It’s been that way for some time now. It’s never been said if it was a bug or not, but it’s annoying regardless.
I think just paying attention would be better than a pop-up notification. When I’m vendoring, I basically go by color. If it’s green or blue (and not a cloth item), it gets sold. If it’s yellow, gold/orange, or pink, it stays.
So glad I have an 80 of each weight class so I don’t have to pay 1k crests each time
You still have to pay for the other two glove skins (or do pvp or get luck with the greater nightmare chest).
Yup, it sounds crazy. No pvp in pve, please.
I don’t really have any ideas to share right now, but I love this thread.
Highly unlikely, masterJP.
I may regret asking this question, but here we go anyway.
Why do you want only a woman? Why couldn’t you just play with any other player, male or female?
When I get my cape and am able to ride off into the sunset on my unicorn, then of course you can have open world PVP. Mind you it will still be the last time I log in, but who wouldn’t want to ride a unicorn into the sunset as they’re leaving.
Only if it leaves a trail of rainbow farts as we ride off.
Open world PvP is probably one of the few things that could drive me from this game.
That’s what I was going to say. The notion of it is a complete turn off for me as a player.
During phase 1 you can pick up bombs to run up to the ice wall. If a person doesn’t throw the bomb or use 1 to place it, it’ll just stay equipped until it explodes. The explosion knocks down the carrier and those right next to him.
Look at the world map. The completion amount for the map you’re currently in AND the amount of world completion you’ve done will be shown in the upper left corner (showing how many hearts, POIs, waypoints, vistas, and skill points you have completed out of the total amounts).
Log on, and go to your Bank or a Crafting Station. Click on the Wardrobe button, and then choose weapons > swords. It’ll show every available sword skin in the game.
I think he posted the links to the Wiki so you could have some images to go off of.
A good dialogue requires both sides to actually listen and not be hostile (or passive-aggressively hostile). Usually that works fine here. Sometimes it doesn’t.
I’m glad to see this is finally being addressed. I’ve been curious about if we’d ever see anything else about these collections.
People would just delete the mail without reading it, like most of them do when any in-game mail is sent.
From the Juggernaut wiki you linked: “The armor bonus is not always visible, but the incoming damage is decreased correctly.” So the toughness is there, but the numbers just don’t show it.
As for the other, no idea.
Look at your world map, and hover your mouse over the name of each area to see if you have 100% in each zone. Several zones have had new POIs, waypoints, and vistas added over the past year or so. Odds are you just missed a couple of the newer ones.
Also, double check the Chantry of Secrets for your missing POI.
I noticed the same thing with my necro. The texture basically flickers constantly.
Well, next time you could earn the gold without paying for gems. It feels a bit more like an accomplishment if you earn the gold through dungeons or whatever.
Nope, no Assassin stats. Berserker, Cleric, Rampager, Magi, Rabid, and Soldier. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Temple_armor#Acquisition
Keep in mind that temple armor is not salvageable. So, if you want to put good runes in your armor, either don’t get the temple armor or be prepared to wear that armor for quite a while.
Are you sure you chose to replay the story (from the Hero Panel > Story Journal > Tangled Paths: Replay this episode?
Your post here is confusing a bunch of lore. First off, the Jade Brotherhood was a gang in Cantha. I have no idea why you’re bringing them up now. Also, who is Brill?
.
Brill is Glint in certain languages for the game.
Let’s say the jade brotherhood knew Brill had eggs to take care of. We know there was a portal in cristal desert leading to Elona, and I’ve read somewhere that the portal doesn’t lead to Elona anymore (but it didn’t say the portal doesn’t work). Could the brotherhood had recalibrated the portal in cristal desert to a portal next to the bloodstone in Magguma Jungle to evade the eggs in case of emergency ?
The Jade Brotherhood were a gang in Cantha. They had nothing to do with Glint, her eggs, or the Crystal Desert. I think you mean the Brotherhood of the Dragon and their descendents. And you’re really reaching far here with your theories.
I believe right now the north parts of the entire Crystal Desert are claimed by Kralkatorrik, and the southern areas and Desolation are under rule by Palawa Joko. Plus, the risen and Palawa Joko’s undead are fighting all over the place. Basically, the area is inaccessible.

Thieves have “steal” already. As for mind control, no.
A note about eotm armor. That armor, like karma armor, cannot be salvaged or dumped in the forge.
you mean the armageddon armor? that can absolutely be salvaged and dumped in the forge. I recommend you salvage it only if it is able to give an insignia (soldier, magi, shaman, etc.), and use a master kit. otherwise I just save them and toss them into the forge and sell on the TP whatever comes out (usually worth around 4g)
It certainly cannot be salvaged. Karma and badge of honor gear is not salvageable. Some karma stuff can be forged, but badge stuff can’t be.

You’ll have to do the wvw maps (three bordelands maps and Eternal Battlegrounds). That’s probably what you’re missing.
I second Yargesh. Back off on the farming. You’re going to burn yourself out (already have, it seems). There’s no need to rush to finish a legendary.
As long as you open your mail, even if you don’t have the letter, it’ll start the chain for you. Make sure you go in the skritt tunnel and then run down towards the labyrinth. As long as the episode is activated on your character, you should be able to go on in.
Yes, it’s only once per account. And once you got it the first time, it should have unlocked it in the Collection tab for that Collection. So, you don’t need to get another one.
The Aspect Masters are actually trying to kill us. Why else would they be encouraging us to get closer to the evil attacking bird-thing?
Yeah, I saw no evidence whatsoever of us going to the Crystal Desert. The Master of Peace was taking it even farther into Maguuma to keep it safe, which is the opposite direction from where the Crystal Desert is.
I had a difficult time getting this on my own. I’d get him to about 5% and would die before I could finish him off. Having a friend come in with me helped a lot, since our combined DPS let us burn him from 25% to 0% very quickly.
Yeah. I refine them when I need vision crystals. Otherwise, everything except the full stack in the deposit slot gets fed to Mawdrey or deleted.
PvE honestly gets spoiled with all the content it gets when you compare to what PvP and WvW get.
Yeah, Mawdrey is fully evolved.
Why do you have to wait in heart of the mists, can’t you queue from any zone?
That. I assumed that’s how the queue system works, anyway.
As ayrilana said, it’s the Summon Familiar spawn when you use the witch costume’s broom. The only mini of a cat with a hat is Chauncey von Snuffles III.
Play when I can, and read when I’m bored.
Bonus chests are rewarded once per day per account. The big reward chest for the world bosses are rewarded once per day per character (with the exception of karka queen, which is once per day per account). The in-game new “day”, which resets daily achievements and world boss completion, starts at midnight server time (which is at 7pm Eastern in the US).
Yeah, try the proper subforum; they’ll have some tips. For the record, I never get blackscreens from this game. So, yeah.
I got my terragriff fang the first time through defeating those two bosses. However, it took me four tries to get the troll fang I needed. RNG is RNG. :\
You can take screenshots and make a CS ticket to report them.
Turn off post-processing. Having that bloom go away will help immensely when it comes to being able to see clearly.
You can’t say something doesn’t drop from something but not have the proof to back it up.
You say it only dropped in one area but only provided evidence for that one area. Not the other areas where you claim it never dropped.
Things don’t drop out of just one thing in this game. So you can’t use proof that it drops from Item 1 to say that it doesn’t drop in Item 2.
That’s the problem. You haven’t proven to anyone that it didn’t drop in places other than Snowball Mayhem. Just that the drop rate for it was likely abysmal.
Alright 500 games a about 4-5 or more gifts = ~2000 gifts – got 4 major sigils of generosity of them, got some glue from them, got some stuffing material from them. People in snowball mayhem were linking their superior sigils of generosity they just got.
Got 6000 gifts outside of that game – yes I had them on different stacks – got all backpiece recipes from that, got no sigils, got no stuffing material, got no glue.
Do you have evidence to back up your claim that they dropped from every gift?No backpiece recipes dropped in 2012. As for definite proof that they dropped from gifts everywhere, there isn’t any (just as there isn’t any definite proof that they dropped just from Snowball Mayhem). Regardless, I strongly doubt that Anet made it so that the gift boxes dropping from Snowball Mayhem had a different loot table than every other gift box drop. RNG is RNG.
Here are the drop/rate tables from the wiki, just because I was curious and looked them up. Just for the Giant and Large boxes.

And Jana is talking about the Sigil of Generosity. Not a backpiece recipe. At least that’s my understanding of it.
Jana mentioned getting backpiece recipes, and I assumed they were talking about 2012 Wintersday instead of 2013. Hence my comment about the backpiece thingy.

They dropped during the second one as well.
I have no reason to assume they won’t drop again. They only dropped from gifts received in Snowball Mayhem.
No, it dropped from all gifts, not just those acquired in Snowball Mayhem.
I loved it, too. As soon as I saw it, I said “I want that for a background”.
What makes you think ANet numbers the badges? That’s all Dulfy and her guide, to follow her video.
That. The badges are only numbered by dulfy based on the path used in the guide. They’re not numbered in the game.
