I’m not well versed in the exact math going on with how the scores are adjusted each week, but this is more or less the effect of the method anet uses. If a server wins by 40k each week, their lead doesn’t increase, it actually stays about the same if I recall. You just can’t really see it in action as much because it operates on a macro level instead of in-match.

There have already been occasions when people on rival servers were given the info and came in for friendly chats….. and then turned up unannounced in other channels with groups that were actually in wvw. So whilst I sympathize with your friendly intentions, I do not blame officers for being a little ban happy.

You see not only were my intentions good, but I also didn’t do anything wrong, and I wasn’t even in the ts when I got banned. So basically what I’m hearing is I was banned because I’m a member of blackgate and nothing more.

Stop your whining, if you like SoR that much go join them, but no one cares already. Spend more time fighting SoR less time trying to be their friends and kiss up to them.

It was an unfair ban Stop being so negative. Raiden just wanted to have some cross server karaoke fun. Nothing wrong with that. And this isn’t whinging, just blatant confusion as to why he was banned after the SoR he spoke to were so positive.

I wish nothing but the best for BG and SOR this week. As much as we decry the matchup all three servers are Tier 1 for a reason and I hope in our last week together it will show.

I hope everyone realizes IRON would have had the same effect no matter which of the three servers it went to. Maybe more pronounced, or less so, but ultimately a large EU guild in a tier with no other EU presence = easy breezy lemon squeezy NA time.

It is not a “home bl” issue as invaders said they were DCing too. I play on that map between 7 am – 9 am central time and I’ve had it DC me in big fights, when I’m solo contesting a keep and when I am just running around between objectives with no enemies or allies around me.

That is why we in Black Gate are stuck in a bad position.
Right now there are only 2 active Borderlands SoR and BG. So we will be hit by both SoR who now have the strongest EU and JQ who are hungry for scraps.

The thing JQ lacks are guilds willing to duke it out with a SoR zerg and they go for what is easy and SoR have no choice, but to go to BG.

Overall it is a small mater. If i am i am no longer sick in a few hours then i will come on and go after SoR like i always do. After all there is no fun in fighting some one who do not have more numbers.

JQ does not avoid fights with SoR. Reset night for example SF and friends took Their home map hoping Their N/A best was there. We cheered when we found TW in hills. We knew it was on…and some great fights were to be had for the rest of the night.

What happened? While I was working on inner hills about 10 minutes after reset, Blackgate ended up ignoring everything SoR…and coming into the hole i made in hills…and attacked JQ

Then kept attacking us for the next 2 hours while doing their best to ignore or avoid fights with SoR. In fact each time i figure i’ve given Blackgate enough of a beating and i switch to attacking SoR..you guys come right back for more and hit JQ

So forgive me when i laugh at you here for even making this post. And forgive me for making a point in flipping Blackgate’s garrison 3 times so far this week and everything else i see of yours paper because of your laughable tactics on reset night

Euro prime was very quiet. Nice to take the t3 bay off JQ on BG border after about 3 hours, you guys must of been border hopping like crazy to mend those walls. Enjoyed EB earlier in the day, some of those zergs from BG and JQ were huge.

Hopefully BG and JQ will get what they are looking for in a few Euro guilds, should make things more interesting.

Not so serious, but there’s a deeper truth on JQ that non-JQ expats don’t understand.. Like why they’re so stable in the upper tiers.
I challenge them because we deserve to fight a JQ united. Not a JQ reliant on so few and on hours outside NA. They’re just old and stubborn like me! And more than a few of them agree with me.

Believe me the old vets that have been here since release (when you guys were here) still put in our only game time as time spent in wvw. Winning or not im in there either every day. JQ is going no where our WvW guilds are behind this server no matter if we are in first or third. We play for the hell of the game.

I think honestly its more or less the games WvW population outside of wvw guilds are dying as a whole. :l If you think about it SoR and BG have some decent size wvw guilds but honestly JQ still has the smaller/medium size WvW guilds and then our few larger international guilds. Either way you will always see our NA guilds out there no matter the point score ready to kick kitten and load up our bags………..maybe even make a few hundred omega pushes like we did tonight for the lulz
