I’m confused. Why does this affect things this much? Just using my experience here:
Before the “server time” change to UTC dailies reset every day at 7pm Central time for me. That was also the same time my guild would do Saturday guild missions.
After the “server time” change to UTC dailies reset every day at 7pm Central time for me. It is also the same time my guild does Saturday guild mission.
So, I’m just not noticing any difference at all. Obviously, it might have made things confusing for those guilds who had things scheduled the day of or within a few hours of the patch Tuesday, but beyond that, there would be time to at least prepare a good chunk of people in those guilds for any change.
Honestly, I did every gauntlet champion on my necro, and I beat most of them on the first or second try. Necro works pretty well on all the bosses. I haven’t given Liadri more than a couple of attempts, though.
Regardless of the mega server system, you will still need to guest on your guild mates home server in order to receive the personal reward.
This. Guild privileges have not changed since the megaserver system was put in; you still have to be on the same world as your guild to get the perks.
I just tested it out on a warrior, with a sigil of life in a greatsword. Stacks added up to 25 just fine. Are you getting downed often? If you get downed, you lose that stack (or at least that’s what happened when I got downed).
I just used the portal to and from Southsun Cove, and I had no problems. The portal from LA to Southsun popped me at Pearl Islet, and then the portal at Pearl Islet popped me back at the gate in LA.
That doesn’t necessarily mean only one ever dropped. It’s very likely people who DID get it as a drop kept it to make the back piece or are sitting on it to post on the TP later.
If you did not have the items in your inventory (because you were hacked twice, and not eligible for a second Account Restoration), they will not be unlocked in your Wardrobe. You will have to obtain each item, again. This would not be a bug, but an issue of Account security.
Sorry for your loss.
This.
Best.Dive.Ever is from the first set of Zephyr achievements. So, you can’t get it anymore.
It’s both the sound of someone crossing the finish line and the sound of one of the guild rush traps (the one that stuns and then kills the player) being activated. And yeah, the distance it plays is ridiculous.
How can those items be in the TP when they are account-bound ?

They’re not account bound. And neither of those links say they’re account bound.
I placed last in one race and didn’t get credit. I placed second in another race and also didn’t get credit. Please fix this.
I’m also not getting credit for my races. If it really requires 1st-3rd place, the description should be changed.
and yet… necromancer.
Hey, we necros have warhorn 5 to give us a boost . . . and then slow us down if we run too close to any animal or mob.
Seriously, though, we do have the 25% signet and spectral walk. Too bad the latter has that long cooldown.
But… sooo many? :O
There should be some kind of chat filter to sort unwanted messages.
There is. That’s why they change each message slightly (adding random letters or numbers) and switch between map and whispers.
It’s probably not the same account doing it. It’s probably multiples.
Try running a repair on the client. https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/28148006-Repairing-the-Game-Client
I usually just use gw2legendary, since it has everything you’ll need (including the approximate cost of items you’ll need to buy), while also letting you check things off as you go.
That being said, great job making those! That must have taken quite some time.
During the event the event info on the UI says “Bonus: Defeat the champions within the time limit”. It doesn’t say you get a chest, but you apparently are supposed to get one, in the form of a Daily chest (like what you get from world bosses, only it’s a splendid chest instead of a rare).
Easy solution to add dueling.
1. you could make all players that enter the obs arena combatants, unless in the same party or in same guild.
2. You could just add a arena in major cities, anyone who enters becomes a combatant, unless in same party.
Yup, both of those sound good (especially #2).
The scaling on subjugators is seriously broken.
Inculpatus: It was added/changed with the April 15th patch. It used to just be three different champs with no event tied to them. Now, however, they’re three champs tied together by a timer, and if you kill them all before the timer is up, you’re supposed to get a bonus chest.
I’ve done the event a few times since the change, and I’ve only ever received the bonus chest one time (which was actually yesterday). Every other time I just got the normal champ loot.
As far as I know it’s only ever been one set of armor per account with the heroic edition.
The troll runestones could just be someone (or some group of people) taking the runestone from the troll cave and running it to the hunting lodge for funsies, and then doing the same thing over and over.
First Person view always makes me feel dizzy and quite nauseated. Plus, I like being able to see everything around me when I’m in combat. So, even if it were an option in the game, I wouldn’t use it.
Here’s your answer, you get all the skins. Besides twilight/sunrise, it even includes dusk/dawn skins. I’ve bought it directly from tp as it’s much more expensive to craft.
Awesome. Good to know.
I got the achievement several months ago. So, as far as I know, it’s still able to be done.
so I should try again and report as bug…just wondering… annoying as did kill her…
Yeah, I’d try again. If you still don’t get the achievement, I’d screenshot both the event reward and your AP to show you still didn’t get it, and then report it.
The TP is great for being a TP but the fact you cannot look up light, heavy armor and only get that is annoying.
What? There is a filter system that filters out by armor weight, rarity, level, etc. and display only what you are looking for. I use it frequently.
Unless you have a separate program running with your TP, you can’t filter by armor weight. You can filter by level, rarity, and piece type (helm, shoulder, boots, etc.); but you can’t search by/filter by weight.
I got the achievement several months ago. So, as far as I know, it’s still able to be done.
If only in-game necromancers were this powerful, Anet plz!
I know, right?
My friend who was selling arah p2 a few days ago had 2 regulars 1 random that all paid, the 5th joined and was able to kick him using some unknown method. The regulars told him that there was no kick message.
He might have used the merge bug/glitch.
WvW armor and armor skins work like karma purchases. They become soulbound on acquire. And if you’re, say, on a light armor character and try to buy a piece that’s heavy armor, a notice will pop up and inform you that you’re about to SOULBIND a piece that your character’s class cannot use.
Since the wvw items are immediately soulbound, they’re immediately unlocked in your account-bound wardrobe. So, they’ll be there without you having to manually choose to unlock them.
The only time I’ve had it happen was when I’d already done that same path since the most resent reset.
Aetherblades anywhere in the game (the JP in Gendarran Fields, fractals, TA Aether path, and EOTM) still drop them. Also, that one node in your home instance drops them.
Having to AFK that often could get pretty annoying very fast to the rest of your team, especially for certain dungeons. If you need to do it that often, try just running dungeons with guildies and/or friends who know what’s up; random players probably won’t be as willing to wait. But yeah, that’s definitely not something you can be banned from the game for.
You’re welcome!
You have to use/activate the signet to give the mob those conditions. Otherwise it just increases your power.
Just search the TP for what you’re looking for. Example: Search for level 80 exotic axes, sort by price (low to high), and then either buy the cheapest ones or put in buy orders for the cheapest ones at a price you want to spend.
The “cheapest” ones will be dungeon exotics, since you don’t have to spend gold on those.
It’s only because in creation process, you “bind” these components to your account. Although if you just buy Eternity, you don’t even touch it’s components, so I believe you are left out with only Eternity’s skin itself.
This.
well Pavilion was all about loot- it was a farmers gold making paradise
if you want to improve builds/skills on individual characters- Gauntlet was all about that
While people got a lot of mats and stuff from the Pavillion mobs, most of the big gold farmers were farming gauntlet champs with gambits.
There are a couple of folks in my guild who are in their mid-30s and above. And I’m turning 30 this summer.
I really loved the Four Winds map and all the stuff in it. So, I’m excited.
As for the gauntlet, meh. But maybe I’ll actually get around to attempting Liadri this time.
In the case of Claw of Jormag:
Since the feature patch, the new champs that spawn during phase 2 do drop loot. However, the ones that were in the game before the patch (the champion wolf/wolves and champion goliath) continue to not drop loot. So, if you really want champ loot from phase 2, just go for the champ mobs that aren’t wolves or goliaths.
There’s another largos event in Frostgorge Sound and in Brisban Wildlands, as well as one helping some quaggans in Malchor’s Leap. Plus, the statue of Dwayna at the Cathedral of Zephyrs looks a lot like a largos.
I’d love to see more of them, too. They seem like a really interesting race.
All I want is to be able to forge Superior Sigils and Superior Runes.
Yeah, I’ve only had a black lion chest key drop (as in not a PS reward) maybe three or four times since I started playing back at launch. The rate seems about the same now as it did then.
