port from my server is not contested.
Reading in /m /s languages i don’t understand is not helping me to know whats going on on the map.

No axe traited does not more dmg (DS1) then staff. That´s the point. Believe it or not.

havent tested it myself, i recall an old thread where it was tested and staff won. Is the difference high at your tests?
it was 100-200 deference. not much but still its there. tested on vet spark no interupts, no conditions. clean hits. ofc at 100% crit chance.
fear will be interupt skill. as i recall. so no nerf for fear. but yes dhuumfire will be moved to DS 1. which will be “nerf” for almost all condition build.
staff is better than axe+trait
not… tested it with full asc berserker 30/10/0/0/30 and traited axe is higher dmg then staff, ofc both in DS….

30/10/0/0/30, 20/20/0/0/30, 20/10/10/0/30, 10/20/10/0/30 are all viable for dps builds. some offer more survavibilty or blind/chill or both.
why would i spend hours of camping at portals or w/e for some needed class in party just to do some crappy PvE content? why should i be good just at 1 thing in the game heal or support or dps or tank? why would i get less by playing healer/tank/support then the one playing dps? etc…
so no I don’t miss it at all.
here is mine for fun runs with random zergs. Lots of heal and solid power. Chill on blindness. Why not condition build? cos condition in zerg is almost useless due to many counters to conditions.

That is why u set sieges on walls and behind doors. The only problem is none is smart or is lazy to run for supplies or don’t give a quack for helping at siege build… there is always only 1 or 2 players building sieges. That is the only problem why you can’t defend tower/keep in smaller group.
In open fields seeing 7 guild ppl pushing to home spawn 20 ppl makes u wonder. Even fighting blob with max 30 ppl is doable.
Raising the cap of AOE targets wont give u any skill fights and it will unbalance the fights vs skilled groups. And yes u’ll have zergs, more aoe more drops yo!. Again same will happen on field without AOE, which in this case u’ll lose mele players and more then 90% of players will be ranged. Combine those two and u’ll get mostly necro and eles playing wvw.
In blobs any class can run with. In guilds/organized play same as in any other MMO there will always be some class left out.
We already experienced AOE with more then 5 targets. Was not pretty. This system as it is now is giving chance for smaller group to defeat larger group of players.
Target play is all about how many dmg dealers u have, so more you are faster will enemy go down. So in the end winner is decided with numbers in ur group, which bring us to ZERG.
Try to join some wvw guild and experience from the first hand how actually wvw mechanic work or can work. U’ll be surprised
No AOE environment is for holly trinity games, cos you can outheal the dmg focused target have. U’ll mostly see ranged fights with daggers running among them. Face it when mele is starting to charge he’ll be dead in matter of seconds, cos he’ll get all the ranged dmg. For that u need tanks.
classic trinity setup is allways smth like this:
7 ppl in party ( lineage 2 game)
Healer
Recharger
sword singer (def buffs)
blade dancer (off buffs)
buffer
2x nukers/archers (which can’t do nothing without those 5 supporters)
so basically u have 2 main dmg dealers in whole party focusing on 1 target being healed. Ofc u don’t have any block and no dodge, but u have evasion stat. In GW2 u have party of 5 who can make huge dmg so that 1 target with no imba heals will be insta dead.
Forget the condition build in wvw group fights. Why? well many are running with -65% condition duration and alot of mass/self condition removing skills/abilities.
role necro… find guild who don’t care what class u r, as long u don’t suck at it and u’ll do any content with party in GW2. And yes necros are most wanted class in wvw guild runs
hope u get those results by not using duumbfire, cos it will be moved to DS1 skill
