Yeah, I haven’t noticed much of a difference since Meow left.

I have to say this though: we punch well above our weight as a server. Five man NSP teams stomping 10-20 man zergs is not an uncommon occurrence. What we don’t have in numbers, we make up for in organization.

As for guilds, Os, Sekz, and TFG all have an extremely solid WvW presence (ROFL has been showing up more and more lately, too).

Best reason of all to join us: we have good, non-zergy matchups. The final score difference is usually around 2-3k. We have really, really fun matches.

And I like they way Anvil Rock <3 us so much that they actually secretly want to join NSP too.

@Rob It’s cute you think that was a golem rush. If you didn’t notice that it was just PuGs in golems. If people don’t get the chance to use them they won’t know how. I clearly explained in /t that it was an important learning experience for the people piloting them. They wanted to fight the grub in them at first if it gives you any idea as to the “planning” behind the golem rush. And 8-10 golems is really nothing, even though one player questioned me just letting the PuGs take them. Still wondering where the other 2 went if only 8 showed up there. Maybe they did try and fight the grub.

Yeh I did notice last night. But It still didn’t make the kills any less fun for me.
10Gold burnt in 10seconds is an amusing thought never mind how bad the pilots.
I don’t think it was cute that I ‘thought’ it was a rush. It really was a Golem rush.
Even 10 Golems with the worst pilots all using the number 2 skill on the doors can take them down very quickly. That SM door had 1/3rd off very very quickly with time warp.

Its like saying “Oh that zerg was just pugs”. A 40man pug zerg can still stomp a map.

I’m with Bird Song here…just don’t bring any huge alliances please. I’d like for NSP to be a little more competitive but I don’t want to lose the small-group playability that gets lost in the upper tier zergfests and artillery-reinforced camps.

So some of you guys who were in T4-5 that are now getting lost in the zergfests (Mag), come on over. The snow is greener.

I doubt it’ll be lost at all because even I wouldn’t want a HUGE alliance to join.
Nothing that would push us into the tier above.
We could probably take 5 large guilds into NSP without upsetting the balance in our tier. Especially since we actually lost 3 guilds. We could probably take in more now and just give the guys on NSP atm a bit of a more relaxing ride.

I don’t think I’d have gotten half as annoyed with it if like us. AR had to use its bl numbers to attack us. But you guys have like a reserve tank or something.
We can barely make the breakout event before the citadel zerg comes down on us.

But I can see it from the other side. You are working well in that sense.
If it makes the other guys frustrated then it is either uncalled for, or you are doing a good job. And either are opinions.

You know I like you. And I’m not saying ALS answer are showing any respect.

But a lot of time, you post thing about AR double teaming you, AR playing for the second place, AR aiming for the weak.

Like each week since we have been fighting you, you posted something about it.

I can understand that some player from AR get tired of it over time.

I do get frustrated at times and quite a bit of it is actually my own doing.
I pull 10 hour shifts at times when no other Commanders are on and very few of my guild is awake (they are primetime).
When I am on the forums it is usually after those 10hours, and also I’ve probably had a drink.

But a lot of what I say actually comes from the NSP community themselves. I am not a quiet guy as the lovely ALS gl pointed out. And I don’t restrict that to the forums. I speak to the people on the map while I’m doing the job and that is what they come up with.

But like I said. I am currently enjoying not having to fend off from two zergs from two different directions right now. As you should know that it is neigh impossible to gain any much needed points (as NSP can only hold one map at a time).

The rest were taken by Kaineng which you should know if you have paid us any attention (which I assume you have unless you are being ignorant).

But as for this whole ‘guild vs guild’ matter. I will not step into that trap. From what you have said you are not long ALS and your Public Relations name is a joke.
Hence you do not speak for your guild or hold a real rank (I assume).
Hopefully there will be a better representative of ALS in the future.

As for the shot at my intelligence.
As you can see by the screenshot and actually IF you were even there you’d have known that the AR zerg was indeed in your bl. And wiped our different parties several times.
You can see that there are various Commanders on the map and that there is actually conflict in more than one area.

Yes indeed. We are prepared and ready to host a big alliance due to what was left behind from previous ones and I think personally you’d enjoy the break!

Then what does NSP need? you ask

Ok, so. I have thought about this for a long time.
And from what I honestly see? We need more Commanders.
Not numbers even though I haven’t seen a queue time in ages. We can still get a 40 man zerg.
But Commanders is what we need, and good ones.
A large guild with its Commanders could actually take a borderland to themselves and not have to cram in with other WvW guilds beside them. Breathing space if you will.
And make a huge difference to the server.
I mean its actually ridiculous what a single guild can do here.

from the looks of your current tier and matchup, what would be the point of trying to recruit? serious question, what good could come out of recruiting in a stable tier.

its a lose-lose situation, you recruit too few, no difference made. you recruit more, you out class your current tier, but proceed to get crushed in the next tier, then lose twice the number you recruit because of being crushed.

or you recruit way more than you can handle, shoot up like DR and BP for a few weeks, then get road blocked by upper tiers, and implode from too many numbers, and not enough infrastructure to support it in the upper tiers.

i say this to all the servers in T6-8 atm, enjoy yourselves in even matchups, if you want a more competitive (tryhardlol) wvw atmosphere, just transfer to SoS instead of kittening up a good thing.

Ah I feel like I should address your concerns and what you have highlighted since I did not touch on the matter much in my first post.

As I have stated before. The Northern Shiverpeaks is still moving because of organisation of what we have instead of numbers. I can tell right now. That we are working our kitten off to maintain it.

It is that hard work which holds us together and keeps the tier balanced. I myself pull 10hour shifts in Eternal and will continue to do it until another experienced Commander comes in.
If another organised guild or several join NSP. It will take much more than that to unbalance the tier, since I will start relaxing more as will the other guilds who are fighting so hard.
We can sit back and enjoy our even fights, they are ridiculously fun during Primetime and if you are night crew then we also have an open space for you!

It would take a 500,000 point win to put us in the tier above and I do not see that happening unless we get 1,000 new players as Kaineng has done. Which will not happen.
I’d also like to bring to light that we lost some guilds to Kaineng when we fought them. So there is indeed a void that could be filled very easily.

All considered in actual fast it makes it a win-win situation.
Since NSP plays to win and its hurting our pockets to do so. We can enjoy ourselves more and the new guilds coming in can enjoy even matchups with no wait at all but still retaining that competitive edge and coordination top tier servers maintain.
We are not low tier standard, believe me. The Northern Shiverpeaks held its own against Dragonbrand for a month.

Can’t argue about transfer servers either – there are always exceptions, though, and given how well our large transfers fit in with our population, I think/hope we’ll be the exception to that rule.

As to your bet… I hope you lose, but even if you win, we’ll still be happy here on Kaineng (as long as we get some good fights!).

It been a great matchup, I’m very impressed with NSP. On reset many figured it would be AR vs. BP with NSP picking up the scraps due to losing guilds. Its quite clear this is not the case, if anything meow leaving lit a fire and your better off without them.

Come join us on NSP then there is a big chance ours 3 servers are locked together for the next few weeks. ;P

Quite frankly I’m super impressed by how NSP reacted after last week.

I’m sure it has changed, all I’m saying is despite the change you guys are holding your own.

I was recently doing map completion on my character and LOOOOL.

I’d be sitting in a random section of the map, just scrolling through some guild work and.. like.. a School.. of PvE guildies just swim past me.
Swim past me on land that is!

I thought they were bots but n0o0o0.They were just coordinated rushing around doing events together.
Some stopped to chat with me.

Theres not much training to do. Even the small PvE guilds fight mobs like gank squads in WvW. But half of them have never even been in it!

Total gold mine, we’re sitting on a top tier server without a doubt.
And when it comes time that they are bored with PvE and want to Endgame?

That’ll be when transfers are cut. And NSP will be one of the few servers still yanking in fresh blood from its reserve.

It would only take like 3 big guilds to keep us in tier 6

And not much more than that to power through tier 5.
Simply because of the stupid amount of fair weather players.
Like if a guild shows up? Double their numbers in fair weathers will appear.

WM want to go to high tier with low tier player.
I thought [MEOW] is good talent guild that not skilled, not specially, but they seem to have good mental because we saw they come and fight us and dead and dead and dead again again. I like this play for fighting hardly that high tier.
So i send massage to [MEOW] that "Let’s go with us and break high tier and work hard and finally go to T1. and told them our journey identity(?).
After break T5, ago go to T4, I will send massage other talent guild in T5.
WM didn’t send massage to high tier guild. will just low tier.

And even though others might not, I understand what you’re saying.
But poaching entire guilds from their servers is seriously uncool and upsets the balance of WvW thus ruining thousands of peoples fun over the months that you do it.
You may be winning yes, but at really what cost?

Enjoy Meow. Because running the nightshift on low tier servers is hard and it produces hard players.

Dude I would actually laugh my kitten off if you super womped Kaineng. Even if you can make them come second place. Once those fair weather players stop playing? Lol numbers disappear.
Still a lot, but nothing compared to what they are.

And don’t think that its because I’m sore because we lost to Kaineng. I just have now A LOT of money riding on Kaineng not passing tier 4.

Don’t jump on the bandwagon. Join The Northern Shiverpeaks.

We’re a North Atlantic server.
We have a round the clock shift schedule (which few servers in our tier have).
Open Alliance Infrastructure (Serverwide weekly open guild meetings)
Free transfers during off peaks times (Yes we hit medium pop at 2am PST)
We specialize in small group play and cohesive zerg (our zergs split into teams)
And other server benefits such as Commander training for up and coming Coms.

But seriously we need more people due to same tier servers gaining transfers and if you move here you’ll make a significant difference as opposed to be swallowed by a lessor server which needs x30 the work.

Get in before it too late! All those tier 1 to 3 servers? Snore.
NSP has a huge PvE base just waiting to join WvW and all it needs is some recruitment tapping!

And thats why you should come here.
Huge recruits, plenty of people just sitting here. If only an ambitious someone to use it!

We want to move up in the higher tiers, where we used to be. We were carrying Northern Shiverpeaks I never post on the forums because I am a kitteny kitten. Feel free to quote that. Another point that Bird Song already made was the pugs/other guilds on Northern Shiverpeaks are just full of abuse. As for Kaineng, we will have a challenge in higher tiers we didnt have a challenge in Oceanic time on Northern Shiverpeaks.
