How is there 100% daze uptime?
You don’t have Druid line so you can’t take glyphs, primal echoes, or lunar impact.
The only daze/stun duration your MoC is going to affect is your Hilt Bash.
I refer to that build as the “regular ranger” who will not be affected by an ICD to the duration portion of my change.

So moment of clarity:
100% longer stun and daze duration and
Gain attack of opportunity on interrupt.
Is too strong with druid. Especially skills like astral form 3 (6s daze on a (5s) cooldown). On the flip side the trait is balanced on regular ranger because regular rangers only have access to Hilt Bash and Shortbow 5. (Pigs don’t really count)
I propose the addition of an ICD to the duration portion of the trait. Say 15s. This would have no effect on regular rangers because they only reasonably take one of their two stuns which both have a cool down longer than 15s. This would reduce the oppressive nature of the combo on druid without ruining the trait for regular rangers.

Run apothecary. Max healing and you can do real damage.
Compensatory buff it to that 10s ICD and I’ll support your nerf.
Ranger needs stuff to help others. Here are my suggestions for shouts with the pet centric concept behind them left intact.
Sicem:
Add : “pet well transfer movement impeding conditions from itself and allies in the radius to its target. Conditions transferred per hit: 1 (priority: pet over ally)”
Search and Rescue:
The pet well run to the lowest health other ally (not the player). On arrival the pet will clear 3 conditions and will heal that ally for 4k and other allies in aoe for 2k. Has no effect without a target.
Protect me
The pet will move to the player. Upon arrival it will attack, removing stability, knocking down opponents, and applying weakness.
Guard:
The pet will guard an area. Allies within the area have 20% of incoming direct damage redirected to the pet.
Hype died with whoa for me.
I expect anet to do the same with druid.
I thought it would be much more reasonable to remove quickness from the copy table.
This is because there was a bug where the nature magic trait: +50% boon duration from pet was actually +100% boon duration from pet. But this benefited rangers so it warranted a fix.
Healing spring tail swipe all day.
Please let things settle down before passing judgement. Everyone is busy playing with their new changes rather than focusing on the game. Once this build is no longer a novelty people will figure out how to fight it.
If at that point it is decided that WHaO needs as nerf, rangers will need significant compensatory buffs to stay relevant.
Remember the number of rangers winning in ESL and AG.
Druid isn’t guardian and won’t replace it.

The idea that a class is stealing your role because of a skill(s) close in nature is wrong. If it was true then ranger would be the victim of a far more egregious role theft as many of our skills and traits have direct counterparts objectively better on other classes.

Can we get an idea of the data coming to the pvp api in the coming months? I’m not looking for a date, more so an idea of what will/will not be added long term. The info well help drive the design of my website.
Specifically things like:

Per player score
The detailed stats tab
Builds
League info
I do not pay with premades with this account. Everything you see there is full solo queue.

I have a higher win rate on ele with 10% of the games than I do on ranger.
The issue is that other classes are so unreasonable compared to ranger. I’ve had engie friends hit 800k dmg dealt. I have hit 550k on my ele. My best games on ranger net me 300-400k with less sustain than either of the above.
What I find is that ranger is objectively worse than another class in any category for ranked play.
Your rules are bad.

Note that the in-game UI considers a “bye” as a victory and a “forfeit” as a defeat when it displays aggregates — that might be the cause of the discrepancy. Both the in-game UI and the API are pulling from the same internal API, so it’s unlikely they’re out-of-sync.
I was looking only at wins and losses. After adding in the byes, forfeits, and desertions I got to the numbers reflected in the in game UI.
The aggregate data for https://account.arena.net/applications is incorrect/out of date.

This difference of some number exists across multiple API keys and professions.

So the game will now play top down as druid changes the game to an rts. You will breed your pets using resource nodes found throughout the map.
The AI will function much like the AI in Majesty. You won’t have individual control over your units (gw2 is not an apm heavy game) but you will control your army using special waypoints you pace on the world map. Examples of these are “enemy here” or “ally here”.
There will be a lot of differences between the current ranger and the druid (e.g. equipment) but these ranger specific effects will all be transformed to pet ones to ensure that normal game progression remains intact.

You need a quick dodge reflex and a solid understanding of where the damage comes from. Condi mes is also beatable.
Btw all the pet names can just be stored client side like screenshots. Zero server use for anet.

lose 50 matches in a row to tank mmrr
Win until I advance to the next tier
Lose 50 matches in a row
This will happen if it is possible.
Nobody is online in your mmr bracket so the game is slowly widening the search for a match. In that time people somewhat close to your mmr get into a match leaving you to wait longer and longer until the system casts a wide enough net to give you a match.
There is very little you can do as an outlier to improve your queue times.
1) drop mmr
2) queue during a more active time
3) queue with players with lower mmr

I can’t watch someone dodge roll twice at 1500 range again and again. Or knockback someone with stab again and again. A montage with basic mistakes peppered through it should be called average at best.
For rangers: Carrion traps can shove the ele off point long enough to decap/fullcap.
Just cancel when the animation starts.
It’s a touchy matchup. You have to play consciously.
Obstructed will defeat plague signet/dagger 4
You can bait the auto transfer with trash condis like chill/weakness/cripple.
Burst only if you are standing in your healing spring.
If you apply a lot of condis to him it is reasonable to assume he will transfer them back to you so burst into rng dodge spam.
Bait his transfer into your empathic bond tick.
He has only the auto transfer in death shroud.
If you get under 50% for too long just run as the necro traits make the necro too dangerous to fight at that point. (2 might per 1s/spinal shivers etc).
You will likely need to drop point to avoid dagger auto spam but can still win the fight.
My method of fighting varies depending upon the map. For example on forest I can drop traps and then run behind a pillar so he cannot transfer but on khylo I must play a slow technical fight. Because off this I can’t describe a set rotation or plan but can only provide a set of information and tips I use to direct my next move.
I have lost to necros but I have also beat opn/noscoc/others enough to say it isn’t a hard counter, but more a touchy matchup.
I cannot drop vipers nest (9 stacks of poison/16s cd) as this is one of the key skills needed to shove bunkers like d/d eles and shoutbows off the point. If you need the extra condi clear I would recommend swapping the Beastmastery line for Nature Magic to take Evasive Purity for the extra clear. Even though that trait only clears one damaging condition it will clear out a lot of junk condis which cover the high damage conditions.
I don’t have any cele necro friends online but will try to record about 30 min of duels unedited with some commentary when I have the chance.

I just recalled it because some guy in HotM was going on about in map chat that NH wasn’t working. That’s literally the only reason. ^^
And yeah, it’s kinda sad to see how unknown the workings of Ranger are to most people. Metabattle having the suboptimal build on their website is just more evidence of that fact.
Read through the compiled ranger bugs list on the bug forum. It’s helpful to avoid the bad bugs.
He is better on ranger than mesmer?
I ran into him about 30 times over a series of 5-7 games one night. Almost every time I killed him in a 1v1, he would yell out in map chat telling me to run a real build rather than a meta build. Funny thing is, my build is far from meta.
But you run condi so you should win 1v1. He was dumb for fighting you.
