To the thief with the [GOLD] guild tag, nice hacks unlimited initiative was quite tough to fight against but it was like a fun boss xD i can see why youre using hacks though you must have such a tough time fighting normally, next time with your close to perma evades stay away from a shatter mesmer

if im levelling at night time ill guest to another server, it has the exact same functionality but you wont get the buffs from your WvW home server and you wont be able to join on that server’s World in wvw

nope theyre not power based, and i think the wiki is wrong, not only that though but with three clones and me applying bleeds right next to the enemy taking advantage of the bounces can keep 18 bleeds on the enemy, i have about 30condamage through the bloodlust buff and do damage of about 700 per tick, HOW on gods earth is that not overpowered?? i dont understand what youre getting at?

I’m talking to those who adore the spear in this thread. Trident is ok with condition damage since condition damage in sux in general. Even a full condition build will not deal more damage with the bonus damage for bleeding than a zerker with the “weak” auto attack. This is what I want to say.

The trident is an incredibly strong condi weapon being able to stack so many bleeds is insane, even if you dont spec for condition damage in gear it still is very high, so when you were your rabid gear the trident becomes one of the best condi weapons on the game second to warrior swords and grenades.

It’s horrible yes. Some skills need more condition damage underwater. You just can count on your illusions right now (bleed / confusion) and shatter F2.

Also Trident 5 is bugged – deals just one tic damage and not what it should… Since – release T_T

okay maybe not 25 its been nerfed a bit but im getting a permanent 18 bleeds with 3 clones up i proc for 10% bleed duration on my trident as im not a dummy aswell :P that gives me a dmg of 700 per tic, thats very high for a zerk build,so my point is, is that this guy complaining that (1) underwater conditions are lacking is wrong and (2) not only is he wrong is that he is incredibly wrong due to being able to do good condi dmg without any condi gear lol

let me add that veil and timewarp, (veil i switch to) are skills that need to be placed instantly so it gives a huge advantage for the commander to be a mesmer, using chat to give orders when to pop them takes too much time and can be the difference between a wipe and a win

indeed, i remember when i had started gw2 and i was laughing at the clones of psy running with him, but it was when a joined there vent that i realised how awesome WvW could be with an organised guild, friendly mature and all enjoying the game, TSOC at the moment is currently in shambles with a lot of conflict between the god kitten over inflated living story (please dont get me started on that) and playing wvw and i believe TSOC is very close to collapsing :C

but no youre wrong about iZerk not doing any damage, ive now removed phantasms do 15 extra damage and fury for phantasms to go 20 more into chaos giving extra toughness and boon duration, shorter cooldown on manipulation making arcane theivery more viable,

Now to explain the i zerker, youre wrong even untraited this skill still applies way more damage to a zerg than chaos storm chaos storm is capped at 5 enemies wheres as the zerk can (while still capped at 5) moves through the zerg with 4 hits hitting on average 10 players, 10 cripples and lots of damage, its part of an aoe burst, chaos storm is good but its incredibly long cooldown with the other skills being lacklust, makes the staff a terrible weapon in my opinion, i have no problem surviving with leap so i dont need phase retreat.

well no and yes, illusionary wave is a good situational skill but i dont really use the other skills unless part of the initial burst, and the autoattack is terrible.

Every mesmer in the game that goes anywhere near a guild raid is being taken purely for its support. Veil, Null Field and Time Warp along with Focus pulls are incredibly powerful skills and pigeon hole almost all Mesmers in a sensible sized guild raid into running Sw/Focus + X with Veil, Null Field and Time Warp as 3/4 utility spots. In a standard set up only Guardians running 2 shouts, a consecration and Tome of Courage are running fewer “selfish” skills and a lot of Mesmers will probably run Feedback in that final utility slot anyway, averaging 3.5/4 support skills on a usual bar for organised large scale play can’t really be deemed selfish.

i dont use veil and i have a stealth mesmer in my team who has it so it would be pointless for me to use considering id dont have its cool down reduced or enough points in chaos, but heres my build

i agree with dawdler but butter, the staff is too lackluster, being at the front of the group i need to make sure that i put out impressive burst on the initial hit, a chaos storm while scaring the enemy wont stop and zerg from advance, however when the izerk used just after warden with feedback and GS #2 and #3 and shatter (mind wrack) i pull off some very impressive aoe, in fact the best a mesmer can do, its aoe damage i need not a staff,

tbh this is a thread in its own right but the staff i see is just a lazy way of surviving, its not needed, i understand that its got the phase retreat but im not traiting into chaos and if you use illusionary leap right it wont be needed

orrrrrrr, a reflection mesmer, i easily in the first aoe burst on my mesmer hit about 60k damage, and after that you can smack down TW for your team, insta win, i dont see people using this :C makes me sad

wrong, theres the point in clifside and then there is the gate in urban, two mesmers with TW and mantra heal makes it so much easier for pug groups

very good for fractals when you need to tank i guess, however some bosses in arah are really easy with two mesmers rotating mantra heals while you have 3 dps

i recently posted a build for my mesmer who is my main, while i got a lot of criticism for being to squishy, most people came to the conclusion that it was okay due to being on t9 WvW, ive recently changed my trinkets from zerk to knights and pushed more into reflection for large AoE damage in zergs, is there any improvements i can make with this build, im aware that GS may be able to be replaced but the aoe from izerk is invaluable to me for an aoe burst

Hear that RedCobra i don’t mind seeing more then one tag up at any time. Hell i know that sometimes i only want a Single tag up if there is barely anyone on map (out-manned). Only other reason i want a single tag up is when i need/want everyone on map in one place to take x objective (think a fully upgraded Keep).

Mind i know most people as you said are conditioned into thinking 1tag is all you need because the zerg mentality. I will admit it makes it easier to organize the fair weathers/new players but /shrug.

youre completely right, thats the problem and the main reason for the conflict, we normally do it for our guild because we have to have multiple parties simple sollution for this is a guild tag, its green instead, sorted, to solved the issue of people complain that they have wasted 100g make it the same item just with thte option to switch colours

Commanders already double tag up to complete different objectives with different groups of people at the same time. It would probably be rare on low pop servers or even silver/bronze league but it’s not uncommon on high pop ones or gold league.

Me and my Co-leader actually do this quite often and its an extremely effective tactic, even if you only have about 20+ numbers, its good to seperate to accomodate for camps to get supply, for example taking two camps and meeting back up. however being on a low pop server alot of people normally spam, wow two commanders in one space -_- people have been conditioned into thinking that 1 commander is best, ITS NOT.

a lot of speculation went into this, it would definitly make up the 3rd heavy armour role, and would give the evil, neutral and good slots completion,
medium = ranger good, engineer neutral, thief evil, light amour = elementalist good, mesmer neutral and necro evil, then for heavy = guardian good, warrior neutral and then shadow knight evil.

Please sort this out Asap my entire guild is rolling in the achievements and im just sat here, not getting them thanks anet for rewarding your loyal customers

other than that, ive started adding [TSOC] and [GW2] into the titles, would it be a good idea to put on the title that we are a Fissure of Woe guild or should i have that in the description?
