I have the same issue. I added some of my Mini I set into account bound earlier… and they are not being added into the new Collection Achieve. I havent sold any minis that werent duplicates on the TP…
You said you only added “some” of them; have you not put all in yet? The image you posted shows that at least 38 WERE added to the new collection achievement.
It works for me. Just did it.
Since he bought it, only he should put in the ticket. And he should just put in one ticket. Each time you put in a new ticket, it pushes you back further, making it take longer to get to you. So, if he’s put in multiple tickets, tell him to cancel his tickets, and put in one new one about it.
I believe the requirement of multiple game modes in order to complete a legendary has encouraged some people to sort their way out with the Great Sellers , like me, and as a result got scammed. So I would say the grind is a bit too much, and require too much time outside of my work hours.
So, you bought gold from a third party, knowing it was not only against the ToS but also likely not safe. And you’re trying to say that was Anet’s fault somehow. Nice.
I don’t see why this should matter, but is your friend’s in-game mail full? And does the transaction show up on his Recent Purchases window? If it shows up, have him screenshot it and submit a ticket with support.
Is your in-game mail full?
Yes, you have to complete them to unlock the achievements (and each character has to go through it in order to be able to try the achievements on each character). After completing the whole run on a character, you’ll have the option to play through again (you don’t have to do it all in order; you can just go to each mission as you desire) for the achievements.
Consuming the Feast of Truffle Steak Dinner Recipe is NOT the same as eating a Plate of Truffle Steak (which is what you eat for the achievement, not the Feast or Dinner).
If you’re stuck, you could just do Chef on an alt, and then re-learn the recipe.. It’s cheap and pretty fast. Hopefully someone comes up with a solution that doesn’t require that, though.
I always think of it as Alan A Dale from the Disney Robin Hood, since he’s a rooster AND a minstrel.
If you have special bags (invisible or craftsman, for example), the items in them won’t be affect by Compact.
@Fatallion: it can’t hurt to make a request to support. I agree with Inculpatus that it was probably designed to require the actual Hero weapon.
However, things have changed since:
- The skins were introduced as part of Spring Tournament 2014, which began in March 2014.
- The wardrobe system was added 15 April 2014.
So, perhaps Customer Support will be sympathetic to your situation and help figure something out with you.
The rewards weren’t released until about a month after the wardrobe was put in. If Anet had intended for the Hero weapons to somehow act differently from every other weapon in the game, they probably would have changed it or addressed it by now.
I don’t see why (or how) they would make a Wardrobe-locked skin become able to be forged. For example: You can’t go into your Wardrobe, take out your Dawn skin, and then reforge it to make a new Sunrise legendary. Once you delete the item, it’s gone.

The landmines for this renown heart are no longer able to be disarmed (or interacted with in any way). They show up as objects if you hold down Ctrl, but when you get next to them, there’s no option to interact.
This, plus the fact that very few separatists show up to be killed, AND plus the fact that the separatist caravan event doesn’t count towards heart completion make the heart take quite a ridiculously long amount of time to complete.

In order to upgrade an item, you have to actually have the item to upgrade. The skin in your wardrobe isn’t the item. You’re kind of SOL, unless you want to request a rollback, which probably wouldn’t be the best decision here.
You can interact with the totem at any time, but it doesn’t trigger the next step in the story unless the event chain is at the point where the shamans have been defeated. Once the chain recycles back to the beginning, it has to be driven through to the battle in Barrowstead to unlock the story again.
Ah, yeah, that makes sense.
I noticed when I ran my new ranger (who hasn’t even finished the first PS, let alone activated Living Story chapters) through Frostgorge that I could interact with and break the ice inside the Svanir area, despite the Coiled Watch event being farmed and not allowed to succeed. Have you tried just skipping the event chain and interacting with it to see if that works? I realize it doesn’t solve the issue of farmers messing up things, but it could at least get you to the next step.
Did you check your Bank? Material Storage, all the way down at the bottom. They’ll be there.
I just did it, and I had no issues. Used stability (necro lich form) to get past the wind area for the first section. So yeah. Sounds like just some weird random problem.
What nottsgman said. If the armor/backslot aren’t level 80, you won’t be able to put a level 80 upgrade (such as a ruby orb) in them. You’d have to use the tier below orbs. Also, back pieces take jewels (either crafted yourself or bought on the TP) to be upgraded, not just the gemstone.
I know this is about wvw, but the same thing happens with the same types of golems in pve
Should have been fixed with the most recent patch.
Sadly, it wasn’t. Both the player elite and NPC golems are still hitting way too hard.
FYI: It’s not fixed.
Yeah, it’s not working at all for me, either.
The event is extremely over the top now. I tried to help a group (of at least 20 players) get it done three times yesterday. Each time, the center was just overwhelmed by the number of champions and elites. We tried intercepting the champs and elites outside the town, but more would show up before we got the champ down to even 50% health.
I’m all for making group events, and making them challenging. However, this one needs to be toned down a bit.
Yup, Asura elite golem definitely doing the extra damage, too.
If you change zones or leave an instance once a new build is active, it restarts your game. If you don’t want to restart right away, you have to stay in the same map/instance.
At least one of the skillpoints in Metrica Province does the same thing. It seems like it’s game-wide.
Another golem issue: I noticed this with one of the skill point challenges in Metrica Province (the one in the far NE corner, at the Inquest Complex). It’s a level 13 veteran, I think. My level 15 character was killed during that attack; I dodged the first couple of hits, but then my endurance ran out. So, I came back with a friend (on his level 80, fully geared mesmer). My friend and I were BOTH downed by the attack.

Have you checked this list? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer#Shiverpeak_Explorer
The last one I ended up needing there was http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Forsaken_Halls
But there are a couple of others that are easily missed.
I’d say “Could you please slot in -insert needed reflect utility skill here- for this?”. If they refused, I’d honestly consider kicking him. :\
If you’re using a 25% speed boost, like Power Shoes, you’ll get slowed down to the normal non-combat, non-boosted speed rate when put into combat.
I’m having a problem mentioned before in this post. After applying dye, and exiting the hero screen, my dye is reverted back. This is only happening on transmuted and non transmuted items.
Can anyone help?
Are you saving the Dye change before closing the window?
It’s bugged for me and my husband, as well. Trahearne does his bit at the middle platform and the first seal. But after he says his dialogue at the first seal, nothing happens. We moved over to the next two seals and killed the mobs at those. Trahearne and the Priestess ported to those two platforms once the mobs were dead and did the dialogue, but the story UI didn’t update to match. And then when we tried going back to the center platform, Trahearne didn’t follow.
The first map I was in, the first Iron Marches event never started. Got onto one where that was working, and progressed to the next part. Now I can’t find a map with THAT part working properly. What the heck?
I’m beginning to see why you are being kicked from teams so often.
The ones that scam are usually people that you can tell if they are going to scam as soon as you enter the instance (sitting at the dungeon entrance, no objectives complete or path selected).
In my experience all people who put the effort in to complete the dungeon will not scam legitimate buyers. There are rare exceptions such as guild groups selling at the end and repeatedly kicking pugs after paying. Although ive never witnessed it, only heard rumors (could be untrue).
Yup, that. I’ve bought Arah paths three or four times (got lucky and grabbed a couple “p1 5g” and “p2 5g” postings) for quick tokens for armor. I never had any issues where I was scammed. I always took screenshots of the name of the person I paid, just in case, but things always went smoothly.
I’ve noticed a lot of weird problems with statues in Orr lately. For example: I was in Cursed Shore the other day, near the same Skill Point/statue. Both the Grenth and Melandru temples were cleared and uncontested, yet the brambles were still growing when I went near the statue. Same thing with one of the statues over in Malchor’s Leap.
Really? this is bugged for a year and still no fix? I’m not receiving exotic chests and chests on the ground anymore because of this bug at Tequatl boss. Any reason why this wasn’t still fixed?
Seeing as how the last post in this thread (before yours) was “a year ago”, I don’t think it’s a case of it “still not being fixed”. Have you submitted a support ticket and all that?
Did you already do Arah story once today on that account? If so, you wouldn’t be able to get the boss chests again.
You might want to refer to your last post about this. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/players/Best-way-to-make-gold/first#post4221257
Just buy the precursor.
You bumped the thread then as soon as someone posted you deleted your bump post.
Nice smooth Necroing there.
Yup.
I think you should try each class, really. Get them to at least level 50 or 60, if not all the way to 80. That way you’ll have a good idea of the playing style for each of them, and you’ll have one of each class (if you ever need them for anything).
Warrior is definitely the easiest. Guardian is pretty simple, too.
Seriously, if you’re being kicked this often, you might want to rethink how you interact with other players.
I encountered a different bug here. Before entering the fort, you are asked by Belinda Delaqua to find and bring back a portion of her squad close by. After helping these soldiers out with their fights and reviving their fallen, they went into formation and stopped moving whatsoever. My marker moved back to the fort, but without the soldiers the gates wouldn’t open and I was forced to redo the quests.
Luckily for me it’s right at the start of the quest, so hardly any time and effort were lost.
(Bug reported)
There were soldiers ? For me there was just one single NPC i had to revive .. and i also was downed in that try. But it also was a little strange for me to hear something about a squad just to save one single person.
If you get over there quickly, there are four or five soldiers fighting the mobs there (and one dead/rezzable NPC). One of the bonus achievements is getting there and saving them before any of the soldiers (not the rezzable one, since he seems to be downed the whole time) can die.
I did a quick google search and found this thread. According to it the boots are the Stately set (same as the chest). https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Human-Priest-Armor-how-to-get-them/first#post3866547
I did it last night, and it MOSTLY worked fine for me. The first time I had to do it (during that last fight, at 50%) I had to do it twice, as the first time it just stopped me after I hit him and didn’t get rid of the shield. But after that, it was fine. Are you targeting him before you do the rush into the shield? If you aren’t, that might be why it’s messing up.
I think the boots are actually the CoE boots. But yeah, can’t see the gloves to tell what they are.
Haha I’m sure OP meant Daphne
And he’s bang on too
Actually, you could say that Rox = Scooby Doo & Frostbite = Scrappy Doo
SCRAPPY DOO
NEVER
HAPPENED.
But PUPPY POWER!
Assuming that both the engi and ranger are competent players who know how best to buff/help their party members: I’d rather have an engi in my party than a ranger.
