I’m cool with marriage in the game. I would even be cool with a silly title or note next to your name (“Bound” or “married” or whatever). Any other extras or benefits related to it? Nope.
Just my experience in the past …
I landed on a megaserver shard with TxS killing the three worms shortly after the megaserver update came out. This was my first and only time I was able to see this happen (I am stuck at one kill and two heads severed ever since). I kept the commander on my friends list. When I asked him a few weeks late if he was willing to taxi me to an organized attempt if the map was not full already I got the reply that he and the guild in general will not do that, because you have to join the guild for this service.
I have no idea if TxS is still holding on to this elitist crap, but I have not tried to get the Triple Trouble off my to-to list ever since, although I would like to see it be done.
I wouldn’t call that elitism. As the other person said, it’s a way to try to get as many guild members (who likely can join the guild without any requirements other than repping during the events) onto the same map as possible with as few pugs (who are more likely to not know what to do as well as less likely to listen in on TS to get caught up) as possible.
Yup, deleting all characters lets you switch for free. Nothing fishy at all; it’s a truly legit way to transfer for free. But the free transfer comes at the cost of losing all your gold and gear and such if you don’t move it first.
I know it’s frustrating, but it’s not up to Anet to tell players which mode to play. If your server lacks in numbers for wvw (which I can sympathize with), then you should either look into transferring to one that has a reputation for being a heavy wvw server or try to make do with what you have.
I was thinking about getting some practice on Pig Iron Quarry and Under New Management so I can add them to the rotation. I had also forgot about Spelunker’s Delve, may give that one another go.
Under New Management takes even less time than Urmaug in LA. Definitely consider adding it to your rotation. So easy.
I just hope there’s more concern for serious and adult storytelling. Her Disney background is leaving me rather skeptical.
The fact that she’s from Disney doesn’t worry me, but this quote from the interview does;

Storytelling on television is quite anemic, Two and a half Men anyone?!
Using a sitcom as an example isn’t the best thing. :p Carnivale, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones (even though it’s based on actual novels, it’s also got kitten good screenwriters and tells the story in its own way), etc. Those are good examples of how TV can tell good stories and be very good at it.
My brother said there is quest for move to next area of Prospect Valley, which is place a bomb on the hole in house and that opens next area. But all former quest line is disabled for me and each of them is 200 gem. I just need npc that identifying fossils.
No, there’s no bomb. Go in the house, and then go down to the basement. Then look around for a tunnel out to the next area.

Nope, I read your post just fine, and then I commented that no one I play with is having the same troubles. My point is that the issue is probably not as widespread as you think and, thus, would be better solved by either posting in the tech issues forum or by putting in a ticket with support.
No, you’ll always have to pay a fee (and that fee goes up as your sell price goes up). So, if you sell for the Highest Buyer price rather than lowest seller, it’ll be a lower fee, but you’ll still have to pay it.
The magic find boost for the Perserverance buff doesn’t affect what you get from champ loot bags.

That only affects what you get from opening the Lost Bandit chests (ie. increases your chance of higher tier mats or a rare instead of a masterwork item). The other MF boost (+30 or whatever) works as it normally does, affecting the quality of your drops (better tier mats, more supply bag-type items, better chance at rares or exotics, etc.).
The flamethrower being used is likely the consumable Jezza’s Flamethrower. It’s probably just some weird thing that, using the consumable with the tonic, bypassed the fact that it’s not a combat tonic.
Is anyone else seeing this problem? I got my achievement no problem, but we’ve run this 5 times and my wife still hasn’t been able to get it. She’kittenting the big guy, killing the little ones once they all have rings but to no avail. Other party members have gotten it every time we tried but she still doesn’t have it.
If you’re doing the same achievement the OP is talking about, you don’t need to touch the big guy. You wait for the fragility field to drop, pick it up, run to a vortex, and let it remove the Fragility from you. Then you don’t kill it. Just leave it, and wait for another fragility field to run to another vortex. Repeat until they all have taken the Fragility debuff, and then kill them all as quickly as possible. The boss will go from full health to dead once you’re done killing them.
I’d second that a letter written to the company might go over better and get more attention from those that could do this. And I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s really sweet of you to want to honor him in some way.
As someone else already said, you don’t have to explode the mines to get the achievement; all you have to do is set the charge. I even did both of the mine achievements in the same instance (didn’t set them on the way up, and then set them after the helicopter showed up).
And, with the exception of the Dancer in the Dark achievement for the most recent LS, I have had absolutely no trouble doing any of the chapters or achievements solo. So, I can’t say my experience has been the same as yours.

OP, even if you hate JPs, there are other achievements you can do by only doing PvE. Also, according to your screenshot, you need less than 20 events to be done; also, PvPers only have three achievements they can do only in PvP. Why exactly are you crying foul?
well my issue is that i got the skins on low lvl equips and i wanna switch it to my legacy armour so the look like Magitech but seems like i have to buy transmutations for that
What legacy armor are you referring to? I’m just curious.
And yeah, you’ll have to have transmutation charges for those, but they’re easy to come by.
Outfits are different from armor skin sets. Outfits replace the entire look of your armor to an outfit. Using an outfit or removing it doesn’t cost transmutation charges, and you can use them anytime.

How is it anet’s fault that you agreed to give him that much gold? It’s in their terms that non TP-based transactions are NOT advised and that players participate them at their own risk. I do sympathize with you, but you can hardly blame anet for this.
I think someone dieing isn’t making a great story at all. Use this once and it can be quite emotional (Tybalt for example). Use it all the time and the effect wear off quite fast. It’s a boring trick to eliminate the characters you like again and again and again.
Yeah, I’d have to agree with that. Not every story has to have the George RR Martin treatment.
The skins do change the look of the armor. I’m not sure what issue you’re having here. You only get one free use of the skins, though. The other times will require transmutation charges.
Is she responsible for creating all that living story story stuff? Its could be explanation why we must again and again fight all those plants and dealing with sylvari and all this girl style stuff:-)
Black lion keys have always (except for right after launch) been extremely rare drops. I’ve gotten maybe three since launch, outside of Personal Story/Living Story, map completion, or the gem store. So, not getting those is the norm.
Dyes don’t ever drop anymore; they were removed as a drop back when they made identified dyes account bound. You can only get them from the gem store, TP, black lion chests, or the laurel vendors now, I believe.
As for other drops, I haven’t noticed a change in the rate of good drops for me. I have good days, and I have bad days.
Yeah, if I do a collection, it’s because I want to do it for the completion. I don’t need a silly title or other extra incentives. If it looks like a pain in the butt, I’ll skip it, not matter what the reward for completion may be. If it looks reasonable, I’ll do it.
I can’t really understand most of your post. Since the black lion kits are a 100% chance to give back the rune, it has to be there somewhere. I hope it turns up.
I’m more disgusted with the grind for amberite weapons recipes. I HATE Dry Top – it’s so utterly boring to grind out 400 geodes for each recipe. And there is NO other way to get them. I may never use the 2 fossilized insects I have, since I seemingly can’t even force myself to go into that area for more than 10 mins :-[

The seed you get for making the cultivated vine is the Pet Seed, and you can’t get a new Pet Seed from that centaur (just the first seed and the cultivated one, if you had the “bugged” Pet Seed). Search your inventories on all characters and your bank. If you still can’t find it, then create a support ticket.
Not to derail the topic, but similar (and odd): at Teq, a commander (!), pre-event, called out “Stack on me”. Many did, and something he did knocked folks back, and (I think) downed some. I don’t have any idea what it was (I told the cmdr that folks might not listen to his instructions during event…).
Any ideas? I really didn’t understand what happened so I may have mis-interpreted what I saw.

Yeah, it looks like the trailer shows a younger Caithe and Faolain, plus the time when Asura were experimenting on the Sylvari. So we’ll either be playing as one of them (in a flashback) or watching the events. It looks really neat. I’m kind of excited.
Can the centaurs at least get their own unique combat barks and death sounds? Centaurs are elegant, noble beasts!
