the bubbles that are supposed to protect you from boss projectiles also stop your projectiles so you can’t attack it or defend the minions
Yeah. I found that out during my attempt to get the achievement where you can’t get hit by the boss’ pollen or whatever. It was just easier (and faster) to constantly kite around the boss and avoid any circles on the ground.
With new living world story i can’t take a huge break without missing story part.. Even tho i hate all 5 members of “new destiny edge” with all my heart.
As long as you can remember to log in once every two weeks, you’ll have that content unlocked for you to replay at any time. Even if you do hate Destiny’s Edge 2.0.
I think engi is your best bet for being both useful in pve group play and in spvp.
I’m sure they’ll add the “Entitled” title for the special snowflakes soon enough.
I did the mission four times. The last two times I didn’t get downed a single time, but Marjory and Kasmeer still disappeared about halfway during the boss fight. I wasn’t sure if that was intended or not (and I didn’t exactly need their additional help), so I just didn’t think anything of it.
Eternity is one legendary. Sunrise is another one. Even if Sunrise is inside Eternity, it’s still not a stand-alone legendary anymore.
How do you find that many chests? I only have found four chests ever. Probably needless to say none of them had any special things inside.
Run around while holding down Ctrl, so that it displays any items you can interact with.
Personal Story instances are different from normal maps and dungeons/fractals. If you’re doing a PS instance with a party and one party member disconnects, that person is just out of luck because you can’t rejoin a PS instance already in progress.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Molten_Lodestone
That page has a list of the containers they drop from and where you can get them.
But the pots work on the Nightmare Court regardless.
Really? I hadn’t noticed that. Good to know.
So all 3 paths of TA, Molten Fractal, Aetherblade Fractal, and Aquatic ruins Fractal
That’d be the full list?
And thanks for the info.
Nightmare Court isn’t Toxic Alliance. Also, I didn’t think the krait in the underwater fractal were Toxic Alliance krait, either. But it’s been so long since I did fractals that I don’t know for sure.
Anyone have a list of what the scarlet slaying potions work on?
Toxic Alliance, Watchwork, Aetherblade, and Molten Alliance. So, they’re useful in the Aetherpath of TA, Aetherblade fractal, and Molten Facility fractal.
I know in some cases people just don’t realize that the potions have been fixed (even if they were fixed quite a while ago). I’ve had many conversation with people in my PUGs about them, and a surprising amount didn’t realize they were useable again.
But, more often than not, it’s just laziness and/or not noticing they don’t have any. And I can’t blame them. I mean, I tend to have everything on my two mains (necro and warrior); three or four different foods, pet consumables, and potions. But sometimes I’ll end up needing to switch (for example: if a TA run starts to go badly and bringing my guard might help more) and won’t even think to move stuff over for my rarely-played guard.
Generally speaking, dungeon runs will go just fine even if no one is using food or potions. The only exceptions are certain Arah groups and Fractals (and maybe the Aetherpath).

If you get kicked that often, there’s probably a common denominator (and it isn’t the fact that it’s “guild groups”).
Those issues are more to do with your ISP and latency than with the game.
He is a very nice Giant. The other one is rather more aggressive. But they both have two eyes, by the way. Giants, not Cyclops.
The giants in GW2 have just one eye.
And turning off Post-Process, that’s despicable! I love the overall effects that come with it…
Really? It just makes everything look all glowy and soft-light, like a 20 year-old’s “#nomakeup #nofilter” selfie on Instagram.
My necro and ele would like more than one underwater elite option. Could we start a Flesh Golem Swimming Lesson lesson, maybe?
Just a tip: If you turn off Post-Processing, it helps a great deal.
I’ve heard reports that the cultural armor sets that you can purchase from the sPvP vendor with leftover glory will not count towards the achievement despite unlocking the skins, but I haven’t personally verified that (for obvious reasons). However, if you did buy some cultural armor skins via glory, it’s possible that that’s the reason your achievement category isn’t complete.
For instance, if you purchased the T3 heavy via glory, it perhaps didn’t count towards the achievement, but the 5 pieces of the medium set did, leaving you at 17/18.
If you can spare the cash, you might try purchasing the T3 medium helmet and seeing what happens.
Other than that, I’m not sure what the possible cause could be.
EDIT: See https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Cultural-Armor-Achievement-Bug-From-PvP
That.
Any ones you got from PVP won’t count.
Since you really can’t do anything to stop them, you might want to consider changing the time you do your missions (at least for a couple of weeks).
As has been said above, my experience over the past two years has shown that I generally am guaranteed corpse loot if I’m in a party. I get the corpse loot about 50% of the time if I’m on my necro or warrior solo. You’ll also get the daily reward chest and the boss chest with or without a party.
However, there’s really no point in being in a party for certain world events. Shatterer, SB, FE (after the golem escort), Baby Jungle Wurm, and Golem (maybe more, but I’m drawing a blank on the rest of the events) don’t drop any loot from their corpses. So, you don’t need a party really for those. Claw of Jormag also doesn’t drop loot, but the champs in phase 2 DO drop loot; so, being in a group there is really up to you. Svanir Shaman, Taidha Covington, Megadestroyer, and Modniir (for example) do drop loot directly; so if you want champ bags, partying up for those is good.
It also took me a moment to realize how the puzzle could be griefed. Now that I realize what OP means, I have to agree that it’s something that really should be looked into.
I haven’t noticed the problem nearly as often since the most recent updates. Before the LS2 patch the Svanur Shaman and Hydra Queen would both constantly have the either “Out of range” notice or just do no damage/not hit. After the patch, however, I haven’t had those issues.
Check your underwater weapons and even your accessories.
I understand why it occurred from a code perspective. The weights are on the items, so they unlock for that weight class.
However, going by all of the unlockable skins in season 1, when a skin is available on all three weight classes, it unlocks for all three at the same time. Have there been any other LS skins that were the same on all armor classes, but unlocked only one at a time?
The monocle (from the Aetherblade retreat) is the same as the Adventurer skins. You have to buy all three weight to unlock all three skins.
For those achievements you have to have 6 of the T1, 6 of the T2, and 6 of the T3.
The skritt burglar chests have a few locations they can appear. It could be that you came across that chest right as it was moving to another spawn location.
Sonder the Seller has a tab for them now.
From what I understand you can only get back inscriptions/insignias from stat combos that cannot be crafted. So, you can’t get a berserker’s intricate gossamer inscription back from an exotic berserker armor piece, but you CAN get a soldier’s intricate gossamer inscription back from a soldier piece.
When I have a surplus of tokens, I buy armor (since I can either use the silk or sell it) with stats that have a chance to give me back the insignia, and then I break them down.
The panda model is a bear model. It’s the same (minus the head size/color/fur changes) as all the other bear mini pets I looked at, complete with the same idle movements. The pigs have a different model and different idle movements.
They’re not “required”, though. You don’t need a FGS to complete any dungeon or any boss in the game.
If you’ve bought other T2 Sylvari armor before, then that category was already credited to “The Emperor’s New Wardrobe” and “Sylvari Specialty Armors” with your first purchase.
If not, then I don’t know.I have bought T2 before, but another weight-class (light armor)
It doesn’t matter what weight class. You need 6 unique armor pieces from each Tier. 6 Tier 1, 6 Tier 2, 6 Tier 3 for each race. If you purchased Tier 2 before, then you have already fulfilled that requirement, and can not get credit again.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Emperor%27s_New_Wardrobe
That.
I spent all of maybe 15 seconds on the vines before I realized “Hey, I’m probably just meant to be fighting the sylvari.” My necro had little trouble. I already had on axe/focus and staff, so I started out with my more melee set and just switched to staff when he’d jump to the other platforms. As for the bombs, I just moved out of the way or dodged; on the few occasions I dodged off, I just found my way back up and went back to fighting. The sun crystal/shield thing is shown in the fight before the last one, so that was easy to figure out. Outside of the BOB spam (which definitely gets old fast), I don’t see what the big issue is here. I’m definitely not the best player, yet I managed just fine solo.
I also went back and did it on my ranger (whom I do not play often at all) and my warrior and had no problems there.

Please let there be multiple giant to murder!
Use the new pickaxe…. beside the node material it spams shards.
No. The watchwork pickaxe has a chance to drop watchwork sprockets, which can then be turned into blade shards via the forge.
Hmm … which mesmer illusion uses axes ? Because we have also Reaver of the Mists. Or a shield .. Wall of the Mists.
If you finished the full story on a character, ending with talking to the miner after exploring Scarlet’s room, then you have the option to restart the story from the beginning. Once you open your mail for the second time around, it starts your progress from the beginning, but you can access the other instances at any time (hence the purple stars on the map). If you go to an instance out of order, you’ll get that “This is not your current story step” or whatever message. But you wouldn’t get the full reward again if you went back and did it again on the same character; you’d just have the chance to do any achievements and just replay it.
There are two pink/purple daggers I know of, but they’re obviously not as glowy as Anomaly or Vision of the Mists. They’re still pretty, though, and one of them does have some glow on it.

Recently i found out that many buildings in Guild Wars 2 that are locked and have no entry, even though they have a very nice interior design.(I managed to see small bit of it though small holes in buildings.) I think that A-net should open these buildings, and share the nice view with the players. What is the need in having all that design locked? People from different guilds could make a nice screenshot
For example in Divinity’s Reach, there is a Minister Zamon’s Mansion. I’ve seen many pictures of it,outside and inside, and i really liked it i mean i could make so many screenshots for my profile! I would really like to have these doors opened. Please share your opinion on my thoughts, and please don’t judge to harsh as it is my first forum post
There’s actually a human PS that takes place inside Minister Zamon’s house. Just so you know.
Well, I’ve been in Dry Top for about 20 minutes now and haven’t had any lag issues. Two days ago it was terribad, especially around the entrance to the zone. But now it’s fine, for me.
However I wouldn’t link it to the “dungeon master” title or the “all welcome” description. You just had the bad luck to draw two individuals that lack certain social graces.
Yes, it is frustrating and annoying, but that doesn’t link necessarily two those two criteria.
Yup, that’s what I was going to say.
It’s the true evil of the asura making itself known. Don’t trust those little devils.
As a side note: Please, for the love of everything tasty and delicious, let me forge my army of Jennahs and Risen Priests of Balthazar.
Well, let’s put it this way. The fiery rush has been this way for quite some time now. There have been countless threads on the forums about it, as well as bug reports in-game. There have also been several patches. It has yet to have been changed, nor have we seen a negative comment from Anet about it.
Are the characters you’re trying this on done with the main Personal Story (have they killed Zhaitan and followed up with Trahearne to get the PS reward)? If not, you have to go into your Story Journal tab (not in the Achievements tab), select Season 2, and then activate it there.
Every time I run into someone with a BAZINGA or a ROCK PAPER SCISSORS LIZARD SPOCK shirt, I automatically know that 1.) they have no taste . . . as if ‘funny’ were an objective concept and it defies universal laws to disagree.
So, it’s ok for you to question why they find it funny, but it’s not ok for them to question why you don’t find it funny.
I just loved reading that chat log. Conversation in German, and then “kitten”.
Seriously, though, that’s really weird. Like, super, super weird.
Just checking: you did complete the whole story before trying to get the bonus achievements, right? Because anytime I did a repeat instance after completing the first round, I would always have that instance’s yellow achievement “buffs” on my UI until I completed them.
