1. Take screenshots of the party when you enter, making sure you can see their names. That way you know who to report if you have cause.
2. If you’re getting kicked that often when you talk, you might want to rethink how you speak to your fellow party members.
Get poisoned for 50% more damage and burn.
Yup, that, too.
I believe the guaranteed Booster Powder promotion has run its course.
From the June 3rd News Blog:
‘For the next two weeks, get a guaranteed bonus fourth item from every chest you open!’
And from the June 3rd Patch Notes:
‘For the next two weeks, every Black Lion Chest will include an additional reward: Boost Enchantment Powder.’
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/updates/Game-Update-Notes-June-03-2014/first#post4088247
Thus, I don’t believe an item is lost, merely replaced for the new promotion.
Yup, that.
the necro can manually activate the knockdown skill, if the flesh golem faces in your direction when you go to stealth, the nec can activate the skill, and the golem will run in the direction he faced last. your direction.
so no bug here
That. The necro probably just triggered him to do his Charge after you stealthed, and since he had just been attacking you/facing you, he was able to hit you.
Talk to the Black Lion armor npc next to a trading post in any major city. They’ll give you your new townclothes/outfits.
im speak with all BL armor npc and I did not see a dialogue that would suggest to me to create my Mag King’s Outfits
When you talk to him, he will ask you if you want him to convert your town clothes for you. Your Mad King’s Outfit is a town clothing item. Once you tell him to convert them, the outfit will appear in your inventory, as will tonics for your other town clothes.
Fight her as everyone did before they knew about the reflect. Don’t get in front of her when she’s going to spit, and dodge out of her aoes.

I have to disagree (with an exception). When some of our guildies get together for dungeon/fractal runs every now and then. It’s usually 2-3 of us, and will pug for the extra(s) as needed. In rare cases have I seen a kick, even if they are horribad. We certainly don’t kick in favor of a guildie at the end. If guildie wants to run with us, they are going to have to wait until we finish run.
Yup, that. Sometimes you won’t be able to pull a full dungeon/fractal group from your guild (especially so if you’re in a smaller guild), making pugging necessary.
Luck, at least, can be combined with Artificing. So, you could turn a bunch of green qualities into rares and then into exotic to save some clicking.
Just make sure you don’t accidentally leave your mic open so the whole TS can hear you typing.
Or talk/argue to your parents/significant others, or have some kind of weird conversation with roommate, etc. Sometimes its funny, other times its the opposite, and you think, should we be listening to this?
Have heard all of these in one way or another due to other peoples open mics on either my servers ts or TTS ts.
I remember one of the times the argument in the background happened with someone’s mom. That was awkward and hilarious.
Actually, I see those wind gusts anywhere someone uses one of the 3 skills. They just don’t have any affect till those last 3 jumps. Yes there are nets, and they are a great improvement over last year, but I’ve never landed on one from a failed jump, only from trying to jump through that wind once or twice till I learned.
I’d like to believe it’s skill lag but the players near me suffer the same fate. They fall half way through their jump too. The only place I see any significant lag in the game is meleeing Tequatyl or the Karka Queen.Hmmm, it’s like if you were to use the 3 skill but didn’t have a target. You would still jump in the direction you want to go but then you would quickly stop and fall.
You’re either not waiting until the wind stops (which, again, is only on those last three jumps for the race and affect everyone who runs) or you’re having latency problems that are interrupting your jump.
Edit to add: You see a wind gust around a player when they use the 2 (wind jump) skill. But that doesn’t affect anyone but the player using the skill. Are you sure you’re using the correct skill at the lightning pull section? You should be getting the purple buff that’s called Lighting Pull; that’s how you get across those three jumps at the end.

Why does it really matter? As long as you don’t aggro it, it won’t enter the circle. If you want it in the circle to kill it, you can just kill it anyway.
I’m almost 30 years-old, and I get nervous talking on TS (in fact I rarely, if ever, do it). I’ll say this: don’t feel intimidated because of your age. Odds are that a portion of the people in TS are only a couple of years older than you, anyway. So, if you want to add something to the conversation, feel free to. Just make sure you don’t accidentally leave your mic open so the whole TS can hear you typing.
I’m talking about when you wait for the wind to stop and then when you jump, you and anyone close, only make it half way and fall to your death.
I only see this when I’m the leader or near to it.
Don’t you see those blasts of wind all through the event? They only seem to have effect when your doing the last three jumps.
If it’s something else, it doesn’t matter to me, because I make a point of starting it several minutes late now.
The wind blasts only happen on the lightning jump section (the last three or four jumps before the sprint at the end). And they happen throughout the entire duration of therace. If you’re not making it across and dying, I don’t know what’s going on because:
1. There are safety nets for that part. It’s pretty difficult to miss the nets and actually fall to your death.
2. You can see the wind as it’s blowing; if you press 3 (your lightning pull skill) as soon as you see the wind stop, you’ll make it across. Now, if you have latency issues, then that could be your issue with making it across with the lightning pull, but that’s a separate issue.
There’s no added penalty for people who are in first/second/third place. I’ve been in first and second place on the race quite a few times, and I’ve never had an issue where the wind doing what it wasn’t supposed to.
well if you just spend a bit of crystalline dust and elonian wine you get the basic skin too!
then you have both skins
who knows one day you have found a style where the heroes weapons would fit perfectly but the white glow doesnt fit…
You actually get both skins if you buy the Mistforged. So, you don’t have to do the recipe to get the Heroes and Mistforged skins.
Orphanage is really easy, too, especially on guardian. But I prefer hospital.
“The person who works/invests more time…gets more shinies. This rule applies real life also.”
Yes. It is true. So it is necessary, that this injustice isn’t in this game. I can see you are a conservative, OLD gamer, I wish you, that in this game change nothing through 2 years.
bye gyökér
It’s not an injustice. People who have been playing longer and have more AP than you earned them; you don’t deserve special treatment just because you feel jealous that they have more AP than you.
100 tickets sent by mail and chest reward forgotten. What the patch was?
You have to go to the battle historian in wvw to get your replacement chest. The patch notes explain it.
That feature has been in the game since launch. Whiners want to whine, I guess.
I did every gauntlet champion on my necro, with a full zerker/power build. I got most on the first go, and the ones I didn’t get on the first go only took a couple of tries. The one exception is Liadri, whom I just haven’t tried to beat yet. So, I have to disagree.
If you’re having trouble with dodging, get endurance food and sigils. They go a long way with helping.
Guess I was throwing a bunch of stuff in there, when I really and wanted to see if anyone else noticed how if you are in the lead, the elemental spirits just hound you till you fail. It doesn’t matter which skill is used when a spirit blows you sideways, they fail and you die.
So a race would imply everyone has an equal chance to win, but if you get good at it, your not treated equal.
A race would provide rewards based on how we place, however you can start when others have finished and still be rewarded the same. Not saying it’s not fun, just that starting 2 minutes after everyone else makes it a lot easier without all those spirit effects.
What elemental spirit? Do you mean the wind that blows once you get to the lightning jumps? If so, all you have to do there is wait for the wind to stop blowing and then jump.
You have to go talk to the historian in wvw. The patch notes say so.
I wouldn’t have kicked someone for wanting to do Kholer or even walking over to do Kholer (or for not wanting to do so). I find dungeons runs to be more enjoyable if I just go with the flow. So, taking AC for example, if I pug I ask (after the elite and champ gravelings) if they want to do Kholer. Whatever the majority says I go along with in this case, just to save time. Even if a stalemate happens, like in your original post, I don’t kick them. More often than not everyone gets on the same page, the dungeon continues, and we get our rewards.
Now, if they start mouthing off in party chat, I’d be ok with kicking them.
The blue versions were the sellable skins, and you get get them as rnd drop from the Endbosses.
I have a video clearly showing that the quality of the items is blue, and back then it was sellable.
After i put it in the bank and retrieved it later it changed to green and is now accountbound !!!
I’ve already created an ingame ticket, yet no response.
I will open another ticket using the forum .
I’m sorry, but I don’t see how an SAB I weapon (blue) could turn into a King Toad weapon (green).
I’m pretty sure the heal tick would be more based on your level (and, thus, your base HP).
When I looked earlier, out of curiosity, it would have cost me over 100g for 800 gems.
Yeah, kicking people for silly reasons is definitely interesting.
EOTM = easy and fast wvw achievements
Or you could just skip them.
“The skills are intentionally glitched.
Actions that normally work every time, only work most of the time here.
Each time a skill fails, (and at least one will every trip) you usually start over.”
I can’t say I’ve ever had that problem, and I’ve done the Dolyak event more times than I could count.
It’s character, I believe. Or at least that’s how it is for the legendary Gift recipes, anyway.
Just so you know, it only takes two players to kick someone from a party: the person who proposes the kick, and then someone to click the check mark.
The people who play more are going to have more AP. If you don’t log on and play, then you miss out. That’s just how it is. You’ll eventually be at the same level of AP as those around you with higher amounts; they’ll just be ahead of you still. Why should those with fewer AP be given a fast track when those with higher amounts weren’t?
Mango Pies are a level 80 HoT food, with a vitality bonus added.
I’ve used this once or twice to find food names. http://wiki.theamazonbasin.com/index.php/Guild_Wars_2_Nourishment_Database
I think you actually can if you go into pvp.
You can’t enter pvp from the instance, and you can’t leave the instance without completing it.
Is your home server the same as the guild’s server?
I sometimes put kitten into my post manually, either because I know the filter will change it or because I can’t be bothered thinking of the right word to use to add emphasis (offensive or otherwise). If I put kitten in it’s like when something’s bleeped out on TV: everyone can fill in their own word.
“Kitten” is Dutch for young cat.. Always makes me giggle when I see it
Also english for young (baby) cat.
Probably adopted from the dutch. (As is the word cookie apparently.)
The English one could be derived from Old French. Maybe the Dutch one is, too. http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=kitten
Guilds are still tied to one server only. So, if you’re on a guild that’s not also based on your home server, you won’t be able to access that guild’s bank or upgrades/bonuses.
Crafting can be a way to level your character a bit, too. Crafting a discipline from 1-400 gives you 7 levels. And leveling cooking is fairly cheap. But if you’re just looking to craft for the hell of it, I’d put it off until you’re either 80 or have some gold to spend on the crafting. Using whatever drops you get as your armor/weapons works just fine as you level.
At the end of the dungeon, there’s the boss chest, the 1g and 40 tokens reward that pops up on the screen, and the bonus chest (with the 20s and bonus tokens) that pops up in the lower right-hand corner. In CoF p1 after you finish the boss, there are a couple of seconds before the cut scene, and the 1g/40 token reward pops up AFTER the cut scene is done. As for p2 there’s about a minute between the boss chest appearing and the dungeon reward being given. So yeah, the guy grabbed the boss chest (and possibly the bonus 20s chest, if he was fast) and then left without his main reward, too.
Regardless, yeah, the guy is a tool.
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
well give the guy some credit. He’s willing to give up 1 gold and tokens to grief you.
Not if he teleports to the chest immediately after the “boss” in the middle dies and nabs the rewards!
I’m surprised this hasn’t been fixed since day 1.
That chest he grabbed doesn’t have the tokens and 1g.
Map completion of cities is required for 100% Map Completion (which is required to make Legendaries). So, yes, you can complete the full map, and you’ll get a bit of exp and a transmutation charge as a reward.
Edit: You could use this to check for the waypoint you missed. http://gw2.mmorpg-life.com/divinitys-reach-map-of-pois-waypoints-vistas-skills-and-more/32246/
As others already said, leveling a character to 80 takes no time. If you want your gold and stuff back, contact CS and ask for a rollback (if you haven’t already had one previously).
Ascended chests drop from Three Headed Wurm, Tequatl, Fractals, Guild Mission rewards, wvw rank chests, and (very, very rarely) exotic champion loot bags.
I believe by “blue” he means the color of the effect on the weapon, and the icon representing them shows that they are green (toad) weapons and not the regular blue supers.
If that’s the case, then that’s really, really unusual. I’m not sure how that would even happen, unless his monitor suddenly stopped (or started) showing colors a certain way.
Dusk and Naegling both share the same skin. So, I’m not sure what you mean.
The sellable SAB skins (the ones that dropped from chests at the end of SAB levels) are Yellow/Rare quality. The account bound ones (the ones you bought with Bauble Bubbles) are Green/Masterwork quality. So, I’m not sure how you would have ever had a Blue/Fine quality SAB skin.
Have you made sure the skins aren’t currently sitting inside an Invisible Bag/Safebox? If they’re inside either of those, they won’t show up on the TP or vendors. You also cannot sell items directly from the Bank tab; you have to pull them into your inventory first.
(edited by RoseofGilead.8907)
I imagine the tutorial starter area was not meant to cater to Level 80s, and may not have any down-leveling implementation.
I, personally, see no need to spend development resources ‘fixing’ something that really isn’t a ‘bug’.
This.
The area is only meant to be played by level 1 characters. So, there’s no scaling put into it, in terms of player levels.
For Kielda’s fire achievement, basically you need to have high dps so you can burn her down as soon as possible. Use weapon attacks and skills that help fill your Death Shroud bar, since you can use that as both a third weapon set and a second health pool. If going full-on DPS doesn’t do the trick, you could try traiting for Life Steal/Leech and buying Scavenger or Vampirism runes for your armor (the full set).
As for Masticus, you have to collect/touch the orbs on the ground. The more orbs you collect, the higher your outgoing damage. There’s an achievement for that fight that requires you to get 25 stacks from the orbs, anyway. So, just attack him while you kite around to pick up orbs. Having fears and condition removal are useful.
