My guess is sand, lemon tint, tarnished silver, or white gold.
Hmm..I must not be getting it. I still don’t think this is that great, I only get one boost and but I have to give up 5 or 6 others? Lost all my karma boosts plus a bunch others just to condense them down and then only get to select one. Yes I tried it 4 times and that’s how it worked all 4 times. So gone is the gathering boost, magic find boost and 3 others just so I can select one karma boost.
Yeah, you’re not getting it. When you use a dust it only takes ONE booster and converts that ONE booster into one of the two enchanted boosters. The only time it uses more than one booster is if you only have karma boosters in your inventory, since it uses 2 karma boosters.
When I got it done, I honestly ended up with Strugar dead first. I didn’t MEAN for it to happen, but it did. I was focusing on getting three of the meats eaten (and on CCing Chomper away). Once I had the third meat, Strugar was pretty much dead. Once he died, I was able to get Chomper down pretty quickly, but I think that was luck.
I think you misunderstand what it does. It only takes ONE booster in your inventory (2 if you only have karma boosters in your inventory) and converts it into an enchanted booster, which lets you pick which booster you want to use upon using said enchanted booster.
Yeah, pretty sure this isn’t a bug. I think they just stealth nerfed it.
First: #9 (charr)
Second: #3 (gold quiver lady)
Third: #5 (red and black light armor and lovestruck staff in CM)
I didn’t buy gems or anything with real money for almost a year after launch. Now, I spend maybe $10 a month on gems, in case something shiny comes out in the gem store.
Is transferring even needed now with the megaserver? Cant you just party up and taxi over?
Yup, pretty much. But if the OP wants to do wvw with their friend, then they do need to transfer.
Yes, if you delete all of your characters you can transfer to a new world for free. Anything that you currently have in your bank that’s not soulbound or achievements (I believe) will still be there since it’s account bound.
I am still stuck on this one because i can’t see the meat. When I do notice Strugar throwing a piece, it turns out that there are two other pieces already laying around that Chomper is more than happy to eat, instead.
Add a checkbox for “show yellow item descriptions” along with the show player, enemy, NPC, etc. text in the control panel? Please? I don’t have enough fingers to how do the ctrl key all the time, and doing so also disables some of my other commands.
You have to watch Strugar. He very visibly throws the meat. Just try your best to keep an eye on him while kiting and doing damage as you go. When you see him throw, look in the direction he threw, drop a CC on Chomper, and run to the meat.
And that’s why you set ranks, don’t allow bank access to the lowest ranks, have every new member be the lowest rank until you feel they’re trustworthy. Also, buying another tab for the bank gives you a place to store things that no one but the guild leader(s) can access.
Have you tried submitting a ticket? Since this technically isn’t a bug, your bug reports aren’t going to do much. But contacting support might get you some results or suggestions as to what you can try.
A guy in my guild has kicked several people from the guild this way. We’ve just taken to calling him an evil overlord.
Or you could tell the friend to look up the story on the wiki if they really want to know. If they want the reward from old living stories, they’d have to pay with gems.
I find it easiest to stand inbetween two spawn points, out of aggro range of both golems. Once the golems spawn, let them walk forward. As soon as they stop, pick a golem and use 1 to drag it to the middle. That’s it.
Unfortunately, your teammates will likely be running around the room like crazy people and aggro the golem before you can get to it.
It’s PvP. The point of the race is to win, by both speed and using the tools the game gives you. So, yes, people are going to use the attacks they pick up. You should use them, too, since that’s part of how you play and win. You can also avoid being stunned by picking up defensive items, which will often give you Grounded (which gives you stability).
I don’t think that it’s a bug. It sounds more like a computer issue on your end. I have a few friends who just can’t even try to do karka queen because their computers can’t handle all the spells, particles, people, and mobs that appear during the event (usually the game just flat out crashes on them).
Have you tried turning all of your game graphics settings down as low as possible?
Check under your Shoulders tab to see if you have the recipe for it unlocked. If you don’t, then you have to go buy the recipe again. Keep in mind that if you consume a recipe on one character, you can’t use that recipe on another character; you have to get one for each character you plan to craft with.
Also, as has been said, you don’t discover these recipes in the Discovery panel.
Things seem to have calmed down for me, at least. I haven’t had a DC in over an hour. Thanks for the fast response, Regina (and everyone who worked to get it done)!
It’s probably going to be related to Dragon Bash in some way. So, just be patient.
You left out “Disconnects and Rollbacks”.
I don’t know who told you this patch would be a content patch, though. They said Season 2 isn’t until July 1st.
Well, if I go into QD on one of my non-new characters, I have no disconnects. At least not yet. Weird bugs are weird.
Edit: Nevermind, just disconnected. Twice.
How can you even tell if it’s just coin on the corpse and not an item?
So, I made a new character (human). I finished the Defense of Shaemoor starter mission, and I was sent to Queensdale. I accepted the mission reward, and talked to the map npc. Once I started to move forward towards a heart area, I disconnected. When I reloaded the character, it dropped me right back into the Defense of Shaemoor instance. Out of curiosity, I finished the mission again. Same thing happened again. Zoned into Queensdale, accepted the reward, talked to the NPC, and then disconnect.
Pretty much everyone in mapchat was also saying they’ve been having constant disconnects.
How is the Boss Blitz punishing content? You get a reward even if you’re on a map that doesn’t pull it together enough to get Gold or Silver rewards.
Yeah, those look like Equipment boxes. Things inside equipment, invisible, craftsman, etc. boxes/bags won’t be auto-compacted when you use Compact.
It happens in PVE, too, if a piece of your armor gets damaged. I usually have to repair and then reapply my set of armor to get it working again.
Are you holding the middle button long enough so it’ll actually fire far enough? You have to hold it down to make it fire farther away.
Intercom: Attention!
Intercom: Remain calm. Failure to remain calm is a sign of a weak mind.
I wondered about that. I thought maybe it’s only an insult in the UK (I’m fairly certain it originates here and is more common here) and in the rest of the world it’s the same as doing it the other way around – which means peace.
Yeah, that.
I think the sign is an insult in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. In the US and many other places it just means “peace” or “victory”.
There is already an option to disable headwear on outfits. I do wish we could use our main helms instead of the outfit helms, though.
Just wanna drop this here.
Seems like buying a precursor is starting to get meaningless. Better sell your mats and buy the finished legendary, huh..Do you realise this sudden spike is due to the new changes to Eternity? People are taking advantage of this.
People were “taking advantage” when the legendaries got updated few months ago but I don’t see any precursor prices going down since then.
I bought Storm shortly before the update for 280g. Now it’s 650g. your argument is invalid.Considering I stated the reason for the spike, I don’t think it’s invalid….
The price for many of the precursors has gone up, though, not just the ones for the GS. The staff, dagger, sword, shortbow, longbow, and GSs have all leaped up in price. So, the fact that one legendary was buffed doesn’t give a reason for the spike in all the others.
Can I just be the first to say you look god kitten ed adorable in that pic for some reason?
Yup, I’d have to agree. Cutest pic ever.
Is that why the food that is quite straightforwardly better costs 8 times less(2.5 silver for Koi Cake as opposed to 20 for truffle burger)? Your explanation has zero sense whatsoever.
The crafted equivalent of koi cake is rare veggie pizza, with the veggie pizza lasting 10 minutes longer than the koi cake does, not the burger thing. As for the cost difference, as others said, it’s because koi cakes were an event food that dropped for close-to-free.
Respectfully, I disagree, Don. It may be easier, but I think that your “speed gain” is only seen in the short term, and you potentially lose speed in the long run.
As mentioned above, you can still shorten people’s names to 3-5 characters – the same amount of characters to type mes or guard. So typing-wise you don’t save time. The only time lost would be in the process of memorizing people’s names, which can vary from person to person. At worst, you might have to mouseover a person’s portrait or glance down at your chat tab.
My thought is this:
When you call a person by their class instead of their name, you are objectifying them. You don’t generate respect from a person you objectify. It being a pet peeve of others here as well, if they’re like me, they’re probably less prone to helping a person if they’ve been objectified by them.
The subtle acts that you use to weave a team together become the grease that helps it work smoothly. Being sociable, calling people by their names – even if it’s shortened – dropping smilies in chat at the right spots/times, thanking people, all encourage people to help each other out. Does it work every time? Certainly not, but instances of people being more willing to help you out will increase.
The benefits are longterm. If someone respects you, they’re more likely to go out of their way to work with you and help you out. If you ask something reasonable of them, they’ll probably agree. “Hey Don, do you have EA set up on your war? would you be able to use it? Thanks
”
Also consider that if you get in a spot of trouble, people who respect you are more willing to help out you. If they don’t respect you, they’re more likely to watch you suffer instead. If someone you don’t respect gets downed at mossman, do you think to yourself, “I’d better help him rally,” or do you think, “Well maybe he’ll do something smart and attack a wolf to rally. Hope he doesn’t expect me to walk over there and actually res him.”
The time I think you save is in generating a team that works together to make the run better, rather than 5 individuals who are just hoping to “get through” the dungeon. It’s just touching on human psychology. That’s where I think you gain in the long term.
Well-said.
You might be out of luck here. :\ Next time don’t let your chests pile up like that.

People who call their teammates by their profession instead of their names.
“Hey mesmer, can I get a portal?” or “Hey guardian, go pull those mobs.” or whatever.
I hate that. -_-#
I hate that, too!
Similarly, it bugs me when no one says hello when joining a party. I mean, I don’t expect everyone to have a deep discussion about their personal lives, but a simple hello is at least polite and shows you’re capable of typing at least one word.
I leveled a mesmer after the feature patch, and I also haven’t really noticed a difference in difficulty. I like having to unlock the traits in different situations.
You should try diving spot on top of the aetherblade jp. Then you will see how easy the skipping stone jp is.
This.
The mini puppy looks just like my doggie. So, I’m happy with my beagle.
There is a mini beagle.
Edit: Hm, maybe your post is meant to be asking for the mini puppy to be able to swim. If so, I agree. I want my swimming beagle.

I went for the panda first. It’s adorable, and I think it’s worth it. I then got a second round of 1600 tokens and the two favors so I could also get the dolyak tonic. The tonic is also worth it. But I’d pick panda first.
Tazza does drop… if you kill Kaeyi before her.
She doesn’t drop anything. Ever.
I haven’t checked in the last 6 months, but before it was the case. Has this changed?
I don’t remember her dropping loot since I’ve been doing dungeons, which was about a year and a half ago. I can’t say if that was the case before that point.
Tazza does drop… if you kill Kaeyi before her.
She doesn’t drop anything. Ever.
The only time I have this problem is when I’m having latency issues. 90% of the time, the lightning pulls do exactly what they’re supposed to do, though.
Yeah, as others said, they farm the champs in p1. There are five easy champ bags. You have six, if you kill the Commander and ignore Tazza (since she drops no loot). So, people will just kill the champs, and then reset it. I personally would get bored really fast with it. :\
The charr t3 light helm eats hair, too. So, it’s not just newer helms that do it.
Yeah, helms render characters bald, and it’s very noticeable on charr. It’s ruined a few helms for me on my charr.
