i dont mind the change much but at least Add a trait reset npc to the dungeon. as some dungeons become contested ocasionaly forcing you to wp somewhere far away until the event loads and is hopefully cleared or you walk your way back somehow.
increase their condition duration they are meant to be used focused on condition damage but this is crippled when its bleeds last 2 seconds poison 3-5 seconds IF you don’t miss a single poison shots wich is near impossible and the blowtorch skill lasts 1-2 seconds unless used at Melee range .
Yak needs more night time player we lost this week cuz everytime we go sleep bam map is taken until about 1-2 PM next day . now im seeing what a mistake it was changing server from CD lol.
lol, how did you not know this? We Benders have been honest and forthcoming about our lack of a night presence in every thread since forever.

must ve confused engineer with thief, However engineers cant contribute other than by killing roaming players as our Only ranged AoE is the grenades wich have terribly small radius compared to others’s ranged attacks when attempting to capture keeps or what not.
I love when poster falsely claim the engineer cannot do things that the rest of the community does on their engineers every day.
im not saying we cant but you cant compare grenades to the massive radius Eles and Rangers have nor the Mesmer clones you can simply warp into walls .
@ rezzet. Try a tankcat variant. You’d be surprised how viable an engy can be in wvwvw.
Usually takes around 8-10 people to kill me( that too if im distracted). I just keep trolling zergs. And they get mad that i aint dying easy so they chase me. I usually lead them into a friendly zerg or one that belongs to the 3rd server. Its ridiculous fun
thats not what i mean my elixir build is great it usually requires 8+ players to down me
( i usually down them with patience lol) my only issue is when we go capture keeps and towers i cant contribute much as grenades are my only viable option and its not much since it has small radius .
try fighting mesmers with cloaking device and you ll see how priceless it is when neither him or his clones can target you most heavy hitting attacks require a target but hey it all comes down to your build maybe you can spend up the extra 10 points in something else.

last i checked elite supplies wasnt working for mortar however Rifled Barrels the grandmaster trait increases 15% damage and brings its range to 1400 i think .
i suggest you got for might stacking if you are doing wvw as your target will often remove conditions dont forget Burn does damage equivalent to 6 stacks of bleed .
needs bigger AoE as for speed needs a 50% passive run speed on adept trait like other classes
well my build is similiar i use Apothecary gear and changed the alchemy Master Major trait for the one that removes conditions each time an elixir affects me.
(bet someone’s gonna come up with some Punny name and claim it as their own build now)
well i do use the F1-F4 keys often to keep my regens and heals going , however another thing that just occurred to me was what about having the tool kit work as our secondary weapon and change to it any time by hitting the ~ key.
well i was thinking the reason turrets are hardly used is because they take precious utility slots wich disable many options so i think these could be improovements:
Putting turrets in a kit: now how would this help well in several ways for one this way the engineer could strategically place the turrets and have the Tool kit equipped wich would enable him to heal the turrets and still have a free utility slot.
maybe make the Elite Supplies trait decrease Supply Crate’s cooldown by 10-20%? : why you may ask well turrets as they are are Extremely fragile have slow fire rate the supply crate turrets cant use their secondary fire and they have low damage.
or instead:
Give turrets 100-150% extra hp and armor .
turret kit might actually be a good idea . maybe mixing the 30% damage reduct with Regen trait too as they regen each 5-10s for about 10% hp.
it is not lack of toughness for me i have 2.8k armor and still i get cloak and daggers landing on me for 8k crippling strike for 5k backstab still lands around the 11ks well basically the lowest damage hits was 2750. .so yeah dont wanna know how i’d fair with a glass cannon build.
Mesmer or thief are your choices enough said.

- Gadgets placed by players (such as turrets) will now apply boons and conditions based on those players’ stats. Those conditions and boons will not be reduced to level-1 values when the triggering gadget is destroyed.
so how should that work since the only turret wich grants boons is the healing turret .
cant really fight back unless you have 30k you wont last 2 seconds. its as easy as drake venom-steal-backstab-auto attack or heart seeker.
dunno bout you but my auto attacks land for up to 2600 damage. so lets sum up all damage i do : steal=7k crit / backstab= 8-11k crit / auto attack= 1900-2500 crit / heart seek= 5-8k . and thats the raw damage i ve pulled without sigils and what not i usually use the Executioner trait cuz i dont rely purely on backstab 20% damage+15% from sigil sounds nice.
The Engineer’s down skills are design as such to trap enemies if they get too close. Your number 2 skill is suppose to be used in conjunction with your number 3 skill (Which does immense damage and also knocks-down.)
problem is this isnt the case when the number 3’s load time is 3-4 times as long as the number 2 skill.
or a concussion grenade wich caused Confusion would be useful in place of the Flash grenade would be nice . :L
how about Increasing the explosion range for WvW as it stands we got no skills to fight sieges or players placed on the back of walls whereas Eles and archers simply let lose rains of arrows and meteors .

Its not color when they are using builds others posted months ago, then naming it and pretending they just came up with some unique concept.

How many have been fixed ? does scope still do nothing Elite supply not increase mortar range ? etc etc?
i do need confirmation on the scope one as it might be a key component on my new build.
Why does everyone have the need of naming all builds as if they where the ones that came up with em worse part is that everyone is copying the builds and then rename them and the loop goes on.
dunno i got about 15 ectos from about 11 items using the master kit
During my Orr roaming i couldnt help but notice i leveled up about 2-3 times to level 74 the barr fileld did the sparkle thing the hero panel icon blinked with an exclamation mark but i was still on level 74 and got no trait or skill point.
restarted the game and will see if all works fine now lol.
New guild: Turrets Syndrome [NERF] is looking for players.
Have Events broken ? I participated on Hoelbra’s Maw event and got lvl 1 rewards from 2 gold medals on events im lvl 69 and my rewards where 285 Exp 9 karma and 4 coins on both the portal event and killing the champion.

shouldnt be too hard: Magnet pull,weapon switch,Net Shot(unless you have the net turret net shot on toolbelt), swap to grenades and while at it hit the tool belt skill for max damage.
mortar needs 1800-2000 range to feel like an actual long ranged mortar and its not like it would be overpowered since its damage is weaker than grenades and even the rifle except for #5 skill wich has what 30s cooldown.
i kill players in 0.4 of a second as thief for those saying thief is weak you are a bunch of liars with auto attack alone i land 2.6-3k damage needless to say with daggers thats about 3-4 hits per 1.5 second my backstab does up to 8k damage on players with over 3000 armor steal alone does 7k damage itself and traited can even stealth wich links nicely -7k steal+8k backstab instantly the rest is done with auto attacks.
2 decent players that have am idea what they are doing will kill a d/d ele and there are a decent amount of builds that can kill them 1v1

In The Story Quest: Intercepting the Orb after you kill the boss and minion and you are supposed to drag the Orb back to camp if you use a skill while holding the orb it will cause it to disappear completely it wont fall on the ground nor go back where it was it will simply ruin your quest.
lol basically you want each class’s unique skills to be thief’s.
for PVE theres two words for ya: Bombs and Grenades
Bombs have hig AoE damage and if you get a nice group on you drop the #4 skill followed by #3 and watch the mobs destroy themselfs . grenades simply have decent damage traited and stack up conditions.
Shut up trolls if we kill someone fast is overpowered but its ok for thives and others to do it ? what a joke. unless they fix thiefs and others this build shold be untouched same for static discharge.
alrite everyone lets reroll to thief i ll teach ya all how to do 30-50k damage in a blink without letting your opponent even load a single skill because that is perfectly balanced
i ve been keeping my builds and such hidden but we arent given a choice when it comes to wvw its either be the OP guys or be the guys taking it from behind.
the only broken thing is they can be used while on siege golems or when transformed rampager for example doubles power and golem gives an even higher boost wich turns a 2-3k hit into a 6-10k hit. if you dont attack the user then obviously he ll keep spamming them wich keeps them vulnerable as it removes their skills .
heres how they do 8k+ damage make a glass cannon build focuses on power-Get into golem-Golem missile spam= Profit. cuz yea you can use the mini golems while being in siege golem and that is the only thing tht would need fixing as golems double or triple power.
This is laughable… Elementalist has only one playable build and this person wants to nerf it because they aren’t learning their own class right? Seriously? I hate that these are the only posts that seem to be taken seriously be the devs sometimes. Elementalist (along with a few other classes out there… you know who you are) keep getting nerfed when they are already incredibly hard to play well. Those people who play well do so because they are good at it and weren’t spoon fed the entire game with easy classes. Player skill is almost never attributed in cases like these by the accuser.

And rezzet, are you saying that eles are comparable to thief because they have more survivability and the smallest fraction of their damage? That’s ludicrous… I’ve never been 1-2 shotted by an ele… ever…
they can still extremely fast in slightly skilled hands its as if you took a thief’s stealth and backstab and instead gave him a bunch of defense and heals.
i myself have an Ele and a Thief. with my thief my surprise attacks take me only 0.4 of a second to down my target, Ele takes me from 2-6 seconds.
the trinity of the game:
Thief= flashstep 1 vs 1 insta ganker + invisibility+ teleports and 25-50% passive speed without the use of swiftness therefore its vitcims cant really run away to heal or whatever after recieving a 7-12k backstab nor chase them as their normal running speed is that of swiftness.
Elementalist=All around damage dealer and mitigator with all its regens passive heals and cleanses has same speed as thiefs wich basically makes them AoE thiefs.
Mesmer:single or multiple targets destroyer as they stack up to 8 Confusion before you can say WTF + can stealth+teleport as well and spawn clones near endlessly making sure the clones take all the damage.
and this summarizes 80% of the WvW population 5% Warriors and 5% Guardians and the rest is random classes .

precisely the point what everyone else gets even at minor engis get at master or grandmaster Major and dont sacrifice whole builds for it therefore effectively killing our so called “godlike versatility” wich is the grand excuse for our nerfs and sacrifices.

boy engi is the class with most buttons to push is all i can tell ya you have to use F1-4+ your 1-5 keys and the 6-9 to change kits like every 4-10 seconds, ah yes each kit changes your 1-5 keys adding up More buttons to push.
